Toto announces 2024 Touring Lineup

Toto Touring Lineup 2024

The band will stage 44 appearances across North America beginning on February 9 at Biloxi’s Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The itinerary features 30 appearances as support for Journey in arenas across The United States and Canada, with an additional 14 headline performances planned. A tour of Europe follows this Summer. Additional performances will be announced in the coming weeks, with a run of the UK and plans to visit other continents in motion now. Tickets for all appearances are available for purchase here .

Over the past decade, Toto has had a major renaissance in popularity like few bands at this point in their career. No individual statistic exhibits this more than achieving the milestone of over 3.4 billion streams at Spotify alone. The total plays of the band’s collected works across all platforms is now approaching five billion. Amongst the most listened to recordings, “Africa” accounts for over one billion streams at Spotify alone. The song was recertified by the RIAA 8X Platinum.

Individually and collectively, the band’s family tree can be heard on an astonishing 5000 albums that together amass a sales history of a half a billion albums. Amongst these recordings, NARAS applauded the performances with hundreds of Grammy nominations. They are pop culture, and are one of the few 70’s bands that have endured the changing trends and styles while continuing to remain relevant.

Toto Reform With New Lineup, Plot ‘Dogz of Oz’ World Tour

  • By Andy Greene

Andy Greene

Just one year after Toto announced their breakup following a gig in Philadelphia’s Metropolitan Opera House, the band has announced a reunion with a radically revised lineup.

Founding guitarist Steve Lukather and long-time vocalist Joseph Williams are returning to the fold, but founding keyboardists Steve Porcaro and David Paich are both out of the group.

Joining the band for this new era is Huey Lewis and the News bassist John Pierce, Snarky Puppy drummer Robert “Sput” Searight, and keyboardist/background vocalist Steve Maggiora. They will be joined by keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Warren Ham, both of whom played with Toto during their last few tours.

This new incarnation of Toto are plotting a world tour they’re calling Dogz of Oz where they’re promising to play “all the hits, deep cuts, and solo music from Lukather and Williams’ individual catalogs.” They’re going to preview the tour on November 21st with a livestreaming event. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday .

“We could not be more at peace with this move,” Lukather says in a statement. “There is a refreshing, optimistic enthusiasm to step into the future. At this moment, Joe and I are the only long-tenured members of the band that want to be on the road continuing to bring music to our multi-generational fan base. I’ve spent almost four and a half decades of my life as the only original member who never missed a show or an album nurturing this legacy while enabling the music to continually exist in the live concert setting. That is something I’ll never stop doing.”

“The Dogz of Oz global tour offers a rare opportunity to reimagine our personal futures while simultaneously preserving the deep connection that exists with the audience while likewise yielding continual discovery,” he continues. “The hope is to move forward with the planned itinerary for summer 2021 that will bring us back to our fans across the world.”

Williams echoed the sentiment in a statement of his own. “Luke and I have been through a lot with one another,” he said. “He’s like a brother to me. Our creative partnership has always enriched our lives. As we look toward what’s to come in unison, there is nothing but anticipation to bring everything in our minds to life. I can’t think of anyone else on earth I’d rather launch the next chapter with this lifelong, loyal, and gifted friend and bandmate. We’re the last men standing…the Dogz of Oz!”

Toto’s popularity peaked in 1982 when their singles “Africa” and “Rosanna” became massive hits all over the globe. They’ve held onto a devoted cult fanbase ever since that time, but they saw an incredible resurgence in popularity a few years back when a new generation of fans discovered “Africa.” Weezer covered the song in 2018 and turned it into a hit yet again.

Editor’s picks

The 250 greatest guitarists of all time, the 500 greatest albums of all time, the 50 worst decisions in movie history, every awful thing trump has promised to do in a second term.

The renewed attention helped draw many new fans to Toto concerts, but a lawsuit by Susan Porcaro Goings, the widow of late Toto drummer Jeff Porcaro, stalled their momentum. She claimed they weren’t paying money that was owed to Jeff Porcaro’s estate.

“A lot of kids were coming to see us [because of Weezer], believe me,” Lukather told Guitar Player . “I didn’t want to stop this way. We were doing amazing shows, so it’s sad and disgusting to stop this way because of a legal issue. We have a big debt to pay. The process made us break down financially. Getting to the point that we need to make a deal that didn’t favor us…This action stuck a knife in us and it is a lot to endure. The final show was ‘bittersweet’, to say the least.”

Toto Lineup Changes: A Complete Guide

Toto were an immediate success story from the moment the strains of their first single, "Hold the Line," hit the airwaves in 1978. They went on to a string of multi-platinum albums and Top 40 hits, but had to deal with constant change behind the scenes. Of course, a lot of bands face personnel changes, but Toto have been through more than many and faced a number of gut-wrenching personal tragedies along the way. Here's a look back at all the major comings and goings they've seen over the years.

1977-82: David Paich / Jeff Porcaro / David Hungate / Steve Lukather / Steve Porcaro / Bobby Kimball

Most high school bands don't go anywhere, but Rural Still Life, which gigged around Grant High in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley in the early '70s, is a notable exception: Drummer Jeff Porcaro, keyboard players David Paich and Steve Porcaro, and guitarist Steve Lukather all went on to help form the nucleus of Toto's original lineup, along with session vet David Hungate (who played with Paich and Jeff Porcaro on Boz Scaggs ' Silk Degrees album) on bass and vocalist Bobby Kimball. The group found immediate success with their self-titled debut album, but things really exploded – in more ways than one – after the multi-platinum, Grammy-winning Toto IV in 1982.

1983-84: David Paich / Jeff Porcaro / Steve Lukather / Steve Porcaro / Bobby Kimball / Mike Porcaro

As soon as the basic tracks for Toto IV were completed, Hungate abruptly quit and moved to Nashville. He was quickly replaced by Mike Porcaro, who joined the band in time for the album's videos and tour, but they'd soon have to replace an even more distinctive component of what had become a very successful sound.

1984-85: David Paich / Jeff Porcaro / Steve Lukather / Steve Porcaro / Mike Porcaro / Fergie Frederiksen

Coming off the biggest record of their career, Toto faced the difficult prospect of putting together a follow-up – a question that became even tougher to answer when Bobby Kimball's struggles with some bad habits caught up with him in the months leading up to the sessions for 1984's Isolation. Stuck for a new singer, the band brought in former Le Roux vocalist Fergie Frederiksen. Unfortunately, Toto's new sound failed to catch on, either on the charts or behind the scenes, and it was soon time to make yet another change.

1986-88: David Paich / Jeff Porcaro / Steve Lukather / Steve Porcaro / Mike Porcaro / Joseph Williams

On the hunt for another new singer after Frederiksen's exit following the Isolation tour, the band turned to another childhood friend, Joseph Williams. Williams' elastic tenor, songwriting skill and stage presence complemented Toto perfectly, and although his two records as the group's frontman (1986's Fahrenheit and 1988's The Seventh One ) didn't match the success of Toto IV, things were finally stable again ... for a while, anyway. Steve Porcaro exited as a full-time member following Fahrenheit, although he remained in the wings as a guest on subsequent albums. His absence had an effect on the group's music, then they were thrown for another loop when Williams' own bad habits caught up with him on the Seventh One tour, preventing him from being able to perform consistently and resulting in yet another change at the lead singer position.

1990: David Paich / Jeff Porcaro / Steve Lukather / Mike Porcaro / Jean-Michel Byron

Unsure of what to do next, Toto decided to regroup with a greatest-hits record, and when it came time to record a few new songs for the compilation, they yielded to the record company's advice and added South African singer Jean-Michel Byron to the lineup. Although the resulting release, Past to Present 1977-1990, sold well, Byron's more flamboyant style didn't mesh with the rest of the group, and by the end of the tour to support the record, he'd been relegated to more of a background role – then let go completely.

1991-92: David Paich / Jeff Porcaro / Steve Lukather / Mike Porcaro

Unwilling to add yet another lead singer to the mix, Toto decided to carry on as a four-piece for 1992's Kingdom of Desire record, taking things back to basics for a set of harder-edged songs that they all wrote together. Sadly, before they could go on the road to promote the album, Jeff Porcaro passed away, the victim of a heart attack.

1992-97: David Paich / Steve Lukather / Mike Porcaro / Simon Phillips

Faced with touring obligations and a crew to support, the surviving members of Toto made the difficult decision to carry on in the wake of Jeff Porcaro's death, bringing in session vet Simon Phillips to hold down the bottom end for their Kingdom of Desire dates in 1992 and '93. The combination worked so well that they decided to go on, keeping Lukather behind the mic full-time for 1995's Tambu LP.

1998-2003: David Paich / Steve Lukather / Mike Porcaro / Simon Phillips / Bobby Kimball

While assembling some odds and ends for 1998's Toto XX collection, the band decided to reach out to Kimball and Williams and bring them back into the fold for some promotional dates – a combination that worked well enough to prompt Kimball's full-time return for 1999's Mindfields record. With the classic Toto sound largely intact for the first time in 15 years, it looked like the band had come full circle.

2003-08: David Paich / Steve Lukather / Mike Porcaro / Simon Phillips / Bobby Kimball

For a time, Kimball's reunion with Toto seemed to stick; the band released a pair of albums (2003's covers set Through the Looking Glass and 2006's Falling in Between ), ventured out on a series of tours and projected an air of unity. But behind the scenes, trouble was brewing again: Paich's reluctance to tour and Mike Porcaro's tragic diagnosis with Lou Gehrig's disease meant that the band's live lineup slowly became more of a rotating cast than a real band. (Bassists subbing for Porcaro included Greg Phillinganes and Leland Sklar.) Lukather's growing feeling that Toto were no longer Toto finally led him to pull the plug in 2008.

2010-19: David Paich / Steve Lukather / Joseph Williams / Steve Porcaro

It looked like Toto might be done for good after their dissolution in 2008. Then Paich called Lukather in 2010, reaching out to broach the subject of a short tour to help raise money for Mike Porcaro and his family. Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams returned to their old spots, and Toto hit the road once more – then remained there for almost a decade. Drummers included Simon Phillips (2010-14), Keith Carlock (2014-15) and Shannon Forrest (2015-19). Bassists were Nathan East (2010-14); the returning Hungate (2014-15) and Sklar (2016-17); and finally Shem von Schroeck (2017-19). Toto eventually fell apart again amid a health setback for Paich and the weight of new legal action. Dominique "Xavier" Taplin was a late-period fill-in on keyboards.

2020-Present: Steve Lukather / Joseph Williams / David Paich / Steve Maggiora / John Pierce / Robert Searight / Dominique “Xavier” Taplin

Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams revealed another lineup of Toto in 2020, announcing a pandemic-era livestream concert to showcase the new members – as well as two solo albums that also included Paich. Bassist Pierce had earlier collaborated with Huey Lewis , while keyboardist Taplin previously worked with Prince . Lukather said they'd be joined on stage by multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (who'd most recently worked with Lukather in Ringo Starr 's band) and also occasionally by Paich, who remained Toto's musical director. "It's his band," Lukather said. "He started it."

Toto announces dogz of oz world tour 2022.

Posted by Buddy Iahn | Nov 30, 2021

Trek kicks off Feb 25th in Las Vegas

Toto has announced the band’s return to the road in late-February, 2022. The band will begin the Dogz of Oz World Tour in Las Vegas, NV on February 25th. Dates are scheduled through August 27th with additional appearances to be announced.

On April 7th, the band will perform an additional 18 shows in US arenas with Journey. In July and August, the band will be touring in Europe headlining festivals, alongside performing in arenas and large theaters which include an already sold out appearance at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. Those performances were pushed from 2021 due to travel restrictions.

For the headline appearances, American Express Card Members can purchase tickets in select markets before the general public beginning Wednesday, December 1st at 10 am local time through Thursday, December 2nd at 10 pm local time. A local pre-sale will follow on Thursday, December 2nd with general on-sale being live Friday, December 3rd at 10 am via Ticketmaster .

The global tour that will stretch several years is presented by Toto co-founder and musical director David Paich. Joining Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams on the road are new band members bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note), and keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck). Keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note) and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) segued over continuing their tenure in the ensemble. This marks the fifteenth incarnation of the Toto line-up in consideration of band members or sidemen who joined or exited.

Steve Lukather offers, “When the music is performed by great musicians it honors Toto. The documentary featured on the DVD offers great insights in to our thoughts looking forward. David, who stands with us, alongside Joe and myself, desire to keep this music alive. And Paich could pop in any time for a show as a special surprise. We’ll be selecting a broader mix from the Toto catalog that includes deep cuts, the hits, and tunes from Joe and my recently released solo albums. Both of us could not be more thrilled with the global response to these records.”

Toto’s “Africa” recently crossed the threshold of one billion streams on Spotify. This accomplishment speaks to the continual discovery of the band’s repertoire, alongside the multi-generational fan base enjoying a composition that is nearing 40 years since the band’s album IV was released. Cumulative Spotify streams exceed 3.3 billion plays.

The band recently released With A Little Help From My Friends via The Players Club/Mascot Label Group. The album was produced by Joseph Williams, who also edited the accompanying long-form video. The band’s long-time front of house engineer Ken Freeman mixed and captured the sound. On February 26th, Luke and Joe presented solo albums via The Players Club/Mascot Label Group which charted in multiple territories across the globe. Both artists made significant contributions to the other’s recordings. Additionally, David Paich performed on select tracks on Luke’s I Found The Sun Again and Williams’ Denizen Tenant . The titles were released on LP, CD and a limited edition deluxe edition is available with the two titles bundled together.

Formed in Van Nuys, Greater Los Angeles, USA, Toto are a critically acclaimed, six piece rock band known for their eclectic blend of influences to create a unique style of music.

Toto started life in 1977, when a group of session musicians decided to form their own band to play original music of their own. The lineup has changed over the years but currently the band features Steve Lukather on guitar and vocals, Joseph Williams as lead vocalist, David Paich on keyboards and vocals, Steve Porcaro on keyboards, Keith Carlock on drums and bass player David Hungate replacing Mike Porcaro due to illness.

Toto's anthemic arena rock has been pleasing fans worldwide for over three decades, with the band releasing a total of 17 albums and selling over 35 million records. Their 1982 album "Toto IV" became their most commercially successful release, featuring the top five hits "Hold The Line," "Rosanna" and perhaps their best known song "Africa." The main keyboard riff of "Africa" is instantly recognisable and is a classic song of the 80s. What makes Toto's music so successful is their wide-ranging influences, incorporating world rhythms, progressive rock, soul and jazz into their melting pot. "Toto IV" earned the band seven Grammy Awards, which included Record of the Year for "Rosanna," as well as Album of the Year and Producer of the Year for the record.

Toto continued to have a prolific output yet did not achieve the same levee of success as with "Toto IV." In 2002, to celebrate their 25th anniversary, the band released "Through the Looking Glass", an album of covers that was a tribute to the music that influenced the band, featuring covers of songs by Bob Marley, Steely Dan and George Harrison. The band struggled with lineup changes throughout the later stage of their career. In 2008, following David Paich's retirement and Mike Porcaro's illness, Steve Lukather called an end to Toto, citing the loss of many of the original members as reasons for this. But in 2010, in order to raise money to support Porcaro through his medical costs, the band reunited for several further tours and also talk of a new album in the works.

Toto were one of the most successful bands of the 80s and their music continues to define the sound of the decade. In 2009, the band were inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame in 2009, cementing their reputation.

Live reviews

Toto are masters at blending diverse genres together to create a sound that is all of their own. They have combined the diverse genres of soul, funk, pop, rock, jazz, and progressive rock into their sound that allows them to produce large atmospheric sounds that will grab the audience’s attention. Toto can hit you in the face with a fierce hard rock guitar riff and then they can send you into a trance of other worldly sounds with the shimmering music of the synthesizers that the band produces. Their bass player has the ability to get deep warm tones from his bass guitar that drives the rhythm of most of the songs, and the piano player will also play organ effects on his synthesizers to get a real meaty and funky sound to enhance the music. Toto tours with many band members that play different instruments, but they are all well versed at playing in time to create a richly ornate quality to their music. Toto’s band consists of background singers that often perform call and response melodies with the lead singer to produce a soulful sound to their music. The band plays a diverse setlist when touring that includes most of their hits. They will play the hard-rock tune “Hold the Line” that will get the audience rocking out to the music, and then they will play the more foreign, ethereal sounding tune “Africa” that has lush synth sounds that will make you think that you are in the safari’s of Africa. The band has been a commercial and critical success already having been inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum as well as having won numerous Grammy Awards.

While at a Toto concert you will be in awe of the diverse performance styles that the band conveys. Each member is a master on their instrument and to see them play with such precision together, creating such amazing sounds is an inspirational sensation.

Toto, the American rock six-piece formed almost forty years ago yet continue to wow crowds with their abilities to merge numerous genres into slick sounding alt-pop. Known to incorporate pop, rock, soul, funk, progressive rock and jazz into their music, the set up is notably detailed with a whole variety of session musicians drafted in to support the main band.

As the opening notes of 'Child's Anthem' fill the room, the crowd cheers as the veteran act takes it place. They did not achieve as greater commercial success in the UK as in their homeland yet the British audiences are receptive to their musicianship and the handful of tracks that did make the chart such as 'Rosanna' and 'Stop Loving You' receive big cheers from the crowds.

A brilliant cover of Michael Jackson's 'Human Nature' gets the crowd enthusiastically clapping and cheering along. Followed up by their biggest international hit 'Africa' of course receives huge bellows and cheers from the whole room. Enthusiasm appears to be in this band's American blood and as they wrap up with 'Home of The Brave' they seem incredibly happy with the show.

I have seen a lot of amazing musical groups over the years. Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Journey, Rush, Allan Holdsworth, Maynard Ferguson and so many others, but watching and listening to TOTO on their 35th year anniversary was over the top. I remember watching them in 1984 with a very rare meet and greet with Jeff Porcaro and thought wow these guys are good. Then over the years with I have seen them a dozen times or so and they just get better and better. Simon is so tight with his groves, both David and Steve P. nailing the keyboard parts is just awesome. Steve L. just brings it on every show but my wife and I were amazed at Joseph Williams. Damn that guy can sing! Not to mention that Amy Keys added to the whole experience. However, we will never forget meeting and speaking with each one of these amazing men. Even though I am a professional it was hard to come face to face with those who truly shaped the American music scene. It was just a great experience and true honor. We can hardly wait for their next album and performances.

I saw them in Dublin 5th April and paid for the VIP-experience as well. The guys weren`t in the best form, but it was amazing seeing them doing their soundcheck, Joseph Williams was chatting to the more curious fans - we were just standing there mesmerized..We got our photos taken with the band, our music sheet signed, got a keyring then we got escorted to the bar, and got back in before the rest of the crowd was let in, so in a way we all paid for having a spot in the front rows too..

They were brilliant! This was the end of the tour, so at some point you could see they`re only human and are tired, but they offered an exceptional music experience to us all! I can`t remember any other band playing this good live; yes, they did get older of course, but they are still masters of their instruments and the new band members fit in perfectly with them!

I could go on praising them, but I won`t.

They were amazing and that is that!!!

This was an absolutely AWESOME show by TOTO! In 40 years TOTO has only aged visibly; however, TOTO's music has evolved into the 21st century! TOTO not only entertained the audience at THE WARNER THEATRE with Its old hits and new compositions, TOTO wowed the audience with lead guitar solos that would have granted a nod from Eric Clapton, Steve Howe, and from the great Jimmy Hendrix, if he were still with Us. Also, TOTO made certain to include the audience of THE WARNER THEATRE in Its music performace by ordering Us on Our feet to sing & dance! In addition, TOTO gave Us a music history lesson by telling the audience who wrote the music score for the 1970's hit movie, JAWS and who wrote one of Michael Jackson's hit songs! Finally, a new member of TOTO, Xavier, a PRINCE rollover, wowed the audience with a classical music solo ... . Hopefully TOTO will keep Us entertained, in the future, with "50 Trips Around The Sun"!

I attended ToTo's "40 Trips Around The Sun" concert on Monday and was absolutely blown away by the amazing talent of this band. The band played a mix of songs, that they don't usually perform in concert, which included songs from their earlier work, as well as some fan favorites. The guys were on fire, full of energy and always entertaining the audience with their humor and enthusiasm. Loved it when the audience was encouraged to join in on some of the old favorites and when band members Steve Lukather, Joe Williams and Steve Porcaro sat down and reminisced about how certain songs came about and the stories behind their 40 plus year friendships.I would highly recommend seeing this fabulous band and I'm already looking forward to seeing them again!

This show was for true TOTO fans, many of whom have followed the band, as I have, since 1978 and were therefore made to feel part of the Forty Tours Around The Sun. Not only did the band play their most famous hits, they also did a semi-acoustic set in interview style to talk about how everything had started and played rarities from their 40 year history. I have seen TOTO many times but, with the addition of sax, harmonica and a new bassist/backing vocalist of world class, they sounded new and fresh! Like everyone else in the audience, my friend and I sang all the words and harmonies for every song! Simply the best TOTO show ever !!

Unfortunately the Scandinavian Congress Center in Århus, Denmark, did not give any justice for the amazing TOTO.

We stood on the floor during the whole concert and couldn't sene any of TOTO's members at all.

The sound dit NOT lave any space for the vokalists.. The bass-Sound was way too loud. I am very disappointed by the congresscenter, Where the concert took place..

Next time TOTO comes to Denmark we will look very much forward to se you amazing guys in Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning, Jutland, Denmark.

In Jyske Bank Boxen the sound is much, much better and the artists can be seen from any of the seats..

The premises of Hamburg's 'Mehr! Theater am Grossmarkt' were not built with an emphasis on music performances. A pity.

Toto did a good job to defend their reputation to be one of the world's most precise team play bands, but I can't stand the short versions of their greatest hits just in order to perform as many hits as possible in the given time frame. The latest two studio albums 'Falling in Between' and 'Toto XIV' were underrepresented although these albums are much more mature and musically challenging than the early ones.

TOTO is one of my favorites. They are pro-fessional musicians and I fell in love with their music back in the 80's. Saw them here in Hawaii when Santana played. My favorite song is "Africa". But I love all their songs, they nail the chords with perfection. I love David Paich, he is supercalafrajalisticexpealadocious! I can't wait to see them perform here in Hawaii again. It's been a long 12 years ago. I rip waves whiles listening to their songs in my head surfing. Mahalo for letting me share my heart out to TOTO!

TOTO Announces Early 2024 Headline Shows

TOTO , featuring guitarist Steve Lukather and singer Joseph Williams has announced details of the band's headline appearances in North America within the planned JOURNEY itinerary from February 2024 through April 2024. Additional shows will be shared in the coming weeks. A European tour will be staged in July/August, with seven performances in Germany announced today. The entire itinerary will be made public shortly which includes the band's return to the U.K.

For North America, an artist pre-sale goes live at 10 a.m. local time the morning of Tuesday, November 7 and ends at 10 p.m. local time Thursday evening (Password: DOGZOFOZ). Local pre-sales will open on Thursday with the public on-sale to follow Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for all appearances are available for purchase here .

The band's European tour will be staged in June 2024 and July 2024. General on-sale for appearances announced today will be live on Friday morning at 10 a.m. local time.

Over the past decade, TOTO has had a major renaissance in popularity like few bands at this point in their career. No individual statistic exhibits this more than achieving the milestone of over 3.4 billion streams at Spotify alone. The total plays of the band's collected works across all platforms is now approaching five billion. Amongst the most listened to recordings, "Africa" accounts for over one billion streams at Spotify alone. The song was recertified by the RIAA eight times platinum.

Individually and collectively, the band's family tree can be heard on an astonishing 5000 albums that together amass a sales history of a half a billion albums. Amongst these recordings, NARAS applauded the performances with hundreds of Grammy nominations. They are pop culture, and are one of the few 1970s bands that have endured the changing trends and styles while continuing to remain relevant.

Lukather , a.k.a. Luke , shares: "There is a refreshing, optimistic enthusiasm to step into the future.

"As long-tenured members of the band, Joe and I want to be on the road continuing to keep the original legacy of the band alive, bringing the music to our multi-generational fan base.

"In 2023, it was truly humbling to perform in front of close to a million fans. And for 2024, we'll stage appearances in front of even more across the globe.

"I've spent more than four and a half decades of my life nurturing this legacy, while enabling the music to continually exist in the live concert setting."

Williams offers: " Luke and I have been through a lot with one another. He's like a brother to me. Our creative partnership has always enriched our lives. As we look ahead, there is nothing but anticipation to bring everything in our minds to life. I can't think of anyone else on Earth I'd rather collaborate with. He is a lifelong, loyal and gifted friend and band mate…we've become The Dogz of Oz!"

Two and a half years ago, Lukather confirmed to Jeff Gaudiosi of MisplacedStraws.com that there are no plans for TOTO to record new music. "There's not gonna be another TOTO record," he said. "What we do is we continue doing what we do. Joe and I can make [solo] records and have some of the cats on it. And we can go out and play as TOTO . And if we get the audience, we pay off the people that sued us, and we go forward."

Lukather continued: "I'm gonna dig in. I don't roll over easily. I've taken a lot of punches over the last 45-plus years — whatever the hell it is; it's a long time. So I can take a punch, man, and I've taken a whole lot of 'em on falsities. But that's okay. It's behind me now. I let it all go. Peace and love to everybody. I don't carry around any hate. I'm, like, 'Okay, life changes. I'm sorry.' It broke my heart too. But it's like getting over a divorce — you've gotta get back on the horse again and do it. And that's what we plan on doing. There's no malicious vibe or, 'I'm gonna get even with anybody.' It's just such a waste of time. I don't wanna play the games anymore."
