Dadri’s National Thermal Power Corporation operates the world’s largest power plant at 216 m. The power plant generates 1670 MW, 840 of which originate from the coal-fired steam plant and 830 from gas-fired units. 

Dadri is known for more than just these industrial plants. In 1857, Raja Umrao Singh and some other chieftains fought against the British but were soon put to death.

Dasna is a small town in Uttar Pradesh. It is in the district of Ghaziabad. 

King Salarsri, a Rajput king, built the town in the day. There is a lot of history in this town. 

It is said that King Salarsri had leprosy and had to go to the town of Dasna to get treated. As soon as he moved into the town, the beauty of the River Ganga and its water captivated him.
