I actually came here because I thought it was an Alcoholics Anonymous location and I was ordered by the courts to attend several meetings. Turns out this is the automobile association, which was a mistake we made but happy to do so. They were able to review our auto insurance as well as assist us with trip information for a family vacation to Disney next month. The staff was very helpful and after a brief conversation of the association's benefits, I did sign up for a membership. Thank you Rick

This is the second time this office has completely dropped the ball. I broke down in rush hour in the center of an intersection. Not the side but the center. I'm now blocking everyone. I tell AAA this several times that the police need them now or they will have their own contracted company tow me out. They assure me it is a priority call and they will come asap. Fast forward an hour and forty minutes the driver shows up. He sees where I am and asks why I didn't tell AAA that I'm in an intersection. I tell him I did, every time I called. He shows me his call information that in all of the sections dispatch could have written this, they left blank! He is quick and professional, Hands me an ice water, and gets me where I need to go. Bring us to today, I call at 8.35am. They give me an estimate of 9.32 but since long tow they want me to go with the driver. I have my mom rush over to take my kids and wait. 9.45 comes and I call. This is the ACTUAL STATEMENT THE REPRESENTATIVE SAYS: "We can't find a driver willing to bring you 63 miles." Are you kidding me? Every single time you call AAA they beg you to upgrade. Every. Single. Time. I have now upgraded to their top tier program. I cannot go any higher. Now I want to use this service I have paid for for years but have never used. And the DRIVERS don't feel like DRIVING. Imagine you told your boss you don't feel like doing your job?!

Broke down on a cold day. I have AAA roadside assistance so I called the roadside number on the card. Got a fast busy signal. So I called the membership services number on the card and got a fast busy signal. I was so cold I went inside to a local store and called the AAA number to apply for membership. Of course they answered. Told them my problem and the woman took ALL of my information and told me someone would call me back soon. Two hours later I called roadside and member services and got the fast busy. Called back membership again and the new woman took all my info and told me someone would call me soon. Eventually I got a call that my tow was here. Two and a half hours in the cold to get a tow and if I didn't call the new membership phone number I would still be out in the cold. I did not receive the service I am paying for.

I visited this office, as I needed passport pictures. Being a member I could get them for free. They were very quick and fast. My only negative would be when I walked in there was no one at main desk, only a guy who looked like he was doing maintenance. I did ask him, and he was able to direct me.

I got a flat tire and had my car towed to a parking lot by my boyfriend's apartment (it was 2AM and downpouring so we just wanted it towed for the time being). The next day I called AAA again to have someone put the spare tire on so that I could drive it to a shop to get fixed. Eric arrived within 15-20 minutes and I was called a few times and provided with updates on his arrival time which I appreciated. He was extremely personable. Very easy to talk to, explained what he was doing, and had a conversation with me the whole time he was putting the spare on. He also provided me with suggestions for where to get my tire fixed. Because he was so helpful and provided such excellent service I tried tipping him and he refused, he told me to use the money to fill my tank since I had a long drive home. The best service I have ever received. Thanks Eric!

I am a long......time member - Worst customer service of ANY AAA office ever! This membership is suppose to be a convenience & is anything but at the Florham Pk NJ location! Retraining is desperately needed.

My car broke down on Rt 1 in Metuchen/Edison during rush hour in winter. I called the phone # on my AAA card, which is this office. I explained the situation to the woman who answered and how dangerous it was, and gave her my location. She said she'd call for a truck and call the local police station. Over a half hour went by and no one came. I was still sitting in the car freezing while 18 wheelers and cars rushed by blowing their horns at me, wondering how long it would be before I got hit. Very dangerous situation. A AAA truck went by but didn't stop. So I called back, but no one answered. That's right- no one! I then called AAA's 800 # and the man who answered said there was no record of my earlier call. Wait- NO record?! He called for a truck and I called the local police. The police came about 25 mins later and also called for a truck. The truck later arrived, all the way from Jersey City. That's right- Jersey City! The truck loaded my car and started taking me to my destination- a nearby salvage yard. We almost got there when AAA called me and said the truck couldn't take me there. Wait, what?! Only to a repair shop, they said- or else I would get the bill. (Can you believe this? I pay my dues every year.) Problem was, it was too late for the repair shop. We were very close to the salvage yard, but we then had to turn around and go back to my house- a half hour drive! (We've now crossed the line into full blown insanity.) This was by far the worst road experience of my life. So even though I've been a member for 4 decades, paying my dues every year and hardly ever using them, I am now looking for the first good opportunity to scrap my AAA membership. It's a complete waste.

Was thrilled to learn that my AAA membership entitles me to free passport photos. Was in the area so stopped in the Florham Park,NJ location and was out within 5 minutes with photos in hand. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and directed me to the room where they take the photos. Was greated immediately by another nice woman who took care of everything.
