Day 1 Sep 12  Depart for  Vienna .

Day 2 Sep 13  Upon arrival, drive around the Ringtrasse and enjoy a panoramic tour of the city: we view Hofburg Palace, the Capuchin Church, St. Charles Church, Belvedere Palace, the Vienna Opera, museums, the House of Parliament, and City Hall. Mass at St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Vienna.

Day 3 Sep 14  Morning, continue city tour in Vienna. Then, travel to  Brno , where you will visit Cathedral. Celebrate mass, and then enjoy some free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Brno.

Day 4 Sep 15  After breakfast, travel to  Prague . Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Prague’s highlights, including Hradčany, St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle, and Mala Strana. We start our tour of the city with the Castle District, where we tour the 14 th -century gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica, and the Golden Way – a picturesque street lined with tiny, colourful houses. These houses were built into the castle’s fortifications around the end of the 16 th -century. Mass in one of Prague’s churches. We also stop at Wenceslas Square, the city’s main square and the setting of many significant historical events. Dinner and overnight in Prague.

Day 5 Sep 16  After breakfast, we celebrate Mass at the Church of Our Lady of Victory and see the renowned statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. After mass we continue our tour to Lesser Town – we see St. Nicholas Church and we cross the medieval Charles Bridge. We see landmarks of Prague’s Old Town – the elegant tower of the Town Hall with the world famous Astronomical Clock and the Church of Our Lady before Týn. Dinner and overnight in Prague.

Day 6 Sep 17  Morning, depart for Krakow. En route stop in  Olomouc , and a short tour in  Auschwitz . Dinner and overnight in Krakow .

Day 7 Sep 18  Today we start our day with a visit to the famous Salt Mines of  Wieliczka , a splendid 3-mile long underground complex of chambers, chapels and statues sculpted from salt. In the afternoon we explore Krakow , the ancient cultural capital of Poland. We visit the Market Place and St. Mary’s Church, where you may pray before the extraordinary Wit Stwosz altar. The surroundings of the square have remained unchanged for almost 700 years and contain buildings of historic value such as the Town Hall Tower, the Cloth Hall and the Wawel Castle. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.

Day 8 Sep 19  Continue to  Lagiewniki  – known around the world as “Divine Mercy Shrine”. It is here that the message of Divine Mercy originated, which Christ himself wished to pass on to our Generation, through the meditations of Sister Faustyna. Here we celebrate mass and visit the convent of St. Faustyna, her tomb and relics. Dinner and overnight in  Kosice .

Day 9 Sep 20  Tour Kosice, a city in eastern Slovakia, close to the Hungarian border. Its origins go back to the medieval period, and the central Lower Gate archaeological complex preserves fortifications from the 13 th -century. Hlavné Námestie, the main square, is home to 2 Gothic churches: the huge St. Elisabeth Cathedral and the 14th-century St. Michael Chapel. Nearby, St. Urban’s Tower contains a museum of wax figurines. Dinner and overnight in  Budapest .

Day 10 Sep 21  Morning, after celebrating Mass at the 13th-century Cathedral of St. Matthew, we will see the Citadel on Mount Gellert. We view the Royal Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion, the Parliament, Heroes’ Square, etc. Dinner and overnight in Budapest.

Day 11 Sep 22  Travel to Sibiu. En route stop in  Timișoara , a city in western Romania, known for Secessionist architecture. The central square, Piața Victoriei, is surrounded by baroque buildings and the Metropolitan Orthodox Cathedral, with its mosaic-patterned roof tiles and icon gallery. Nearby is the Habsburg-era square Piața Unirii. Dinner and overnight in Sibiu.

Day 12 Sep 23 Tour Sibiu , the largest and wealthiest walled citadel built in Transylvania in the 12th century by the German settlers. The town has a pedestrian-friendly area, with two accessible levels: The Upper Town and The Lower Town, connected through The Stairs Passage. Preserving until today its wonderful medieval atmosphere, Sibiu was listed by Forbes in its top 10 of the most idyllic places to live in the whole world. Visit the Grand Square, the Small Square, the Liar’s Bridge and the impressive Evangelical Cathedral. In the Grand Square you will find the Holy Trinity Cathedral, where we will celebrate Mass. Then, continue to Bucharest for dinner and overnight.

Day 13 Sep 24  This morning enjoy a walking tour in the Old Town of  Bucharest . Mass celebration at the local Cathedral. Some free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Bucharest.

Day 14 Sep 25  Morning, fly to  Amsterdam . Amsterdam is known as Venice of the North, because of its lovely canals that criss-cross the city, its impressive architecture and more than 1,500 bridges. Tour of the city takes us to National Monument, windmills, etc landmarks. We will visit the Basilica of St Nicholas and the Chapel of the Beguinesour (if open), where we will hear the story of the Eucharistic Miracle of Amsterdam. Also, we will have an Amsterdam canal cruise tour. Dinner and overnight in Amsterdam.

Day 15 Sep 26  Return home (AC direct flight).
