La nouvelle saison 4 du chapitre 4 de Fortnite affiche une map de très bonne qualité, soutenue par tout un tas de fonctionnalités inédites. Où trouver les Tours météo ?

Les Tours météo ne "s'activent" qu'à la suite du deuxième cercle de Tempête. Avant cette phase, il vous sera impossible de valider le challenge. Vous devez donc vous rendre au niveau des repères rouges qui figurent sur la carte ci-dessus. Au pied de chaque tour de métal se trouve un écran d'ordinateur.

C'est en réalité grâce à cet écran que vous allez pouvoir obtenir la prévision météo.

Comment obtenir la prévision ?

Pour acquérir la prévision météo, vous allez devoir manipuler l'ordinateur au pied de l'édifice. Le hic, c'est que la carte pour activer ledit ordinateur est gardée par un PNJ hostile, qui patrouille au pied de la tour. Vous repérerez ce personnage aisément car s'il est en vie, il sera indiqué sur votre mini-map, quand vous serez à proximité de la tour météo.

Eliminez ce PNJ pour ramasser la carte informatique qu'il laisse tomber en mourant. Une fois muni de la carte, allez à l'ordinateur au pied de la tour puis interagissez avec celui-ci. Vous obtiendrez alors une prévision de la prochaine zone de tempête ! Très utile quand on veut tryhard la partie et se positionner favorablement le plus tôt possible dans la game !

A relentless force that affects all Fortnite players is the ever-tightening Storm Circle. Being caught within it results in rapidly depleting health, and the speed of this drain is directly linked to the Circle's size. Running for your life to evade the Storm is a common experience for players of all levels, and even if you're vigilant, there's no guarantee you won't find yourself making a desperate dash for safety.

Fortunately, in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, The Last Resort, we have the advantage of new Forecast Towers to help us stay ahead of the action. Too good to be true? It is; the Forecast Towers belong to villain Kado Thorn, and you'll have to heist the data.

There are six Forecast Towers that spawn at various locations throughout the landscape. The Forecast Towers track the Storm Circle and provide predictive information about the diameter and location of the upcoming Storm Circle. To locate a Forecast Tower, look for an indicator in your map or scan the skyline.

When you find a Forecast Tower, check its status on the monitor of the control panel located at the Forecast Tower base. You may have to wait for it to power-up, otherwise it will say either Forecast Available or Forecast Secured.

If the monitor says Forecast Secured it means the data at this tower has already been claimed by another player, and you'll have to look for another Forecast Tower. However, if the monitor says Forecast Available, then it's game on, and you're going to have to go toe to toe with one of Kado Thorn's Dealers , who are bosses that guard the Forecast Towers, usually with a pair of low card henchmen.

The henchmen will either be patrolling the area or they will soon emerge from a nearby rift, and they'll be looking for you. The battle will be fierce as you fight multiple opponents simultaneously . It helps if your well armed and have a Business Turret handy, it's even better if you've hired a non-player character (NPC) to help out.

At the end of the battle, when you are victorious, you'll be rewarded with the Dealers Legendary Twin Mag Assault Rifle and Forecast Tower Keycard .

Return to the control monitor at the base of the tower and enter the Keycard to secure Forecast data on upcoming Storm Circles for the rest of the match.

Fortnite has a lot of mechanisms in it which makes it quite interesting for players like us. One of the interesting mechanisms that is a part of Fortnite is the Storm Circle . It gets smaller and smaller as the match progresses to bring all the players close to each other so that they can battle it out amongst themselves. Forecast Tower is a type of building that can be found in various locations in Fortnite which was first introduced in Chapter 4 Season 4 and are now once again back in Chapter 5 Season 1. These towers can help you predict the next Storm Circle before others, so here’s where you can find them.

Where to find the Forecast Tower in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

Forecast Towers will allow you to know when the next Storm Circle will start before others. This will provide you with an advantage as you’ll be able to strategize accordingly while others will have zero clue. These Forecast Tower locations are not revealed from the get-go in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. You’ll need to wait till a minute before the second Storm Circle starts to close in after which you’ll be able to see the towers on the map.

Forecast Towers have a total of four fixed spawn locations and only three of them can spawn during a match. The locations which have spawned a tower will get marked on the map. Here are all the locations where Forecast Towers can be found in Chapter 5 Season 1 of Fortnite.

• On a hill which is found east of the Reclaimed Villa pond.
• On a hill which can be found between the Ship It! Station and Ruined Reels.
• On the hill which will also provide you with a view of overlooking the Riviera Station.
• On the hill which will overlook Dumpenhausen and can be found south of Reckless Railways .

All of the Forecast Towers can be reached easily by riding the train as all of these locations have the railroad beside them.

How to access Forecast Towers in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1

You should keep in mind that to access all the data that is inside these Forecast Towers, you’ll need to get the access key for it. To acquire it you will need to defeat two Legion Heavy Grunts and the Legion Tactical Elite NPC who is the mini boss who guides the Forecast Towers.

You should take down the grunts at first as they don’t have much health after which they can focus on defeating the mini-boss. Upon being defeated, the Legion Tactical Elite will drop an Epic rarity Striker Assault Rifle along with the Forecast Tower access key. You can retrieve the data from the towers using this key after which you’ll be able to know when the Storm Circles will occur before everyone for the rest of the match and get the upper hand.

Forecast Towers in Fortnite are a subtle yet effective addition to Chapter 4 Season 4. These tall radio tower-like structures appear in various spots around the map. They provide valuable intel regarding future Storm Circles to make planning your movement easier.

Today, we'll cover the Forecast Towers in-depth, showing you where each one is located and how they work.

Where are the Forecast Towers in Fortnite?

Six Forecast Towers appear on the current Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 map. However, you will find them outside the major points of interest (POIs).

The Forecast Towers spawn around the lesser-known Fortnite landmarks—primarily on the outskirts. We have provided a map above, outlining each Forecast Tower location to make your life easier.

Additionally, here is a list of the spots and the landmarks that are close to each:

• North of Icy Islets
• Sunswoon Lagoon
• The Hall of Whispers
• North of Frenzy Fields
• Bamboo Circle
• North of Mesa's Ranch

How do the Towers work?

Forecast Towers in Fortnite do not become relevant until after the first Storm Circle starts to close. At that point, you will see a status indicator on the Forecast Tower module that counts up to 100%.

After reaching 100%, the Tower becomes active, and three non-player characters (NPCs) will spawn and patrol the area. To utilize the Forecast Tower, you must eliminate the head boss and retrieve the Forecast Tower Access Card.

Once you've defeated the boss and grabbed the card, head back to the Forecast Tower module and use the card. You should see future Storm Circles highlighted on your map if done successfully.

Beyond this crucial information, Forecast Towers in Fortnite can also be used to complete challenges and earn XP. This mechanic is worth learning, considering how valuable Storm Circle information is in Fortnite.

Weather is a dynamically shifting gameplay mechanic within each match of Battle Royale. Weather is split two types:

Weather Events [ ]

Weather Events are localised and randomised events which can happen multiple times a match, but only in one location at a time. Currently there are only two weather events, these being Tornadoes and Lightning Storms.

Visual Weather [ ]

Visual Weather is a type of weather in which the only change is the aesthetic of the map, with restrictions to visibility. These will occur across the entire map at once, and will either appear during specific in game events, or periodically in normal matches.

Tornado [ ]

Tornadoes take twenty-five seconds to form and will last roughly eight minutes. Tornadoes will suck up and throw props around the environment, similar to how they can be moved with a Grab-itron or Saucer , and will pull nearby players into it and upwards, allowing for Glider Redeploy . Tornadoes are localized and will slowly move across the map.

Lightning Storm [ ]

Lightning Storms take eight seconds to form and will last roughly three minutes. Webs of lightnings will occasionally appear on the ground shortly before a lightning strikes from the stormy clouds. Players will take 10 damage if they are struck by a lightning, but gain a movement speed boost when hit. It can strike 2-3 players at once. Players are more likely to get struck by a lighting when on a high area or when swimming. Lightning Storms will also create fire .

Fog was first seen in Chapter 2: Season 8, as a periodic weather change which affected the whole island at once. Fog makes visibility difficult, but does not change any gameplay mechanics. It will dissipate after a short time.

Blizzard [ ]

Blizzards have only appeared during the 2019 iteration of Winterfest . They functioned very similar to fog, appearing across the entire island at once and dissipating after a short time.

Permanent Fog [ ]

Permanent Fogs have appeared several times in different Fortnite events. Fortnitemares 2020 , for example, had a thick purple Fog across the entire island for the entirety of the event, but only during night time.

• Update v6.00 : The entire Island is covered in a mist during Season 6 and made it slightly more difficult to see.
• Update v6.20 : The mist got thicker and turned into a fog for the start of Fortnitemares , making it significantly harder to see.
• Post- Butterfly Event : Fog has dissipated.

Season 7 [ ]

• Ice Storm : Fog returns for the period of the event.

Chapter 2: Season 1 [ ]

• Update v11.30 ( Winterfest 2019 ): Introduced Blizzards. They will appear at random and get more intense as the days pass, they'll apply to the entire island at once. They will also dissipate at random.
• End of Winterfest : Removed Blizzards.

Chapter 2: Season 4 [ ]

• Fortnitemares 2020: Midas' Revenge : Fog returns with a dark purple color. It only appears at night.

Chapter 2: Season 8 [ ]

• Update v18.00 : Fog returns, with it being dynamic and randomly appearing and dissipating throughout the match.

Chapter 3: Season 1 [ ]

• Update v19.00 : Fog slightly altered, changing its color from white to more blue.
• The maximum amount of vehicles that can be present in a tornado has been increased from 1 to 2.
• The maximum amount of physics objects in a tornado have been increased from 50 to 75.
• Tornado chance increased from 80% to 100%, meaning each game will have at least one tornado.
• Tornadoes can now spawn in first 6 storms circles , previously 5.
• Delays between a new Tornado reduced from 3 minutes to 2 minutes.
• Delays between a new Lightning storm reduced from 3 minutes to 2 minutes.
• 17th January 2022 : Tornadoes spawn less frequently.

Chapter 3: Season 2 [ ]

• Update v20.00 : Removed Tornadoes and Lightning Storms.

Chapter 3: Season 3 [ ]

• Update v21.00 : Re-added Tornadoes. Tornadoes are now marked on the map with a small icon.

Chapter 3: Season 4 [ ]

• (09/28/22) : Fog has been removed.

Chapter 4: Season 2 [ ]

• Update v24.00 : Added Rain in MEGA City .

Chapter 4: Season 3 [ ]

• Update v24.00 : Added Rain in Jungle Biome .
• Some locations such as Misty Meadows had visible mist in the area. This was not as thick as a fog, but noticeable as the mist was localised to that area only.
• Tornadoes were likely removed in Chapter 3: Season 2 due to the IO Airships across the map. If a Tornado were to interact with these floating landmarks, they would likely cause issues as many parts of the structure would ignore the Tornado.
• A tornado will actually suck up the Loot Shark from the water if it comes close enough.

All Fortnite Postcard Tour Trials Quests Locations

There are a total of fifteen quests that you must complete in the Postcard Tour Trials, here is a list of all the challenges in this Trials quest:

• Emote inside the Shogun hologram
• Emote on the barge
• Emote at a Hot Spring
• Emote near the Herald Tree
• Emote near the Clock Tower
• Travel 2,500m distance in between Named Locations
• Travel 5,000m distance in between Named Locations
• Travel 7,500m distance in between Named Locations
• Travel 10,000m distance in between Named Locations
• Travel 12,500m distance in between Named Locations

In the city, there is a masked warrior made of light

MEGA City is home to plenty of neon advertisements and holograms, but you might have noticed the Shogun hologram floating above the bridge on the east side of the city. This is the "masked warrior" this challenge hints at.

Land on this bridge or climb up to it using the Grind Rails. Stand on the disc beneath the Shogun hologram, and then use any Emote.

These boats bring cargo...

Have you toured around MEGA City's harbor before? Then you might have noticed the barge that sits out on the bay, just south of MEGA City .

You can use the ziplines on the east or south shore to reach the barge south of MEGA City, or simply do as the fishes do and swim out to the ship. Once atop the barge, use any Emote to complete the second stage of this challenge.

Swim where the waters heal...

Is there anything quite as relaxing as lounging in a hot spring? Well, the Steamy Springs of the MEGA City locale in Fortnite aren't just relaxing. By stepping inside, you will slowly begin to regain health and shields.

Visit Steamy Springs just southwest of MEGA City and step into any of the four hot springs there. Once you are ankle deep in these steamy waters, use any Emote to complete this next challenge.

There's a tree where the three seasons collide...

In this season of Chapter 4, Battle Royale has been split up into four seasonal biomes: spring, summer, winter, and fall. You might have noticed that there is a part of Battle Royale Island where three of those seasonal biomes collide. What you might not have known is that the withered old tree that sits on that point is called the " Herald Tree ".

Walk up to the old withered tree at this location directly east of Anvil Square and Emote near the Herald Tree to complete this stage of the challenge.

In the ice cave, look for the tower...

It's a bit tucked away, but northwest of Brutal Bastion there is a giant cave carved out of the ice . You can enter these ice caves from a couple different angles (including a slipstream), and inside the ice cave you will find a Clock Tower .

Climb atop the plateau of ice to stand next to the Clock Tower, and Emote to complete this final sightseeing task.

Travel a total of 12,500m distance in between Named Locations

With these five different secret locations discovered in Battle Royale Island, the only task left to complete to check off the Postcard Tour Trials quests is to travel a total of 12,500m distance between Named Locations .

The easiest way to accomplish this goal is by driving! Hop into a vehicle and make your way between different Named Locations until you have travelled a total of 12,500m. You are guarenteed to find some vehicles when dropping at Drift Ridge (north of MEGA City) or any of the gas stations on Battle Royale Island.

Fortnite Postcard Tour Trials quests: How to solve them

"In the city, there is a masked warrior made of lights," "These boats bring cargo," and more explained

The Fortnite Postcard Tour quests mark a departure from the usual assignments received in the battle royale, as instead of setting specific targets they instead provide cryptic clues for where you need to go. If you can't find these particular Fortnite quests in your game, it's because they only appear once you've completed the initial four sets of Trials quests, and as those are particularly time-consuming you may not have got through them all yet. Still, once you unlock them you may need help finding a masked warrior made of lights, boats that bring cargo, and more, so here's everything you need to know to complete the Postcard Tour in Fortnite.

Where to go for the Postcard Tour in Fortnite

There are a total of five different locations you need to visit for the Fortnite Postcard Tour, which are marked on the map above as follows:

In the city, there is a masked warrior made of lights

These boats bring cargo, swim where the water heals, there's a tree where the three seasons collide, in the ice cave, look for the tower.

If you're looking for further details on how to decipher all of these clues, and what to do when you arrive at the locations, then there are individual breakdowns for each of them below.

To kick things off, you need to visit the giant Shogun hologram found on a bridge to the east side of Mega City. To get up to the bridge, there's a zipline on either side of the river or you can leap off the nearby grind rail, then you need to emote inside the Shogun hologram by standing near the projection base.

Heading to the large lake just south of Mega City, there's a large container ship marked on the map, which you can either swim out to or ride one of several ziplines to reach. Once on board, you need to emote on a barge by performing your best moves on deck.

If you've previously visited the Fortnite Hot Springs then you should be familiar with this next location already, as you'll find water that heals at the spa in the middle of Steamy Springs. Once you arrive and swim in the water, you just need to emote at a Hot Spring to tick another quest off your list.

For the next part you need to head towards the center of the island, as a little to the east of Anvil Square you'll find a tree incorporating a carving of the Herald. Emote near the Herald Tree, and you'll only have one more step to go.

Finally, to the northwest of Brutal Bastion near Solitary Shrine you'll find Cold Cavern, an underground ice cave with – you guessed it – a clock tower inside. Emote near the Clock Tower and you'll have completed all five of the Fortnite Postcard Tour quests with cryptic clues – congratulations!

Fortnite: Lantern Fest Event Guide

Fortnite hosts several events throughout the year so that fans can enjoy and commemorate every important celebration and holiday on their calendar. In February, they released the Guardian Lin skin to celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Dragon. Now, it is time to cheer for the Lantern Festival.

Fortnite: Chapter 5 Season 2 NPC Locations

This guide will tell players everything they need to know about the 2024 Lantern Fest celebrations in Fortnite so that they can make sure they don't miss out on anything.

Lantern Fest Event Start & End Dates

The Fortnite Lantern Fest event runs from March 10 at 12 PM ET until April 10 at 12 PM ET . So, players who are worried about missing out on the festivities can sit back and relax, as they have a full month to join in on the fun.

Last year, players got to play on the Lantern Fest Tour Creative Island and complete challenges for satisfying rewards. This year there's a brand-new island to try out. Players can enter the Lantern Fest Oasis map by using island code 5629-9147-3382 . Here, they will be able to complete challenges in exchange for experience points.

More games and challenges will become available on the island, as the Lantern Festival event progresses.

At the moment, Epic Games mentioned if any free goodies will be given to those who participate in the event, so the only reward gamers should expect is some XP, which isn't all that bad considering many players are trying to unlock the first few pages of the Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass .

Anwar and Noorah Lantern Fest Skins

The previously leaked Anwar and Noorah skins will be making their way into the Item Shop during the Lantern Fest event. The mysterious duo didn't make their way into the Item Shop when the event launched but they might come around a few times during the month that it is live.

At the moment, the price for these skins has not been revealed. Epic Games has only mentioned that those who get the Anwar skin will receive the Moonlit Blades back bling and those who purchase the Noorah skin will receive the Lunar Lantern back bling ; both skins include detailed LEGO Fortnite style skins.

Gamers can also expect SypherPK to return to the Item Shop. On top of this, SirSANX has created his own locker bundle, and it'll be making an appearance in the Item Shop during the Lantern Fest.

Fortnite Avatar update patch notes (v29.20): Event Pass, Mythics, and Rocket Racing season one

The 29.20 update for  Fortnite  is live, bringing multiple new additions to the game, including the long-awaited A vatar: The Last Airbender  collaboration. Here’s everything you can expect to see in  Fortnite  v29.20.

Keep in mind that the following patch notes are based on what’s already available in  Fortnite  alongside multiple rumors and leaks.

Avatar: The Last Airbender skins and Event Pass

One of the biggest additions to Fortnite in 29.20 is the new Avatar skins and an upcoming Avatar event . In the Item Shop, we can expect to see Katara, Toph, and Zuko outfits alongside their back blings and pickaxes. These outfits will cost 2,000 V-Bucks each.

There will also be an Avatar Event Pass—a small standalone battle pass like the ones we’ve seen in previous seasons featuring Star Wars and TMNT . The Avatar Event Pass will feature two Aang skins, his back bling, a pickaxe, and several more smaller cosmetics. The Appa glider should also become available at some point during the update.

Avatar: The Last Airbender Mythics

Joining the Waterbending Mythic , there are all the remaining bending abilities from Avatar : Earthbending, Firebending, and Airbending . All the bending Mythic items can now be found on dedicated podiums. Each of them has a unique use rather than just attacking enemies.

Firebending allows you to throw fire waves at enemies and perform a jump attack. Airbending allows you to move incredibly fast across the island. And with Earthbending, you can create barricades from stone.

Rocket Racing season one

In the 29.20 update, Rocket Racing is kicking off its first ranked season . The neon-themed season brings new quest rewards, cosmetics, five new official tracks, and several creator-made maps.

With the new season comes a rank reset . Your new starting rank will be based on the rank you had before the update. If you finished at a high rank, you may start the season in Silver, Gold, or other ranks rather than at Bronze. The rank system also received tweaks in terms of progress gains, so you can expect the climb to be less grindy .

Shop and locker changes

A few small changes have been made to the Item Shop and the locker . From now on, skins no longer have colors and tags for cosmetic quality , like Epic, Legendary, etc. The only tags left are the Series, like the Icon Series or Gaming Legends Series.

Finally, the Item Shop will show the Shop rotation time in every player’s unique time zone. In late May, every item in the Shop will also have a planned date for when every individual item will rotate out of the Shop.
