Do You Need a License to Be a Home Inspector?
Whether or not you need a license to work as a home inspector depends on the license laws in your state. Some states require home inspectors to earn licenses, and some don’t. So, before you set out to become a home inspector, make sure to find out the license requirements in your state .

Complete Home Inspection Training – Even If You’re Not Required To
Even if your state doesn’t require you to earn a home inspection license, you should still complete home inspector training to learn the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. You probably wouldn’t hire an untrained mechanic to fix your car, right? Similarly, homebuyers and sellers want to hire qualified, professional home inspectors to inspect their homes. 1. They have been known to mislead people into self-incriminating themselves - people co-operate and the next thing people know is they have a court summons. There are cases on this very forum of this happening. 2. The vetting of staff is questionable. One inspector has just been jailed for rape.
At least, not in rush hour. However, almost all the stations are major stations and frequently ticket inspectors stand at every exit and check tickets of all passengers exiting the station. They do it at random times. Some do travel ticketless, but if caught, the fines are higher or similar to a monthly pass. So most people just buy the ticket.
3. Pursue a bachelor's degree. Candidates need at least a bachelor's degree in a related subject to qualify for OSHA inspection positions. There are many majors that can help you prepare for a career as an inspector. For example, you may choose to pursue engineering, chemistry, occupational health or biology.
