I spent $256 on a ticket and flew from Florida to Las Vegas to see this fiasco of a show. The show was supposed to start at 9. The curtain finally rose at almost 9:30. The drums and bass were so loud, little of the vocals could be heard. The band was off several times, there was limited choreography, 2 solos (drum and piano, neither of which were Bruno, OBVIOUS TIME FILLERS), and the show lasted one hour and 15 minutes. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!! IT SUCKED!! I am used to hearing songs sung at concerts, not stopped mid-way to laugh and joke. Bruno Mars needs to go to some REAL concerts so he can see how to please his PAYING AUDIENCE. Go get some lessons from Pink, Elton John, who ever, Bruno, cause your show is a joke!!

The Bruno Mars concert was amazing! The only fault that I would say is that there was a lot of waiting Dua Lipa was right on time and it felt like when’s Bruno coming?! Then after Dua Lipa we had to wait for them to set Bruno up which felt like forever, but when he was out there it was amazing he had fireworks and amazing dance moves and his singing was just amazing. He even added some comedy in there, and he was putting his absolute all you could see by the sweat on his body. After we thought it was over but he surprised us with an extra song :) it was an experience of a lifetime and I must say for my first concert it was A M A Z I N G ! For the merchandise I feel some of it was just a bit overpriced like the hats.

I was soooo happy when Nick Jonas sang one of his songs from Camp Rock!!!!

Bebe Rexha sang Me, Myself, and I, I love that song!!! I just think it wasn’t necessary to say some bad words while she spoke, but thats ok because it’s BEBE REXHA!!!

Bruno Mars was I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!!!!!

He sang all of my favorite songssss and ne sang UPTOWN FUNK!!!! AWESOME!!!!

Overall, it was the best concert of my life, even though we could have been in better seats, and I even got a souvenir t-shirt!!!!

Bruno Mars is coming to Florida for the first time in six years, How to buy tickets

Bruno Mars announced this week that he’ll be playing two back-to-back concerts in Florida this December on his way back to Las Vegas for the last stint of his residency at Park MGM casino’s Dolby Live amphitheater.

The “Leave the Door Open” singer last visited Florida six years ago on his 24K Magic World Tour in 2017, four years before his collaboration album with Anderson .Paak lit TikTok aflame. He’ll be making his grand return to the Sunshine State on Dec. 7 and 8 at Hard Rock Live at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Is Bruno Mars going on tour in 2023?

Mars isn’t touring in the U.S. The “Smoking out the Window” singer is currently touring in west Asia . He has one more show in Saudi Arabia on Friday, Sept. 29 – the same day tickets to his Florida shows go on sale for the general public.

After his Saudi Arabia show, he’ll play one show in Georgia, two shows in Israel and one in Qatar. Mars will wrap up his shows in west Asia and the middle east with his Qatar concert on Oct. 8 and take two months off before coming to Florida. 

His shows in Hollywood on Dec. 7 and 8 are the only U.S. shows he is scheduled for outside of the last five nights of his Vegas residency in late December. After his final five nights in Las Vegas, Mars will jet off to play seven shows in Tokyo in January 2024.

Tickets are now available for presale on Ticketmaster and will go on sale for the general public Friday, September 29 at 10 a.m. ET.

Where is Bruno Mars from?

Bruno Mars, or Peter Gene Hernandez, will be celebrating his 38th birthday soon. The “24K Magic” singer was born on Oct. 8, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Mars’ father, who nicknamed him Bruno at the age of two, is of Puerto Rican and Hungarian-Ukrainian Jewish descent. His mother is of Filipino and Spanish descent and emigrated from the Philippines to Hawaii, where Mars grew up alongside his five siblings before moving to Los Angeles shortly after graduating high school.

.Paak has already begun releasing new music after reuniting with producer Knxwledge. As NxWorries, the pair enlisted the help of fellow Grammy-award winner HER to drop the song “Where I Go.” Mars, on the other hand, is announcing his bold return to the Park MGM Las Vegas.

The “24K Magic” singer is no stranger to Las Vegas. This past summer, he completed a critically acclaimed stint at the casino with .Paak . However, in this 12-night solo residency, fans are promised a fresh new show with him and his beloved band, The Hooligans.

The songwriter re-posted the hotel’s Twitter announcement of his residency with the caption, “start your year off right & rock with The Hooligans.”

Bruno Mars is set to embark on his next Las Vegas residency alone.

Following his previously announced shows on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31 at Park MGM’s Dolby Live, the “Locked Out Of Heaven” singer will return for three shows in January and seven in February, with his final night aptly falling on Valentine’s Day.

Earlier this year, Mars and his Silk Sonic partner, Anderson .Paak , took over Dolby Live with their own residency. VIBE described the vibrant affair as “a well-sequenced, true mastery in visual storytelling.”

Amid their daring choice, the Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. released a statement supporting the decision.

“Silk Sonic has been such a fun highlight of our last couple of shows and they deservedly had an amazing night at the 64th Grammys earlier this year,” said Mason. “We appreciate their decision not to submit this year but look forward to celebrating an amazing year in music together.”

What Is Bruno Mars’ Next Tour?

Bruno Mars’ ongoing 2023 Las Vegas Residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM will now extend beyond its previous August 26th conclusion all the way to New Years’ Eve, with five new dates in December. The latest addition features performances on December 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 30th, and 31st.

In the meantime, the “Finesse” singer has been tapped to headline Louisville, Kentucky’s Bourbon & Beyond festival in September. He’ll also embark on a international trek to Brazil and Chile that month, trailed by nights in Georgia and Israel in October.

In 2024, Mars will play a staggering seven shows at Japan’s Tokyo Dome between January 11th and 21st.

Six new shows set for May-June

Following an extremely successful January and February show run, 14-time Grammy Award-winning superstar Bruno Mars has announced six additional 2023 performances at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas . Mars will return for May 24, 27-28, and 31; and June 2-3.

Tickets start at $99.50, plus applicable service charges, and go on sale to the general public Friday, February 17th at 10 am PT via Ticketmaster .

Members of MGM Rewards, MGM Resorts International’s loyalty rewards program, as well as Live Nation customers, will receive access to a pre-sale running Thursday, February 16th from 10 am PT until 10 pm PT.

In 2021, Mars made history as the first artist ever to receive five RIAA diamond certified singles . Mars’ “That’s What I Like” and “When I Was Your Man” have both been diamond certified, selling and streaming over 10 million copies and bringing his total certifications to five. This follows the diamond certifications of “Just the Way You Are, “Grenade,” and “Uptown Funk! with Mark Ronson. Furthermore, “Just the Way You Are” is 12x multi-platinum, “Uptown Funk!” and “When I Was Your Man” are 11x multi-platinum, and “Grenade” and “That’s What I Like” are 10x multi-platinum.

Mars became the first male and third act overall to have at least three top five Hot 100 hits from each of his first three albums, following only Mariah Carey and Beyoncé. Mars is also the first artist to have two songs spend 24 or more weeks in the Hot 100’s Top 5 (“That’s What I Like” and “Uptown Funk”). Honorably, Mars is one of the few artists to have written and produced all of his No. 1 hits and has had a No. 1 song on the Hot 100 from each of his first three studio albums.

With eight Hot 100 No. 1s, Mars is ranked No. 1 among male artists with the most Hot 100 No. 1s for this decade, extending his lead over Justin Bieber, Drake, Eminem, and The Weeknd. Most recently, Silk Sonic – the collaboration project with Anderson .Paak – received their first No. 1 with their debut single “Leave The Door Open.”

Bruno Mars announces new set of Las Vegas shows for 2023

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Bruno Mars is continuing his series of shows on the Las Vegas Strip next year.

In addition to headlining two shows over New Year’s Eve weekend, Park MGM announced Tuesday that fourteen-time GRAMMY-Award winner Bruno Mars will return to its Dolby Live theater for multiple shows next year.

According to the property, shows will take place in late January and the beginning of February.

Park MGM said tickets for the shows will go on sale this Friday, Oct. 28.

MANILA — Anyone who lived in Hawai’i in the early 1990s remember the story of the pint-sized Elvis impersonator in a Waikiki revue named Bruno Hernandez. He wasn’t even in grade school yet when he appeared on the cover of the local Midweek newspaper (which we all still remember), dressed fully as the King, and it soon landed him a role as an Elvis impersonator in the film “Honeymoon in Vegas.” In Hawaii, local fame is a big deal. And before he even hit 10, Bruno was a bit of local celebrity.

It’s the vocals and the moves, yes. But there’s also the three-piece brass horn section. The equally smooth singing and dancing backup “Hooligans,” providing the necessary hype. There’s Mars wailing on the guitar, which he’s become quite a pro at. Mars pointedly introduces his band at the very beginning of the night, and gives them each a moment in the spotlight to show off their talents. The singer takes a moment to perform some of his vast songwriting catalog, solo on piano. In a nod to his origins, Mars sings a bit of the Ronettes’ “Be My Baby” into his 2010 track “Marry You.”

Mars has been doing this version of his show for a while now — including a Vegas residency — so he has it down pat, and it doesn’t appear that he mixes it up much.

Performing a jukebox with no new songs seems something that seems premature given his youth, and the likelihood that plenty more work is coming. But hey, if he wants to tour right now just for the hell of it, why not. The crowds are clearly there.

And they’re definitely receptive — a credit to the way Mars engages with the crowd in a way that few other performers seem to do these days. In each concert stop, Mars personalizes his banter for the crowd – a little Korean in Seoul, for example. But it’s on an entirely different level in Manila, as Mars peppered the entire evening with choice phrases in Tagalog, to the delight of the massive crowd.

Later, midway through “Calling All My Lovelies,” while talking through a fake, gold-plated 90s style brick cell phone (see, showmanship), he pleads, “Hey baby, I’m in the Philippines right now. It’s been, what? Four to five years? [He last played the Philippines in 2018.] But I still feel the same way about you.” Then he declares, “Miss na kita, mahal!” (“I miss you, my love!”) The Hooligans then chime in, and they turn it into a melodic plea. “Miss na kita, mahal!”

There’s something extra exhilarating in seeing Mars, who’s part Filipino, perform to a Manila crowd. The Philippine Arena holds 55,000 people — the largest mixed-use indoor arena in the world — and Mars’ first night in town was completely sold out. I managed to make it to Night 2, and despite the huge crowds, the show moved surprisingly smooth, like a Bruno Mars chorus. Mars hit the stage around 7:10 – just ten minutes after the advertised start time. And while that may seem early, remember that it was a Sunday night, and going to a Bruno Mars concert is a family affair here. There’s also no alcohol served at concerts in the Philippines, which admittedly took me by surprise. (At first, because the Philippine Arena is owned by a church, I assumed it was the owner’s prerogative – but apparently, it’s the norm.) A concert where no one is buying a $15 (or, 836 Philippine pesos) beer feels unusual, but it also means those crowd screams were all genuine and not the byproduct of lubricated fans.

Because it’s located far outside Manila, the Philippine Arena gets mixed marks from music fans, according to news site Rappler, which notes that transportation to the venue is difficult, and the dining and accommodation options in the area are slim.

On-site food comes from make-shift stands, although via popular vendors like Chowking, McDonald’s, Yellow Cab Pizza Co., Jamba Juice and Shakey’s. The lines are ridiculously long — a sign that the venue still hasn’t figured out how to handle crowds of 55,000. And the arena is a most unusual horseshoe shape, which works fine for concerts, but I imagine makes the basketball games that also take place there a tad awkward — with crowds on just three sides.

Finally, the lights dimmed, and the band hit the stage. Imagine the roar of 55,000 people in an indoor arena as Mars took the mic. The kid who had once been Elvis had entered the building, and the crowd couldn’t help but fall in love. “Masaya akong nakita kayo!” (“I’m happy to see you!”), Bruno Mars proclaimed. And in the Philippines, on a balmy night in June, the feeling was mutual.

We went all the way from High Level, Canada to watch his Las Vegas Dec 23 concert at Dolby live MGM and it was a blast!! Best experience seeing him performing live! Daddy Bruno is coming into my boyhoIe!

He’s great. But the concert I’ve attended was super short (no pun intended). Like 1 hour 15 minutes. Ok quality not quantity but don’t give me that BS when you have a catalogue that could easily let you add 30 minutes to your show.

I’m excited. Bruno is a BEAST of an artist and entertainer.

He gives me karaoke MJ but still miles better than Chris brown. Only problem for me is he doesn’t take enough sonic or music risk, it’s like he’s too Clean… Safe which makes him semi boring.

Bruno is anything but boring especially when he hits the stage. And don’t forget he can actually SING

Appropriation where? Bruno always pays homage to the greats and never pretends to be an originator. The legends love him and so does everyone else based on his popularity and success.

Appropriation everywhere. He’s not black but chooses to black fish, steals music from black artists like the uptown funk record he tried to avoid paying for, and when he was a kid he knew he wasn’t black because he was an Elvis impersonator. One of the biggest stars in town this week is Bruno Mars, who performed at the Trifecta Gala Derby Eve party Friday night.

But before taking the stage, Mars stopped by an iconic restaurant in Louisville's Smoketown neighborhood — Shirley Mae's Cafe.

Other guests that were in town this week for Derby included Martha Stewart, Jimmy Fallon, and Chris Tucker.

Over the past week, students at dozens of universities held demonstrations, set up encampments and, at times, seized academic buildings. In response, administrators at many of those colleges decided to crack down and called in the local police to detain and arrest demonstrators.

As of Thursday, the police had arrested 2,000 people across more than 40 campuses, a situation so startling that President Biden could no longer ignore it.

Jonathan Wolfe, who has been covering the student protests for The Times, and Peter Baker, the chief White House correspondent, discuss the history-making week.
