An Essex Youtuber has moved into an incredible new family home - and it looks absolutely stunning.

For Emily Norris, 2020 has been a busy year as between the two national lockdowns, she has enjoyed family staycations, celebrated her wedding anniversary and even moved home.

On October 19, the Norris family moved into their new home and Emily has been vlogging the whole thing.

From the large garden overlooking miles of countryside with stunning sunset views to the spacious rooms and modern interior - their home is ultimate house goals.

Who is Emily Norris?

Originally born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Emily moved to Essex when she was 14-years-old.

Emily once worked in Marketing and PR, but she's now a full time YouTuber who regularly shares helpful and positive motherhood content.

Emily started her YouTube channel  as a hobby back in 2014 whilst on maternity leave.

Over the past six years, she has built up a large social media following of 621,000 YouTube subscribers and 128,000 Instagram followers.

Her content ranges from mum hacks to daily cleaning routines, and she has also worked with big brands including Pampers, Johnson's, Disney and Tesco to name a few.

More recently, Emily's vlogs have been centered around moving into her new home with her three sons, Fraser, Caleb and Jackson, and husband, Matt.

To mark the final day inside their old home, Emily shared an emotional post with her Instagram followers.

She wrote: "As a kid I moved around a lot, I’ve never been sentimental about buildings or places, but this home was different.

"We’ve lived here for a decade. We’ve renovated it to our taste. Every baby first has happened here. I gave birth here. So much laughter and love has filled it’s walls and there have been so many sleepless nights pacing it’s floors.

"But before I start crying (again) we are SO excited for the next chapter in a home with a bit more space for these young men to grow into.

"At least I have around 900 YouTube videos in this home to look back on when I miss it."

In a previous post, she mentioned how she had "nearly given up hope" that moving into their new home would ever happen.

After unpacking and sorting all the utilities, the Norris' enjoyed half term in their new home.

Inside the Norris home

Emily set up a new Instagram account to document the renovation journey of her new home.

She shared some beautiful photos inside her home with her 40,000 followers, including the conservatory, games room, kitchen, newly renovated bedrooms and the beautiful sunset views.

The living room

Emily plans to carpet the front room and turn it into a "grown up sitting room".

The room has one of three fire places throughout the house and has a large window overlooking the driveway.

The hallway

The first thing behind most front doors is the hallway, and the first impressions when it comes to homes really do count.

Having not had a proper hallway in their old home, Emily says she is most excited about making use of this space.

The kitchen.

The current kitchen looks somewhat dated but Emily has big plans to create her dream kitchen.

Her plans involve turning the conservatory space into the kitchen area with glass bi-fold doors leading out to the garden.

The games room

With three young sons, what better use of space than converting a room into a games room.

Emily wrote: "As the boys get older, their toys become smaller (just more expensive!), so we feel this room will naturally become a more grown up games room.

"Matt's dream (for the “boys” apparently) is to have a full size pool table and a gaming area. I actually think this would work really well and be the boys social space."

The conservatory

Emily seem a bit unsure about conservatories.

She said: "Conservatories were all the rage 20/30 years ago when people wanted to add a room, especially a bright space.

"The light in it is incredible. But for us the cons far out weigh the pros. Our main issue is that it will be too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer.

"We had one in our old house for 3 years and we were not sad to see it go!"

How stunning are the sunset views from the garden?

Emily and Matt enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset together, and what better view could they possibly have?  

The spacious garden, and trampoline, has also kept the kids busy.

Emily wrote: "Since we’ve been here we have seen a change in the boys, far less screen time, mostly outdoors, more use of their toys (as they’re not stacked up in the garage) and a real buzz about them.

"This could all change as lockdown begins tomorrow here!"
