Pensé et dessiné par les architectes Olivier Dongradi et Peter Harradine et ouvert en 1993, le Golf des Sept tours est un magnifique parcours 18 trous, par 72 de 6093 m. Sa situation à 30 Km de Tours et son implantation autour d’un château du XV ème siècle en fait un parcours d’exception dans la région.

Son relief plat vous donnera une impression de facilité qui pourra être contrariée par quelques fairways étroits en forêt, des obstacles d’eau bien placés et des roughs denses.

Ainsi, il faudra être long et précis pour scorer à votre niveau sur ce parcours si vous partez des backs tees. Mais rassurez vous, le parcours est plus indulgent pour les joueurs débutants.

Isolé dans la forêt Tourangelle, vous y apercevrez, les matins calmes, une faune sauvage peu farouche et vous pourrez vous restaurer dans notre club-house situé dans une ancienne chapelle.

Pour un week-end golfique ou un court séjour, le château vous ouvrira ses chambres de charme et son restaurant de qualité pour le soir.

Golf du Château of seven - Towers is a hotel of 18 holes - par 72 6093 meters open since 1993 in Courcelles-de-Touraine (37 - Indre-et-Loire) near towers in the Centre and 5 kilometres from the area of the Trigaliere.

The course, built around the 7 towers dating back to the 15 th century castle is partly wooded outward, offering one by 3 and two by 5 of 500 metres (n ° 5) and 520 mètres(n°9). Earn points on the back, more open.

Castle of the Sept Tours

Monument in courcelles-de-touraine.

The Château du Vivier des Landes, now called "Château golf des Sept Tours" is located in the town of Courcelles-de-Touraine , in Indre-et-Loire , 34 km north-west of Tours.

The building was first a manor with three towers built in the 16th century, to the east of the village. It was then a stronghold under Château-la-Vallière .

In 1815, acquired by an English nobleman, the manor was given two additional towers on the south side, and a large living room was added. Stables and a building dedicated to brewing beer were also built during this period.

Two additional towers were erected in 1834 by the Comte de Brissac, who also had the chapel restored.

In general, as fashion wanted in the 19th century, the building has been remodeled in a neo-Gothic style that blends with the medieval bases (moats now dry, interior stone staircase, remains of a drawbridge, monumental fireplaces, vaulted rooms in the basement).

From the 19th century, false battlements and machicolations are visible on the large southern tower, the music room in the old brewery, pepper shakers at the level of the towers, sculpted columns at the ceiling of the stable, the doors and the altarpiece (now transferred to the restaurant) of the chapel…

The castle has become the center of a 76-hectare estate where an 18-hole golf course has been designed. The house has been converted into a hotel with a restaurant.

Paintings and wallpaper from the 19th century have been preserved, as well as the Louis XV or Directoire furniture. The chapel has turned into a clubhouse.

We enjoyed this fantastic chateau on our second visit sharing it this time with family members. The welcome from the manager and staff was very warm. We feel privileged to be able to stay in such exceptional surroundings. It might priced at twice the amount of many chain hotels, but for this you have exceptional surroundings. A spacious building with real history, huge grounds. The rooms were clean and spacious. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant which was superb. Charming waitress and very imaginative food choice. Breakfast also excellent and plentiful. This was a fantastic stay!

Du vivier des landes au château golf des sept tours .

C’est en Indre-et-Loire, au Nord Langeais, et à 30 minutes de Tours que le domaine golfique des 7 Tours et son Château commence son histoire. A l’origine bâtiment privé connu sous le nom du Château du Vivier des Landes, était muni de trois tours. Cette demeure a connu des changements architecturaux traversant les époques, du Moyen-Âge à la Renaissance. Aujourd’hui, il offre une architecture gothique du XIXe siècle et est inscrit comme monument historique.

Un lieu d’exception à Courcelles-de-Touraine

Ce joyaux architectural et historique prend place sur un domaine de 76 hectares au cœur d'un large territoire d'étangs et de forêts giboyeuses. C'est en 1991 que le Château réaménagé en hôtel et restaurant de caractère, le golf 18 trous et la Chapelle devenue Club House et Brasserie ouvrent pour la première fois le domaine au public.

Aujourd'hui, le Château Golf des Sept Tours présente toujours une cheminée monumentale et un escalier à vis du Moyen-Âge. Les 22 chambres de style traditionnel bénéficient toutes d'une atmosphère et d'un style différent. A l'extérieur, la terrasse de la Brasserie a été prolongée par une piscine extérieure. Au restaurant gastronomique du Château, Laurence Hernandez, vous prépare une cuisine colorée, fraîche et qui sublime les saveurs naturelles des produits. Vous dégusterez ses plats fins et inventifs dans une véranda climatisée avec vue sur le golf.

Notre Restaurant et notre Brasserie sont ouverts aux clients extérieurs. Sur place, vous pourrez prendre vos petits déjeuners, déjeuners ou dîners. Vous dégusterez des plats fins et inventifs dans une véranda climatisée avec vue sur le golf ou dans notre Brasserie Club House.

Restaurant  Ouvert tous les jours de 19h à 21h.  Au restaurant gastronomique du Château, Laurence Hernandez, vous prépare une cuisine colorée, fraîche et qui sublime les saveurs naturelles des produits. Vous dégusterez ses plats fins et inventifs dans une véranda climatisée avec vue sur le golf.

Brasserie du Club House  Ouverte du lundi au jeudi de 12h à 14h et du vendredi au dimanche de 12h à 14h30.

The Golf du Chateau des 7 Tours is located in the town of Courcelles-de-Touraine in the department of Indre-et-Loire. The Chateau des Sept-Tours is an 18-hole golf-hotel - par 72 of 6093 meters open since 1993.

The Baroque Château des 7 Tours welcomes you through a huge alley lined with old oaks and tall poplars. Since 1990, an attractive 18-hole course has surrounded the seven towers of the castle. Today, the only fortresses of this 15th century mansion are the sand bunkers that defend the greens, flags and holes. We will remember the very beautiful hole n ° 14: a par 5 with a slight dogleg on the left. A nice game play and 3 large hideout pines located at the end of the drive. The course, built around the castle of the 7 towers dating from the 15th century is partly wooded on the way out, offering a single par 3 and two par 5 of 500 meters (n ° 5) and 520 meters (n ° 9). Tickets go on sale for Constellation Furyk & Friends; Brothers Osborne will be feature act

Tickets are now on sale and the musical talent has been procured for the fourth annual Constellation Furyk & Friends PGA Tour Champions event Oct. 4-6 at the Timuquana Country Club. 

Tournament officials announced that CMA and ACM Duo of the Year Brothers Osborne will headline the Furyk Foundation Concert on Oct. 1 at Daily's Place. Tickets for the concert and the golf tournament can be purchased by visiting constellationfurykandfriends.com or ticketmaster.com.

John and TJ Osborne are leaders of a progressive and still classic school of country music and have been nominated for 12 Grammys. They are the six-time CMA Vocal Duo of the Year and four-time ACM Duo of the Year. They have seven CMA awards, seven ACM trophies and received the ASCAP Vanguard Award in 2019. 

“We are thrilled to offer an event that truly celebrates the spirit of the Jacksonville community by bringing golf, music, entertainment and a variety of experiences for all ages and backgrounds," said Jim Furyk, tournament host, in a statement. "With the addition of Brothers Osborne to our concert lineup, we’re set to deliver an unforgettable start to what promises to be our best tournament yet.” 

Golf general admission tickets start at $25 for access to the tournament grounds, the Circle K ParTee Porch, Tailgate Village, Baptist Health Family Lounge, FIS First Tee and the Kids Zone. Youth 17 and under are admitted free to the tournament with a ticketed adult.

Military tickets for tournament rounds will be provided free by VyStar Credit Union for active duty, reserve, National Guard, retirees, veterans and dependents with a valid ID. The VyStar Patriots Outpost will once again provide complimentary access for military, veterans, and their families with views of the seventh green and eighth tee, along with complimentary food and beverage. 

Premium packages to Club 58 and Cabanas on 17 are also on sale. Club 58 is named for Furyk’s record-breaking single-round 58 on the PGA Tour and is presented by Florida Blue. The venue has views of the 10th green, 11th tee, 12th green, 13th tee, 17th green and 18th tee, with an open-air pavilion, shaded seating, tiered stadium seating overlooking the 18th tee and the player walkthrough from the 17th green.

The Cabanas on 17 is located on the 17th hole with all-inclusive premier food and beverages and views of one of Timuquana’s signature par-3 holes. Each private suite accommodates 20 people per day (Friday-Sunday) and includes mounted HD TVs, access to premium restrooms, and high-end furnishings by PRI Productions, including a bar rail facing the hole and soft seating inside.

Tournament has raised $3.5 million for charity  

Furyk & Friends has generated more than $3.5 million in charity in the first three years, including a $500,000 direct donation from Constellation. The money goes to North Florida charities such as the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation, First Tee – North Florida, Blessings in a Backpack, St. Johns Riverkeeper and Beaches Habitat for Humanity. 

"In terms of the interest in hospitality, our pro-ams (the Wednesday and Thursday pro-ams have been sold out all three years) the tournament has exceeded our expectations," said tournament director Adam Renfroe. "Since the grounds ticket revenue goes primarily to charity, we're never going to be completely satisfied with how many we sell and there's room for more. But we're very pleased overall with the impact the tournament has had in the community and for charity."

The tournament also benefits other local organizations including Wolfson Children’s Hospital Family Links Program, Operation Shower, Jacksonville Humane Society, Hope for the Holidays, K9s United, Guardian ad Litem Foundation, KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools and Walk Off Charities. 

Brett Quigley is the defending champion, joining Steve Stricker and Phil Mickelson in winning at Timuquana.
