Given the current unfortunate climate of Lyft/Uber, my friend and I were looking for alternate transportation to Deer Creek for a Sunday eve. concert. We both had to work the next day, and after 20 years of concerts there we were not looking forward to an hour-plus "after party" waiting in traffic to get out of the parking area. We found TST totally by accident with a Google search for "shuttle to Ruoff". Essentially they run a fleet of very nice shuttle buses which offer multiple pick-up locations throughout the city. You pay online, then meet the shuttle at the pre-determined spot a few hours prior to the concert's start. We met our driver, Trey at the Broad Ripple Sun King parking lot. He was super friendly and had some tunes playing (radio was also Bluetooth-equipped if we wanted to run out own soundtrack). A cooler of cold bottled water was provided. We waited just a few mins and then were off to the next (last stop) to pick up a few more folks at Blind Owl Brewery. Total on bus was a comfortable 11 people. The ride was quick, we got there with plenty of time to spare (at least an hour), and the best part: the bus parked right near the entrance! Trey had some folding chairs and even games for us to play while some of us waited to go into the venue. Most on the bus chose to sit and chat with each other for a bit. We found out that TST's offers many different shuttle services, from sweet 16 parties to bachelorette events and winery/brewery tours. Trey waited with the bus and after the concert we were whisked right out, past all the sitting cars and back onto I-69. Don't forget to tip your driver before you leave. We were home safely in record time! As far as I'm concerned now, this is the ONLY way to go to a concert at Deer Creek (or anywhere else that requires a decent drive)!
Carlo's, our driver, was fantastic. He brought the energy and his communication was phenomenal from the moment we booked up until the end of the tour. We got picked up downtown at Sunking which means after your beers. I did think we'd get a tour of a brewery but day drinking on a Saturday was great. Ash & Elm has great food options. It was our first time there and we loved it. Who knew cider was so flavorful. The seasonal ciders are a must! Garfield brewery was once an old gas station so the outdoor patio area is pretty neat. They have flights available as well. And kismetic, our last stop was also delicious. They don't offer food but have menus from cluster truck. The coffee beer was my favorite! All places to check out if you haven't been. I will definitely be back to each!
I took the bus to Rouff for a concert. I grabbed it on the Southside and my friends got on downtown and Northside. Carlos was amazing and a great driver. He even made sure we got in our cars and weee safe. I would 100% do it again. You can't beat the piece of mind and cost.
The bus was clean and big
These guys are awesome! Showed up on time with a party bus for 12 of us going to the National Championship. My 85 year old mother required a handicapped wheelchair and it was 15 degrees out. He got us up front for the drop off and navigated major traffic to pick us up after the game with zero wait. Truly remarkable. Good stereo, hook up to our Iphone for tunes was easy, cool lighting, nice party bus. Carlos was our driver and he is off the chain, helped us with stocking coolers, ice, water, etc. Extraordinary service. Since our Dawgs won, we kept going to the wee hours of the night and Carlos had no problem in how late we stayed out. Everyone arrived home safe and happy. Very reasonable pricing relative to other transportation services. Truly Awesome. Thank you Carlos! A+++++ I very highly recommend using Top Shelf Tours! Scott Guenther Jan 10 2022
I guess maybe the driver makes all the difference ? All the reviews who had a good experience seemed to actually have Rob (owner?) as their driver. We had someone else and felt totally lost and like this wasn't worth our money. The driver never came inside to tell us they had arrived at the pick up point, when we said hello he barely spoke back, and it only got worse from there. When we arrived at the first place he again didn't speak but opened the doors. Not even a "hey guys, we've arrived at St Jospeh Brewery!" Nope, nothin. Zero words. Zero instruction on what to do inside either. What's worse: the brewery had no idea we were coming, and no special for us. They basically told us to sit at the bar and buy drinks if we wanted. Why is this called a brew tour if we aren't getting anything more than a driver? No beer specials, no history of the area, no instructions .. We saw multiple other brew tours from other companies out who seemed to be having fun. I would recommend a different tour. Really all this was was a bus to drive us from point A to point B with no entertainment and no benefit at the breweries even.

Hi, Courtney, Thanks for your review, and I've taken several steps to correct what you've mentioned. St.Joseph's was called and we had reservations with them, but someone there dropped the ball. The never give samples, but so many people in the past wanted us to go there as part of the tour that we decided to add them. It's a wonderful place, the building is fantastic, and the people are very friendly so we thought it would be a good addition. Samples should have been given at the other three breweries though. Centerpoint and Two Deep always give two samples per person, and Garfield gives you a couple samples as well, but they don't leave them out for customers and instead have to be asked for. Also, samples can be asked for anything you'd like to try before purchasing. I'll update the website to make this more clear. The driver typically talks with everyone on the tours and he's always been good with the people on the bus, but I've talked with him about your experience. I apologize for your poor experience, and hope to do better if you use us again in the future. Thanks, Rob Zajac, owner
We had a great time with this group. They were the only ones he would do 2 buses to bring our entire group. The buses were clean and good. Our driver was Rob and he did the job right. Kept us on schedule. Took us to some great breweries. No issues at all and would recommend these guys.

We had a great time on our Fountain Square distillery tour! We picked the stops and they set everything up for us. All we had to do was board the bus and have a great time! Rob,the owner, responded quickly to any questions we had. Our driver,Carlos, was awesome! He made everything smooth and fun. He even took photos for us.
Best part of the 50th birthday celebration was the party bus rental with top shelf. Our driver, Tim, was punctual, kind, kept our destinations a surprise from the bday boy, and he was a good driver. We all enjoyed our time in the bus singing out tunes from the past (think Tim enjoyed our selection as well). We had so much fun that we will all be getting together and doing one of their brewery tours in the future. Top shelf = top notch
We used Top Shelf Tours to take a group of us to Luke Bryan Concert. It was a fabulous time. Trey our driver was awesome. He came prepared with games, extra lawn chairs and phone chargers. Lol. He was a great driver and so glad he put up with our craziness. Definitely recommend. We will use them again.
I see plenty of 5 star reviews, and I believe legitimately people have a great time on their brewery tours and party bus excursions. My 3 stars is about expectation of advertisement versus service sold. My group purchased groupons for the brewery tour, which says: "We're going to spend between 35-45 minutes at each brewery to allow you to not feel rushed at each stop. We want you to be able to sit back and enjoy your samples, then buy a pint of your favorites and refill your growlers while you're there." Based on that description, our group of four anticipated that samples would be part of the tour. Not (necessarily) so. Here's an overview of how the day went: We arrived at Sun King a little before noon. Our group inquired with the hostess if she knew anything about Top Shelf Tours or what to expect. She told us the driver would come inside, although I'm pretty sure she was just guessing. He didn't. Pretty soon a white bus showed up outside. After sitting there a few minutes, I went out and asked if he was our driver. Yep indeed. I said, "ok, I'll go back and tell our group." He said ok! Shortly after that, our group hopped on the bus along with 8 others. The driver gave us each a sticker to identify us as being a part of a Top Shelf Tours group. Cool. We thought that might mean something. It didn't, at least not in terms of a perk for us; more like advertising for them I think. The driver closed the doors, jammed to his music (good taste by the way), and drove us to our first stop: St. Joseph's Brewery. I'll review St. Joseph separately. Suffice to say: the bar tender looked at us, said he didn't know anything about our tour, but they don't do anything special for groups, and they wouldn't be offering samples to our group. We were welcome to "try something" if we wanted to, but nothing different than an average bar customer. Feeling a bit misled, I called Rob from Top Shelf Tours, and he told me that he keeps St Joseph on the tour list because of the neat architecture, and "it's hard to keep up with what each of the breweries will offer" to his tour groups. I quoted his website about "enjoying samples" and suggested he provide more of a description for truth in advertisement. Help your customers know what to expect. My crew's question at that point was: how will this tour be better than/different than us having crafted our own downtown circuit and Lyfted from one place to another? The consensus among the four of us was: not much. The driver texted us whenever we had ten minutes before the bus was supposed to head to the next stop. I poked fun with him via text, and he was a good sport. However, he really didn't know much about the breweries he was taking us to. On our way to the second brewery, someone asked him: "what's next?" He knew it was "center something... center line... center mark..." then everyone on the bus started chanting possible "center" names. It was Centerpoint, and they gave us one of the best experiences of the day. I'll review them separately, too. We got another "10 minute warning," and soon were escorted to Garfield Brewing, which was a smaller brewery more than happy to offer a nice group experience, and finally, we were taken to Two-Deep, who also knew we were coming and had a sampling experience ready for us. Here's my final take. Top Shelf Tours will provide a very nice shuttle service between breweries. I think it's very overstated as a "tour." The history of craft brewing in IN is super cool; it would have made an awesome tour if our driver knew something about the breweries, their histories, the kinds of beers they are known for, interesting facts about the architecture, and why Top Shelf thinks that the brewery is a worthy stop on their tour. Then again, I was thinking "tour." If you're not thinking "tour" and just want to go have a great time visiting multiple breweries, you will have fun. I mean, there is still plenty of good beer and food available (bring $), and if you like your friends, there's no reason you shouldn't have a great time. We did, but next time, we'd probably just Lyft. The bus was nice, but there were only 4 of us. We got our tickets off Groupon, so it wasn't a bad deal, just not what we had expected or really hoped for.
Hi, Angela, Thank you for the feedback, and I've made some changes to what we're doing. We always call each brewery, winery, and distillery twice that we take people to...once to ask permission during the week before the tour, and once while we are on the way to let the destination now the time of arrival and the final headcount. In this case, St. Joseph's said not to call when we're on our way. Lesson learned...they are almost very good, so I'm not sure what happened there. The bartender was correct that they don't give samples, and that was known by me beforehand. I apologize if you feel mislead...that was never my intention. You might not have gotten samples from St Joseph's, but you should've gotten them at the other breweries you went to. I will make my website clearer on this. I've talked to the driver that you've had,and it must've been an off day for him. Lastly, I'll see what I can do to make the brewery tours more special for everyone. The 'tour' aspect was always meant to be a 'tour of different breweries' lie the other brewery tour companies, but we can do better. I'll come up with something. Thanks again, Rob Zajac Owner
