I've purchased the Deluxe Ticket option, where does the Everglades Tour depart?

The Everglades Tour (Green Loop) departs from Miami Beach (Soundscape Park, 1680 Washington Ave.) at 8:30 AM and 2 PM and from Downtown Miami (Bayside Marketplace, 401 Biscayne Blvd) at 9 AM and 2 PM. If you've purchased the Deluxe ticket, the tour time is the departure time for the Everglades Tour. Pleas arrive 15 minutes in advance of your chosen departure time. The total duration of the Everglades tour is approximately 4 hours.

What can I see and visit during the tour?

Big Bus Tours Miami takes you to some of the city's most exciting areas, including South Beach, Little Havana, Wynwood, Downtown and more. They have over 20 different stops, all conveniently located close to great landmarks and attractions, making it easy for you to explore the city at your own leisure.

Do I need to specify a date of travel?

Yes – they'll ask you to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus. If you’re touring with them for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to guarantee your seat.

How will I know where to get off?

The commentary or guide on your bus will announce hop-off stops as the bus arrives at each location, allowing you to hop off at your leisure.

What is the child ticketing policy?

Child tickets are available for passengers aged between 3 and 12 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult (16+). Children aged 2 years and under may travel free of charge. Strollers and pushchairs must be folded and stowed on the lower deck.

Are accommodations available for persons with disabilities?

Yes, they operate wheelchair accessible vehicles with lifts that can accommodate a weight up to 650 pounds. Please be advised that their entire fleet in Miami is not wheelchair accessible. If you or your travelling partner(s) requires an ADA accessible vehicle, please contact the number on your e-ticket 48 hours prior to your planned tour commencement. They can then arrange for a suitable vehicle to be available at the time and location required. If you require a different accommodation, please also contact the number on your e-ticket 48 hours prior to your planned tour commencement so they can make arrangements for an accommodation. Please also note that passengers with mobility impairments may not be able to access the upper deck on their buses. They cannot guarantee the accessibility of the various attractions along the tour.

Hang in there! BIG cities like to throw all sorts of challenges at their drivers, who are doing their best to get to you as quickly (but safely) as possible.

Can I bring food and drink on the tour?

Food is not permitted on the tour. Drinks are only permitted if they have a locking cap.

What is the policy on bringing pets?

No pets are allowed on board the bus, except ADA service animals.

Is luggage allowed on board the bus?

Large bus fire causes closure of i-595 near nob hill road.

DAVIE, Fla. – A vehicle fire caused major delays on a South Florida highway on Friday afternoon.

Sky 10 was over the scene on the westbound lanes of I-595 near the Nob Hill Road exit where a large bus could be seen on fire.

All westbound lanes of the highway were closed around 3 p.m. as firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.

At one point, the double-decker tour bus from Miami Tours, a company out of Miami Beach, was seen completely engulfed in flames.

Police said around 50 passengers were able to evacuate the bus. They waited under tents on the side of the highway for several hours until another bus could come and pick them up.

One of the passengers on that bus was Fillippo Muzifalconi, an Italian tourist.

He says a passing car signaled to the driver that something was wrong and the driver then pulled over.

“The driver immediately opened the door and we ran out,” said Muzifalconi. “The driver, I think he was a hero. He got out of the bus as the last person, waiting for everyone.”

The fire has since been extinguished.

Authorities said no injuries were reported.

Muzifalconi believes it could have ended much worse. The final passengers stepped off that bus just before it became fully engulfed.

“It was already full of smoke,” he said. “The last people going out, they were really in a difficult situation.”

The tourists on that bus told Local 10 News they were offered a full refund for their trip.

The red route is quite exciting and takes about an hour. The bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes. However the other two routes take about two hours each and buses come every 30 to 40 minute period. The boat element was wonderful, we saw some amazing parts of Moscow along the river side. The bus element was very disappointing as it only started at 10am and was finished by 6:30pm. The ear phones were small and sometimes the commentary did not link up with the sites you were seeing. The green bus takes you on a longer route and ours took two and a half hours due to the heavy traffic. I would not recommend this trip unless it is raining or you want to fill in time. The bus didn't stop at many points. Were were unaware a couple of times at what point we were and missed them. Headphones and maps were provided. Would recommend one should check out the route map before going and decide which places to stop in advance, this way one can manage and enjoy the tour more and us it more effectively.! And in the boat even tough we were 90% English speaking tourist at least, the tour guide spoke 95% of the time in Russia, and only 3 sentences in English, I really counted how many times she spoke in English. And at the end she asks us if we have any questions? Of course I told her I couldn’t ask her anything since I didn’t understand 95% of what she was saying. The boat tour is not worth it, just take the bus that would be my advice. Second minus is the waiting times, in the boat they made us wait an hour before it departed, and in many stops with the buses waiting times of 20-30 minutes.
