Lewis Capaldi Will Bring the Heartbreak on New Album and Tour

Scottish singer-songwriter (and late-night Harry Styles texter ) Lewis Capaldi has officially announced his second album, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent , which will arrive May 19, 2023, on Capitol Records.

The album follows Capaldi’s hugely successful 2019 debut, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent , which featured the musician’s breakthrough single, “Someone You Loved.” A full track list for Broken by Desire hasn’t been released yet, but it will feature Capaldi’s latest single, “Forget Me” (which recently got a goofy video based entirely on the classic Wham! clip for “Club Tropicana”).

To make Broken by Desire , Capaldi reunited with the songwriting/production trio, TMS, as well as Phil Plested, both of whom he worked with on Divinely Uninspired . The new record also features contributions from pop’s most indomitable hitmaker, Max Martin.

Lewis Capaldi was class, one of the best concerts I’ve been to. The atmosphere was just electric with the crowd being so supportive and enthusiastic towards the music. His humour in between his songs throughout the concert made it 100 times better as Lewis forms a strong connection with the audience, making him loved even more, if possible, by his supporters. I loved seeing Lewis Capaldi in concert and without doubt I would go to see him perform live again, it was a great experience.

BUT, the staff should give away free water from the front to back. Everyone that is not standing in the last row, and stands next to the bar, has no chance of drinking anything. I find it really uncomfortable, because dancing and singing makes verry thirsty! And if you are scared of the people thowing the bottles at the act, just give the water in cups. PLEASE!

Phenomenal show, even better live. Funny grounded charming and truly cares about his fans.

The only issue was the venue had the volume way to loud and the instrumentals and bass drowned out his voice and reverberated off the infrastructure creating a terrible noise. It's a fairly small venue and speakers of that power are completely unnecessary.

Extremely amazing show, huge amounts of talent including Billy Locket. Lewis was funny and entertaining whilst also portraying his emotion the whole way through the songs. He dealt with technical issues and any mistakes made extremely well and made it fun for everyone. An unforgettable experience. Would definitely go again!

The concert was great - especially the entrance and the beginning of the concert

But in our opinion, the talkingpart between the songs took over and any variation of f**k was used way too much.

Nonetheless, we will still go to an other concert of Lewis Capaldi, because the songs and the performance were breathtaking!

I was great his voice sounds even better in live than in studio but.. Pretty disappointed he hasn’t performed the whole album and I wished it had confetti at the show just like the previous ones.

I’ll come back and bring people to enjoy the next show.

Lewis was amazing live! His voice sounded the exact same as on his records and he kept cracking jokes in between songs. He had everyone dying with laughter, joking about how love is dead and how he lost his Grammy nomination to Billie Eilish. Was lucky enough to see him in Glasgow, Scotland near his hometown!

The show was amazing! I had such a good time Lewis is one of my favorite artist, and the whole vibe was just brilliant! I also liked how he comunicates with the audience, he makes the best jokes! I really enjoyed it and I hope that he will be back in Prague again!

Utter brilliance, best gig I’ve been too and I’d happily re do the night if it were possible! Support acts all the way to lewis capaldi just phenomenal. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to listen to amazing music and a great rising star in lewis.

Pop artist Lewis Capaldi has announced 2023 tour dates.

The Scotish singer will begin the newly announced tour with a European leg from January into mid-March. The North American tour leg is set from late March into May, followed by concerts in New Zealand in July. In all, over 55 performances are scheduled.

In addition to the tour, Capaldi announced plans to release his next album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent , on May 19. Last month, he shared a music video for "Forget Me" and today shared an acoustic version.

When do Lewis Capaldi 2023 tour tickets go on sale and what is the presale code?

The general public on-sale begins as early as October 21. Presales for American Express / Citi cardholders begin October 19. Spotify, Live Nation, LN Mobile App., and local venues / radio presales will follow. Keep in mind, each date is different and details are subject to change.

Newly crowned “America’s Sweetheart” after nabbing the No.1 spot on Billboar d’s Hot 100, Lewis Capaldi has announced a joint US tour with Irish singer-songwriter Niall Horan in spring of 2020.

The Scottish singer-songwriter Capaldi will be hitting the road with his friend Horan on the ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ arena tour starting on 20 April at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville followed by a string of North American dates, including the MGM arena in Las Vegas and wrapping up the tour on 20 May in San Jose, California.

The tour takes its name from Horan’s hit single, ‘Nice To Meet Ya’, released earlier this month.

Horan has confirmed more dates will be announced soon and tickets for the tour go on sale 8 November. The duo will also be joined by American singer, Fletcher, as the opening act.

“This is so exciting!! I’m going back on the road and this time I’m going with my best friend in the whole wide world Lewis Capaldi and the beautiful Fletcher,” Horan tweeted.

Capaldi recently made headlines after hitting No.1 yesterday with his moving ballad, ‘Someone You Loved’.

The two singer-songwriters also recently appeared in a hilarious video for Glamour magazine, where they took the “Ultimate Friendship Test”, and talked about how they met and supporting each other’s music.

Lewis Capaldi, the 23-year-old Scottish superstar artist, has announced his summer 2020 North American tour. The headline run will kick off on July 17 at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, BC and include shows at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA (7/18), The Mission Ballroom in Denver (7/24) and Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion in Boston (7/31).

The official video for Lewis Capaldi’s new single, “Before You Go,” is out now. Directed by Kyle Thrash, the poignant clip captures the joyful moments recalled by a group of friends as they pay tribute to a vibrant young woman – played by Sasha Lane (American Honey, Hellboy) – whose suicide shocked them all.

“Before You Go” – one of three new songs on Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent Extended Edition – has topped the UK Singles and Irish Singles charts, marking Capaldi’s second No. 1 in the UK and third No. 1 in Ireland. The song was inspired by Lewis’ aunt, who committed suicide when he was a young boy. Examining the lyrics in this piece, Billboard observes, “The melancholic ballad details the agony-inducing aftermath of a loved on dying by suicide.” Clash says, “it’s a rousing piece of acoustic songwriting with a driving vocal – trademark Capaldi, in other words.” Global streams of “Before You Go” have soared past 245 million as the song climbs the charts at U.S. Top 40 and Hot AC radio.

Capaldi, whose 2019 fall North American tour was completely sold out, will join as a special guest on Niall Horan’s 2020 Nice To Meet Ya world tour. The outing will launch on April 20 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN and include shows at Barclays Center in New York (April 29) and The Forum in Los Angeles (May 18). Capaldi’s March 2020 tour of the UK and Ireland sold out in mere seconds, making him the first artist in history to sell out arenas prior to the release of a debut album. He is nominated for four BRIT Awards.

Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent was the biggest album of 2019 in the UK, and the single “Someone You Loved” was the biggest song of 2019, according the UK’s Official Charts. In the States, the track was nominated for a GRAMMY for Song of the Year and spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Someone You Loved” has now hit one billion combined global streams on Spotify alone. It is certified Platinum or greater in a total of 18 countries, including the U.S.

Lewis Capaldi signed with U.K.-based music licensing company PPL for international neighboring rights royalty collections. The company will collect royalties for the use of Capaldi's music on radio, TV and in public spaces globally. Capaldi is managed by Ryan Walter at Interlude Artists.

Lil Mosey ("Blueberry Faygo") and his label, Love U Forever, signed a global distribution partnership with Cinq Music ahead of his currently untitled EP to be released this spring. The first single from the EP, "Life Goes On," debuted on March 22.

"Wine into Whiskey" singer Tucker Wetmore inked a deal with WME for global booking representation. Wetmore, who moved to Nashville in 2020, signed a publishing deal in 2023 with Rakiyah Marshall ‘s Back Blocks Music. Ukrainian band Okean Elzy signed with Warner Music , which will release the group's first entirely-English album globally, including in the United States, where Elektra will handle distribution. The band is preparing for a series of charity gigs for its Help for Ukraine Tour, with shows slated in Ukraine and other European countries including Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany and Poland. The group is represented by manager Joel Mark at 9122 Management and Brian Cohen and Joe Friel at WME for booking.

Shaznay Lewis , formerly a member of U.K. group All Saints, partnered with Absolute Label Services for the release of her first solo album in 20 years. Titled Pages, the album is set for release on May 17. Lewis is represented by Wayne Russell at Massive Management and Solomon Parker at Wasserman for booking.

Hip-hop/R&B artist (and actual gas station owner) WRKINSILENCE signed a distribution and licensing deal with 10K Projects , which will release his debut EP later this year. He is managed by Lauren Fukawa .

Alt pop-rock artist Zoe Ko signed to Big Loud Rock , an imprint of Big Loud Records, in partnership with producer and songwriter management company, publisher, record label and A&R consulting company Double Down 11. She is managed by Ava Solomon at NXTWAVE.

Melbourne, Australia-based vocalist, lyricist and producer Vetta Borne signed with [PIAS] Australia , which put out her latest track, "40-40."

Americana singer-songwriter Cassandra Lewis signed to Elektra/Low Country Sound , which will release her forthcoming major label debut album, Lost in a Dream , later this year. She's managed by Mark Cunningham at Red Light.

Country singer Kanaan Brock signed to 10th Street Entertainment for management. His debut single, "Sinner and Saint," is out now.

M Music & Entertainment Group and Freddie Records signed up-and-coming norteño artist Nathan Acosta . The record deal comes ahead of his upcoming debut single, titled "Solo" and penned by Jesse Turner (of Grupo Siggno), which is set for release on April 19. Born in San Antonio, Tex., Acosta is a singer-songwriter and accordion player who was most recently on tour with Grupo Siggno and Jennifer Peña across the United States and Mexico. "This is an absolute dream come true for me," Acosta said in a statement. "Ever since I was a kid, I've dreamed of being able to record and play music in front of big crowds." – Griselda Flores
