Drake and Future Expand Summer Sixteen Tour

Earlier this year,  Drake  announced the Summer Sixteen tour  in support of his new album  VIEWS , co-presented by Apple Music. (The tour shares its name with one of Drake's recent singles. )  Future is set to join, alongside OVO signees Roy Woods and DVSN, with more special guests promised. Today, Drake and Future have expanded the tour, adding dates that will keep them on the road into the fall. The venues haven't been announced yet, but you can find the new dates and cities below, along with the previously announced shows.

Here Are the Dates for Drake & Future's 'Summer Sixteen' Tour

The duo will be hitting 27 cities..

After announcing that they were going on a collaborative tour across North America, Drake and Future have released the full dates for their upcoming ‘Summer Sixteen’ tour. Joined by OVO signees Roy Woods and dvsn , in addition to a host of special guests, the duo will kick things off in Austin, Texas on July 20 before making their way through 27 cities across the continent. The tour’s finale will take place in Vancouver on September 17. Check out the full list of dates below.

A mind-blowing live personality, a revelation! A huge spontaneous crush! Power, cheekiness, everything that can reinstate one in the love for women and music. A never again to be missed!

Literally the best thing I have ever seen. The whole band sounded so tight, the light show was insane and they really played to the audience. Two full sets of material plus an encore was probably more than any of us expected. They played so many songs that I wanted to hear, even some really old material which was so unexpected. The whole audience was buzzing with energy and love for a band that are so good, but really don't tour enough. I'd waited 10 years for a chance to see them and now that I have, I'd have waited another 10 if I knew it was going to be that perfect. It was a privilege to be in that room and witness something so beautiful.

Absolutely the best concert I was ever at, honestly I don't think any other artist could top this. She had such an incredible presence on stage, every eye was on her and her wonderful team. Dua and her dancers moved gracefully and fluidly, with bursts of power and energy. Her vocals were insanely beautiful, every word was sung with such passion and love. Her grand finale of IDGAF and New Rules was simply amazing, with breathtaking choreography and stunning visuals behind her. The band sounded great and the backup vocalists and dancers were on point for every minute. Without a doubt in my mind it was the very best live performance I have ever seen, and I don't think anything in the future will ever compare to it. Dua Lipa, Olympia Theatre, Dublin. The most incredible, angelic, beautiful person to ever grace this earth. I've never been more stunned by a performance. SZA met and exceeded all of my expectations, I cannot put into words how amazing she is live. It's an experience you don't want to miss if you get the chance to see her. She was so happy and humble and was continuiously appoligizing for being sick and I honestly couldn't tell, that's how great she is. Also the experience brought me life not only because I got to see her preform but because everyone was singing every single word to every song with her. Truly incredible when you are surrounded in a room full of people singing your favorite songs at the top of their lungs. Needless to say I want a live version of ctrl after all of this so I can reminisce.

Absolutely incredible!! Khalid was only my second concert ever and it has inspired me to see as many as I can. It felt like every song was played at 250% and it sounded incredible. The band was phenomenal and I could really feel the music. The crowd was happy and everyone was having a good time. I'd see him again if I could.

A new wave one-stop shop will tour North America this summer when Howard Jones and ABC will be hitting stages across North America with special guest Haircut 100. The full itinerary appears below.

“I’m very excited to be hitting the road with my friends ABC and Haircut 100,” Jones enthused. “Our audiences can look forward to some seriously top tunes night after night!  Bring your celebratory selves to the party.”

Of course, the evening will play out like an evening filled with hits from the early days of MTV, when the so-called “Second British Invasion” dominated the channel. Jones’ hits “New Song” and “What Is Love,” and “Things Can Only Get Better” probably segued into or out of ABC’s “Look of Love,” “Poison Arrow” and “Be Near Me” and Haircut 100’s “Love Plus One” and “Fantastic Day.”

All three acts have gone on to other successes, but this tour brings together the songs and sounds that first brought them to fame.

Chevelle have been hard at work on a new album, the follow-up to 2021's acclaimed NIRATIAS . But they're taking a break this summer to hit the road.

Regina Spektor, the acclaimed singer-songwriter, has announced a special series of performances set to grace stages this summer – An Evening with Regina Spektor.

Produced by Live Nation, the eight city tour kicks off on July 24 at The Egg* in Albany, NY making stops across North America in Toronto, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Montclair, Boston, and Portland (Maine) before wrapping up in Stamford, CT at The Palace Stamford on August 3.

Spektor’s eighth studio album, the long-awaited Home, before and after, was released in 2022 and met with critical praise from New York Times, NPR Music, and more.

About Regina Spektor

Regina Spektor calls them sandcastles. There’s a million of them, songs that rise up and multiply in her brain — the fruits of months, sometimes years, of channeling and crafting. But what happens to them when it’s time to make new music? “They all have to be slowly washed away. Some of them are really well built, and they’re really high up on the beach,” she says. “It all has to be gone, and then I can start to hear new songs and make a new record.”

Starting with a clean slate, with six momentous years between albums, Spektor returned in 2022 with Home, before and after. The eagerly awaited eighth studio album was the follow-up to 2016’s Remember Us to Life. It paired Spektor with John Congleton (St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen), who produced the album from afar in Los Angeles with Spektor co-producing in upstate New York.

The years between her albums weren’t exactly fallow. In 2016, at her friend Lin-Manuel Miranda’s invitation, she contributed a song (“Dear Theodosia,” featuring Ben Folds) to The Hamilton Mixtape. Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio declared Regina Spektor Day in her hometown in June 2019, she got a street sign with her name at the Bronx Walk of Fame, and that same month staged a sold out residency on Broadway at the legendary Lunt- Fontanne Theatre.

Her work for television and film continued. “You’ve Got Time,” from Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black, entered the pantheon of classic TV theme songs, so much so that Spektor released an orchestral version of the award-winning tune for the final episode. She wrote “One Little Soldier” for the closing credits of the film Bombshell and multiple songs for the animated series Central Park.

Time has been kind to Spektor’s work. Twenty years have passed since she self-released her 2001 debut, 11:11, which recently received a remastered reissue, as well as a limited-edition box set. In the decades since, Spektor, who was born in Moscow, Russia and raised in the Bronx, New York, has defied classification. With a sophisticated marriage of classical training and a gift for sharp pop hooks and nuanced lyrics, she has created her own genre. She makes Regina Spektor music.

Kittie Announce Summer 2024 North American Headlining Tour

The short run of headlining dates will follow the Canadian band's upcoming festival appearances

Kittie have announced a brief Summer 2024 North American headlining tour.

The dates will follow most of the Canadian band’s previously announced spring festival appearances, which include slots at Sick New World , Welcome to Rockville , Sonic Temple , and Festival d’Été de Québec.

The headlining run kicks off July 12th in Toronto and hits New York City (July 19th), Atlanta (August 2nd), Dallas (August 4th), and Chicago (August 23rd). Kittie will then play the Havoc Festival in Jackson, Michigan, on August 24th.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select shows begins Thursday (April 25th) at noon ET using the code RIFF . General ticket sales start Friday (April 26th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster . Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub , where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be headlining a handful of exclusive shows this summer in support of our forthcoming album,” remarked Kittie in a press release. “Expect a celebration of new and old material alike, spanning our 25 year career thus far. We are looking forward to playing some set list staples and bringing back some songs that we haven’t played live in decades! Although limited, look for more shows to be announced at a later date. We’ve missed you and we can’t wait to see you again!”

Kittie returned from a lengthy recording hiatus in 2024 with two new singles, “Eyes Wide Open” and “We Are Shadows.” As the band mentioned in its press statement, a new full-length album is forthcoming.

Summer 2024: Idina Menzel Announces ‘Take Me Or Leave Me’ Concert Tour – Full Schedule Inside!

F amed Broadway star Idina Menzel is all set to hit the road with her Take Me Or Leave Me concert tour this coming summer, and fans can anticipate a “vintage set” from the celebrated performer.

The title of the tour is a nod to her beloved performance of the song from the iconic 1996 Broadway show Rent .

Idina , in her conversation with Billboard , shared, “Maureen was always a character who lived boldly and authentically, perhaps to her own detriment [laughs]. I have such a connection to that song and miss playing her, but this tour is named from a fresh angle. It signifies who I am at this stage in my life. It’s been quite some time since I saw my fans, and through this tour, I want to express both my evolution and the constants in my life. I hope to connect with them sharing my journey, trusting that they’ll accept me as I am.”

Her itinerary includes a month-long series of personal and up-close performances touching down in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas, and Chicago, among others.

On her Instagram page, Idina declared her excitement about performing “a vintage set along with plenty of new content, aiming for authenticity.”

For the first time ever, RB Leipzig will conduct a preseason tour of the United States.

The Bundesliga side has announced a two-game tour of the United States, marking the first time it has held its preseason outside of Europe.

RB Leipzig will set up camp in New Jersey at the academy of its sister team, the New York Red Bulls.

“This will be our first preseason outside of Europe, and with the USA we decided to go to a key target market for our club,” said general manager Johann Plenge. “RB Leipzig excites soccer fans both domestically and internationally with its unique story, which has taken us from the fifth division to the Champions League.”

The club has already announced a friendly against Aston Villa at Red Bull Arena, with one further match yet to be confirmed.
