Doesn’t show delays.

The app is very nice! It helps me to know when to start going to the bus stop but Only problem I have is it doesn’t show if a bus is delayed or not. It always lights green when the bus is on time or near but it never tells you if it’s late

Hello, k. high. Thank you for your feedback. You can subscribe to free route alerts so that you're always informed of any delays, interruptions or detours that may affect your ride. You can sign up quickly by texting your route number to 713713 and you'll be automatically subscribed to receive a text whenever there's a service alert on that route. Thank you for choosing METRO.

Good but can be better

Great visualizations of local routes, but should also include Park & Ride Routes. Ideally, this should be combined with the QTicketing app to have a 1 stop app.

Never seems to work

I have iPhone 12 mini and most of the time, the app shows there is no service when there clearly are bus routes near where I want to board the bus. It also will only show one arrival when clearly I'm near a bus stop.

Hello, we appreciate your feedback. Please ensure that your preferred location is within the blue circle on the map. You can move the location by scrolling to a different area on the map. If you're already at the location where you want to board, you can choose the navigation icon in the top right corner of that map. The app will locate you and place you inside the circle. From there, you will see bus routes nearby appear on the left side of your phone screen. If you think that there's a route that should be listed, but isn't, please contact Customer Service by calling or texting 713-635-4000 between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Thank you for riding METRO.

May bank holiday travel chaos feared as people warned to plan journeys now

Travellers are set to face mass journey disruptions over the May Bank Holiday next weekend. 

London ’s Euston Station will be closed next Sunday to all but London Overground passengers. 

People looking to travel are therefore advised to check for the latest updates before planning their routes, especially if they’re headed to Scotland . 

From Saturday to Monday, May 4 to 6, engineers will also be carrying out major railway upgrades across the North West of England . 

Those wanting to travel between Crewe, Liverpool, Warrington, Runcorn, Wigan, Bolton, Manchester, Preston and Carlisle are therefore advised to check well in advance of setting off. 

The Bank Holiday misery comes after the Easter break was marred by three days of motorway and train line chaos , when severe congestion and planned works choked many of the nation’s most crucial motorways, A-roads and rail routes. 

James Dean, passenger director for Network Rail’s North West and Central region, said: ‘We know there is never an ideal time to shut the railway but bank holidays continue to be the least disruptive time for us to carry out this essential maintenance.’

‘With Euston closed our advice is once again to check before you travel over the long weekend, and to plan ahead by checking National Rail Enquiries to see how your journey could be impacted. 

Engineering work will further see buses replace trains between Doncaster and Darlington. 

In the capital, other constructions and repairs will also cause disruption between Farringdon and Loughborough Junction, between Blackfriars and Herne Hill, and between Battersea Pier and Factory Junction. 

On Sunday 5, there will be no Thameslink services running from either Wimbledon or Sutton. 

The Sevenoaks service will also run from London Victoria instead of London Blackfriars.

Meanwhile, repair work between Shepherd’s Bush and Watford Junction will see the Southern service suspended between 8pm on the Saturday and noon on Sunday. 

Trains along that route will then be suspended again from 9pm that evening.

Video shows Tornado in southeast Nebraska Friday afternoon as severe weather hits area

A tornado was spotted on the ground in southeast Nebraska where several warnings have been placed for the western portions of the Omaha metro area.

The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado north of Waverly, Nebraska that was moving to the northeast shortly after 3 p.m. local time Friday. Officials urged those in the area to seek shelter immediately.

A massive tornado intercept was seen north of Lincoln, also in Lancaster County, footage posted on X (formerly Twitter) by SevereStudios weather videographer Nick Gorman shows.

Tornado warnings were set Friday afternoon for an area near Interstate 80 between Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska State Patrol said.

Tornadoes reported in kansas, wyoming, colorado.

At least three other tornadoes have been reported since Thursday including one near Bird City, Kansas, one in Yoder, Wyoming and another near Akron, Colorado, according to the National Weather Service.

Other storms are expected to develop on the eastern side of the Plains on Friday, bringing more possible tornadoes and hail. The threat of more severe weather is possible by Saturday with storms causing frequent lightning, severe wind gusts over the middle Mississippi Valley and central and southern Plains.

Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly issued a state of disaster emergency proclamation due to the severe weather.

"I encourage all Kansans to have an emergency kit and a family plan in preparation for a tornado," Gov. Kelly said. "Stay updated on local weather conditions by listening to a NOAA weather radio or local TV and radio stations. Once a warning is activated, it is important to take cover."
