Da Nang Tourist Map Official by Vietnamnomad

To familiarize you with the way of getting around the city, we would like to introduce you to the Da Nang tourist map, which includes its most popular destinations as well as other useful information such as restaurants, bars, and shopping. Download it for offline use and quick access.

Da Nang weather

Positioned in the central part of the country, Da Nang experiences a tropical monsoon climate that has two distinct seasons: a rainy season (from August to December) and a dry season (from January to July). Particularly, the rainy season in Da Nang is synonymous with days of uninterrupted rain. October is the wettest month of the year with high precipitation. So, traveling in Da Nang in the rainy season may limit the range of outdoor activities. The dry season, in contrast, is often humidly hot and cloudy. The hottest month is reported in June with the temperature reaching 34 °C on average.

According to the types of activities, we suggest two ideal time frames to visit this phenomenal beach city.  Late December to late March  is perfect for sightseeing and exploring activities because the weather is super advantageous with a transparent blue sky, the absence of lasting rains, and the average temperature fluctuating between 18 °C to 27 °C.

February is the most recommended month with very pleasant weather, the least rainy month, and the celebration of many local festivals. For by-water and beach activities,  late February to late April  is the best time. This is when the temperature rises to around 32 °C, just hot enough for diving in the cool and clear water in Da Nang. Also, you get enough waves and wind for water sports such as surfing and kitesurfing.

December to March is perfect for sightseeing activities because the weather is super advantageous with the average temperature fluctuating between 18 °C to 27 °C.

Travel to Da Nang

Da Nang is one of the most developed cities in Vietnam, which means a modern transport system. One of the highlights of Da Nang transportation, making it extremely accessible, is that its airport, train station, and central bus stations are located a short distance from the city center.

Da Nang international airport is only 3 km away from the city center and is operated by many local and international airlines, making it the most preferable way to approach Da Nang from overseas. As soon as arriving at the airport, it is (again) super easy to travel to town due to its convenient location.

The national North-South Railway contributes 30 km of its train line crossing Da Nang city, and all the train routes stop in for dropping off and picking up passengers at this station. You can travel to Da Nang by train from over 35 provinces and cities and can travel almost anywhere across the country from here.

From  Hanoi  and  Ho Chi Minh City , it often takes from 16 to 19 hours to reach Da Nang. To make the long trip more comfortable, there are many seat options it has to offer, ranging from 370,000 VND ($19) to 1,100,000 VND ($47).

This means of transportation is more environmentally friendly compared to taking airplanes and also more economical; more importantly, you can view the landscapes changing through the windows, which we believe is a very worthy experience.

You are able to check the train schedule and book tickets online at  dsvn.vn .

From neighboring cities such as  Hoi An  and  Hue , there are public buses from and to Da Nang Central bus station .  In addition, private bus companies (The Sinh Tourist and  Phuong Trang ) and many local coach services operate trips to Da Nang. The long traveling time is compensated by a very affordable price.

Travel in Da Nang

To sightsee and explore Da Nang, we suggest the following means of transport.

We prioritize public transport not only for your easy access but also for the sake of our environment. Officially, Da Nang provides 14 bus routes in town. You can check for specific trips and fares on  danangbus.vn .

Safe, reliable, and more proactive is taking a taxi to see around Da Nang. With the key attractions not too stretched out, it is quite reasonable to go from place to place by taxi. When you get in touch with a driver, it is possible to ask them for a quick tour around the city (normally lasting for around 4 hours) at a cost of 650,000 VND ($28). It is also possible to suggest that they be your private driver, which means he will follow your schedule and accompany you to wherever in the city (standardly from 9 AM – 5 PM) at a price of around 1,800,000 VND ($77).

Note: The price is subject to change according to the price of fuel, and the mentioned price could be shared among four passengers. So, it is worth considering if you are traveling in a group.

Last but not least, renting a motorbike is an obvious option to travel like a local once you are familiar with the traffic flow. The cost of renting a bike ranges from 100,000 VND – 200,000 VND/day. You are likely to be asked for a small amount of money or your personal document for a deposit.

Note: For car and motorbike options, you can easily book a ride on ride-hailing apps like  Grab ,  Gojek,  and  Be .

The highlights of Da Nang transportation, making it extremely accessible, is that its airport, train station, and central bus stations are located a short distance from the city center.

Festivals in Da Nang

Festival of avalokiteshvara.

Avalokitesvara Festival is a spiritual celebration wishing for harmonic weather and sending prayers for health, peace, and harmony. It is held in 3 days, including two parts: ceremony and festival. The ceremony emphasized sacred Buddhist rituals with many religious activities such as welcoming the light, preaching the teachings of Lady Buddha, and so on. The festival takes place vibrantly with various traditional and modern performances: singing folk songs, cosplaying, dancing, and calligraphy exhibition activities.

This festival takes place on February 19 of the lunar calendar every year. The location of the festival is the Marble Mountains tourist site. The festival attracts numerous tourists as well as Buddhist pilgrims coming to Da Nang.

Fireworks Festival

The Fireworks Festival is an international-scale cultural and tourist event that has been taking place annually since 2008. The festival lasts for two days in a row commemorating the liberation of Vietnam on April 30 and International Workers’ Day on May 1. Every year, the fireworks competition features a different theme. This festival attracts many developed fireworks industries, such as Japan, the United States, Italy, Russia, and so on, creating spectacular and artistic fireworks performances along the Han River. The festival is a mesmerizing performance with not only light but also music.

Throughout the festival, there are different activities such as boat racing, exhibition, and releasing of candles held in paper flowers, making it the most awaited festival in the city.

Fireworks Festival lasts for two days in a row commemorating the liberation of Vietnam on April 30 and International Workers' Day on May 1.

Cau Ngu Festival

This is a long-established traditional festival of the coastal villages to show gratitude and respect towards whales. According to folk beliefs, whales are regarded as the guardians of the sea. Many times, it is said that it was the whales that saved fishermen and their boats when they were out at sea and facing extreme storms and waves.

The festival takes place after the Lunar New Year festival from 14 to 16 January (lunar calendar). It is a tradition that in the 2-3 day festival, people will not cook at home but will cook and eat together. All the boats will be decorated with colorful flags and flowers, and models of boats will be worshiped and released to the ocean as offerings.

This is a unique festival that will give you an authentic insight into the traditional celebration of the coastal villages and the folk and local ceremonies.

Our shortlisted places to visit in Da Nang are considered must-see sites, however, many other experiences await you when you come to this beautiful city. If you have any other place to share, feel free to let us know!

1. My Khe Beach

Da Nang's beachfront is miles long, beginning at the Son Tra Peninsula and ending at Hoi An. White sand beaches that are unoccupied for prolonged periods of the day may be found continuously. The most popular beaches in the south are Non Nuoc, Pham Van Dong, My Khe, and My Anh. However, My Khe stands out as the most well-liked by tourists and also by many Danang residents. Locals like to swim or play sports in the beautiful water and on the powdery beach before the sun goes down. You will see that My Khe is busy in the early morning or late afternoon like before/after the locals go to work. Following that, you may go out for a delicious seafood meal or sunset beverage at one of the numerous local sky bars in the city center.

2. Han River Bridge

The Han River Bridge was built for two years, from 1998 to 2000. Vietnamese architects and construction workers did take great pride in this bridge. Its aesthetic value lies in its potential to improve transit, increase local tourism, and stimulate economic development in Danang. The overall dimensions of the reinforced concrete structure are 487.7m in length, 11.9m in breadth, with 11 spans and 2 stay cable spans of a combined 122.7 m in length.

da nang attraction han river

The Han River Bridge stands out among others in Vietnam since it is the country's first and only swing bridge. And for its outstanding light-on at night, of course! No cars are permitted to cross the Han River Bridge before the swing time. From about 1 AM to 4 AM daily, the bridge's midsection rotates 90 degrees on its axis. Large vessels may easily navigate the river and under the bridge during this time. In recent years, the bridge has become something of a "specialty" for the area, prompting authorities to change the hour it spins to 11 PM to 12 AM on Saturdays and Sundays to accommodate the schedules of most tourists.

3. Dragon Bridge

Beautiful suspension bridges may be seen in many Vietnamese cities. However, Da Nang boasts the longest of these bridges, the Dragon Bridge. The residents are understandably proud of the dragon structure on this state-of-the-art, six-lane bridge. In Vietnamese culture, dragons stand for progress and national strength. You can particularly see it in our pagodas, Van Mieu, or many historical sites. Then, you know, the dragon symbol is something special to Vietnamese people.

da nang city attractions dragon bridge

The dragon atop this bridge is illuminated by bright LEDs at night. Many people gather to watch it perform every Saturday and Sunday night at 9 o'clock as fire and water shoot out of its mouth, representing a dragon spitting fire as it flies into the East Sea. Where are the best places to see the show? Immerse yourself in the activity right on the bridge. Take a seat at one of the cafes along Tran Hung Dao. You may also stop by the Son Tra night market and get a bite to eat.

This bridge is one of the most recognizable places to visit in Da Nang . After sunset, the bridge, which changes color every few minutes, is at its most beautiful when viewed from a stroll along the river's edge. It also serves as a great setting for that perfect Instagram photo.

4. Marble Mountain

The Marble Mountains are easily accessible via the Danang–Hoian coastline route, which is about 8 kilometers southeast of Danang City. The Marble Mountains are a group of five rocky outcrops composed of marble and limestone. The height of the Marble Mountains is remarkable in relation to the surrounding low, flat floodplains, even if they are not as enormous as truly gigantic mountains. The Cham people of central Vietnam once used these mountains as sacred shrines. After that, caverns and the peaks of mountains became home to Buddhist temples and shrines. Using the five elements of Eastern philosophy—Kim (metal), Tho (earth), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire), and Thuy (water)—King Minh Mang dubbed the mountains "Ngu Hanh Son" in 1825. During the French colonial era, French geologists discovered that the mountains were made of marble, hence the name "Marble Mountains".

Mt. Thuy Son is the highest and most stunning of the five mountains. You have your choice of a glass elevator or a set of stone stairs leading to the peak. Its highest peak provides a breathtaking vista over the seaside, Danang, and the surrounding countryside. Once you've descended to ground level, stop in one of the souvenir shops for a unique memento.

5. Sunworld Bana Hill Complex

Bana Hills, located 42 kilometers west of Danang City, is home to stunning natural scenery, verdant mountains, a world-class amusement park, and awe-inspiring architectural creations like a full-fledged French replica village, spiritual landmarks, and, of course, the Golden Bridge. If you are not going to this place once, then you seem not to visit Danang. The hill, located on the Nui Chua mountain at an elevation of 1,487 meters, was first established as a hill station in 1919 and developed as a vacation spot for French colonists.

da nang top attractions ba na hill complex

In recent years, it has received substantial investment and expansion to become Sunworld Bana Hills, a world-class resort and entertainment complex featuring the greatest French architecture.

Bana Hills is full of exciting attractions, making it the top place to go in Danang, but the highlight is the Golden Bridge. Since its opening in June 2018, the bridge has been frequented by sightseers in awe of its extraordinary architecture. The 150-meter-long footbridge is held aloft by the cliff faces by two enormous concrete hands. Stunning and Instagrammable! Danang's golden silk strip hidden in the jungle shines vividly against the bright yellow of the bridge. The Thien Thai garden, the French town, and the Le Jardin D'Amour flower garden are all interconnected thanks to the Golden Bridge.

da nang places of interest golden bridge

Moreover, this hill station seems like something out of a fairytale, with its castles and cobblestone lanes and pretty courtyards. The complex is a strange blend of ancient East and Western architecture, including a number of Buddhist temples and statues that were clearly designed with tourism in mind. The journey up the world's longest cable car lift is worth it for the breathtaking views of the valley below. At the mountain's peak, the air is crisp and clear, and there are countless interesting sights to capture on camera. Despite the high price of admission, a day trip to Bà Nà hills is well worth it for the incredible scenery and array of activities available for visitors of all ages.

6. My Son Sanctuary

The ancient Champa culture of Vietnam, which formerly dominated southern Vietnam, left behind abandoned remains at the My Son Sanctuary, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Spanning an impressive ten centuries, this architectural marvel was meticulously crafted between the 4th and 14th centuries, showcasing the incredible skill and dedication of the ancient Champa civilization. Right in the heart of the Champa civilization, lies a magnificent temple dedicated to the revered Hindu God Shiva. This central place of worship served as a hub for the Champa people to pay their respects and offer their devotion to the divine.

As wandering through the ancient ruins, you couldn't help but marvel at the intricate craftsmanship of the soft bricks that made up the walls. These bricks, baked at a low temperature, have stood the test of time and continue to tell the story of the civilization that once thrived here. As stacked one on top of the other, they seamlessly fused together.

da nang sightseeing my son

It is said the builders had a unique technique for creating their structures. After carefully crafting each brick, they would set the entire building ablaze, allowing the flames to solidify the structure and ensure its durability for generations to come.

My Son offers an interesting and educational day excursion thanks to the magnificent sculptures of Hindu deities found there. To fully appreciate the place, it is best to take a tour conducted by a local expert. The majority of the structures were destroyed by American carpet bombing during the war, and massive bomb holes can still be seen around the area. Don't pass up the chance to learn about this forgotten empire by seeing its mountainous, overgrown remains.

7. Son Tra Peninsula and Linh Ung Pagoda

The Son Tra Peninsula is a popular tourist destination due to its long and white sand beaches, primeval woods, and sacred spiritual places. It is located 10 kilometers northeast of Danang City, 693 meters above sea level. Danang is protected from typhoons and other sea-borne disasters by the towering Son Tra and Hai Van mountain ranges, which appear to rise directly out of the water and enfold Danang City and Danang Bay. The rich ecosystem of animals and plants in Son Tra is likely to astound any nature enthusiast. The Son Tra Peninsula has been designated as a Special Conservation Area since 1980, and the Son Tra Nature Reserve is under tight protection due to the more than 30 km2 of natural woods found there. Therefore, this is the top place to go in Danang with unspoiled beaches ideal for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving to explore a diverse array of marine life, including hundreds of species of coral, sea grass, seaweed, mollusks, Echinodermata (starfish, urchins, etc.), and plankton.

da nang things to see son tra penninsula

If you are into the culture as well, please visit Linh Ung Pagoda with the stunning white statue of the 67-meter-high Goddess of Mercy Buddha atop the hill. That enormous white statue can be seen from the beach at My Khe, tucked into the mountain at the far end of the beach. According to the myth, the Lady Buddha ensures the safety of fishermen sailing through dangerous waters. The Son Tra (Monkey) Mountain blocks off dangerous storms at sea. Beautiful panoramas await those who make the ascent by foot or horseback. On the way up, you may see the critically endangered red-shanked douc (Pygathrix nemaeus). The 4,000 hectares of luxuriant jungle that surrounds the mountain provide a cool, lush alternative to the beach on hot days. The pagoda's 20-hectare grounds are home to several structures, including the main hall, ancestor's house, lecture hall, library, cafeteria, and Arhat statue garden. Linh Ung pagoda is, thus, the biggest in Da Nang.

8. Hai Van Pass

Motorcycling fans may want to explore this mountain pass after seeing the show Top Gear's 2008 Vietnam Special.

da nang must see hai van pass

Hai Van Pass, a magnificent route that spans 21 kilometers, is well-known for numerous things. It is among the nation's longest and tallest roadway to be conquered by adventure lovers. During wartime, it served as an important dividing line. Also, it delineates the climatic differences between the tropical south and the subtropical north. Its proximity to other famous destinations like Da Nang, Hue, and Hoi An further contributes to its popularity. The 165 kilometers over the pass connecting these three cities make for a spectacular road journey. If you are into adventure and would like to roam around with mobility, wake up early and enjoy a full day riding through Hai Van Pass. Either do it all in one long day, or split it up into two days with overnight stops is fine. It is, in any way, going to be the best experience you have ever had while in Danang.

9. Museum of Cham Sculpture

The Museum of Cham Sculpture in Danang is home to the largest collection of Cham artifacts in the world. In around the fourth century, Champa was a thriving monarchy in southern Vietnam. The My Son remains are a popular place to visit in Da Nang since they were once used as the royal temple. Spend a day at the museum learning amazing facts about this ancient society if you're interested in learning more about these ancient people.

places to go in da nang cham museum

The museum's collection spans eight centuries, from the height of Champa sculpture to its eventual decline, and visitors may witness this transformation firsthand. The relics serve as symbolic representations of the triumph and demise of the Champa culture. We may appreciate the highest goal of art, the birth of the infinite from the limited, as we contemplate these works of art. The Champa museum's collection spans eight centuries, documenting the highs and lows of Champa artistic production. Stones were given life via artistic expression, and now we can feel the warmth of the Champa artisans' hands on the delicate skin of these priceless relics.

10. Danang Cathedral

For the sake of the local French Catholic community, French priest Louis Vallet constructed Danang Cathedral in 1923; it first opened its doors to the public in March 1924. It was also the only church constructed in Danang by the French.

places to visit in da nang cathedral

The 70-meter-tall, pink-painted church is a Gothic masterpiece with a variety of medieval stained glass windows depicting saints in various states of holiness. Behind the church is a grotto dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is a copy of the one in Lourdes, France. When visiting a Western church, visitors can expect to see religious artwork depicting biblical scenes.

The rooster weathercock atop the massive bell tower of Danang Cathedral has earned it the nickname "Rooster Church" among the locals.

11. Art in Paradise

If you're looking for somewhere cool to go on a hot day or a dry place to hide from the rain, Art in Paradise is the place to go in Danang. This place is home to Vietnam's most comprehensive collection of 3D Trick art and belongs to The Art in Paradise Global Group - the largest group of 3D museums in the world.

da nang things to see art in paradise museum

The Museum spans 4,000 square feet (400 square meters) across two stories and is divided into nine distinct sections. Twenty exceptionally talented and creative Korean artists set out to create the world's first and only dedicated museum of 3D Trick art in just 4 months.

In contrast to traditional galleries, this one encourages audience participation. The foundation of Art In Paradise Danang is an innovative approach that successfully marries high-quality artworks with lighthearted and heartfelt concepts. The museum is an incredible indoor cultural attraction. If you're in Da Nang, you really must check out Art in Paradise. Don't pass up the opportunity to try something truly remarkable.

12. Phap Lam Pagoda

Despite being in the middle of a busy city, the Phap Lam Pagoda exudes an air of peacefulness and serenity that many people are looking for. In addition to its spiritual significance, this location is stunning since there are many trees, exquisite Buddhist statues, and well-kept gardens.

Seeing the locals and monks gather every morning to pray is a moving sight, giving a closer zoom into local culture and religion. The 1.1-meter-tall Buddha statue in the pagoda's courtyard, and the sculptures of the Goddess of Mercy are major draws that must be visited by sightseers. Similar to other pagodas, a short top or bottom is not appropriate for tourists to go inside, so you need to check on clothes before going. If you want to stay around to have something to eat, feel free to do so as there are cafes and eateries around with vegetarian options.

Da Nang Best Attractions: Our Choices

The marble mountains.

Main article: The Marble Mountains

10-mins drive from the city downtown, the Marble Mountains is a complex of five spectacular marble hills with old Buddhist temples and incredible caves. To sightsee, visitors need to trek on hundreds of steps. Around its foot, Non Nuoc marble village boasts of its 400-years handicraft in making sculptures. This attraction was named by the king as “Five-elements Mountain”. In the busiest year, it attracts 2 million tourists.

Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge

Main articles: Ba Na Hills , the Golden Bridge

Ba Na Hills was widely known by tourists before its Golden Bridge became a social media hit recently. Both stand in Da Nang’s highest mountain, nearly 1,500 meters above sea level, where the temperature is always lower than anywhere in town. After a 40-mins drive, visitors enjoy the ride on the world’s longest cable car that moves above a pristine rainforest with impressive rocks and falls. Flower gardens, a large Buddha, Vietnam’s only underground theme park, a huge French town, outdoor performances from European dancers, and temples are what to see in the hills. Half of visitors traveling to Da Nang note these places in their bucket list.

Dragon Bridge

Main article: The Dragon Bridge

Breathing fire and water each evening on the weekend, this bridge with a large steel dragon is a must for nightlife at that time. In the daytime, a visit here can be combined with Museum of Cham sculpture, and when it’s dark, with Son Tra night market near the head.

Museum of Cham Sculpture

Main article: Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture

Established in 1915 and built in 1919, this museum now houses the largest collection of Cham sculptures in Vietnam, nearly 2,500. Only one fifth of them are exhibited but it’s enough to see, admire and know better the Champa kingdom’s history and culture. A handful of noble titles “the National treasure” are here.

Lady Buddha

Main article: The Lady Buddha Da Nang

Some 10 kilometers from the city downtown, this statue of Lady Buddha is 67 meters in height, the largest of its kind in Vietnam. Local fishers come here to pray before setting sail, because they think that she shelters and saves them on the sea when faced with the dangers. In the same hill, Linh Ung Pagoda “the third” includes grand Buddha shrines, ornamental trees and marble sculptures. Visitors love to enjoy scenic views over the surroundings from here, especially at sunset.

Hai Van Pass

Main article: Hai Van Pass

Hai Van pass or “the Ocean Cloud pass” is in the north most of Da Nang. It’s 20 kilometers in length, and the top is at an elevation of nearly 1,500 meters. None of the motorcyclists and cyclists doesn’t know this picturesque coast route, with a high mountain on one side and the sea on the other. Soaked in the mist frequently, a ride here provides many fun and lots of photo opportunities. On Hue’s side, blueish Lang Co lagoon is a popular stop to unwind and taste fresh seafood.

My Khe Beach

Main article: My Khe Beach

A short drive from the city center or airport, this world-famous sandy beach stretches for miles, with sun beds lounging on. It’s edged by unpolluted waters in the front, coconut palms in the back and a view to the Lady Buddha. There are lots of sea-facing hotels and seafood restaurants lining the boulevard running parallel to it. During the Vietnam war, American soldiers camped by My Khe beach, and habitually called it “China beach”. Now, a government-owned rehabilitation hospital is still based here.

Da Nang Travel Guide 2024: Everything You Need to Know

Da Nang is a city that has it all: stunning beaches, majestic mountains, rich culture, and delicious cuisine. Whether you’re looking for adventure, relaxation, history, or entertainment, Da Nang has something for everyone. In this Da Nang Travel Guide 2024, you’ll find everything you need to know to plan your perfect trip to this amazing destination. You’ll learn about the climate and the best time to visit, how to get there, where to stay, what to see and do, what to eat, and what to buy as a gift. By the end of this guide, you’ll be ready to pack your bags and explore the wonders of Da Nang.

1. Where is Da Nang in Vietnam?

Da Nang City is located in the Central region, equally divided between the capital Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City. Da Nang is also the center of three world cultural heritages: Hue Imperial City, Hoi An ancient town , and My Son Sanctuary. The north of Da Nang borders Thua Thien Hue province, the west and south border Quang Nam province, and the east borders the East Sea.

2. Climate in Da Nang and the Best Time to Visit

Da Nang is a transitional place between the Northern and Southern climates, with the dominant tropical climate in the South. Each year, there are two distinct seasons: the dry season from January to July and the rainy season from August to December. Sometimes there are cold spells in winter but they do not last long and the weather is not very cold.

  • Late December to late March : The weather is cool and pleasant, most ideal for spring trips. Prices for hotel and food services at this time are said to be the most stable of the year. Just a note that you should bring a thin jacket because it can be chilly in the evening, and sometimes there is spring rain.
  • Early April to mid-September : This is the best time to travel to Da Nang. Yet, it is also the peak summer tourism season, quite crowded and expensive. Besides that, April is the season when forest trees change their yellow and red leaves on the Son Tra peninsula.
  • Mid-September to late December : The weather is no longer hot, it starts to rain sporadically but does not last long. Also, the peak season has passed, so air tickets, accommodation services, and meals are more reasonably priced.

3. How to Go to Da Nang

Tourists often travel by plane from Hanoi and from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang. Ticket prices range from 1,300,000 – to 3,000,000 VND round trip, depending on the time of booking. Flight time is about 1 hour.

With more time, you can take the train to experience the scenery along the way, especially the section through Hai Van Pass if you come from the north. Train tickets from Hanoi or from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang cost about 630,000 VND ($26) to 1,900,000 VND ($78.5) one-way, corresponding to air-conditioned soft seats and four air-conditioned sleeper beds. Travel time is about 17 to 18 hours.

If you plan to drive your car, you need to spend at least a week on your trip to Da Nang. You should also have two drivers take turns driving or you can stop at places across the way. For example, from Hanoi, it is ideal to depart at noon or early afternoon and stay one night in Nghe An. If you go later, sleep in Thanh Hoa, and the next morning depart for Da Nang. Additionally, you can stop in Quang Binh in the afternoon to rest and explore more.

In Da Nang, you should rent motorbikes or cars to move flexibly. Renting a car is quite convenient. It can be delivered at the airport or hotel for an average price of 100,000 VND ($4) for motorbikes and about 1,000,000 VND ($41) for cars per day.

4. Accommodation in Da Nang

Tourism in Da Nang is developing rapidly. Along the coastal road, you can easily find hotels with many different prices. Besides that, Da Nang has many other forms of accommodation such as homestays, apartments, and dormitories located in the center. "The City of Bridges and Beaches"

Da nang tourism.

Da Nang sits prettily on the east coast of Vietnam, right between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Popularly known as the tourist capital of South-Central Vietnam, Da Nang is truly stunning - filled with beaches, museums, evolving nightlife and world-class infrastructure.

On the South China Sea coast, with the Han River flowing through its midst, Da Nang is beautified by multiple bridges. Of course, the most striking among them is the Golden Bridge adorned by a sculpture of two giant hands holding it up.

The city’s most famed attractions are The Marble Mountains - five enigmatic natural limestone and marble peaks housing caves, tunnels and temples. Bach Ma National Park, the 693-metre-tall Son Tra Mountain, and Ba Na Hills are popular hiking retreats, while devotees frequent Phap Lam Pagoda and the 67-metre-tall Buddha Shakyamuni statue in Linh Ung Pagoda. For seafood, surfing and kayaking, My Khe Beach, Pham van Dong Beach, Han River and Thanh Binh Beach are perfect relaxing hideouts.

Despite being highly urbanised, Da Nang shelters centuries-old relics of the 700-year-old Phong Nam Village, Con Ga Cathedral, Cao Dai Temple and Imperial City Palace, one of the oldest Vietnamese forbidden cities. Some more must-visit places to make the most of a Da Nang tour are Sun World Wonders, Cham Sculpture Museum, Con Market, and Da Nang Night Market.
