On Wednesday (Sept. 7), the Country Music Association revealed its slate of final nominees for this year’s awards ceremony, with Combs earning nominations for entertainer of the year, male vocalist of the year and album of the year for Growin’ Up .

Wilson emerged as this year’s leading CMA Awards nominee in her inaugural nomination year, earning nominations in six categories, including album of the year for Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’ . Her nominations haul makes Wilson the fourth artist in CMA Awards history to earn six or more nominations in their first year on the ballot, after Glen Campbell (1968), Brad Paisley (2000) and Kacey Musgraves (2013).

Johnson’s CMA nominations include male vocalist of the year, new artist of the year, as well as single of the year and music video of the year (both for his No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay hit “‘Til You Can’t”).

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, Sept. 16. See the tour dates below:

It’s difficult to definitively say who the biggest act in country music is, but for my money, you probably gotta say it’s Luke Combs.

And he’s going even bigger.

Announced today, Luke Combs will be embarking on a monster 16-country world tour that will take him to stadiums across the States, up into Canada, across the pond into Europe and down under to Australia and New Zealand.

Featuring support from Riley Green, Flatland Cavalry, Lainey Wilson and Brent Cobb, as well as Cody Johnson and Lane Pittman, it’s guaranteed to be one of the best shows you’ll see all year.

Tickers go on sale next Friday, September 16th:

With 13 consecutive #1’s under his belt, and seeing that he’s the biggest thing in mainstream country music right now, I’d say it’s high time he take that Luke Combs magic across the pond and down to Australia.

He has been to Europe to perform before (and recently headlined C2C fest ), but this would be the first world tour for the North Carolina native on this scale.

He just kicked off his fall Middle Of Somewhere Tour   here in the continental U.S. this past weekend, and released his third studio album, Growin’ Up , in June.

At a show in Maine, he notably refunded the entire crowd at the concert due to a vocal issue and still performed, in addition to paying back two young boys who stacked firewood to buy their tickets to the show and even inviting them backstage afterwards the night before.

What a guy…

He’s also heading to Canada this fall with Riley Green and Chayce Beckham, and if he’ll be stopping by a country near you in the next several months (or even in 2023), it’s not something you’re gonna want to miss.

The man puts on a helluva live show , that’s for sure.

His current single at country radio is the steamy “The Kind of Love We Make”:
