Hatboro Summer Nights: Cruise Night

The Hatboro Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Cruise Night and Food Drive along York Road on May 20, 2022 from 5 PM to 9 PM. Bring out your classic car for a cruise or walk up and down main street to enjoy all of the cruisers, local shops, and eateries!

Hatboro Holds First Of Five Cruise Nights: PHOTOS

HATBORO, PA —York Road is pretty crowded during normal business hours.

But Friday night, the downtown district had a flurry of activity and cars and vehicles that looked a little different than the normal street fare.

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce held the first of five monthly "Cruising for a Cause" Cruise Nights Friday with more planned through September on the third Friday of every month.

Residents lined York Road once the cruise began at 5:30 p.m. to watch Hot Rods, cars, trucks, and motorcycles drive up and down the street for several hours.

See the chamber's Facebook post for many of the motorists who participated in the event and the vehicles they drove.

Silvio's Deli & Tosco's Pizza also displayed photos.

FOOD DRIVE/CRUISE NIGHT Back for another year our favorite "Cruising the Boro" Hatboro was one of the biggest cruising towns on the East Coast was featured in several magazines and news articles. The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce has voted to host Five (5) cruise nights this year 3rd Friday of Month May thru September! Time to bring out your Hot Rods, Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles to cruise the town. There is no designated turn around areas - so turn around at some old familiar spots or create some one news. Look for old friends and meet some new ones - This is a drop in event, no registrations needed! The Hatboro Farmer's Market will be open with one way into the Market and one way out. Hatboro Cruiser's and The Greater Hatboro Chamber work together on hosting these events so that we can fill the FOOD PANTRIES with much needed food for families and children. A few items requested: Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Meat Vegetables, Tomato Sauce, Pasta, Canned or Dry Soups, Pasta, Sloppy Joe, Beef Stew etc along with Personal Care Items. If you do not bring a bag of non-perishable food for donation they will gladly take monetary donations. - ONLY STREET LEGAL VEHICLES ARE. PERMITTED - Someone will be at Reid Repairs located at the corner of York Road & Moreland Avenues to collect your donation NO BURN OUTS! Please feel free to share this invite! Hatboro cruise night set for friday, here's what you need to know about the upcoming hatboro cruise night..

HATBORO, PA — Hatboro's Cruise Night is here. The event will take place on Friday night, June 23, along York Road.

It's set to begin at 6 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m.

Here's what the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce had to say about the event:

Find out what's happening in Hatboro-Horsham with free, real-time updates from Patch.

"Come take a cruise down memory Lane.Come and Cruise Hatboro like it was done in the 60's and 70's. Not a cruiser - come and bring a lawn chair and watch the fun, many eateries will host special menu's for this evening. At the corner of Moreland and Yo rk Road we will provide the music from the past - our very own "Gary the DJ". There is will be a non-perishable food collection at the corner of Moreland and York Roads to benefit the food pantries of Hatboro".

No road closures are planned for the event, and additional traffic is expected in the area.

Street legal vehicles are welcome in the event.

Motorists in the area should be aware of increased pedestrian traffic and drive with caution, police said.
