Fozzy to Embark on Fall 2017 U.S. Tour With Gemini Syndrome + More
You better hit one of these Fozzy shows or Chris Jericho is going to put you on 'The List!' With the new album Judas set to arrive on Oct. 13, the group will embark on a headlining tour this fall with support coming from Gemini Syndrome and The Stir.
More tour date announcements will be coming in the future, but for now, the run is slated to begin on Sept. 16 in Minnesota, working the Midwest before venturing eastward with stops in the Northeast, extending down the coast and finishing up in North Carolina on Oct. 8. See the full list of cities below as well as the promotional poster for the jaunt.
In May, Fozzy released the title track from Judas , which served as the first single from the album. The song has been met with an overwhelming response, receiving over seven million plays on YouTube alone and topping iTunes charts in eight countries. Jericho initially received some pushback regarding "Judas" as the single, telling us (vide below), “There was a big argument at the record company and the band of what song should be the first single. At first, ‘Judas’ was not even the first choice or the second choice. I had to go to bat for it and call the head of Century Media, Don Robertson, and say, ‘Don, this is the song,’ and Don agreed.”
Meanwhile, Gemini Syndrome will be promoting their 2016 offering, Memento Mori . The group will be on the road for some additions dates prior to the Fozzy trek and vocalist Aaron Nordstrom commented, "We are excited to announce the first few dates of this fall run including the dates supporting Fozzy. This will be the last conversion of the year before we start working on a new record. Come see us on the road and get prepared for the next chapter."
Jericho will also host the Loudwire Music Awards ceremony and concert on Oct. 24 later this year. The event will honor both Tony Iommi and Rob Halford with performances coming from Halestorm , Power Trip , Body Count and Starset with more to be announced. For more details, head to this location .

We know Chris Jericho will be around in WWE at least through early April because he’s defending the United States championship against Kevin Owens in a featured match at WrestleMania 33 on April 2 in Orlando. There is a second Raw brand pay-per-view that month, the Payback show on April 30 in San Jose, and Jericho is currently advertised for it on WWE.com.
He is not advertised for shows in May, however, and that’s because his band, Fozzy, is going on tour. He announced the dates for it today:
Excited to announce the first leg of the #JudasRisingTour w our friends in @kyngband & @sonsoftexas! Go to fozzyrock.com for all ticket & VIP package info!! It's gonna be A BLAST!! (More dates added soon.) May 5- Virginia Beach, VA May 6- Canton, GA May 7- Charlotte, NC May 9- Knoxville, TN May 10- Louisville, KY May 11- TBA May 12- Ashwaubenon, WI May 13- TBA May 16- Pittsburgh, PA May 17- Lancaster, PA May 18- Patchogue, NY May 19- Asbury Park, NJ May 20- Winchester, VA May 23- Flint, MI May 24- Joliet, IL May 25- TBA May 26- Pryor, OK May 27- San Antonio, TX A post shared by Chris Jericho (@chrisjerichofozzy) on Mar 10, 2017 at 7:57am PST
You’ll notice each Monday is open but that doesn’t mean he’ll be in WWE for it. As mentioned, he isn’t currently advertised for May shows, though he is advertised for shows in June, so he could be simply taking one month off.
We sure will miss him, no matter how long he’s gone.

Fozzy was great! They had the crowd singing, screaming, and just overall killed it. One of the highlights is definitely Billy Grey's interactions with the crowd while playing. I would definitely recommend for anyone to attend a Fozzy show whether you're a fan or not.

FOZZY ANNOUNCE 25TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR BAND TO HIT THE ROAD TO CELEBRATE TWO-PLUS DECADES OF NONSTOP ROCK THIS FALL TOUR KICKS OFF ON OCTOBER 3 IN GEORGIA + RUNS THROUGH OCTOBER 21 IN CLEVELAND THE NOCTURNAL AFFAIR + CLOZURE TO APPEAR
Living up to their unabashed and uncaged reputation, FOZZY will be gearing up for their 25th Anniversary tour starting October 3 at Madlife Studios in Woodstock, Georgia. The tour runs through October 21 in Cleveland. Special guests The Nocturnal Affair and Clozure are set to appear. All currently confirmed dates are below. Get tickets here .
With the superstar showmanship of frontman Chris Jericho tag-teamed with guitar genius Rich Ward , FOZZY is a band that delivers a truly rock ‘n’ roll experience — a sonic assault of headbanging riffs, energy, and most importantly, amazing songs. The backbone of FOZZY’s sound comes from the killer combination of Grant Brooks on drums, bassist PJ Farley, and Billy Grey leading the charge on guitar shredding solos. With every audience in every country, every show is a guaranteed electric performance, fueled by the crowd chants of “Fozzy! Fozzy! Fozzy!”
“It’s hard to believe that a band that was once accused of being a ‘wrestler’s vanity project,’ has now amassed six Top 10 Mainstream Rock Radio hits, released eight albums, toured the world in over 20 countries, and earned a GOLD RECORD…..but we have and we’ve been doing it for 25 YEARS,” Jericho exclaims. “Not many bands can say that, and out of the ones that can, not many of those can say they are currently at their creative, artistic, and commercial peaks. Yet Fozzy can and we are damn proud of it! That’s why we are so excited to bring our 25th anniversary celebration to your city over the next 18 months, starting in October. We have built a reputation of being a band you don’t wanna miss, and we take great pride in that because it’s the truth!”
He finishes, “So, as always, crank up the music, buy your tickets early, and wear a helmet. Because this is our 25th Year Rock ‘N’ Roll Party…and we aren’t f’ing around. See you soon!”
Having paid their dues with endless touring eight previous albums, sharing the stage with a pantheon of rock icons such as Metallica, KISS, and Iron Maiden, it was the release of JUDAS that elevated the band into the rarified group of acts to cross over from the rock and metal world into mainstream consciousness. The title track has been streamed over 100 million times on major streaming platforms, earned Gold RIAA status, and was sung word-for-word by 81,000 fans when FOZZY performed at AEW’s record-breaking Wembley Stadium show. Fozzy are experiencing their highest success to date, recently landing their sixth Top 10 single with “ Spotlight ,” which currently sits in the Billboard and Mediabase Top 10. FOZZY ON TOUR: WITH THE NOCTURNAL AFFAIR + CLOZURE: 10/3 — Woodstock, GA — Madlife 10/4 — Jacksonville, FL — Underbellys 10/5 — Tampa, FL — Orpheum Theater 10/6 — Destin, FL — Club LA 10/7 — Birmingham, AL — Saturn 10/10 — Greenville, SC — Radio Room 10/11 — Charlotte, NC — Underground 10/12 — Leesburg, VA — Tally Ho Theater 10/13 — Lititz, PA — Mickey’s Black Box 10/14 — Albany, NY — Empire Live 10/17 — New York, NY — Gramercy Theater 10/18 — Philadelphia, PA — The Foundry 10/19 — Columbus, OH — The King of Clubs 10/20 — Flint, MI — Machine Shop

More on Fozzy: After touring the world and building a loyal fanbase for the better part of twenty years, Fozzy is the epitome of what a killer rock n roll band should be: catchy, groovy, hooky, sweaty, and most importantly, a GREAT EFFEN TIME!
With six consecutive TOP 20 singles, Fozzy is steadily becoming one of the most successful bands on Modern Rock Radio, with their breakthrough massive smash song “Judas” achieving Gold Record status of 500,000 units sold in February of 2022!
Rich Ward is one of the most versatile, talented riff machines & songwriters in rock n roll today. Chris Jericho’s skills as a frontman are second to none and his vocal style & range are both powerful and instantly recognizable. The spirited drumming of Grant Brooks compliments the blazing solos of Billy Grey and the rock star energy of bassist PJ Farley. These are five seasoned pros, whose electricity and charisma light up every stage they play on and every crowd they perform for. As a result, it’s no surprise that Fozzy has skyrocketed into one of the hottest rock acts in the world today.
The band inched up the ladder after releasing four progressively popular studio albums in the 2000’s. However, it was 2012’s “Sin And Bones”, which featured the hit single “Sandpaper” (over 4.6 MILLION views on YouTube) that found the band reaching a level of legitimacy that drew a mass audience to drink in their trademark heavy melodic groove. The album eventually reached #143 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, but it was their next album, “Do You Wanna Start A War” (produced by Ward), released in the summer of 2014, that really blew the door open, debuting at #54 on Billboard and giving the band their first top 30 single in “Lights Go Out” which was blared in sports arenas nationwide.
But as much success as the band had enjoyed, nothing compared to the juggernaut of 2017’s “Judas” album. Released in May 2017, the aforementioned title track spent 5 weeks at NUMBER ONE on the highly influential ‘Big Uns Countdown’ on Sirius/XM’s Octane channel, amassed over 62 MILLION views for its video on YouTube, cracked the TOP 5 on the US Rock Radio Charts and is still heard by millions of fans worldwide weekly on TBS Network’s hugely popular “AEW Dynamite” program. The follow-up singles “Painless” hit Number 9 on the charts (11 MILLION views on YouTube), “Burn Me Out” peaked at Number 18. The current record “Boombox” features “Nowhere To Run” which cracked the Top Ten, “Sane”, (with its roller coaster themed video – one of the most thrilling & heart stopping ever made) landing at Number 8 followed by “I Still Burn” which peaked at #7, scoring a trifecta of singles for “Boombox” released May 6, 2022. Now, with those massive songs in their arsenal, Fozzy has returned to the road with tours in the US, UK, and Australia. After sharing the stage in recent years with Metallica, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Slash, Three Days Grace, Nickelback, Steel Panther & Buckcherry, Fozzy is stoked to continue to bring good times and kick ass tunes to their fans around the world… and elsewhere! So get ready to experience the majesty and power of Fozzy LIVE once again and for Judas’ sake…please wear a helmet!

More on Seventh Day Slumber: As a consistent force in the music industry for nearly 20 years, Seventh Day Slumber still performs over 150 dates per year. The band has brought a fresh new feel to their signature sound, creating the heaviest and most powerful music of their career. The title track of their 2022 album “Death By Admiration” was co-written with Telle Smith and features The Word Alive. Produced by Memphis May Fire’s Kellen McGregor, “Death By Admiration” debuted at #69 on the Billboard Top 200 and landed a top 25 position on Billboards Mainstream Rock Chart. The energy and momentum of their latest release led to several nationwide tours, including direct support for Fozzy on their upcoming “Save The World Tour” and Saliva’s recent winter tour. The band is currently back in the studio with Kellen McGregor working on their follow-up album, “Feasting On Vultures,” slated to drop on September 22nd. Check out www.seventhdayslumber.com for tour dates.
More on The Nocturnal Affair: The Nocturnal Affair is an alternative/dark rock project headed by singer/songwriter Brendan Shane, from Las Vegas. The band’s crushing and melancholic musical style is an ode to darker alternative music torchbearers like Type O Negative, HIM, David Bowie, Gary Numan, and Nine Inch Nails. They capture a uniquely haunting sound steeped in downtrodden melodies enveloped in the darkness.
The band released their debut single, “Down”, on Earache Records in November of 2021, from their first album, (META)MORPHOSIS, which was produced by Grammy-nominated Disturbed bassist, John Moyer. To coincide with the release of the album in April of 2022, the band embarked on their first national tour opening for rock veterans, Fozzy. In the fall of 2022 The Nocturnal Affair hit the road again for shows with Beartooth, Gemini Syndrome, and Earshot. The group has performed alongside a wide array of artists from heavy metal heavyweights like HELLYEAH, Asking Alexandria, and Pop Evil, as well as Industrial rockers My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. They have toured with the vampiric act The 69 Eyes while also being accessible enough to share the stage with notable mainstream acts like 3 Doors Down and Black Stone Cherry.
Their latest single “It’s No Good” is their take on Depeche Mode’s chart-topping hit from ‘97. An homage to some of the music that made Nocturnal who they are. To coincide with this release, The Nocturnal Affair embarked on Spring and Summer tours with both Fozzy and Smile Empty Soul, respectively. “It’s No Good” has been climbing the SMR charts, breaking the Top 20 in only a few weeks. A follow-up single and further national touring is projected for this Fall.
More on Magdalene Rose: Magdalene Rose is a powerhouse of raw talent and passion, known for her energetic vocals and powerful and catchy metal music. After starting out in the all-female rock band GFM, Magdalene has since gone on to make a name for herself with her solo project, backed by a group of insanely talented musicians. Magdalene Rose is a master of metal, with an infectious energy and a fiercely devoted fan base. Her highly successful single, Shark Spray, is out now.

SEBASTIAN BACH Blasts 'Prick' CHRIS JERICHO Over Name Of FOZZY Tour
Sebastian Bach has blasted Chris Jericho over the name of FOZZY 's 2017 tour, apparently implying that he came up with the moniker first.
Back in September 2017, FOZZY announced the "Fozzy Across America" tour during which it planned to play three live shows in three separate cities and three different time zones in just one day, a feat that apparently had never been attempted before by any other act.
Earlier today (Friday, October 16), Bach shared a couple of t-shirt designs from his former band, SKID ROW , and he included the following message: " Fozzy Across America ? Really? Are you fucking serious? As much as you wish rock and roll was wrestling, rock and roll is not wrestling. In rock and roll you're supposed to think up your own shit. I love VAN HALEN but I don't have a song called Running With the Devil . I love JUDAS PRIEST but I don't have a song called Judas . Or Priest .
" Skids Across America check out this t-shirt that I designed in the year 1989. I remember how proud I was when I thought of this branding and how happy I was that the band liked it too.
"It never ends with this prick".
This is not the first time Bach has called out Jericho over something related to FOZZY . Three months ago, Bach accused Jericho of using pre-recorded vocal tracks during the band's live performances. On July 16, Jericho challenged Bach to a "singoff" with "no effects, no tuning, no bullshit" in response to Sebastian 's allegation. " Bas is a great singer...but I'm better," Chris wrote on Twitter ." The wrestler-turned-singer added: "I've never mimed anything ever! I will fucking sing in your face anytime, anyplace dude. I've been a fan & a defender of u since day one...but don't u ever question my rock abilities!" Bach fired back: " You're full of s*** bro. Every clip on the Internet is you miming to a tape. I will sing in your f****** face anytime. Wrestling is not rock and roll. I will show you f****** rock and roll. Check your texts set up The Sing-Off I am ready when you are".
When Bach first went public with his Jericho accusation, FOZZY guitarist Rich Ward called Sebastian "universally disliked" and said that seeing Bach "publicly go after the only guy that I have ever witness utter a nice word about him is sad."
Sebastian , who has been outspoken about rock bands using pre-recorded backing tracks during live shows, later tried to explain his outburst, writing: "I'm not trying to beat anybody at anything. I'm actually trying to say hey Chris maybe you're right maybe I'll stop singing live and prance around while the tape is playing just like you do Chris . I'm tired of trying so hard it's like beating my head against the wall."
After a self-proclaimed Bach fan called Sebastian "an asshat" on Twitter for firing "the first shots" in his war of words with Jericho , Bach came back with: "Hey man f*** you. I have spent my life learning how to sing live on stage. When someone comes along and mimes to a tape it sucks for all of the rest of us that don't. You want to go see a wrestling match good. Don't call it rock and roll".

To be fair, Hands Across American happened in 1986. Definitely not as metal, though. 🤣 pic.twitter.com/fxYQjVG5Wf — Nina Osegueda 🤘 (@DuchessODork) October 16, 2020
