L ive comedy’s internationally acclaimed and award-winning Irish observational master Jimeoin brings his ever-evolving and hilarious new tour  Jimeoin: The Craic! to theatres across the UK and Ireland in 2022-2023.

Renowned and much loved as a comedian with a very wide appeal and a cheeky, no gimmicks and superbly observed sense of fun, Jimeoin keeps his audiences in stitches all over the UK, Europe, USA and his adopted Australian homeland.

Jimeoin left his Northern Irish home in Portstewart in the 1990’s and settled in Australia where he fell into his comedy career by chance after a friend dared him to get up at an open mic night in Sydney. His disarmingly relaxed and often nonsensical humour fast led him to becoming a household name, and he has achieved the remarkable feat of evolving his comedy and remaining at the top of his game for well over 30 years. His Edinburgh fringe debut in 1993 completely sold out to rave reviews and he has returned most years ever since (27 sold out runs to date). Jimeoin regularly performs extensive sell-out tours of Australia, UK and Ireland, he sold out his solo season off-Broadway in New York. He has written and starred in 2 feature films, had multiple TV series in Australia and Ireland and released a dozen comedy specials.  

Jimeoin has starred on ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘Live at the Apollo’, ‘Sunday Night at the Palladium’, ‘Conan O’Brien’ and has hundreds of millions of views of his online and social media comedy clips as well as his hilarious “Gag-a-day” posts throughout the pandemic. The sound system in Croydon let him down. Too quiet. Every time someone coughed (it's winter so happened a lot) I missed a word that was often crucial to the punchline.

All ticket prices on this website are published inclusive of booking fees. For tickets up to and including £10, a fee of £1 per ticket will be charged. For tickets between £10.01 and £15, a fee of £1.50 per ticket will be charged. For tickets between £15.01 and £25, a fee of £2.50 per ticket will be charged. For tickets over £25, a fee of £3.50 per ticket will be charged. Seen a lot of stand up over the years and can't think of a funnier performance. I was laughing so hard at times it was hard to breathe. Audience was buzzing. Will definitely go to see him again!

Another brilliant performance from Jimeoin! Great from start to finish, can't take your eyes off him as his body language and faces are so much of his act. Fantastic and look forward to next years return. Didn't realise he met ones after the event, a shame for would liked to have thanked him personally, much needed laughs for everyone.

Jimeoin was born in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, and grew up in Portstewart, Northern Ireland, but moved to Australia at the age of 22. He lives in Melbourne, but frequently returns to the UK. His first TV appearance down under was on the stand-up show The Big Gig in 1991, and he subsequently landed a regular role on the sketch show Full Frontal. In 1994, ghe starred in two series of his own, eponymous comedy series for the Seven network. Other Australian TV credits include Rove, Thank God You're Here, Spicks and Specks and Good News Week - while in the UK he appeared on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow in 2010 and Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford in 2011.

A combined travelogue and stand-up show he filmed across the north of Australia was shown on both BBC Northern Ireland in 2008 and Australia's Comedy Channel in 2010.

He has starred in and co-written two Australian film comedies, 1999's The Craic and 2005's The Extra, both co-starring his regular collaborator Bob Franklin
