Every meal is cook to perfection to the delight of all who love high quality food. We highly recommend this Hotel-Restaurant place at the heart of the Gruyere region.

I'm not sure what we should have expected here at restaurant de la tour, what we found was a clean friendly if basic hotel. Our room was pretty sparse & old but clean. Breakfast is a cold buffet with local cheeses on offer, staff are... pleasant and the town immaculate as you would expect in Switzerland. Oh and of course it's expensive ! More

We were staying in the hotel tel so thought a meal in the restaurant would be convenient. On the website there is a menu with fondue but when we went in the restaurant we were presented with an Italian menu. Not all the choices were... available which was a shame also. The food was ok but a little greasy. It was also quite expensive but we expected this in Switzerland. More

We had a nice dinner of Caprese salad, tagliattle with salmon, grilled salmon and tiramisu. The Italian chef came over and explained the choices. We had the house wine which was also great.

My wife and I stopped for lunch in this restaurant on our way to Bern. Every dishes were excellent, the service was very good as well. Due to the season, most of the dishes proposed were revolving aournd "hunting", perfect for meat lovers. Personally, I... ordered the venison, and it was very tender, copious with fresh vegetables, could'nt ask for more. Another shining point was the dessert. We shared a tarte tatin with double cream from Gruyere and ice cream: marvelous! We highly recommend this restaurant. More

Une collision frontale a fait deux blessés lundi peu avant 13 h sur la H189 à La Tour-de-Trême. L’accident est survenu quand une automobiliste de 28 ans a dévié de sa trajectoire et percuté un véhicule venant en sens inverse.

Un accident de la circulation a fait deux blessés lundi peu avant 13 h sur la H189 à La Tour-de-Trême. Pour une raison encore inconnue, une automobiliste de 28 ans circulant en direction de l’autoroute a dévié de sa trajectoire et est entrée en collision frontale avec un véhicule venant en sens inverse, indique un communiqué de la police cantonale. Grièvement blessé, le conducteur du deuxième véhicule, âgé de 68 ans, a été héliporté par la Rega alors que l’automobiliste de 28 ans a dû être désincarcérée par les pompiers, avant d’être emmenée en ambulance vers un hôpital.

Pour les besoins de l’intervention, la route de contournement a été fermée à la circulation durant trois heures. Une enquête a été ouverte afin de déterminer les circonstances exactes de l’accident.
