Not so simple. When you go to “visit website anyway” it then tells you website has been blocked. We don’t even have a choice.

So really, this article is misleading.

A blocked warning is a different warning from “This connection is not private”, you might be experiencing a blocked website form a firewall or from your ISP.

There is no way to access this website. The warnings do not give access in any way shape or form. It’s a Godaddy site but my iPad Pro 11 will not allow me to access. There is not “enter anyway” or “visit Webite” button, the site is basically completely locked from me and I have to use my Microsoft Windows 10 to get there.

What website are you trying to access, and what is the exact error message that you see?

This crap has been going over and over and over and they never fix it, same with the audio crackling noise. These days nothing really works with Apple, it’s unbelievable the software they put out, zero QA literally.

My Safari (13.1.2, MacOS 10.13.6, MacBookPro8,1) just goes into an infinite loop. I keep on getting the warning, clicking on the “visit the website”, supplying the password, over and over, and I never actually see the web page. I have to switch to Google Chrome or Firefox to be able to see it. This behavior has been consistent over multiple Safari and OS versions.

Mine always asks for a password to make a change to Keychain in order to bypass the warning. Is there a way to fix that? I always switch to another browser which is quite inconvenient

This Connection is Not Private - Safari prevents me from accessing pages on my iPhone that can be accessed on the devices of others

My iPhone (14.6) frequently gives me "this connection is not private" messages when I attempt to access webpages via the Safari app. These pages *can* be accessed on the devices of others with Safari, but not on my iPhone.

The same thing also happened on my iMac (11.4) with one particular website on safari.

It is concerning because these sites *can* be accessed on the devices of others using Safari...the warnings do not pop up.

I have tried regular and private windows. I have power cycled the phone. I have also cleared history, cookies, etc. This has started / become noticeable in the last two weeks. My date and time settings are accurate.

When I use Firefox on my phone, the site can be accessed.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

What iOS version? Firefox updates its apps independently, Apple only update Safari as part of iOS updates, so if you're behind on iOS updates you can be using an outdated Safar but up to date FF.

On your device, tap:

Settings > General > Software Update.

1. If it says your device is up to date there is nothing more you can do. If apps you are trying to use say you need a higher iOS version, you will need to buy a newer device if you want to run those apps or features.

2. If it says an update is available you will only be given one update selection which will be the highest available iOS version supported by your device. Click on a link below for full instructions about how to update with wi-fi or 5G, or using a computer if you have storage or connectivity issues. If the update listed is not equal to or higher than the iOS version you need to use a feature, you again will need to buy newer equipment if you want to use that feature.
