The side x side was washed before we received it and full of fuel. Highly recommend using these in place of a car rental. It was an amazing time - they provided courtesy pick up near our airbnb. They were very personable and made sure everyone was safe and had a great time. I didn't realize that we would always be on the regular roads and driving the speed limits posted. Therefore, I highly recommend all passengers have sunglasses to protect their eyes and if you have longer hair, you most definitely need it secured. The $10 additional we paid upon departure for the pre-loaded GPS unit was absolutely worth it as it took us to all the locations on the must see list. - 684dixiep 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles The best way to see Nassau! THIS is the best way to see the island! I felt so sorry for people packed on to tour busses or limited by walking tours. The guided ATV tour gave us a fun way to get the most out of our time in Nassau. They picked us up promptly from the cruise port and carried us to the BowCar facility (right next to the new U.S. Embassy) where we got helmets, a headset, and a quick demonstration/practice run on driving an ATV. From there we were off with our knowledgeable guide leading the way and another staff member following behind (or blocking traffic when needed). I think there were 6 ATVs (8 people in total) on our tour. Our guide pointed out sights of interest along the way and we made at stops at the Queens Staircase, Tasty Teas, John Watling's Distillery and - my favorite - the island caves. The tour concluded with lunch at a local (non-touristy) Bahamian restaurant. The guide was happy to take pictures of us at each stop. The ATVs were so much fun to drive -- even on the "wrong" side of the road -- and we got to see so much more of the island .... especially the caves, which are at least a 30-minute [stunning] drive from the port/downtown. If everyone in your group is 10+, I highly recommend a BowCar ATV tour. My 13-year-old said it was the best part of our vacation! Read more Written March 13, 2024

What To Expect
Make your way to Nassau's Cable Beach to pick up your scooter for a 4, 8 or 24 hour rental. Get a brief orientation to the island from the scooter center's staff; they'll recommend the best routes, the can't-miss historical highlights and the most delicious places to stop for food and drinks.With a helmet on your head and your eyes on the road, you'll zoom towards this Bahamian island's attractions. Visit the 18th century Fort Charlotte and check out its drawbridge, then visit Arawak Cay's outdoor market for some of the best food on the island, like shrimp and conch fritters. Park your scooter at the foot of the limestone Queen's Staircase and huff it to the top, then check out the famous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island.At the end of your rental, return the scooter to Cable Beach.
