Kevin Nealon is an Emmy and SAG-nominated actor and comedian who sets himself apart from other comedic performers with his unique sense of humor, dry wit and likable demeanor. Nealon is best known for his nine-year stint as a cast member of NBC’s Saturday Night Live , and received critical acclaim for his role in the hit Showtime series Weeds . Kevin currently produces and hosts his digital series Hiking with Kevin , and tours his stand-up globally. He released his latest book, I Exaggerate: My Brushes with Fame (Abrams), in 2022. Part art book, part memoir — the book is full of original full-color caricatures Kevin has created along with funny, endearing personal essays about his famous friends. Nealon’s extensive television credits include the CBS sitcom, Man With a Plan , in which he starred alongside Matt LeBlanc; Showtime’s Weeds , which ran for eight seasons and was honored at the 2006, 2007 and 2009 Golden Globes with nominations for “Best Television Series Comedy or Musical.” In 2007 and 2009, Weeds was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.” Additional television roles include two critically acclaimed stand-up specials for Showtime; and a number of appearances on Hot In Cleveland , Franklin & Bash , Monk , Curb Your Enthusiasm and Still Standing . Nealon’s self-produced, edited, and hosted web series Hiking with Kevin is exclusively available on his YouTube channel of the same name. In the series, Kevin interviews his A-list celebrity friends on hikes throughout the country. Past guests include Michael Keaton, Jimmy Kimmel, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Cheryl Hines, Ray Romano, Al Franken, Hilary Swank, Kumail Nanjiani, Kate Beckinsale, Conan O’Brien, Adam Sandler, and more. Nealon has found great comedic success in his extensive film career. In Anger Management , he played opposite Jack Nicholson and fellow SNL comedian, Adam Sandler. He and Sandler also teamed up in Eight Crazy Nights , The Wedding Singer , Happy Gilmore , Just Go With It , Blended , and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan , the latter of which grossed over $200 million worldwide. In Joe Dirt , Nealon joined another SNL alumnus David Spade. Additional film credits include Daddy Day Care with Eddie Murphy, Good Boy with Molly Shannon, Bucky Larsen: Born to be a Star with Nick Swardson, Roxanne with Steve Martin and the cult hit Grandma’s Boy , also with Nick Swardson and Jonah Hill. As one of the longest running cast members on NBC’s Saturday Night Live (1986-1995), Nealon created some of the show’s most memorable characters, including ‘The Subliminal Man’ and ‘Hans and Franz.’ Nealon’s recurring role as an anchor on ‘Weekend Update’ helped make the sketch a show staple. Brushes With Fame: Kevin Nealon Paints Hollywood

Kevin Nealon ’s new book, I Exaggerate: My Brushes With Fame , reveals a well-kept secret talent of the former Saturday Night Live cast member, stand-up comedian, and actor: caricature.

Due out on October 25, the handsome coffee-table-ready book is a collection of 56 portraits of and stories about a bevy of SNL colleagues ( Dana Carvey , Chris Farley, Lorne Michaels ), comedy icons (Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Steve Martin ), musicians ( Robert Plant, Brad Paisley ), actors ( Tilda Swinton, Christopher Walken, Elizabeth Taylor) and other era-defining legends ( Buzz Aldrin, Howard Stern, Ruth Bader Ginsburg).

Nealon, 68, became interested in drawing at the age of eight. “Even as a child I was told I had a talent for drawing,” he writes. As an SNL cast member from 1986 to 1995, he sketched fellow cast members and show hosts in the margins of his scripts during table reads. When he flies to stand-up gigs around the world, he surreptitiously sketches fellow passengers.

“But I never pursued it with much focus or passion until recently,” he writes.

What changed? Part of it was learning how to paint on a digital tablet in 2019. But prior to that, he tells Vanity Fair, he made a decision when he turned 60 to more fully commit to facing his fears and looking for things that scare him so he can confront them.

“Like this interview,” he jokes.

Vanity Fair : In caricature, as in comedy, timing is everything. Why now for this book?

Kevin Nealon: It’s funny you say that, because my close friends know I draw, but it’s a well-kept secret, I guess. I never really had a lot of confidence in my drawing, so I didn’t really show them to a lot of people. But friends liked them; they’d bring me back pens from wherever they were traveling, or I’d get a lot of sketchpads for gifts. I have about 20 sketchpads in my closet.

I started gaining confidence and committed to it. I took lessons from an artist that I like. I started Skyping with him right before the pandemic. A lot of these [paintings in the book] were drawn during the pandemic. As we were coming out of it, I was working on the road and I would be in every hotel room drawing a different caricature. I remember drawing (a caricature of) Freddie Mercury in a hotel room in Indianapolis. It was a nice distraction for me.

You talk about your facility for drawing as a child. When you went to fairs, did you pay attention to the caricaturists?

Oh my God, I would stand behind that person for hours to watch them draw, and look at how they started and what characteristics they chose to exaggerate. Also, I actually had caricature pastels of my parents separately framed hanging on the wall in my bedroom. They were really good ones by some Parisian artist. I would look at them every night on the wall. Subconsciously, I was studying the art of caricature.

What made you decide to finally commit to studying painting?

When I turned 60, I made a promise to myself to start doing the things I thought about doing all my life, but never put the time into. Dress rehearsal was over. Right up near the top was drawing caricatures and doing the best I could. The other was learning to speak Spanish; I’ve been taking Spanish twice a week. I’m also learning to play the piano.

I also made a promise to confront my fears. Two of them were doing The Howard Stern Show and Real Time with Bill Maher . I had a blast. It gave my life so much invigoration. I was floating on cloud nine.

You’re a comedian, an actor and you have written a book. What creative itch does painting scratch for you?

During the pandemic, I couldn’t work. Until then I was doing standup comedy almost every weekend. Even when I was on SNL , I never stopped doing standup. It’s been part of my bone marrow. When the pandemic hit, doing comedy online didn’t work for me because you couldn’t hear the audience. I turned to drawing caricatures. It was similar to doing standup in that in standup you exaggerate things. That’s what I was doing with my caricatures.

Also, when I was traveling and the plane was stuck on a tarmac, I would get claustrophobic. I would always keep a sketch pad. If I was getting those feelings, I’d start drawing and escape into that drawing whatever it was. It’s amazing how fast time goes by when you’re drawing and you’re focused on that.

Do you remember the first caricature you created when you were at SNL ?

I don’t specifically remember, but it was probably someone who had the most outstanding features, like Conan O’Brien or Chris Farley.

Are there some subjects who resist caricature? I was thinking of someone like Phil Hartman, who is not represented in the book.

Totally. I’ve taken on some actresses that are very beautiful. It took me the longest to do Daisy Edgar-Jones . Every time I would finish a picture, it was more like a portrait; there was nothing exaggerated. This was months of trying to paint her. Finally, I put it down and came back to it. For some reason, I broke through that wall and I exaggerated the hell out of her (laughs).

You write about sharing your work on Instagram and getting feedback from other artists. Was there specific feedback that you took to heart?

I follow a lot of artists like Jason Seiler on Instagram . I was always in the comedy world, but this is a whole other ballgame. It is like a portal that opened for me. I am just in awe of the talent of these people. When I got into standup, I learned from watching Robin Williams, Andy Kaufman and David Letterman [each represented in the book]. I’m currently learning from the best in the business. They are mentoring me and I love it. I joined a group, the International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA). They have a convention every year and I went to the one in Vegas last year. They had me show some of my drawings. It was nerve-wracking talking to these professionals. Their work has graced the cover of Time magazine and different journals, and there I was trying to give a talk about my process (laughs).

I’d like your comments on a few of my favorite caricatures in the book. Jim Carrey is almost a human caricature, but your painting presents a more blissful portrait .

I did two paintings of Jim Carrey . The first was very bleak. It looked like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. It was not like the Jim Carrey we know. That was my favorite one, but we couldn’t find the photographer that took the reference photo, so we kept that out of the book. The one you’re looking at is a little less glum.

In the painting of Johnny Carson, I love the elongated grin on his face. I’ve interviewed several comedians who’ve said that no one enjoyed it more when a comedian scored on his show than Johnny. What was your experience with him when you appeared on The Tonight Show in 1984?

I’ll never forget that moment with Johnny Carson throwing his head back and laughing. To this day, it remains the highlight of my career, more so than SNL and Weeds .

Your caricature of Garry Shandling evokes his spiritual side. You two were very close. Was his caricature particularly challenging for you?

Yes and no. Each one of these is a labor of love for me. They take a long time. I spent a lot of time with Garry. I was drawing a face I looked at so many times over the years. I knew every feature on him; I almost didn’t need the reference picture. As I drew him, I was thinking about our lives together, and it really was a connection I had with him.

Will there be a sequel to the book?

There will definitely be a sequel. I saw Reese Witherspoon the other night and she was hoping she was in the book. I’ll put her in the next one. I’ll be a better artist by then, too. I’ll look back on this book one day and go, “Whoa, I was just coming out of the gate then.”

Whatever Happened To Kevin Nealon?

Comedian and actor  Kevin Nealon made a name for himself as part of the "Saturday Night Live" cast between 1986 and 1995. He made audiences laugh with original characters and spot-on impressions of other celebrities and also served as an anchor for the popular "Weekend Update" segment, giving some of his most memorable comedic performances while delivering satirical news. After his successful run on "SNL," Nealon entered the film world with roles in multiple Adam Sandler -led projects including Gary Potter in "Happy Gilmore"  and Stanley the Gatekeeper in "Little Nicky."

In addition to these film roles, Nealon also appeared in all eight seasons of the popular Showtime series "Weeds." In a 2012 interview with Rolling Stone , Nealon explained that he and his character, Doug Wilson, have very opposite personalities, but that he still enjoyed the experience of being on the show. Although it may seem as if Nealon's career slowed down after "Weeds" went off the air in 2012, the multi-talented performer has expanded his horizons and found new creative passions.

Instead of limiting himself to film roles, Nealon has spent several years immersing himself in various projects. For example, his resume now includes being a visual artist, a web series producer, and a charity fundraiser. Most notably, he has continued to do what he does best: stand-up comedy. Overall, Nealon appears to be living a full life and enjoying success on his terms.

He started a family

As "Weeds" kicked off in 2005, Nealon's personal life also entered a new chapter. That same year he married Susan Yeagley, an actress who has had roles in television and film projects since the '90s. Fans may recognize her from minor parts in films like "Coyote Ugly" and "Almost Famous," as well as a nine-episode appearance in the comedy series "Rules Of Engagement." According to People, the couple married in Bellagio, Italy, in a small ceremony. After just two years of marriage, the couple became parents. Nealon's son, Gable — his first and only child — was born when the comedian was 53 years old.

During an appearance on the "For The Love With Jen Hatmaker Podcast,"  Nealon and Yeagley opened up on their marriage and parenthood and Nealon explained that he was excited to have a child because he felt that fatherhood was always meant to be part of his life. The couple has been married for over 15 years and both continue to have successful acting careers while maintaining their small family.

He takes celebrities hiking

In recent years, many creators have turned to the web series format to share their unique content. In 2017, Nealon launched a YouTube series he calls "Hiking With Kevin."  In the show, Nealon takes a different celebrity on a hike every week and interviews them about various subjects. Each episode is relaxed and conversational, and audiences see the beauty of the hiking trails outside Los Angeles and Malibu. In a September 2022 interview with The Los Angeles Times , Nealon shared that hiking is one of his passions. He also noted that many people feel more comfortable opening up to him in this informal style than they might in a traditional interview.

The series is now in its fourth season and has featured some big-name guests including Adam Sandler, Conan O'Brien, Courteney Cox, Martin Short, Kristen Bell, and Kumail Nanjiani. Although many of his guests are comedians, Nealon has also interviewed musicians, athletes, dramatic actors, and authors. As the show progressed, Nealon began to explore hiking in international locations. For example, a Season 4 promo on YouTube shows Nealon traversing a hiking trail in Ireland. As he wanders the route, Nealon explains the many sights he passes along the way. "Hiking With Kevin" has over 100 episodes and counting, and Nealon shows no signs of slowing down production.

He continued voice acting

Nealon frequently appears in live-action roles, but he also has some voice-acting credits to his name. For instance, he voices Gary Stein in a 2020 episode of the animated series "Mike Tyson Mysteries." In the episode ("The Stein Way), Nealon delivers a memorable and zany performance, which also allowed him to reunite with his former "SNL" castmate, the late Norm MacDonald.

Nealon also cameos in Season 18, Episode 14 ("The Movement") of "Family Guy"  in which he accompanies Carter Pewterschmidt to a baseball game. In addition to these two roles, Nealon has also made voice cameos in a handful of other adult animated series such as "American Dad!" and "SuperMansion."

However, one of Nealon's most recognizable voice-acting roles is as Glenn Martin in "Glen Martin DDS." This irreverent family comedy ran for two seasons as part of Nickelodeon's late-night program block, Nick at Nite. It follows former dentist Glenn Martin and his family as they journey across America in a Winnebago. The series co-creator, Eric Fogel, the brains behind "Celebrity Deathmatch," uses similar stop-motion animation for the show. Although the series was ultimately canceled after two seasons, it represents Nealon's most significant voice-acting project to date.

He taught a new generation of comics

Although Nealon's comedy mostly appeals to adults, the performer shared his skills with a new audience in 2014. Nealon teamed with producer Ellen DeGeneres to launch a twelve-episode series on AOL, "Laugh Lessons with Kevin Nealon," that features a number of famous comedians teaching comedy to children. Nealon and DeGeneres appear in the series, and their guests include names like Adam Sandler, David Spade, and Chelsea Handler. Each episode features a different group of elementary school students in a classroom with one of the comedians.

Nealon serves as the series' host and interviews his guests about their lesson plans at the start of every episode. The comedy teachers focus their lessons on a particular aspect of their own comedy or practical advice for life as a comedian. In the first episode , Adam Sandler lets the children experiment with making funny noises and impressions. He shares some of his favorites and teaches his students to create a brief sketch around a particular noise. Each comedian brings their individual strengths to the series, and episodes last between five and ten minutes. The short-lived experimental series was one of Nealon's first web-based projects and paved the way for future web series endeavors for the comedian.

He appeared in Christmas movies

Many people enjoy watching feel-good movies during the holiday season, including Hallmark Christmas movies . In 2021, Nealon and his wife Susan appeared together as minor characters in two Hallmark films — "Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday," and "Sister Swap: Christmas In The City." Each film focuses on one of the two Swift sisters, Meg (Ashley Williams) and Jennifer (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), but the movies tell an interconnected story. The sisters decide to swap cities for the two weeks leading up to Christmas and learn valuable lessons about the meaning of the holiday season. 

In both films, Nealon plays Uncle Dave, a deceased relative of the main characters who once operated a movie theater called The Madison. The movie theater becomes a central focus in "A Hometown Holiday" because the sisters decide to revive it in time for Christmas. Uncle Dave primarily appears in flashbacks, and his on-screen time is limited. Nevertheless, this role allows Nealon fans to see the actor play a different kind of character than he usually portrays. Whereas most of his prior movies were comedies, the pair of "Sister Swap" films are bittersweet but heartwarming tales about the importance of family.

He played for charity

Celebrities are often passionate about giving back to charitable causes, and Nealon is no exception. Over the years, Nealon has continuously lent his time and financial support to a non-profit organization that helped his family through difficult ordeals. An article on the Hope Healthcare website in 2020 explains that Nealon and his family have supported their Florida-based Hope Hospice program for decades. According to the article, the Nealon family relied on Hope Hospice for end-of-life care for several of their family members over the years and appreciated the service they received. Although he grew up in Connecticut and primarily lives in Los Angeles, California, Nealon has ties to the Southwest Florida region because of his family and remains active with this organization.

In 2020, Nealon took his Hope Hospice fundraising efforts public on an episode of "Celebrity Family Feud," where his family went up against fellow comedian Drew Carey and his own family and won $25,000 for the charity. The team also included Nealon's brother, his mother-in-law, and actress Cheryl Hines. Although the contestants only needed to score 200 points to win the final round of the game show, Nealon and his wife far surpassed that amount and secured an easy victory.

He became an author

Nealon's life as a published author began in 2008 when he released "Yes, You're Pregnant, But What About Me?" This autobiographical book reveals Nealon's triumphs and struggles as a first-time father in his fifties. However, his latest book, 2022's "I Exaggerate: My Brushes With Fame," takes the comedian-turned-author into a different genre and reveals yet another of the performer's many talents.

The book features hand-drawn caricatures, with each also featuring an accompanying personal essay about Nealon's connection to the subject of the drawing. Fellow comedians featured in the book include Jim Carrey , Robin Williams, Dave Chappelle, Steve Martin, and Dana Carvey, as well as other famous figures in sport and music such as athletes Eli and Peyton Manning, Freddie Mercury, Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish. To support the book release, Nealon took to Twitter  in November 2022 to announce an art exhibit featuring some of his caricatures.

He live-streamed a comedy special

Although Nealon is often associated with "SNL" and other television and film appearances, the actor has been a stand-up comedian since the late '70s. In 2009, he took to the stage for his first full-length comedy special, "Now Hear Me Out!" and toured comedy clubs around the country. In 2012, he returned with his second special, "Whelmed... But Not Overly."

However, in 2020, Nealon's third special, "Behind The Mask," had a very different look. In an interview with KTLA 5 , Nealon discussed the special that he live-streamed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since comedy clubs around the country had closed their doors due to quarantine orders, Nealon saw an opportunity to allow comedy fans to enjoy stand-up from the comfort of their homes. 

In the interview, Nealon noted that the hour-long special also includes a virtual Q&A after-party to give fans a chance to talk with the comedian. According to Nealon, the most challenging part of creating a live-stream special is the lack of opportunities to perfect the material beforehand. He explained that touring comedy clubs traditionally give comedians a chance to rehearse their specials ahead of time and that "Behind The Mask" would therefore be less scripted. Nealon live-streamed the special from his home in Los Angeles, California, and featured musician Brad Paisley as a special guest.

He signed on for a new comedy film

Even with multiple projects in the works, Nealon still finds time to act in films. In July 2022,  Deadline reported that Nealon will appear in the upcoming movie "Late Bloomers." This comedy is director Lisa Steen's first full-length feature, with an original screenplay by Anna Greenfield. Before this project, Steen directed several short films and served as a producer on the series "Epic Night." Screenwriter Greenfield has spent her career writing, producing, and acting, and among her many credits is a single-episode appearance in the long-running procedural drama, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

According to Deadline, Greenfield and Steen worked together on short film projects before joining forces to create "Late Bloomers." The article also notes that Greenfield used her own experiences as a 20-something in Brooklyn, New York, as inspiration for the film.

Nealon plays Al, the father of the main character Louise (Karen Gillan), a young woman who finds herself in physical therapy after a drunken mishap. In addition, Al's wife, Dorothy (Talia Balsam), has early-onset Alzheimer's disease, which adds tragic weight to the otherwise comedic story. "Late Bloomers" entered the post-production stage of development in the summer of 2022.

He designed a banjo

Most Kevin Nealon fans love him for his comedic talents on stage and screen, but the actor has many other creative passions. In a 2017 interview with Watch! Magazine, Nealon explains that he has played the banjo since he was 18. He also notes that he can play the ukulele and has taken piano lessons. This should be no surprise to "Weeds" fans, who may remember Nealon playing the banjo and singing as his character, Doug Wilson, in the Season 3 episode "Go." Nealon also occasionally posts videos of himself playing the banjo on his Twitter page.

However, in 2020, Nealon took a break from playing and tried his hand at designing one of his own. He partnered with Deering Banjos to create what he calls a "Fireball." The performer created this one-of-a-kind instrument as part of a Giving Tuesday banjo auction, an annual event in which Deering Banjos offers custom creations for sale and donates the proceeds to charity. As he often does, Nealon named Hope Hospice of southwest Florida recipient of the auction proceeds. In a promo video for the auction, Nealon highlighted the best features of the banjo and showed off his signature on the front. As Nealon explains, he chose to sign the banjo with the quote, "Harness the good and block the bad," a reference to his beloved "Happy Gilmore" character, Gary Potter.

He went back on tour

After over four decades in show business, Nealon still gives his fans new comedic material to enjoy. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, comedy clubs began to reopen their doors to patrons and comedians, and following the success of his live-streamed comedy special in 2020, he took the opportunity to launch a new live show in 2021. As reported by Susan Shultz of CTPost.com , Nealon performed at The Stress Factory comedy club in Bridgeport, Connecticut, as part of his national tour.

Shultz also notes that the comedian grew up in and attended high school in neighboring towns and was excited to reconnect with some of the locals in Bridgeport. In addition to Connecticut, this tour took Nealon to Florida, Oregon, and several other states. However, Nealon's 2021 tour was only the beginning of his return to stand-up comedy. According to Nealon's website , the comedian has live performances scheduled at multiple comedy clubs through the spring of 2023. The tour also includes some rescheduled events from 2021 and covers numerous regions of the U.S. and Canada. Nealon may be in his sixties, but the powerhouse performer's career is still as active as ever.

Josh Wolf is a comedian, actor and NY Times Bestselling author best known for his work as a round table guest and writer on E!'s "Chelsea Lately" and "After Lately." He has become one of the most sought after personalities in comedy, headlining stand up comedy tours across the nation. Wolf grew up in Amherst, Massachusetts and began performing stand up at 15 years old. Brian Posehn has been busy for a while. As a writer/actor/stand-up comic, he doesn’t have a ton of down time. He just recorded his fourth hour-long stand-up special. He’s currently co-creating and starring in an upcoming cartoon for Nickelodeon with Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman. Brian was an NSA intern on TruTV’s Top Secret Videos . In Voice-Acting he’s done everything from Scooby Doo to a recent role on The Simpsons . He starred on the animated shows, Mission Hill and 3 South and has turned up in Adventure Time, American Dad, Bob’s Burgers and Steven Universe, to name a few. His voice was featured in the 2017 Dreamworks Animated comedy, Captain Underpants.

In the last several years he’s also been able to produce and host a popular D&D comedy podcast, Nerd Poker and co-write 45 issues of the best-selling Marvel comic book series Deadpool. In 2018 he released his first book, Forever Nerdy. In 2019, he completed a comedy metal album Grandpa Metal, featuring metal legends from Anthrax, Dethklok, Slayer and Soundgarden.

Grandpa Metal was released to rave reviews in the metal world in February of 2020. In May, he was featured on Celebrity Worst Cooks on Food Network. John Caparulo

A comedian known for his sharp wit, unique delivery, and brilliant affinity for cuss words, John Caparulo is a seasoned comic whose dry, no-nonsense Midwestern sensibility endears him to audience members of all kinds.  He began his comedy career performing in clubs in Cleveland and Pittsburgh in the late ‘90s before coming to Hollywood to hone his skills on stage and work the door at the legendary Comedy Store. Caparulo's breakout performance at Montreal's Just for Laughs in 2003 led to spots on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and he appeared over 150 times as a panelist on Chelsea Handler’s popular E! show Chelsea Lately. His profile continued to rise with his liveperformances on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Next Generation, as well as Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Tour. He hosted Mobile Home Disaster on CMT, played the part of “Brian” on the ABC sitcom Work It, hosted a radio show on Sirius XM, voiced the character of “Headphone Joe” on Disney’s Fish Hooks, and was a part of the Showtime special Unsportsmanlike Comedy with Rob Gronkowski. In 2008, Caparulo's first full-length special, John Caparulo: Meet Cap premiered on Comedy Central. His second special, Come Inside Me, was released on Netflix in 2013. In 2018, Cap settled down in Las Vegas and performed almost 500 shows during a 2-year residency at Harrah’s. John Caparulo’s Mad Cap Comedy ran 5 nights a week until its unexpected demise as a result of the COVID-19 shutdowns. Greg Vaccariello

Greg Vaccariello realized that he was funny in third grade. Appearing in the school play, Greg made the entire audience laugh without saying a word. To this day Greg doesn’t know what he did that day, but it worked, and he was hooked. Because Greg can’t sing, he never appeared in another school play because they were all musicals, so he didn’t think that he could ever act again until he saw Jackie Gleason in The Honeymooners and Greg knew that there was hope!! His next influence was Steve Martin and Greg saw stand up as another avenue to express his humor.

The Bronx native went to high school on Long Island and then college in Oneonta, NY. After graduating from college, he worked in the corporate world and got his teaching degree. Greg took acting classes with John Monteleone and started doing stand-up in 1989. Soon, Greg was on the road making people laugh from Florida to Maine and Arizona to Michigan.

Greg took more acting classes with Joanna Beckson, Alice Spivak, Marci Phillips and Dani Super in New York and with Zora DeHorter and Nick Anderson in Los Angeles, and he has appeared on such hit TV shows as  ED ,  Law and Order: SVU ,  Law and Order:   Criminal Intent ,  The King of Queens  and  Hope and Faith . Greg has also appeared in the independent movies  Hung Up ,  No Money Down  and  Under Budget.  He also co-starred in the hit movie, “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2”. The diversity of characters he played in these programs shows us Greg’s tremendous acting range.

Several years ago Greg wrote a sit com pilot called Now What? The script was adapted to the stage and was produced in 2005 in New York, giving Greg his first producing experience. He is currently writing a new script called Sacketts Harbor, PD.

Greg draws on his personal life and his unique point of view to create an original and predominantly clean stand up act. He can perform in top clubs across the country as well as on cruise ships and at corporate events. His style is best described as physical and animated as well as observational, mixed with stories of single life, past relationships, family dysfunction and other whacky events that we all see every day.

A hard working comedian and actor, Greg works tirelessly doing shows and taking acting classes in his new hometown of Los Angeles.

Ariel Elias

Ariel Elias is a comedian living in New York City. Growing up, this Kentucky Jew made everyone laugh at her bat mitzvah, and the rest is history. Today, her comedy is a fun mesh of unique, personal stories mixed with witty and wry observations.

Described as “a sly young comic from Kentucky” by the New York Times, Ariel has also been featured in Rolling Stone , the Washington Post , and on Good Morning America . As a traveling stand up comedian, she has performed on the set of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and was named a “New Face” at the 2021 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival .

After catching Jimmy Kimmel’s attention with a viral stand up clip that displayed her cool, calm, and hilarious composure, he invited Ariel to make her late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In the same week she also appeared for an interview on the daytime talk show, Sherri .

When not performing or writing, she’s probably petting a dog or struggling through a puzzle.

Mike Burton

Growing up in North Carolina and Delaware, listening to George Carlin, Eddie Murphy, and Steven Wright. He moved to New York after college with a Theatre Arts degree in hand. He has done some off-off-off Broadway shows while waiting tables and bartending. Comedy was always something he's wanted to do but never followed through with so one day he woke up and decided to stop talking about it and actually do it. That night he went to an open-mic paid $5 for five minutes of stage time and he's been doing it ever since. He has been lucky enough to do some plays, a music video, a variety show “The Fringe”, some independent films and a couple of commercials. He was the regular warm-up for daytime talk shows The Revolution and Bethenny while also subbing in at Rachel Ray, The View and Dr.Oz. He travels all over doing stand-up from Maine to New Mexico to Florida and the exotic Dakota’s as well as working on cruises all over the sea. He recently taped a Dry Bar comedy special which can be found on Dry Bar's website or YouTube.It has been said that his southern roots make him hospitable and enough New York in me to give him an edge.

In 2014, Drew began his stand-up career quickly making a name for himself around New England for his  quick wit and unique style. After winning the Boston Comedy Festival in 2017, he began to perform comedy regularly around the country.  

In 2018, Drew won the Seattle International Comedy Competition followed by being selected to be a  “New Face of Comedy” at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal in 2019. Drew has  since continued to headline comedy clubs across the US and Canada while making various types of  online content earning millions of views.  

He has also gained the attention of some of the biggest names in comedy. Most recently, Drew opened for comedy legend, Dane Cook, on his 2023 “Perfectly Shattered Tour”.

Nick Hoff is a nationally touring stand-up comedian who has been on MTV, Dry Bar Comedy, co-hosts a weekly show on SiriusXM, and was a featured act in Netflix's Comedy Festival.  His debut album "Baby Daddy" hit #1 on the iTunes comedy charts, and his new hour-long special "Front to Back" can be streamed on YouTube.  When he's not on stage, Nick can often be seen in commercials for Miller Lite, Pepsi and Amazon.

Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy hand-picked Nick to open for them on their International "We've Been Thinking Tour."  He has headlined the "Pink Ribbon Comedy Tour" which made stops in 40 cities doing 65 shows all raising money for breast cancer research.  He was also part of the "Walk of Shame" national comedy tour, which was not quite so noble a cause.

Vince Carone

Ian Edwards

Born in England and raised in Jamaica and New York City, Ian Edwards is a stand-up comedian, writer, producer, actor, and podcaster. Ian is currently a Co-Executive Producer of the upcoming Netflix/A24 series SURVIVAL OF THE THICKEST. His first one-hour stand-up special, Bill Burr Present’s IanTalk: Ideas Not Worth Spreading, debuted on Comedy Central in 2019. Ian has appeared numerous times on Comedy Central’s @Midnight , @Lightsout , Conan, and Comedy Central’s The New Negroes, and is regularly featured as a guest on some of the top podcasts in the world (WTF with Marc Maron and The Joe Rogan Experience to name a few).

Title : Active carbons as nanoporous materials for solving of environmental problems

However, up to now, the main carriers of catalytic additives have been mineral sorbents: silica gels, alumogels. This is obviously due to the fact that they consist of pure homogeneous components SiO2 and Al2O3, respectively. It is generally known that impurities, especially the ash elements, are catalytic poisons that reduce the effectiveness of the catalyst. Therefore, carbon sorbents with 5-15% by weight of ash elements in their composition are not used in the above mentioned technologies. However, in such an important field as a gas-mask technique, carbon sorbents (active carbons) are carriers of catalytic additives, providing effective protection of a person against any types of potent poisonous substances (PPS). In ESPE “JSC "Neorganika" there has been developed the technology of unique ashless spherical carbon carrier-catalysts by the method of liquid forming of furfural copolymers with subsequent gas-vapor activation, brand PAC. Active carbons PAC have 100% qualitative characteristics of the three main properties of carbon sorbents: strength - 100%, the proportion of sorbing pores in the pore space – 100%, purity - 100% (ash content is close to zero). A particularly outstanding feature of active PAC carbons is their uniquely high mechanical compressive strength of 740 ± 40 MPa, which is 3-7 times larger than that of  such materials as granite, quartzite, electric coal, and is comparable to the value for cast iron - 400-1000 MPa. This allows the PAC to operate under severe conditions in moving and fluidized beds.  Obviously, it is time to actively develop catalysts based on PAC sorbents for oil refining, petrochemicals, gas processing and various technologies of organic synthesis.

Victor M. Mukhin was born in 1946 in the town of Orsk, Russia. In 1970 he graduated the Technological Institute in Leningrad. Victor M. Mukhin was directed to work to the scientific-industrial organization "Neorganika" (Elektrostal, Moscow region) where he is working during 47 years, at present as the head of the laboratory of carbon sorbents.     Victor M. Mukhin defended a Ph. D. thesis and a doctoral thesis at the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia (in 1979 and 1997 accordingly). Professor of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. Scientific interests: production, investigation and application of active carbons, technological and ecological carbon-adsorptive processes, environmental protection, production of ecologically clean food.
