Our problem was finding a tour that fit our interests. I contacted T & T Southampton to see what private tour options were available. Oliver Lane was responsive and extremely helpful in helping us plan a day to see Salisbury Cathedral and Magna Carta, Old Sarum, Stonehenge, and Avebury. Based on prior experience with tour companies offering private tours Oliver's price quote was very reasonable. He maintained excellent communications and provided us the details to obtain our tickets early at lower cost. The day before the tour he reconfirmed the details and provided advice about the weather. The day of the tour Oliver arrived promptly in a clean, comfortable Mercedes with a number of water bottles on hand. He is an excellent driver and provide great conversation and commentary throughout the day. We were pleasantly surprised that he accompanied us to all the sites and at his suggestion we had a nice lunch at Stonehenge after seeing the site. He even worked in couple extras (Silbury Hill and the New Forest). I happily recommend Oliver Lane's T & T Southampton tours for anyone wanting to see sites around Southampton. I have 1 hour and 30 minutes to get on my connecting flight to Tokyo and I am worried that I might not have enough time.

There are 4 airports in Moscow ;). Having said that, as you don't need to pass through the immigration, 1:30 is more than enough, unless your flight from UK is late.

Don't worry, it's the airline's duty to see you and your luggage through.

I just wanted to give an update to overall process and experience so it can be helpful to someone.

I flew with Aeroflot and I think due to the short amount of time for transfers my hold luggage was not transferred on the same flight to Tokyo. When I went to collect my luggage at Tokyo Narita there was a piece of paper with my name on it which indicated that my luggage was not there to collect. I had to go talk to someone for about 15 to 20 minutes giving them my details of what my suitcase looked like, what was in it, my personal details and where I was staying. I was told that it would be delivered to my hotel the next day by 6pm (it came around 3pm the next day). I had over 24 hours without my suitcase and fresh clothes. I brought this up and they gave me a slip stating that I can use it to go to shops to purchase whatever I needed with my own money and to give the receipts and details to the airline via email/some sort of support ticket through their website and they would reimburse me of up to $100.

Overall, I wish the process was a little smoother and less hectic. I hope this doesn't happen again in the future but I now know to bring spare clothes in my cabin luggage.
