Reba McEntire revealed today that she will hit the road again, announcing REBA: LIVE IN CONCERT tour. Joining her for various dates across the tour include Brandy Clark, Hannah Dasher, Caylee Hammack, Reyna Roberts, Cailtyn Smith, Brittney Spencer and Tenille Townes. Live Nation is the official tour promoter and tickets for REBA: LIVE IN CONCERT go on sale October 15 at 10am local time at  reba.com  and  livenation.com . 

Citi is the official presale credit card for the Reba tour. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, October 12 at 10am local time until Thursday, October 14 at 10pm local time through Citi Entertainment. Reba just released her three-part box set  REVIVED REMIXED REVISITED  on Friday and is continuing to celebrate the release this week. REVIVED includes some of Reba’s biggest hits as they’ve evolved in her live show REMIXED puts a whole new spin on some of her most beloved tracks and on REVISITED, Reba works with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb to strip things back. Tomorrow (10/12), Reba will take part in a special  Amazon Music  livestream event where she will perform songs with her REVISITED collaborator and producer, Dave Cobb. Hosted by Jessie James Decker, fans can tune in at 5pm CT via Amazon Live on desktop, mobile, Fire tablet, or via the Amazon Shopping App on Fire TV.

On Thursday (10/14), Reba will perform two songs and share more behind the release on  TODAY,  beginning at 8:00A local time on  NBC .

Reba McEntire is currently booked for a limited engagement of concerts at The Colosseum in Las Vegas’s Ceasar’s Palace with the legendary Brooks & Dunn , as well as a short run of concerts in summer 2021

“I can’t wait to see everybody when we know it’s safe to gather again,” McEntire added in a statement. “We’ve worked so hard on this new show and I’ll be ready to go as soon as we get the green light!” In addition to her arena tour, the country star has also canceled a number of her Las Vegas residency dates with Brooks & Dunn this year including the residency’s April and June shows. Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas is currently scheduled to return in October.

Nashville Calling:

The turning point came when the talented Red Steagall discovered Reba’s enchanting voice at a rodeo event. Steagall’s belief in her potential led to a life-changing moment. With Steagall’s help, she secured a recording contract with PolyGram/Mercury Records in 1975, embarking on her journey to Nashville.

A Musical Evolution:

While her early years with PolyGram/Mercury Records saw moderate success, it was her transition to MCA Records in 1984 that marked a new chapter. “My Kind of Country” was a game-changer, bringing two number one Billboard country singles and a shift towards a more traditional musical style.

Reba McEntire to Re-Launch 1990 Concert Special, ‘Reba In Concert’

The throwback special arrives on YouTube this Friday (August 28).

After the positive reception of her first concert special’s YouTube re-launch, country superstar Reba McEntire is gearing up for round two.

Arriving this Friday (August 28) for its digital debut, Reba In Concert will take fans back in time to another of McEntire’s iconic performances. The concert was originally filmed in 1990 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, and now stands as a dedication to the late members of McEntire’s original band. They’re featured in this concert film, but tragically lost their lives in a plane crash the following year.

“This show is very special to me because it features my friends that we lost in a plane crash 29 years ago,” McEntire shares. “Their love for music and incredible talents deserve to be seen again, and I’m so glad that we’re getting the chance to stream this concert for the first time ever. I can’t wait to watch it and I hope they will feel all the love we still have for them.”

 Aside from the meaningful dedication, the concert special will also feature 16 theatrical performances including “Fancy,” “You Lie” and “Whoever’s In New England” — plus a stunning series of stage gowns and that unmistakable ’80s-diva hair. Reba In Concert premieres at 7:30 pm CT, and the star will celebrate by chatting with fans on her YouTube page.

It’s just the latest in a series of re-release news from McEntire’s lately. Last month, her 1994 concert special  Reba: Live arrived on YouTube, and on September 11 she’ll revive her 1990 album, Rumor Has It , 30 years after that milestone project first came out.

When the "Fancy" singer attended the Academy of Country Music Awards back in 1996, she brought along her adorable 6-year-old son, Shelby. On the red carpet, McEntire sported voluminous hair , while Shelby wore a suit, and the two proudly held hands.

Fast forward to 2024, and Shelby is all grown up. On February 23, McEntire gave her son a shoutout on his 34th birthday , and the resemblance between the two is uncanny with their bright red hair . 

''I sure feel a lot better today than I did 34 years ago! :) From the first second I found out I was pregnant, up to today, this child is one of the biggest blessings of my life. Thank you, God for letting me experience being a mama. I love you, Shelby, with all my heart mind and soul. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,'' McEntire wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo of them posing together.

Who is Reba McEntire's son, Shelby Blackstock?

Shelby Blackstock was born in 1990, and his father is race car driver Narvel Blackstock. Shelby took after his father  and has raced at the US F2000 National Championship, the Pro Mazda Championship, and the Indy Lights (via  Closer Weekly ). 

McEntire is a super proud mama. In a 2022 interview with  People , she revealed how she raised Shelby to be a well adjusted and grateful person. 

"When we would play games or cards, I'd never let Shelby win. He wouldn't have learned anything that way. I always told Shelby, 'I'll always love you, but I want other people to like you. So don't be a little jerk. Don't be a spoiled brat,'" she told the outlet. "A lot of people have told me you would never know [he] had been blessed with the life he was given."

"I'm very proud of him. He was a kid who had ADHD and could barely read in school, and now he's read 10 books this year. He's always trying to improve and do better. His daddy did a great job too," she added.

She continued: "Shelby is a gift from God to me. We're very close. I was a very self-centered person to a degree before Shelby. But then there's a little character who you are given the job to protect and nurture and love and teach, so all the attention's not on you anymore."
