The Spirit Cruise wedding planner is very professional and the Ship puts on a very nice wedding and reception! I was very happy to be part of a wedding for this Ship!
Spirit Cruises is a fantastic venue for Weddings, School Outings and Corporate Events. The staff is fun, friendly and professional. Enjoy Baltimore by water, while dining on sumptuous fare. We have been working with Spirit for years now, and our clients are continually impressed with the level of service and just how much fun they had aboard!
We can't wait to have another opportunity to photograph on one of your yatchs, how breathatking it is to have the visuals of the Chesapeake waterway and the bay. Outstanding as a venue for the couple who must have their photos on the water and the bay. As always the staff was top notch. MorningStar Photography

Came here for a bachelorette/bachelor party. We were a group of 16 that came on Saturday afternoon. It was a huge boat so you could barely feel any rocking from the water. All types of ages and people were on this lunch cruise. We got two separate tables next to each other. The lunch cruise was set up buffet style. We were called up in groups to get our food. I tried the pasta salad, salmon, oven roasted veggies, corn, and brownie. Everything was ok. This was a 3.5 star experience for me. I think being on water is what made it special. When you first get on the boat, you are sent to your seat to sit and have to wait for their safety briefing before you can go on the second level. While we waited to be called up for the buffet, we were handed a sheet to fill out for any music requests. The DJ did a special shoutout for the bride and groom of our party. After some food, we went up to the deck to enjoy the view. It was a bit hot, but there was a section for shade. We took some great pictures and enjoyed our time on the water. I'm glad it lasted as long as it did. It wasn't too short or too long.
It's sooo not worth it!! We paid for many upgrades and we were completely disappointed. Don't get the drink package because you will never get your drinks. Don't waste money on priority seating because it will get you a small table under the stairs next to the kitchen. Don't waste your money on included photos because they are not real photographers that would know to take more than one angle. Finally, if I had known that the window would be so dirty you could barely see, I wouldn't have reserved it at all. It's rain or shine so if you go when it's raining and can't see anything, it's not their problem, just yours. It was our 25th wedding anniversary, and I felt like we got robbed. I see that you responded as if you care. If you really cared, you would refund the extras and not allow people to purchase them going forward, at least not until you've corrected your staffing problems.
Streaks are not from the rain. At the time this was taken the rain hadn't started.

Hi Lisa, we're sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. We appreciate your feedback regarding the drink package, priority seating, and included photos. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the window's cleanliness. We'll take your comments into consideration for future improvements.
Bad experience with my wedding from City Cruises Baltimore. We booked the wedding date approximately three months before the wedding. We were not told there would be a marathon and running festival in downtown Baltimore that would close the majority of streets needed to access the boat and general area and severely limit parking on the same date and time. We were informed of this only five days before our wedding. I would not have booked that date knowing how much more difficult it would be for our 70 guests to arrive. I spent around 15 hours across the five days before my wedding calling the marathon organizers (six separate conversations) and area hotels and parking garages because City Cruises did not take the initiative to find this out. We had a dozen or so elderly guests with limited mobility that because of marathon road closures had to walk long distances to the boat and a few arrived in great pain. In addition, they had to wait a long time to board the boat, in the rain, despite that we were told we could have early boarding due to the inconvenience. I was told there would be a room for the bride and party to get dressed, but it was a dirty storage room with huge windows with view of the outside dock where people could see me getting dressed. In addition, they did not help us stick to our schedule so we had almost no dancing time as planned, the DJ did not play most of the songs we request in advance and played his own choices. I asked in advance where the ceremony backdrop would be if we needed to have the ceremony inside the boat instead of on the upper, open deck. I was told the altar would be in front of the staircase, but this wasn't the case. I only found out when I walked down the aisle that the ceremony was in front of the DJ booth. We requested a partial refund and got absolutely nothing discounted. We did not get any compensations, extras or even any admission that they were at fault. We could have been offered an open bar, for example or a better food package, longer cruise time, something. I would have not written negative reviews if they had even attempted to make right on poor customer experiences.
We went on the midnight cruise which was very nice but there are a couple things that need to be addressed to make it better. We did not receive the full menu and the dj catered to a large size party onboard vs everyone musical taste. I also believe this cruise could be 3 hrs instead of 2 to fully enjoy seeing sights and dancing.
So this was my first time on the city cruise in Baltimore I was really disappointed the cruise ship needs a complete remodel the rug and the interior looks so dirty. The service was really bad we order 2 soda and one mixed drink and it took 30 minutes to arrive the girl said they were 20 tickets deep unacceptable Plus the people next to use received there appetizer after they got there food. No one came to check to see if we need refills on are drink and I was thirsty. The staff was really nice but they are not polished for a dinner cruise, one had ripped jeans on and hair not done, when you spend your money for a dinner cruise you expect the staff in a polished dresses code. The music was good but no dance floor. I gave them 1 star because the food was really good.
Food wasn't delicious and staff is not well trained or professional The only thing that saves the cruise are the views.
Went on a cruise on Sunday, August 29, 2022. Boarding was not a good experience as the way you board boat is via a ramp which has a very steep incline for mobility challenged passengers. We had a few people in wheelchairs who had to be pushed in their wheelchairs by three male crew members because the ramp incline was so steep. This is something I hope the cruise line will address, the incline of the boarding ramp was not only difficult for passengers boarding and leaving the boat but also the crew. The rest of the experience was fine, the crew was friendly and accommodating and the food was good. We were on the main level, the seating was a little tight, but overall we had a great time and would re-book again for next year (hoping that the ramp and boarding situation has improved).
Happy Easter 2019! We were here for the Easter Brunch. The food was good. We caught the early riser brunch. It included Breakfast and lunch entree. They also had the Easter Bunny there for the kiddies. This is my first time on this particular cruise. I usually cruise with The Spirit Of Baltimore. This boat is very similar. Which also has three levels. The third being the best views ever. They also have music and games on the Upper level. Our server Samiya constantly checked on us to make sure we were ok. The boat itself was a smaller than the Spirit of Baltimore but we still had a great time. The Bartender made the perfect drinks and the DJ had the dance floor jumping for those who dared. Of course I was one of those daring to dance. My husband loves to dance as well. Give him some music and he's ready to take off lol. The cruise was two hours long. My how time fly when you're having fun. You also get a free Premium drink for checking in thru Yelp. Overall we really enjoyed our cruise & Brunch. I would like to do another brunch some time in the future. Very Nice selection of food. Also don't forget if you park in the parking garage called Harbor Court. Located at 30 E Lee St. You only pay $8.00 to park with their validation ticket that they give you upon leaving. That saved us a lot because otherwise it would have been $28.00. We all know how expensive parking can be in Baltimore.

Very inconsiderate company. I had Covid and couldn't make the trip. They refused to give me a refund
All Sprint boats are closed for the season!!! They are still selling the tickets online (bought 2 tickets) however you will be disappointed to find out they are all close!!! Few other boats are still operating, be careful before you purchase the tickets and make plans. I wish I could give zero stars to Sprint boats.

City politics | norfolk cruise center getting multiple upgrades ahead of year-round traffic.
NORFOLK — City Council voted Tuesday to approve enhancements to the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center in anticipation of becoming a year-round cruise destination in 2025.
The changes are huge, said Stephen Kirkland, who runs the cruise terminal as the executive director of Nauticus.
“A cruise ship will be here every single week, embarking and debarking passengers, and we need to be prepared for that heightened activity,” Kirkland said.
Starting Feb. 15, Carnival Sunshine will begin its weekly cruises leaving from Norfolk. The 12-deck ship is 893 feet long and can carry over 3,000 passengers — leading to a turnover of more than 6,000 people when the ship is at full capacity, setting sail and returning in a single day.
Modifications to the terminal include expanding the walkway from Waterside Drive , adding a circular drop-off lane, a revised bus lane and canopies for passengers — changes that will enhance pedestrian and vehicle circulation downtown. The city earmarked $12 million for the project.
The most advantageous change, according to Kirkland, is a sloped walkway from the first to second floor that will allow guests exiting the ship to move quickly downstairs to go through customs, collect their luggage and make their way to the ground transportation loop.
“The quicker and more efficient we can be with that process, the better the whole day is,” Kirkland said. “That allows us to embark sooner which allows that ship to set sail on time.”
Currently, there’s one elevator, one escalator and a set of stairs connecting the first and second floor.
Construction on the enhancements is due to begin in June, but additional cruise traffic from ships diverted by the Francis Scott Key bridge collapse in Baltimore has added complications: the terminal was supposed to be closed for 14 months at the conclusion of the 2023 season.
Those ships originally bound for Baltimore will not delay the construction schedule, Kirkland said. Half Moone cruise terminal had a “window” during which it was able to support Royal Caribbean and Carnival with diverted ships, but those ships will not continue to arrive after construction begins in June.
With Norfolk set to become a year-round home port for the world’s largest cruise line, passengers are anticipated to travel from across the country to catch their ship. That brings economic impact in the form of more flights to Norfolk, hotel stays the night before and after the voyage, restaurants, transportation and more.
“That’s a big deal for us as a community. It’s a game changer,” Kirkland said.
