We stayed at the White Orchid for a week and loved it. The setting is breathtaking and like no other. The room was immaculate, large and tasteful. The pool is beautiful. Our hosts Klaudia and Rado were not only delightful people but also could not have been more helpful. We loved the fact that we could walk to the village yet the hotel was completely peaceful. If you are looking for a special place, this is it!

Those glossy mag photos you drool over during the winter months, of infinity pools blending seamlessly with a limitless expanse of blue sea and sky, gently dotted here and there with the brilliant white of sails and yachts; a view from a balcony above all this with nothing in between you and this spectacular panorama except those glasses of chilled wine beckoning....well, it's all real! That's exactly what we had at Simpson's new hotel, The White Orchid in Syvota, Greece. Immaculate, charming and peaceful, this little gem perches privately on the hillside, gently lulled by the songs of the crickets and the gently lapping Ionian waves. Hosts Klaudia and Rodo, and owners Vasillici and Costa offer an unusually warm and sincere welcome and beautiful, unintrusive service. A real treat all round. Thank you.

We booked this hotel before the building work was finished, having full confidence in Simpsons travel. Well done to the whole team, amazing place with spectacular views, great hospitality and quality service from start to finish. I must recommend hiring a small boat to take advantage of the freedom of Syvota's hidden coves. Congratulation to you all at the this fab hotel.

We were fortunate enough to stay at White Orchid from 25/8 to 1/9 and never relaxed into a holiday as quickly as we did here. The pictures on the website don't do it justice .We were lucky enough to stay in Kinabalu top floor which gave us panaromic views accross to Paxos and to the beaches to the East and West and whether it was seeing the sunrise or set we will treasure the images for a long time. The room facilities were of the highest standard beach towels provided , bed linen changed mid week and the outside bath was a real pleasure. The infinity pool and surrounding terrace was beautifully finished and more sunbeds than guests. One thing the pictures can't demonstrate is what fantastic hosts Rado and Klaudia were. From the provision of lots of really useful local information to the simple yet so postive smile and cheery welcome each time we saw them. Sometimes when you go away the thought of skipping breakfast makes sense we would however recommend no matter how tired you are you should savour Rado's breakfasts. Every day there was something different and everyone incredibly tasty. The owners Kostas and Vasilliki also made us very welcome and some of the local savoury snacks they made were delicious. Simpsons were very efficient from the moment we landed in Corfu to leaving Corfu and the ferry journey added to the whole experience. Fabulous beaches close by our favourites were a 5 minute drive to the East at Kamini (great liitle taverna on beach under olive trees) and Nisaki (lovely island to swim to and again nice taverna on beach). Siviota a 20 minute walk (and a €10 taxi ride back)was a busy marina and nice to see that it still has lots of fishing boats intermingled with the cruisers and big yachts. More restaurants to choose from than all guides indicate as in excess of 20 restaurants. Our favourite was the Blue Coast. Book it quickly as White Orchid is the sort of place once you arrive you wont want to leave.

• Cleanliness

We stayed here for a week in August wanting a relaxing holiday away from crowded beaches and with high standards of comfort. We were not disappointed! The suite was modern, spotlessly clean and well designed with large bed, sofa and TV, shower room, soft seats on balcony and bistro table and chairs with small kitchen all stylishly incorporated. Well stocked mini bar with plenty of room to store our purchases. It is hard to think of anything that could have been forgotten with a supply of citronella tea lights for the balcony, parasols,beach mats, cool bags,binoculars, tea/coffee and milk all supplied. The location of this recently opened hotel is superb on a quiet hillside with a wonderful view out to sea. The infinity pool really does seem to merge with the sea beyond it. There are shady areas dotted about the hotel with comfy chairs. There is an honesty bar as there is no bar or restaurant. However, the breakfasts are delicious and served in a quiet shaded garden patio area and the small port of Sivota is only a short drive away. There is also a supermarket nearby. A a short walk away is a small quiet,secluded cove beach used primarily by local residents which is of fine shingle.Perfect for sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling. The small, pretty port of Sivota, with a wide choice of shops and restaurants, is a 10 minute drive away and we tended to eat there in the evenings. We would recommend Filakis and the Blue Coast restaurants; although there are quite a few more to choose from. Zoe at Simpson Travel was very helpful efficient and we were met at each stage of our journey to and from the White Orchid. The hosts Klaudia and Raddo are very professional whilst being lovely, friendly, very helpful and were committed to making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Raddo was at the port to welcome us and see us onto the return ferry whilst Klaudia was waiting to meet us at the hotel and up very early to say goodbye. We got together with some other guests and Klaudia arrange for us to charter a boat for a day trip to Paxos with Nicos. Wonderful day! Thoroughly recommended! The owners are also charming Kostas and Vassiliki gave us a warm welcome and generous hospitality during our stay. In short......we had a marvelous time and want to go again.

We stayed at The White Orchid for a week in August, wished we could have stayed longer and would love to return again. A spotlessly clean room with balcony and sea view. The room also has a kitchen area stylishly incorporated into the suite, the website pictures don't lie. The setting is perfect on a quiet hillside with infinity pool over looking a beautiful bay, five minutes stroll to a secluded, quiet cove ideal for sunbathing and swimming. The delightful town of Sivota with plenty of shops and restaurants is a short drive away. There is a supermarket close by. Klaudia and Raddo, our hosts, are utterly charming with an excellent balance of thoughtfulness,friendliness and professionalism. Raddo met us at the port on our arrival and again when we left. Klaudia was waiting for us on our arrival at the hotel and again to say goodbye. Kostas and Vasilliki, the owners, are also warm, welcoming and generous with their hospitality. The rooms are well appointed and we can't think of anything they have not included......use of parasols, binoculars and cool bags were a nice surprise. Wonderful breakfasts! We got together with some other guests and Klaudia arranged a day boat charter with Nicos to Paxos which was idyllic, thoroughly recommended. This is a Simpsons Travel hotel and Zoe arranged everything for us perfectly and a rep was waiting at the airport and port both ways. In short.......a wonderful holiday!

We were amongst the first to stay in this outstanding and beautifully presented (in every way) boutique hotel. The Hotel is fantastic; in a stunning location with views over the sea to the island of Paxos in the distance. The swimming pool is wonderful. It really is very difficult to find any fault. The room was spacious, bed very comfortable and the shower/bathroom fantastic. The hosts are Klaudia and Rado. They are just brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. Rado's breakfasts were just amazing. And we were overwhelmed by the kindness and hospitality of the owners, Kostas and Vasiliki (hope I've got the spelling right?). Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. We wish them all the greatest success.
