What they’ve said about us
“ Liza Robbins “ We regularly visit Fitzroy Island as it is one of our favourite places for a family day out! The boat, food and staff are also fantastic and I can highly recommend a hike to the summit to take in the incredible views with a snorkel afterwards to cool off! ”
“ Wendy Woo “ Stunning island, lots of activities, the crew from Fitzroy Island Adventures were fantastic. Lunch was more than ample and delicious. Highly recommend for a fun filled day out. We will be back. ”
“ Pierre Lagadec “ Highly recommended! We did the Fitzroy Island full day tour including glass bottom boat. It was great, we had plenty of time to hike around all the walking trails, have a swim at the beach, have some lunch and enjoy the glass bottom boat tour. We didn't take the picnic option offered with the tour but found a nice pub/restaurant with reasonable prices and nice food options. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful too. ”
“ Andrea Bradley “ We had a wonderful day. Lots of good snorkeling - nice reefs toward the rocks, a lot of fish at Nudey beach. We enjoyed the turtle rehabilitation center. A little hike to Nudey beach - wish we made more time to spend there. What I liked about Raging Thunder are their times of departure and arrival. Very convenient for us. Also, their staff was extremely friendly with great service. ”
“ Liraz “ Beautiful place, the staff was very kind, excellent snorkeling gear and beach gear (kayaks and sups), good lunch, had a great time. ”
“ Deirdre Shiels “ Brilliant day spent on the island. My trip included snorkelling gear. You can hire kayaks and paddle boards on the island. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day. The map given on check-in was helpful to show you where everything was. The island itself is absolutely stunning the day trip definitely worth it. Would definitely book again with Fitzroy Island Adventures. ”

Galapagos Islands Cruise Guide
This archipelago is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and boasts a dramatic, varied landscape, and incredible diversity of animals and plants that you won’t find anywhere else in the world. There’s a reason Galapagos Islands inspired Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, and the best way to experience it all is by booking Galapagos cruise deals and exploring the islands.
What Galapagos Islands cruise itinerary is the best?
The Galapagos are made up of 21 islands, with 14 that are open to visitors. You can’t go wrong with any itinerary, but if you really want to see certain plants, wildlife, or terrain, research the best island to see them and add it to your list. Here are a few places not to miss:
- San Cristobal : There are lots of beautiful sites to see here including the beautiful Leon Dormido rock formation, a very famous snorkeling spot.
- Floreana Island : Gorgeous areas on this island include The Post Office Bay (sharks, turtles, and sea lions), the Devil’s Crown (brightly-colored reef fish), and Punta Cormorant (black sandy beaches dotted with peridot, plus Green Sea Turtles).
- Gardner Bay : Excellent conditions for snorkeling and scuba diving, and spotting Blue-footed Booby colonies.
- Punta Suarez : See the Waved Albatross, a very rare species that only lives on Española. The area is also home to red-and-green marine iguanas, known as “Christmas Iguanas.”
- Isabella : Galapagos may be best known for their giant tortoises, and this is where you’ll find the largest diversity.
Which is better? Galapagos cruise or island hopping?
If you’ve been debating whether to take a cruise or book your own island-hopping adventure, consider the convenience of a tried-and-tested cruise, especially for seniors who may not find the right accommodations on smaller, unknown boats. A Galapagos cruise typically does not allow more than 100 people, giving travelers the opportunity to experience more of Mother Nature than they would in a larger group, plus provides a comfortable place to sleep, and lots of entertainment while at sea.
Are there Galapagos Islands senior cruise deals?

Khabarovsk, Russia
You are here, about khabarovsk.
Khabarovsk is one of the most significant and beautiful cities of Russia's Far East. It stands on the right bank of the Amur River along the scenic Trans-Siberian railway and almost touches the Chinese border.
The city of Khabarovsk played a crucial role in East - Russian history and is famous for its historic sights, monuments of architecture of different eras, religious buildings, lovely parks, gardens, and artificial lakes which surprise its visitors with impressive fountain shows.
Khabarovsk History
Founded in 1858, the city is now loved by Chinese travelers and those who are going on iconic train journeys along the world's longest railway from Siberia. After days of relentless taiga, people reach this vibrant city with multiple attractions, plenty of historical sights from the tsarist-era, and a number of places to try traditional Russian cuisine. Khabarovsk is indeed a charming city that deserved to be on your travel itinerary. Especially, if you are the legendary Trans-Siberian is on your travel radar.
We suggest beginning your Khabarovsk tour from the famous monument erected in honor of Nikolay Muravyov - Amursky, one of the best-known explorer of East Siberia, a general, and the founder of the city.

Take in the spectacular location and view of this Cathedral and its classic golden domes, dominating the city skyline and being visible from a large distance.
Your Trans-Siberian itinerary would become even better if you include a visit to the famous Khabarovsk Bridge as well. The railway bridge goes over the Amur River and is considered to be the longest bridge on the Trans-Siberian route.
