Food Trucks and Wine
Food trucks offer a variety of cuisines, which can make it challenging to find the perfect wine pairing. However, there are some general guidelines to follow. For spicy dishes, a sweet wine like a Riesling or a Gewürztraminer can help balance out the heat. For savory dishes, a medium-bodied red like a Merlot or a Syrah would be a great choice. For lighter dishes like salads or sandwiches, a crisp white like a Sauvignon Blanc or a Pinot Grigio would be a good match.

Welcome to Slate Run Vineyard Winery
Slate Run Vineyard is a small farm winery that was opened in 1997 by Keith and Leslie Pritchard. Keith, an avid amateur winemaker since 1981, started planting grapes in 1985 to support his experimental winemaking pursuits. Quickly realizing that he planted too many grapes, Keith started selling them to other amateur winemakers and small wineries. By 1994, facing aging, burnout, and a wife that wanted to see him, Keith came to the realization that opening a winery would allow him to utilize all the skills and education that he developed previously in life.
Named for a small nearby creek, Slate Run Vineyard is in central Ohio, southeast of Columbus. We welcome you to visit us, to taste any of our 17 proprietary wines, and to purchase some to take home. We can also ship wine, but only within Ohio.

The Winery Loft at Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm Winery
Island hoppers and Lake Erie lovers will find lots to love here as the names of the rooms themselves suggest: There’s the Kelleys Island, Johnson’s Island, Bay Point and Lakeside. (A newer property, the Lake Erie Loft, is across the street.) The rooms are on the second and third floor of the former Marblehead Schoolhouse Building, and the winery is on the first floor. “Every guest gets a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival,” says owner Chris Redfern. “When you make reservations, we ask what kind you like. And for kids, there’s Marblehead Soda, our own label.” Rooms have upscale furnishings like granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, full kitchens and fireplaces. Winery happenings include trivia nights, live music and Friday-night flights with the winery’s sommelier. There is also an outdoor patio that is an ideal spot to enjoy a glass or two. Once the winery closes, overnight guests have use of the patio, the outdoor grill and the fire pit that can be stocked for lighting upon request. “You have the place to yourself, and no one is going to shoo you away,” says Redfern. “There’s a light breeze. We’re only one block from Lake Erie.” Speaking of one block from Lake Erie, guests can grab a bike from the inn and pedal on over or anywhere else they’d like to go, including the historic Marblehead Lighthouse. “It’s just like home. If you want to use a bike, use a bike,” Redfern says. “Just take one and go. If it breaks down, call us, and we’ll come pick you up.” 111 W. Main St., Marblehead 43440, 419/967-5344, redferninn.com

Columbus Recognized with Six USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards
COLUMBUS, Ohio—The votes are in, and six Columbus tours, attractions, restaurants and races are among the best in the country according to the prestigious USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards announced this month. The rankings further solidify Ohio’s capital as a must-visit destination for 2024 home to unique attractions and experiences, a vibrant waterfront and some of the best culinary offerings in the country. Columbus Food Adventures, which offers a dozen unique tours throughout Columbus’ neighborhoods, earned the No. 1 spot in the Best Food Tours for 2024 category. “From neighborhood walking tours to by-van excursions and private tours, Columbus Food Adventures offers a full menu of ways to meet the area's rich culinary scene," the article reads. Also landing in the top spot nationwide is the Worthington Farmers Market in the Best Farmers Market for 2024 category. The article highlights the market’s nearly 100 vendors and how they provide year-round fresh, local produce and artisanal goods. Columbus has been recognized as a must-visit food destination for 2024 according to Essence, and USA Today 10Best readers agree with two more national rankings that point to the city’s unique culinary offerings. Budd Dairy Food Hall was named the third Best Food Hall for 2024 nationwide while North Market was named the #8 Best Public Market for 2024 .
“The word is getting out that Columbus is an ideal place to visit, whether you’re coming with friends or family, for a special event or for business travel,” said Sarah Townes, ECI, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer at Experience Columbus. “While you’re here you can immerse yourself in our award-winning, chef-driven food scene, spend time outdoors along our expansive riverwalk and abundant green spaces or explore our unique and walkable neighborhoods.”
On top of those four accolades, earlier this month USA Today 10Best also recognized the Scioto Mile as one of the Best Riverwalks in the country, while the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon was named the nation’s #2 Best Half Marathon in 2024 . A panel of experts selects the nominees for each award. Then, after four weeks of public voting, the top 10 winners in each category are announced. Columbus' winning streak extends beyond USA Today's accolades. AFAR magazine recently named the city one of its favorite family destinations for 2024, while Midwest Living recognized The Junto for Best of the Midwest Lodging . Food & Wine also highlighted Columbus as a haven for bakery lovers , acknowledging the culinary prowess of local favorites like Dan the Baker and Belle's Bread. Chris Stapleton's hit tour runs through the rest of 2024 and early 2025, but tickets are selling out fast. If you're hoping to catch the country music star live, he has plenty of concert dates to attend this year, and there are many ways to buy Chris Stapleton tickets.
The All-American Road Show has been ongoing since 2017 and serves as Chris Stapleton's first solo headlining tour. However, after more than seven years on the road and nearly 200 shows, the "Tennessee Whiskey" singer will close the concert series in 2025. With the end of the horizon in sight for his long-running tour, the opportunity to catch Stapleton's All-American Road Show is growing slim with each passing show.
We've got you covered if you're looking for how to get tickets to Chris Stapleton's All-American Road Show concert tour in 2024. Here's our breakdown of the tour schedule, purchasing details, and prices for original and resale tickets. You can also browse ticket specifics on StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Chris Stapleton 2024 tour schedule
There are still over 40 shows remaining on the All-American Road Show Tour this year, with tickets for a few shows in 2025 already available. While his final 2024 show will land on December 7 in Las Vegas, Chris Stapleton's tour will conclude on March 8, 2025 in Auckland, New Zealand.
All concert times are listed in local time zones.
How to buy tickets for Chris Stapleton's 2024 concert tour
You can buy original tickets for Chris Stapleton's 2024 concert tour on Ticketmaster or Live Nation. However, the number of remaining original tickets is limited, as many concerts have been on sale for several months.
Plenty of resale tickets are also available through verified vendors such as StubHub and Vivid Seats . You'll find better luck getting seats through these resale sites for Chris Stapleton's shows that have already sold out of original tickets.
Ticket prices to see Chris Stapleton this year vary by date, location, and demand for each show. The cheapest standard original ticket prices start from $55 for Houston on August 24 to $465 for December 7 in Las Vegas. Resale ticket prices are generally comparable to original tickets or come in cheaper.
On StubHub, tickets range from $16 for Ridgedale, Missouri, on June 13 to $352 for Las Vegas. Similarly, Vivid Seats' cheapest available Chris Stapleton tickets range from $15 to $356 for the same dates. Overall, the two resale sites have comparable ticket prices, with Vivid Seats' options typically coming in at slightly lower prices.
VIP packages are also available at many Chris Stapleton shows for premium prices. Stapleton's All-American Road Show Tour offers two VIP experiences: the Single Barrel Experience and the Small Batch Experience. According to Chris Stapleton's website , Single Barrel VIP tickets start at $379, and Small Batch VIP tickets begin at $169. You can also use this site to check out which tour dates offer these VIP experiences.

Have nothing but positive things to say about Cork & Keg! They were super helpful and responsive during the planning and provided five star service on the day of. Our driver was fantastic too. He catered to us all day and kept us on track. We all enjoyed the wine and food and it was so nice just walking in and having everything ready to go for us at each stop. Highly recommend!

Hello Daisy, thank you for letting us share your birthday with you! So happy you enjoyed the wine at 50 West so much, will take you to their sister winery on your next tour! Cheers and thanks again for sharing your experience, we truly appreciate that ~Renee
What an amazing time! My husband and I and another couple did a tour of few spots in Middleburg. The company is run by Renee and Don who are the perfect dynamic duo and showed us a great time. We enjoyed their party van which was very clean and had great music playlists, karaoke, lights. We didn't do it but you can even submit photos to create a slideshow for a special occasion. Renee arranged for us to have a personalised charcuterie from the Cornichon which was incredible, was the best at taking pictures of us so we could capture the memories, and was constantly saving us time at each location because tables were reserved for us. I would recommend this to everyone and anyone

Absolutely loved having the chance to participate in a virtual wine tour with this company. I learned so much about wine and proper glassware that I'm now determined to restock my bar. The owner is a lot of fun and I hope to have a chance to do an in person tour once the global pandemic is over. Thank you for hosting us and allowing us to experience a little bit of a "wine-down" with you!

HI Shana- -thank you so much for your feedback and kind words- apologies for the delayed response! I had an amazing time on this tasting and I hope to come back again. Definitely would love to meet you on a tour someday- stay safe and let's sip soon! :)
Amazing experience! Renee was absolutely amazing. Everything was covid safe & very personal. We celebrated my friend birthday and would absolutely go back. Renee is very knowledgeable of all wines and has a great relationship with the wine vineyards. She made the entire trip very special. I can't wait to back!
Wow, thank you so much Angie! It was such a pleasure meeting you and your friends and giving you the VIP treatment across Loudoun wine country! Looking forward to you all coming back again, I have another 42 wineries to get you to! Cheers and keep that loyalty card handy! ~Renee
We had an outstanding outing with Cork and Keg tours this past Sunday. Renee and Don were excellent host, there vehicle is amazing and their organization was top notch. Every brewery we went to had reserved spaces for us, our drink and food orders were handled through them and paying the bill was very easy as they just give us the total for the day at the end of the trip. There are plently of limo/bus services out there that can get you around to different breweries/wineries but the passion Renee and Don bring to their tours cannot be replicated and really sets them apart. I hope to enjoy their company several more times in the future. Thank You for a wonderful experience, Lovettsville Oktoberfest

Used cork & Keg Tours during a bach party. We had an amazing time. Renee and Don were such a pleasure. They kept checking in on us at each stop to make sure everything was good. The party bus itself was more fun than anything. We did not want to get off. Definitely recommend Cork & Keg Tours.
