Demi Lovato Schedules First North American Tour in Four Years Supporting ‘Holy Fvck’

After four years off the road, Demi Lovato is plotting an extensive tour of North and South America in support of their forthcoming eighth studio album Holy Fvck , out Aug. 19.

“I’m so excited to get back on the road after four years without touring, and even longer since I’ve toured in South America,” Lovato shared in a statement. “We’re working so hard to deliver an incredible show for all my fans and I can’t wait to see them in person to celebrate this new music.”

The Holy Fvck tour will launch first with its South American leg in late August with shows across Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile before officially picking up in North America at the Hard Rock Live Sacramento in Wheatland, California on Sept. 22.

Lovato has stops scheduled for Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Denver, Philadelphia, Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans, Houston, and more. The tour will wrap in Irving, Texas on Nov. 6.

Tickets for the Holy Fvck tour will go on sale beginning Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. local time via the official Demi Lovato website. DEAD SARA and Royal & The Serpent will join the singer as support on select North American dates.

Lovato’s most recent album era Dancing with the Devil … The Art of Starting Over concluded without a supporting tour. The Holy Fvck tour will be their first time back on the road since making their pivot back to rock-driven music, leaving endless possibilities for an extensive setlist spanning their eight-album discography.

“The process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet, and I’m grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me,” Lovato shared in a recent statement announcing the album. “Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself.”

Demi Lovato Announces Their Highly Anticipated ‘Holy Fvck’ Fall Tour

Today, GRAMMY-nominated artist, Demi Lovato , has announced their upcoming HOLY FVCK fall tour, named after their upcoming eighth studio album, which will arrive on August 19, 2022. Produced by Live Nation, the 32-date tour kicks off on Tuesday, August 30th in São Paulo, Brazil at Espaço das Américas before making stops across South and North America in Belo Horizonte, Bogotá, San Francisco, Montreal, Nashville and more before wrapping up in Irving, TX at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on Sunday, November 6th. For the North American leg of the tour, there will be support from DEAD SARA and Royal & The Serpent on select dates.

Holy Fvck,  the follow-up to 2021’s Dancing With the Devil…The Art of Starting Over is out August 19 via Island Records.

The lead single from the new album is called “Skin of My Teeth,” which is out this Friday, June 10. Yesterday, Lovato also unveiled the Holy Fvck album trailer and cover.

Holy Fvck will include 16 songs. In a statement, Lovato said: “The process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet, and I’m grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me. Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself. Demi Lovato Announces the ‘HOLY FVCK’ Tour—Their First Tour in Four Years

Demi Lovato just announced their anticipated fall tour for their new album HOLY FVCK. The album is out on August 19 and will kick off the stretch of the tour. ​​

To celebrate tickets going on sale for the tour, they will be performing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 9. General admission and VIP tickets go on sale Friday, June 10 at 10 am central time. 

The 32-date trek will run throughout the Americas beginning in South America. Lovato commented on the tour saying, “I’m so excited to get back on the road after four years without touring, and even longer since I’ve toured in South America. We’re working so hard to deliver an incredible show for all my fans and I can’t wait to see them in person to celebrate this new music.”

The HOLY FVCK tour will venture for five shows in South America beginning in Brazil and ending in Chile on September 13. Joining Lovato as supporting acts will be DEAD SARA or Royal & The Serpent. The tour picks up in the U.S. on September 22 at the Hard Rock Live Sacramento venue in Wheatland, California. You can see the “Cool for the Summer” singer in Nashville at the Ryman on October 25. Demi fans are being treated to two major updates from the singer — and that’s saying a lot for a singer who’s famously in the media for a slew of bizarre antics like saying “aliens” is a “derogatory term for extra-terrestrials,” or for pedaling fake Egyptian antiquities . But for now, it’s all about the music for Demi. The singer is following in the footsteps of Avril Lavigne and Olivia Rodrigo (who also followed in the footsteps of Lavigne), and is coming out with their very own pop punk album: HOLY FVCK , which arrives later this summer.

The album makes the first release since 2021’s Dancing With The Devil , and Lovato says it’s been their most fulfilling album experience yet.

“The process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet and I’m grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me. Never have I been more sure of myself and my music and this record speaks that for itself,” Lovato said in a statement. “To my Lovatics who have been rocking out with me since the beginning and those who are just now coming along for the ride, thank you. This record is for you.”

In a peculiar rollout, the album doesn’t release until after the tour starts. Demi’s tour kicks off August 13, while HOLY FVCK is slated to drop August 19. So all the “Lovatics” (is this real?!) out there will simply have to trust Demi’s pop-punk vision.

And we’ll get to hear some of the new music soon. Demi’s first single, “Skin of My Teeth,” drops June 10, and they’ll perform it live on The Tonight Show on June 9. The singer posted a sneak peek of the video on Instagram that shows a collage of grainy film videos showing Demi in the studio and writing songs amidst an earworm belted chorus: “I’m alive by the skin of my teeth / I survived when it got harder to breathe.”

Fresh off the heels of her 2021 album, " Dancing With the Devil . . . the Art of Starting Over ," Demi Lovato is diving into summer with a new album titled "Holy Fvck." On June 6, just over a year after their last studio release, Lovato confirmed that their eighth album, led by the single "Skin of My Teeth," will be dropping just in time to add to our summer playlists.

"The process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet, and I'm grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me," Lovato said in a press release. "Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself. To my Lovatics who have been rocking out with me since the beginning and those who are just now coming along for the ride, thank you. This record is for you."

In January, Lovato staged a "funeral " for her pop era, indicating that she would be leaving the genre behind in favor of pursuing more punk- and rock-inspired influences. Promotional photos for the upcoming release also feature the singer dripping in spikes and chains and sporting a rock-star mullet while soaking in the bathtub.

On June 6, Lovato shared the cover art for their upcoming album, which features her tangled in a net of bondage-style straps on top of a cross-shaped pillow. Their hair is styled in an inky-black mullet that matches her thick eyeshadow, and the red latex bodysuit underneath the mess of belts perfectly complements the blood-red backdrop. Compared to Lovato's previous album covers, which commonly feature a close-up of their face against a light-colored backdrop, the new image is much edgier.

In a tweet posted on June 4, they announced that "Skin of My Teeth," the first single off of their new "Holy Fvck" album, will drop on June 10. "I'm just trying to keep my head above water / I'm your son and I'm your daughter / I'm your mother I'm your father / I'm just a product of the problem," Lovato captioned the tweet, sharing a glimpse at the song's lyrics. Lovato will also be performing the new track on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" on June 9, one day before its official release.

The video features flashes of the recording process, jumping from the studio to a shot of Lovato looking gloomy in the bathtub. During the trailer, she also shared a glimpse of the lyrics to the album's title track in the Notes app of their phone. "I'm the serpent in a garden / I am truth and I am darkness / I'm an angel and I'm a demon / Just depends on what you're feeling," the note reads, giving us another taste of what to expect once the full album is released.

Demi Lovato has officially kicked off the HOLY FVCK tour this weekend and her setlist covers everything from forthcoming tracks to some of her very first tracks as an artist. On Saturday, August 13th, Demi took the stage at the Illinois State Fairgrounds and fans took to social media to share footage from the unforgettable night.

Dressed in a plaid skirt and a stylishly disheveled white dress shirt, the singer opened her show with two yet-to-be-released tracks, the titular "HOLY FVCK," "FREAK," and "EAT ME." Later in the set, Demi gave fans more songs from her upcoming album including "4 EVER 4 ME," "CITY OF ANGELS," the previously teased "29 ," and "HAPPY ENDING." Fans will be able to hear all of these songs when Demi drops her highly-anticipated album HOLY FVCK on August 19th .

In addition to the new songs, Demi also took it all the way back to her Disney days by performing the tracks "Here We Go Again," "La La Land," "Remember December," and "Don't Forget." There were even a few covers perfect for her new punk rock era, which fans have dubbed "Rockvato," including "La La" by Ashlee Simpson and "Iris," by The Goo Goo Dolls .

To round out the setlist, Demi also gave some of her previous pop hits "Sorry Not Sorry," "Heart Attack," and "Cool for the Summer," a rock twist.

Demi Lovato Announces New Album 'HOLY FVCK' and Tour: 'Never Have I Been More Sure of Myself and My Music'

Demi Lovato 's punk-rock era is finally here!

On Monday, the "Sorry Not Sorry" hitmaker announced their eighth studio album, HOLY FVCK , will be released Aug. 19 via Island Records, marking a return to the pop-punk and rock sounds present throughout their early work.

"The process of making this album has been the most fulfilling yet, and I'm grateful to my fans and collaborators for being on this journey with me," said Lovato, 29, in a press statement about the album, which is available for pre-order in CD, vinyl, and cassette formats.

"Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself," they explained of the forthcoming 16-track album, their first full-length body of work since 2021's Dancing with the Devil… The Art of Starting Over .

"To my Lovatics who have been rocking out with me since the beginning and those who are just now coming along for the ride, thank you," concluded Lovato's statement. "This record is for you."

Shortly following the album announcement, Lovato announced a fall tour in support of HOLY FVCK featuring special guests DEAD SARA and Royal & The Serpent on Tuesday.

"I'm so excited to get back on the road after four years without touring, and even longer since I've toured in South America," said Lovato in a press statement.

"We're working so hard to deliver an incredible show for all my fans and I can't wait to see them in person to celebrate this new music," they continued.

Kicking off August 13 at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield, Illinois, the 32-date tour will see the musician perform at venues throughout North and South America including the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil, MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park in Boston, Beacon Theatre in New York City, and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville before wrapping November 6 at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas.

Citi cardmembers can access presale tickets from Tuesday, June 7 at 12pm local time until Thursday, June 9 at 10pm local time. General tickets and VIP packages go on sale Friday, June 10 at 10am local time. More information regarding tickets as well as the complete list of dates are available at Lovato's website .

Last month, Lovato announced a new single titled "Skin of My Teeth," which will be released alongside a music video on Friday — the day after its debut performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon .

Produced by Warren "Oak" Felder and co-written by Lovato, Alex Nicefro, Keith Sorrells, Laura Veltz, and Aaron Puckett (a.k.a. lil aaron), the former Camp Rock star has recently teased several lyrics from "Skin of My Teeth" on social media.

"I'm just trying to keep my head above water / I'm your son and I'm your daughter / I'm your mother, I'm your father / I'm just a product of the problem," they wrote on Twitter June 4 alongside several promotional photos and the single's pre-order link.

The "Stone Cold" singer previously offered fans a glimpse of what was to come on their Instagram Story, writing that they were "so proud" of their forthcoming new album.

"Getting emotional listening to my new album because I'm so proud of it," they wrote. "It's my absolute best yet and so representative of me, where I started and who I am today."

They continued, "Yesterday I posted a song called 'Happy Ending' and even tho I wrote this in an incredibly dark place, I'm so grateful I'm no longer in that low, cold and lonely place... I'm sure that no matter what happens in my life...my happy ending is never having to fall into old habits again."

The star implied that the release would usher in a new era for them after they posted a photo with several friends dressed in black in January.

"A funeral for my pop music," Lovato captioned the photo, which featured them giving the camera two middle fingers.

They later told Rolling Stone that fans can expect to hear some "heaviness" in their new sound.

"It's a new era reminiscent of my first era," they said. "I'm ever-evolving, ever-changing. I'd like to put the rest of my music behind me and start fresh in this new era for this next album — but I do that every album cycle."

Holy Fvck, Demi Is Taking Their New Pop-Punk Album On Tour

The day has finally arrived: Demi Lovato has officially gone (back to) pop-punk. On June 6, the singer (who uses they/them and she/her pronouns) announced she’s dropping their eighth album, Holy Fvck, later this year. The next day, they announced fall tour dates across the United States and South America. These are the updates Lovatics have waited for, and it’s so good to have them.

Last month, Lovato previewed their new single “Skin of My Teeth” and announced the single’s June 10 release. Lovato debuted an edgier, leather-inspired new look , and she’s keeping the goth vibes on Holy Fvck. The album cover features Lovato laying on a stained bed shaped like a cross while tied in what looks to be black straps up and down their body. There’s also a lot of red (perhaps a symbol for blood?) in the photo, including Lovato in an apparent red bodysuit. The image appears akin to an emo Crucifixion of Jesus.

Of course, as anyone who grew up watching Sonny with a Chance and Camp Rock after school on the Disney Channel will tell you, this is not Lovato’s first foray into pop-punk. Their debut 2008 album, Don’t Forget , and 2009 follow-up, Here We Go Agin , embraced pop-rock influences.

With Lovato (finally) back in their pop-punk era, here’s everything to know about Holy Fvck before it arrives and makes me grow out emo bangs.

Holy Fvck Release Date

According to a press release, Holy Fvck will be released on Aug. 19, and holy f*ck that’s so soon.

Holy Fvck Tracklist

Lovato hasn’t announced the tracklist for Holy Fvck ; however, the press release states it will be a 16-track record.

The lead single, “Skin of My Teeth,” will drop on June 10. A day earlier, Lovato will perform the single on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She teased snippets of the song on Instagram and TikTok in the past few weeks. The press releases states the song will showcase their “multi-faceted artistry and powerhouse vocals.”

Holy Fvck Tour Dates

On June 7, just a day after announcing her new album, Lovato revealed they’re going on a Holy Fvck tour this fall. With supporting acts such as Dead Sara and Royal & The Serpent accompanying them in select cities, the tour has 31 dates stretching across North America, Canada, and a brief swath of South America.

The set of shows will kick off in Springfield, Illinois, at the Illinois State Fare on August 13. Lovato will end the tour in Irving, Texas at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on November 6. Check out the long list of dates and cities below.

According to a press release, tickets go on sale on Friday, June 10, on DemiLovato.com. Presale tickets are currently available for Citi cardmembers.

What’s Demi Saying About Holy Fvck?

The press release also states that Lovato will be offering an “earnest yet tongue-in-cheek retrospective.” How that will influence their sound, which appears to be rougher than her “Heartache” and “Cool for the Summer” days, is still unclear.

In a statement, Lovato called making Holy Fvck her “most fulfilling” album yet. “Never have I been more sure of myself and my music, and this record speaks that for itself,” they said. “To my Lovatics who have been rocking out with me since the beginning and those who are just now coming along for the ride, thank you. This record is for you.”

Holy Fvck Teasers

On June 6, Lovato released their latest teaser for the new era, which included footage from what appears to be both the “Skin of My Teeth” music video and behind-the-scenes moments.

This followed a series of rollout videos, including a TikTok from June 5 that seems to summarize Lovato’s mindset for Holy Fvck. “I’m pissing people off by owning my truth, and I’m f*cking okay with it,” they said in the video. “Just by being me.”

With “Skin on my Teeth” almost here and the album title (and release date) announced, I’m waiting by the skin of my teeth for this record to drop. It can’t come soon enough.

The tour, consisting of 34 dates, began on August 13, 2022, in Springfield, Illinois , and ended on November 10, in Rosemont, Illinois . Dr. Joseph Lozovyy was born into a Christian family in Elektrostal, Moscow Region, and was raised in a pastor’s home. From the age of fifteen, he began actively participating in the music ministry of the Baptist Church in Mytishchi, where his father served as a pastor, and also played in the orchestra of the Central Moscow Baptist Church. From 1989, he participated in various evangelistic events in different cities of Moscow Region and beyond. From 1989 to 1992, as a member of the choir and orchestra “LOGOS,” he participated in evangelistic and charitable concerts, repeatedly performing on the stages of the Moscow State Conservatory, the Bolshoi Theatre, and other concert halls in Russia and abroad. In 1992, his family moved to the United States. In 2007, after completing a full course of spiritual and academic preparation, Joseph moved to Dallas, Texas, to engage in church ministry. In 2008, he founded the Russian Bible Church to preach to the Russian-speaking population living in Dallas, Texas.
