Nick Hardy and Davis Riley congratulate one another after pull out the title on the 18th hole at the 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Jason Allen/ISI Photos

The lone team event on the PGA Tour, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, is back this week, which is nice because it’s been a while since anyone besides Scottie Scheffler got to win a tournament. And given that Scheffler is taking the week off ahead of the arrival of his first child, this week we’ll see two "new" pros emerging victorious.

Mind you, Davis Riley and Nick Hardy are trying to make sure the Zurich title remains in their possession after claiming it a year ago. But challenging the duo at TPC Louisiana will be five of the top 15 players in the world. Most notably, for the first time, Rory McIlroy will stop by the Big Easy to try to win this pairs tournament. He'll be joined by renowned Irish golfer Shane Lowry, as the two made plans to team up after the Ryder Cup last fall . Other highly-ranked teams include Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele (winners in 2022), Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama, Sahith Theegala and Will Zalatoris and Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin.

Also competing this week are three sets of brothers, and two sets of twins, which has to be some sort of record: Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard, Parker and Pierceson Coody and (mere brothers) Alex and Matt Fitzpatrick are all looking to take home a good chunk of change.

Riley and Hardy needed to birdie four of their final six holes a year ago to pull out the title over the red-hot duo of Hadwin and Taylor duo. The second-place Canadian squad shot an alternate-shot record 63 on Sunday, but it still wasn’t enough to best Riley and Hardy's 72-hole record of 258. Don't tell Riley and Hardy, but mo team has ever defended its championship at the Zurich Classic.

Each player on the winning team will receive 400 FedEx Cup points and a $1,286,050 share of the $8.9 million purse.

Why isn't liv golf returning to rich harvest farms league picks new course near chicago for 2024 individual championship, share this article.

Nearly midway through its 14-event 2024 season, LIV Golf has finally announced the host course for its regular season finale.

Bolingbrook Golf Club in Bolingbrook, Illinois, 30 minutes outside of Chicago, will host the 2024 Individual Championship, Sept. 13-15, ending the league’s two-year relationship with Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois.

“It’s been decided that after two successful seasons at Rich Harvest Farms, the club’s membership will not have any disruptions to its play this year,” Rich Harvest Farms General Manager Jonathan Meagher told Golfweek. “We are pleased to see that LIV Golf continues to have an event in the Chicagoland area.”

Meagher also noted a LIV Golf to Rich Harvest Farms has not been ruled out for any year past 2024.

The 13th tournament of the season, the LIV Golf Chicago event will determine team seeds for the 2024 Team Championship (location to be announced), crown the season’s individual champion and solidify player status for 2025. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, May 8.

“The passionate sports fans of Chicago have embraced the intense competition and fan-first experience that LIV Golf delivers, and this year it will be an incredible setting for a high-stakes event as players battle it out for the individual title and a roster spot for 2025,” said Commissioner and CEO Greg Norman. “We’re thrilled to return to Illinois with an event at Bolingbrook Golf Club as we celebrate the season-long race and set the stage for the 2024 finale.”

🔒 CONFIRMED 🔒 🙌 Chicago is the destination for the 2024 LIV Golf Individual Championship 🤝 Bolingbrook Golf Club will host the event on September 13-15 2024 🎟️ Tickets on sale May 8 at https://t.co/mLfwe7a2J2 #LIVGolf — LIV Golf (@livgolf_league) April 30, 2024

For those unfamiliar with Bolingbrook Golf Club, the course was designed by architect Arthur Hills and his partner Steve Forrest, and features a 156-yard island green on the 15th hole.

This week the league will tee up its seventh event of the season at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore, May 3-5.

HOW TO FOLLOW

TV: Thursday-Friday, 4-7 p.m. ET (Golf Channel); Saturday-Sunday, 1-3 p.m. (GC), 3-6 p.m. (CBS)

Streaming (ESPN+): Thursday-Friday, 7:45 a.m.-7 p.m. ET; Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

X: @CJByronNelson

--Ben An to Beat Jason Day (+100 at DraftKings): An is a streaky player who can go low when his putting is even mediocre. That includes four rounds in the 60s in tying for 14th here last year -- six shots off Day's winning mark. Day is coming off a T18 at the RBC Heritage, but had failed to crack the top-30 in his four previous starts. An is quietly third at DraftKings with 7 percent of the money backing him to win at +2500.

--Tom Kim Top 20 (+140 at BetMGM): Kim is one of several South Korean players on tour who now call the Dallas area home. He finished T34 here last year and has scuffled through the first half of the 2024 schedule, but he is coming off a T18 at the RBC Heritage following a T30 at the Masters.

--Jake Knapp to Make Cut (-155 at DraftKings): Knapp has found tour life more challenging since backing up his maiden win with a T4 at the Cognizant. He has failed to break the top 45 in five starts since, including a missed cut in Houston. Knapp posted a T55 at the Masters before a T62 at the RBC Heritage, which both sported far stronger fields than what he'll contend against this week.

2024 Prop Picks Record: 23-26-1

--Jordan Spieth (+1600 at BetMGM) is the top-ranked player in the field at No. 20. He has missed three of his past five cuts, but the Texas native did finish T10 at the Valero Texas Open and was runner-up here two years ago. He's the book's third-biggest liability this week while leading the field with 10.4 percent of the total bets and 9.3 percent of the money backing him to win since opening at +1400.

--Si Woo Kim (+1600) tied for second last year and enters with four consecutive top-30 results, highlighted by a T6 at The Players. The four-time winner on tour is third with 8.7 percent of the money backing him, which has driven Kim's odds down since opening at +2000.

--Jason Day (+2000) claimed his most recent victory at last year's Byron Nelson, but his most recent top-10 finish came at the Genesis in February.

--Sungjae Im (+2500) is coming off a win on the Korean Tour last week following a T12 at the RBC Heritage.

--Tom Kim (+2800) has finished T30 and T18 while showing improved form in his past two starts. He has been a popular wager at DraftKings, where Kim is tied for third with 7 percent of the money backing him to win.

--Tom Hoge (+2800) has received heavy action since opening at +4000. Backed by 9.0 percent of the money, Hoge is BetMGM's biggest liability.

--This is the final of three events that count toward the Aon Swing 5 for the Wells Fargo Championship, with the five players not otherwise exempt who earned the most points in those three events qualifying for the next signature event. The current top five are Billy Horschel, Chad Ramey, Wesley Bryan, Martin Trainer and Kevin Tway. The top 10 players in the FedEx Cup standings after this week who are not otherwise exempt will also qualify via the Aon Next 10.

--Will Zalatoris withdrew on Tuesday, citing the need to rest his surgically repaired back. He was replaced in the field by Nick Watney.

--A total of 2,021 birdies were recorded at TPC Craig Ranch in 2023, the third most of any course on tour last season.

--Zach Johnson will make his 500th career PGA Tour start this week.

--England's Kris Kim, the 16-year-old son of former LPGA Tour player Ji-Hyun Suh, will make his tour debut.

LIV Golf 2024 schedule: Events, dates, locations

LIV Golf released its 2024 schedule on Wednesday morning.

Getty Images

Be the change you wish to see in the comments section … or something like that.

On Wednesday morning, LIV Golf released its 2024 playing schedule , marking the third season for the breakaway league since its inception in 2022. The calendar comes just days after one of LIV’s top stars, Brooks Koepka , took to Instagram twice to voice his frustrations with the league’s lack of a coordinated 2024 schedule in the comments section of the league’s official account.

The 2024 season will once again see LIV play 14 events and will see the league return to a few of its highest-profile locations, including Adelaide, Australia and Mayakoba, Mexico.

There are a few new notable omissions from the 2024 schedule, including the location of three of the league’s 14 events, or roughly 20 percent of the overall schedule. At present, LIV’s pre-Masters event — played the week before Augusta, from April 5-7 — is listed on the schedule as just “USA,” while its individual and team championships have neither locations nor dates stated for them. (A LIV representative said announcements for the championships are expected separately.)

Among the new additions to the league are tournaments in Las Vegas (Feb 8-10), Houston (June 7-9) and Nashville (June 21-23). In addition, the league will not return to London’s Centurion Club, host of LIV’s first-ever tournament, but will play an event in Staffordshire, England — located between London and Manchester.

Below, check out the league’s full schedule, dates and times.

LIV Golf 2024 schedule

2/2-4: LIV Mayakoba — El Cameleon Country Club 2/8-10 : LIV Las Vegas — Las Vegas Country Club 3/1-3: LIV Saudi Arabia — TBD 3/8-10: LIV Hong Kong — Hong Kong Golf Club 4/5-7: LIV “USA” — Location and course TBD 4/26-28: LIV Adelaide — The Grange Golf Club 5/3-5: LIV Singapore — The Serapong Golf Club 6/7-9: LIV Houston — The Golf Club of Houston 6/21-23: LIV Nashville — The Grove Golf Club 7/12-14: LIV Andalucia — Real Club Valderrama 7/25-28: LIV UK: Staffordshire — JCB Golf and Country Club 8/16-19: LIV Greenbrier — The Old White Course at the Greenbrier Date, Course and Location TBD: LIV Golf Individual Championships Date, Course and Location TBD: LIV Golf Team Championships.

2024 LIV Golf Adelaide schedule, field of players, teams, prize money, purse, live stream, TV schedule

Liv golf makes its way down under for its annual event in australia.

2023-liv-golf-adelaide-g.jpg

LIV Golf returns to the land down under for the first of two international events following the Masters. The 54-hole circuit once again makes its way to LIV Golf Adelaide, where the league enjoyed tremendous success in its inaugural showing a year ago. It was Talor Gooch running away with the individual title on LIV Golf this time last year, but this year it is Joaquin Niemann.

The young Chilean has been tremendous in 2024 with a couple of LIV Golf titles to his name and a strong showing at the year's first major championship. Fresh off a top-25 result at the Masters, Niemann hopes to keep the momentum rolling in Australia.

Outdoing Niemann at the Masters and representing one of LIV Golf's highest finisher was the man who needs no introductions to Australian golf fans, Cameron Smith. The 2022 Champion Golfer of the Year claimed another top-10 finish at Augusta National and continued a streak of solid play for the Australian. Smith has now rattled off three straight quality outings with a playoff loss to Abraham Ancer in Hong Kong. He will hope to impress his fans again as he leads his Ripper GC squad into a home game.

Ripper GC and the rest of the teams are looking up to last year's champions, Crushers GC. Bryson DeChambeau's team has opened up a wide lead over the rest of the league in large part due to their captain's play. DeChambeau contended at the Masters before ultimately finishes T6 alongside Smith. On LIV Golf, DeChambeau has connected on four straight top 10s and will look to do a hair better this week as he eyes his third trophy.

Meanwhile, players like Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and Jon Rahm hope to bounce back from mildly disappointing Masters, with others like Gooch, Tyrrell Hatton and Patrick Reed rounding out the action.

Moscow metro tour: architectural styles of the subway.

location of tour golf

Duration: 2 hours

Categories: Culture & History, Sightseeing

This metro tour of Russia’s capital and most populous city, Moscow, is your chance to get a unique insight into the beautiful and impressive architecture of the city's underground stations. Admire their marble walls and high ceilings representing Stalin's desire for glory after World War 2, and see first-hand how the interiors change with the rise of new political eras. Your guide will lead you through the complex network, which is one of the most heavily used rapid transit systems worldwide, with over two billion travelers in 2011.

Opened in 1935, Moscow’s underground system, now 190 miles (305 km) long with 185 stations, is today one the largest and most heavily used rapid transit systems in the world. On this Moscow metro tour, discover the impressive architecture of Moscow’s underground stations and learn how they reflect the Soviet era.

Getting around by metro, your local guide will take you through parts of Moscow’s infamous history. Stop at stations built during the time of the USSR (Soviet Union) that are praised as one of the most extravagant architectural projects from Stalin’s time. After World War 2, he was keen on establishing Stalinist architecture to represent his rising regime and a recognized empire. Learn how when his successor started the de-Stalinization of the former Soviet Union in 1953, the extravagancy of the architecture was toned down.

Discover how the unique character of each station reflected several different eras. While stations like Kievskaya and Slavyansky Bulvar have pompous halls and high stucco ceilings brimming with extravagant decorations, those built later, like Volzhskaya, are lightly adorned with sparse furnishings. Architect Alexey Dushkin and painter Alexander Deyneka were just two of the many artists who made these magnificent landmarks possible.

Revel in Moscow's glory days, as well as the years of scarcity, on this fascinating Moscow metro experience. Conclude your tour at one of the central stations in Moscow. If you're lucky, you may even find the secret entrance to the unconfirmed Metro-2, a parallel underground system used by the government -- a mystery which has neither been denied nor confirmed today.

We have a wide range of tours designed to give you an insight into the destination you're travelling in and there is something for everybody. The culture shock ratings considers the destination visited, transport used, activities undertaken and that "Wow, I'm really not at home now!" factor. While generalisations are always tricky, a summary of our gradings is as follows…

This is the least confronting of our tour range. Transport used on the trip is either private or a very comfortable public option, the activities included are usually iconic sites and locations that are not all too confronting.

The tour can include a mix of private and public transport providing a level of comfort that is slightly below what you would experience at home. Sites visited are usually iconic sites, tours can also include market visits, visits to communities etc that provide the traveller with a fantastic insight into destination.

Expect to rough it for parts of this tour, whether it's a packed public bus where you are forced to stand, a visit to a local market, a local community, you are sure to have an experience that is very different from what you're used to at home.

The comforts of your home town and the environment you are used to are more of a rarity. Expect some challenging transport options, visits to local sites and areas that don't resemble anything at home.

You're out there in the global community! You are likely to be exposed to the elements, travel in whatever means of transport is available and basically take it as it comes, whatever comes! It can be tough.

Physical Rating

Our physical rating gives you an idea of how much huffing and puffing you can expect on the tour. While generalisations are always tricky, a summary of our gradings is as follows…

These tours have very limited physical activity. Usually climbing in and out of the transport provided, walking through sites, markets etc included in the itinerary.

These tours have a bit of physical activity but nothing that should challenge you too much. This could be climbing on and off public transport through to a walk through the destination you're travelling in, they can include walking only tours or a combination of walking and transport.

These tours involve a bit of physical activity from walking up and down hills in the destination you're travelling in or the surrounding areas. Climbing on and off local transport or riding a bike up to 30 kms along predominantly flat terrain or jumping in a kayak for a gentle paddle on flat water.

These Tours will provide you with some solid physical activity. Whether its bike riding, walking, trekking, kayaking or riding on public transport you will need to have a good level of fitness to enjoy this tour.

Be prepared for some serious physical activity. These tours are our most challenging and involve some serious walking, hiking or bike riding. Can involve step climbs by foot or pedal and some challenging public transport options in the destination you are travelling.

Luxury Rating

Some trips are like a stroll on the beach, while others have you trekking alpine passes. Some of you thrive on camping out on the savannah, while others may prefer a hot shower and a comfortable bed in a lodge. Follow the grading systems below to find the right trip for you.

To help you choose the trip that's right for you, we've broken all of our trips down into four service levels. Measuring the comfort level of the accommodation and transport. So whether you're travelling on a budget and want to save money by using public transport, or prefer upgraded accommodation and are happy to pay a little more, then we have a level for you.
