Formed in Garden Grove, California, The Offspring became hugely popular during their glory days of the '90s, with their anthemic, metal-tinged punk that helped reignite interest in the genre for a new generation.

Featuring Dexter Holland (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman (lead guitar), Greg K (bass) and Pete Parada (drums), the beginnings of the band started in 1984, coming together under the moniker, Manic Subsidal. In 1986, they changed their name to The Offspring, A string of independent releases followed, with the band slowly gaining a footing in the West Coast punk scene.

Their self-titled debut appeared in 1989 to moderate success. Yet with their second record, "Ignition," The Offspring became underground favorites, finding fans of their relentless, power chord-driven punk. By 1994, fortunes were abut to change dramatically for The Offspring, with the release of their third album, "Smash." Despite being released on an independent label, "Smash" became a hit of the same name, propelling the band to stardom overnight, selling over four million records. Taking their cues from Nirvana and their quiet/loud dynamics, The Offspring found a string of singles make their way to chart success, with "Self-Esteem" and "Come Out And Play" gaining significant airplay.

Despite major labels knocking at the door, The Offspring decided to stay at the small independent, Epitaph, touring extensively thereafter across the US. After two years, the band caved and decided to join major label Columbia Records, a move that caused controversy amongst punk fans, garnering accusations of selling out. Regardless, their third album, "Ixnay on the Hombre," arrived in February 1997, a record that whilst maintaining positive critical acclaim, it failed to reach the same heights of success as "Smash."

In 1998, "Americana" attempted to regain the band's momentum, finding a hit with the pop-punk single, "Pretty Fly (for a white guy)," returning the quartet to mainstream success. "Conspiracy of One" was to be their next release, a record they threatened to offer as a free download online but their record company denied them this desire, with the record receiving a conventional release in 2000.

Three years later, The Offspring had recorded a new album of material, with "Splinter" offering a return to form. Subsequently, they embarked on international tours during which they found legions of fans across several continents. In 2005, a Greatest Hits was released, featuring new music in the single, "Can't Repeat." Their relentless touring schedule may have set new music releases back, but in 2008, they returned with "Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace," displaying a hotly anticipated return to form. Still hard at work over twenty years into their career, "Days Go By" was released in 2012 displaying a more mature sound for their fans.

Live reviews

The Offspring are a pop-punk band best known for a string of hits in the 90’s that you probably heard in at least one movie soundtrack or TV show, such as “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” and “Pretty Fly for a White Guy”.

They are known for their humorous, sardonic songs and their commercial success, as they are one of the most successful pop-punk bands of all time. They might not have the credibility of more underground punk bands, but their live show is undeniably a fun and energetic experience for even the most jaded punk fan.

They tend to draw a younger crowd, consisting of a good mix of people in their 20’s and 30’s nostalgic for the good old days of the 90’s, as well as younger people who are just discovering the band. The band has been around for quite some time, especially in a genre where bands sometimes only last a year or two, so they demonstrate a streamlined, workman-like approach that can only come with many years of practice and dedication, but they also never lose touch with their somewhat juvenile sense of humor.

There is a large amount of audience interaction, even when the band is playing larger festivals, with lots of stage-diving, singing along, etc. Anyone who grew up in the 90’s or is a fan of 90’s culture should see The Offspring, if only for the nostalgia.

Absolutely amazing venue! We brought our 2 daughters (16 & 13) for their first concert. We got there early and were 6 people from the front!

Security got rid of the drunk asshole within the 1st 30 minutes of the opening act... he snuck back in and they got him again! - It was crowded and pot smoke filled the air but the vibe was chill.... Until Offspring came on stage - within 10 seconds of the 1st song a mosh pit formed - a 6'4" 275lb guy decided to get in my face and my girls started freaking out... I guess I am the mama bear type cuz I shoved right back. Protecting the girls from the pit I kept pushing.. I fell into the pit and was pulled out instantly and we rushed through the crowd to get away from the pit- both daughters crying now...Security here is amazing - they saw my girls crying and brought them waters and let them sit.. We got them calmed and enjoyed the rest of the show!

Offspring was fantastic and Sublime w/Rome phenomenal!! - Plus 1st time I ever heard the Menzingers, and they are great!!!

Pop-punk band The Offspring are known well for their satirical and tongue in cheek approach to music. They have been performing as a band since the mid-80's and really know how to work their crowd. A technically able live band, the fun aspect of their show comes out when performing early material such as 'Self Esteem' and 'Come Out and Play'.

A great festival act, they really know how to interact with their audience and the sheer sound of the music along with the crowd's cheers can draw revellers from around the site to their stage. The band are beginning to show their age yet when classic songs such as 'All I Want' begin they play like a group thirty years their junior.

Supported by a mammoth crowd who clap, cheer and fist pump at all the right moments. The atmosphere is electric throughout as the band play a career spanning set of cult hits, the finale of 'Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)' and 'The Kids Aren't Alright' receives mammoth applause and cheers and cements the group's reputation as cult icons.

The show was canceled due to protests for better living conditions in the country! Throughout the week, thousands of Chileans took to the streets to protest for improvements in health, education, transportation. Revolted by government corruption and tired of being exploited by the system.

Because of this situation, the offspring show had to be canceled

Was an amazing concert. I just wish they would've played the song I went there for. I was hoping for GONE AWAY. I lost my father a year ago and had a connection with this song. Guess I'll have to wait for five finger death punch to return to hear that song live.

Terrible. I been in shoreline multiple times and for the first time the sound was terrible.

All the speakers from the laws where off. i already have tickets for others concerts there and I'm thinking of selling them if they don't fix the sound soon.

This was my first Offspring show. It was great. I wish they would have played longer. I did have a really good time. A friend and I drove from Minneapolis to Souix Falls S.D. to see them. They do not seem to come to Minneapolis/St Paul much.

Sick show! The sound was good though the Luna park doesn't have a good acoustic. To me The Offspring is a up lifting band! So I spend the whole concert in to moshpit! So it was pretty enjoyable!

“One of the best things about being on tour is traveling the world playing to great audiences, and it’s even better when you can do it with your friends – we had sold out International tours with Simple Plan and Sum 41, and we’re excited that they’ll be joining us this Summer in America. It’s going to be great!” said Dexter Holland of The Offspring

“We couldn’t be more excited to get back on tour all across the US with our friends The Offspring and Sum 41! We had such a blast touring with both of them last year that we just had to do it again and put together what we feel will be one of the most awesome tours of the summer. There’s nothing like going to see a show outside on a perfect summer night, and we hope our fans will join us and enjoy this really special show. See you there!” said Chuck Comeau of Simple Plan.

“We’re so excited to be back touring the States with The Offspring and Simple Plan this summer!” said Deryck Whibley of Sum 41. “There’s nothing better than hitting the road with your friends, and we can’t wait to bring the tour to you – see you soon!”

Frequently regarded as one of the best rock bands of all time, The Offspring have garnered a reputation for their unmistakable sound and social comment. The multi-platinum band first achieved worldwide success in the 90’s with the release of their album Smash, which sold over 11 million copies. Following Smash, they continued to release hit after hit, popularizing rock at a mainstream level. The group is also currently working on new music.

Throughout their career, they’ve sold over a staggering 40 million albums, and toured arenas, and built a global fan base. Let the Bad Times Roll marks the band’s tenth studio album and third album produced by the legendary Bob Rock. True to the irreverence at the core of their rock music, the band and lyricist Dexter Holland took a view to today’s cultural moments and didn’t shy away from creating topical material in this album.

ABOUT OFFSPRING The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Originally formed under the name Manic Subsidal, the band’s lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Bryan “Dexter” Holland, bassist Todd Morse and lead guitarist Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman. Over the course of their 38-year career, they have released ten studio albums. The Offspring is often credited—alongside fellow California bands Green Day and Rancid—for reviving mainstream interest in rock in the 1990s. They have sold over 40 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling rock bands in history.

ABOUT SIMPLE PLAN From their new millennium rise to MTV superstardom through pop-punk’s modern resurgence, SIMPLE PLAN have been an indelible part of pop culture since forming in Montreal in 1999. They’ve sold 10 million albums worldwide, won multiple Juno Awards, performed at the 2010 Winter Olympics – and, most recently, launched the omnipresent #ImJustAKid TikTok challenge that’s spawned more than 3.4 million videos, including clips from Hilary Duff, Ed Sheeran, Usher and Venus and Serena Williams. But most importantly, they’ve never lost connection with what really matters: their audience.

That ambition is fully on display on the band’s sixth studio album, HARDER THAN IT LOOKS. The first self-released album from Comeau, vocalist Pierre Bouvier and guitarists Sébastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco, the album respects Simple Plan’s storied career while pushing forward in new ways, with songs like “The Antidote,” “Ruin My Life” (ft. Deryck Whibley),“Congratulations,” “Wake Me Up (When This Nightmare’s Over)” and “Iconic” set to stand as fan favorites for years to come.

ABOUT SUM 41 Looking back at the band’s storied 27-year career with over 15 million records sold worldwide, multiple Billboard Charting releases, a Grammy Award nomination, 2 Juno Awards (7 nominations), a Kerrang! Award in 2002, and multiple Alternative Press Music Awards , Sum 41 is still at the top of their game. Vocalist Deryck Whibley shas hared that the band’s new double album, titled Heaven and Hell , is shaping up to be the most ambitious of their career – half of the album brings Sum 41 back to their pop punk roots, Heaven , and half of the album is strictly metal, Hell .

"Big Nude Boat" offers a trip to "bare-adise" on a naked cruise from Florida

By Li Cohen

Updated on: May 2, 2024 / 8:20 AM EDT / CBS News

Like to travel light? One cruise ship soon to set sail from Florida is making sure all you need is the bare necessities – no shoes, no clothes but plenty of service.

" The Big Nude Boat " will take travelers from Miami to the Caribbean on "an 11-day adventure back to Bare-adise," the website says. Setting sail from Feb. 3 through Valentine's Day 2025, the trip offers a "stress-free, clothes-free experience" during which up to 2,300 passengers can roam the ship in the nude while out at sea.

"It's our pleasure to provide you with the luxury of deciding what NOT to wear," Bare Necessities Tour and Travel says.

@cbsmornings Would you dare to set sail on a nude cruise? 🚢 Cruisebare's upcoming full-ship nude cruise, departing from Miami in February next year, is making waves. Even #TonyDokoupil is down to go. 🌊 #cruises #vacation #experience #miami #sail ♬ original sound - CBS Mornings

Passengers won't be allowed to be naked when the ship is docked, but can ditch their usual attire once they are anchored or out on the water. And when clothing is optional, standard nudist etiquette must be abided by, the website says. When sitting, nude passengers must either wear a thong or sit on a towel or some kind of fabric. And while the self-serve buffet on the pool deck is a clothes-free area, passengers must be dressed for all dining room meals – and no, bathrobes don't count.

Photos and videos will also not be permitted unless all individuals being documented give consent.

"The Big Nude Boat" is just one of the cruises offered by Bare Necessities, which says on its website that the company has been "working to break down the barriers against social nudity and make clothing-optional vacationing a viable and acceptable option for all."

"Social nudity is not a sexual activity, and we strive to dispel the misconception that it is anything but natural and beautiful," the company says. "We have made strides in the acceptance of nude vacationing and our wide range of cruise charters are a testament to our success."

Kentucky Derby Update for Friday, May 3, 2024: Rainy Morning on Derby Eve Greets Hopefuls for 150th Run For The Roses

May 03, 2024 kevin kerstein.

the offspring tour florida

The rains came Friday morning at Churchill Downs as contenders for the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve (GI) put in their exercise over a sloppy track or confined their activity to walking the shedrow.

Scratch time for the Derby was 9 a.m. (all times Eastern) and there were no defections. That meant Mugatu would not be in the starting gate for the $5 million classic test Saturday at 6:57 p.m.

CATALYTIC – With overnight rain that was heavy at times, trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. decided to have Tami Bobo, Julie Davies and George Isaacs’ Catalytic walk the shedrow Friday morning.

The lightly raced Florida Derby (GI) runner-up drew post 5 with Jose Ortiz to ride. In the Derby advance wagering after three days, Catalytic is 37-1.

CATCHING FREEDOM/JUST A TOUCH – Catching Freedom and Just a Touch both had their final Derby training sessions, galloping 1 ½ miles at 7:45 a.m. Friday over the sloppy surface.

“We’re ready to go. Let’s do this,” trainer Brad Cox said.

DOMESTIC PRODUCT/SIERRA LEONE  – Trainer Chad Brown’s Kentucky Derby duo of Sierra Leone and Domestic Product hit the track just before 6 a.m. and galloped twice around beneath the rain drops.

Sierra Leone, winner of the Blue Grass Stakes (GI) in his most recent start, signaled his quality during his seasonal bow in the Risen Star Stakes (GII) when he was able to rally from ninth over a sealed, sloppy track after they went a half-mile of :49.67. If you are the company you keep, that race has continued to flatter the son of Gun Runner as the top five finishers in the Risen Star are all set to be in the Kentucky Derby starting gate.

“I knew I wanted to run there because of the long stretch and the timing of the race,” Brown said of the Risen Star. “You know it came up a super tough race and the weather was really challenging. But the horse ran against everything and still won … especially on a track that not many horses were closing on that day. This horse was able to overcome a lot and get there. And he’s really moved forward from there.”

Sierra Leone is the 3-to-1 second choice on the morning line.

DORNOCH/SOCIETY MAN  – Fountain of Youth Stakes winner (GII) Dornoch had a scheduled walk day while his stablemate Society Man hit the track early under the watch of trainer Danny Gargan for a jog over the sloppy conditions, but was feeling good enough to break into a gallop coming off the track.

ENDLESSLY – The multiple-stakes winning colt bred and owned by Joan and Jerry Amerman took advantage of the special 7:45-8 a.m. training period Friday for Derby or Oaks runners.

The Oscar Performance offspring had regular exercise rider Walter Davilia at the controls as they did a one-mile tour of a sloppy racing strip. On hand to observe the exercise were trainer Michael McCarthy and his right-hand assistant Justin Curran.

“He was loving the track this morning,” McCarthy said. “It was good to see him going so well.’

The trainer was asked how he felt about his horse and his situation on the eve of Derby 150.

“I’m feeling good about where we are,” he said.

He was further asked if he was feeling “real good” about it all.

“I try to not get too high, or too low,” was the reply. “But I’m feeling good.”

EPIC RIDE -- Welch Racing’s Epic Ride jogged in the mile chute shortly before 8 o’clock with Sophie Doyle aboard for trainer John Ennis.

Epic Ride will exit post 20 under Adam Beschizza.

“I just want him to run his race,” Ennis said of his hopes for Saturday. “And I just want the rain to stop. I want a fast track.”

Epic Ride will not go to the track in the morning.

FIERCENESS  – The Kentucky Derby morning line favorite (5-2) took his final bit of exercise Friday at Churchill Downs during the 7:45-8 a.m. training session limited to Oaks and Derby runners.

Trainer Todd Pletcher was trackside overseeing the exercise by the Repole Stable homebred who had regular exercise rider Danny Wright aboard. The two went in at the 5 ½-furlong gap, then quickly broke off at the five-furlong pole for a solid one-mile navigation of the oval.

Pletcher was reminded that this is the 24th year that he will be running a horse in the world’s most famous race. He was asked if it is getting “old hat” by now.

“No way,” was the answer. “If anything, it just becomes more nerve racking.”

After his Florida Derby winner came off the track following his leg stretching, the conditioner was asked how he assessed his situation heading into Kentucky Derby 150.

“All good,” was the simple and direct reply.

FOREVER YOUNG (JPN) – Susumu Fujita’s Forever Young (JPN) came on the track at 5:20, spent 10 minutes in the mile chute warming up under jockey Ryusei Sakai and then galloped on a sloppy track before returning to the chute for another 10 minutes to cool down before returning to the Quarantine Barn in a driving rain.

Looking on from the viewing stand at the six-furlong gap was trainer Yoshito Yahagi.

Yahagi, trained Loves Only You (JPN) and Marche Lorraine (JPN) to Breeders’ Cup victories at Del Mar in 2021. Was asked what he would like to see from his undefeated runner to keep his record perfect.

“First of all, I want him to come back safe,” Yahagi said. “I don’t want him to get too much excited and after that it is up to the jockey.”

Forever Young is scheduled to go to the track Saturday morning at 5:15.

GRAND MO THE FIRST – Granpollo Stables’ Grand Mo the First walked the shedrow under tack as trainer Victor Barboza Jr. opted to pass on going to the track as heavy rain fell.

“He had a strong gallop yesterday and schooled in the paddock yesterday afternoon and did very well,” Barboza said.

Grand Mo the First will exit post 15 under Emisael Jaramillo, starting next to Derby favorite Fierceness who led all the way in the Florida Derby (GI) in which Grand Mo the First was third.

HONOR MARIE – Ribble Farms, Michael Eiserman, Earl Silver, Kenneth Fishbein and Dave Fishbein’s Honor Marie had a quiet morning during training hours but got a taste of the Oaks Day crowd, schooling in the paddock during the first race.

JUST STEEL – The D. Wayne Lukas-trained Just Steel hit the track early for an easy jog over the rain-soaked Churchill Downs surface. The son of Justify owned by BC Stables and Henry Schmueckle is coming into the Derby off a runner-up finish in the Arkansas Derby (GI) on March 30, his 11th career start.

MYSTIK DAN – Trainer Kenny McPeek sent Lance Gasaway, 4 G Racing and Daniel Hamby III’sMystik Dan out Friday morning at the scheduled Derby/Oaks training time for a typical gallop.

With exercise rider Martin Reyes up, Mystik Dan went about a mile and three-eighths. The colt will start from post 3 with jockey Brian Hernandez Jr. aboard in the Derby.

After three days of advance wagering, the winner of the Southwest Stakes (GIII) and third-place finisher in the Arkansas Derby (GI) – both at Oaklawn Park – was a 19-1 choice for the Kentucky Derby.

RESILIENCE – With trainer Bill Mott keeping watch from astride his pony, Wood Memorial Stakes (GII) winner Resilience came out during the 7:45 a.m. training period and galloped twice around.

STRONGHOLD – Trainer Phil D’Amato repeated his early go with his Derby colt Stronghold Friday morning, sending the Ghostzapper offspring trackside at 5:30 with exercise rider Sherri Alexander at the controls.

The two went right off out of the six-furlong chute on a sloppy strip as light rain fell and did a once-around tour of the big Churchill oval.

After she came off the strip, Alexander had a big smile. “He felt great,” she said.

Reports out of the D’Amato barn all week have been glowing concerning the Santa Anita Derby (GI) winner. The way the story goes, Eric and Sharon Waller’s homebred bundle of joy has just gotten better and better since the turn of the year.

He started 2024 with a trip to New Mexico and a tally in the Sunland Derby. He came out of that one feeling very good about himself. Then he followed that up with an extra game score over the top colt Imagination in Santa Anita’s biggest 3-year-old contest on April 6, coming out of that race with his chest pumped up and good vibes flowing strongly.

Now he has looked strong all week in Kentucky and appears to be peaking just right as Derby looms.

D’Amato was asked about the possibility of putting his charge on the racetrack Saturday morning ahead of the race.

“I go about 50-50 with that,” the conditioner offered. “Some horses I put on the track (on race mornings); some not. We’ll play it by ear tomorrow.”

T O PASSWORD (JPN) – Tomoya Ozasa’s T O Password (JPN) came on the track at 5:20, spent 10 minutes in the mile chute warming up under jockey Kazushi Kimura and then galloped on a sloppy track before returning to the chute for another 10 minutes to cool down before heading to the Quarantine Barn in a driving rain.

Watching the morning activity from the viewing stand at the six-furlong gap was trainer Daisuke Takayanagi. T O Password will represent the first Derby starter for Takayanagi.

“I want him to come back to the stable safe,” Takayanagi said. “Winning is most important. I am not concerned with his position. It is about how he feels and is comfortable (in the race).”

T O Password is not scheduled to go to the track in the morning.

TRACK PHANTOM – Trainer Steve Asmussen’s father, Keith, was on hand Friday morning to watch training including seeing Kentucky Derby contender Track Phantom who jogged with Roberto Howell in the irons.

Asked who Keith would be rooting for – his grandson’s mount Just Steel or his son’s trainee Track Phantom – he simply said, “a dead heat.”

WEST SARATOGA – Harry Veruchi’s West Saratoga jogged a mile and galloped a mile under Donte Lowery at 7 o’clock as morning showers began to lessen in intensity.

Trainer Larry Demeritte said West Saratoga would not go to the track Saturday morning.

“I don’t take my horses to the track on race day,” Demeritte said, “except one time I had this filly from England who didn’t run well unless I would take her out.”

Jesus Castanon has the mount on West Saratoga, who represents the first Derby starter for Demeritte and Veruchi.

“I would like to see him get to the first turn clear,” Demeritte said of West Saratoga, who will exit post 12. “Then on the backstretch lead the second flight and have the lead at the top of the stretch. The ideal trip.”

ALSO-ELIGIBLE – Average Joe Racing Stables and Dan Wells’ Mugatu (No. 21) walked the shedrow as trainer Jeff Engler waited to hear word if there would be any defections from the main body of the Derby field that would get Mugatu into the starting gate.

“Looks like we are going to New York,” said Engler, who plans to work Mugatu on Sunday and then ship to Aqueduct for next Saturday’s $200,000 Peter Pan (GIII).

THE KENTUCKY DERBY FIELD – Here is the field for the 150th running of the $5 million Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve (Grade I) in order of post positions (with rider and morning line odds): Dornoch (Luis Saez, 20-1), Sierra Leone (Tyler Gaffalione, 3-1), Mystik Dan (Brian Hernandez Jr., 20-1), Catching Freedom (Flavien Prat, 8-1), Catalytic (Jose Ortiz, 30-1), Just Steel (Keith Asmussen, 20-1), Honor Marie (Ben Curtis, 20-1), Just a Touch (Florent Geroux, 10-1), Encino (Axel Concepcion, 20-1) , T O Password (JPN) (Kazuski Kimura, 30-1), Forever Young (JPN) (Ryusei Sakai. 10-1), Track Phantom (Joel Rosario, 20-1), West Saratoga (Jesus Castanon, 30-1), Endlessly (Umberto Rispoli, 30-1), Domestic Product (Irad Ortiz Jr., 30-1), Grand Mo the First (Emisael Jaramillo, 50-1), Fierceness (John Velasquez, 5-2), Stronghold (Antonio Fresu, 20-1), Resilience (Junior Alvarado, 20-1), Society Man (Frankie Dettori, 50-1); Epic Ride (Adam Beschizza, 50-1). Also Eligible: Mugatu (Joe Talamo, 50-1) . All starters will carry 126 pounds.

Cheapest destinations to see Taylor Swift concerts from 'Eras Tour' abroad

Are you a Florida Swiftie with “Eras Tour” FOMO?

It’s definitely too late to find a ticket to Taylor Swift’s October concerts in Miami for less than $2,000.

But you can see an “Eras Tour” show in Warsaw, Poland, on Aug. 1, 2024, for about $500 cheaper than the cheapest concert ticket for a Miami show in October (including a roundtrip plane ticket to Poland, from Miami ).

Travel website Islands.com just released a study on the cheapest overseas destinations for seeing Miss Americana on the European leg of her tour.

To calculate the cheapest overseas shows on Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” this summer, Islands.com aggregated data on each city to find the average most affordable concert tickets, the average cost for two days of spending on hotel rooms, meals, drinks and transportation in each city and each city's safety score.

Here’s the Islands.com list of the cheapest shows on the next leg of Taylor Swift’s tour and how much the cheapest plane tickets from Florida to the cheapest European concert are.

Does “The Eras Tour” come to Europe?

Yes! After a wildly successful first run of “The Eras Tour” in the U.S. in 2023, Taylor Swift extended her tour to an international one and will start performing in Europe this summer before returning for more U.S. shows in the fall.

Here’s Islands.com’s list of the Top 10 cheapest places to see Taylor Swift in Europe this summer, including two days’ worth of hotel, food, drink and transportation costs for each city:

  • Warsaw, Poland: $443 cheapest concert ticket price, $712 total lowest average cost
  • Gelsenkirchen, Germany: $387 cheapest concert ticket price, $749 total lowest average cost
  • Hamburg, Germany: $411 cheapest concert ticket price, $903 total lowest average cost
  • Stockholm, Sweden: $406 cheapest concert ticket price, $935 total lowest average cost
  • Paris, France: $313 cheapest concert ticket price, $971 total lowest average cost
  • Munich, Germany: $472 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,000 total lowest average cost
  • Lisbon, Portugal: $507 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,028 total lowest average cost
  • Lyon, France: $582 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,047 total lowest average cost
  • Cardiff, UK: $679 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,061 total lowest average cost
  • Vienna , Austria: $496 cheapest concert ticket price, $1,089 total lowest average cost

Does Taylor Swift perform in Poland?

Yes! Taylor Swift will be performing for three nights in Warsaw, from Thursday, Aug. 1, through Saturday, Aug. 3.

The cheapest ticket to see Taylor Swift perform in Warsaw, Poland in August is about $1,500 cheaper than the cheapest ticket to catch one of her Miami shows in October.

As of April, via Google Flights, you can buy a roundtrip plane ticket from Miami to Warsaw (with two layovers) for around $800 .

Add that $800 plane ticket to the around $500 it will cost for a concert ticket and the extra $200 to $300 you’ll spend in two days of visiting Warsaw, and the grand total comes out to a maximum of around $1,600, which is still $400 cheaper than the cheapest ticket to a Miami show.

The odds of winning are pretty low. According to the  Mega Millions site , players have a 1 in 302,575,350 chance to match all five white balls plus the gold Mega Ball. Prizes range from $2 (for matching the Mega Ball) to the grand prize jackpot, which varies.

Does the Florida Lottery reveal lottery winners? Can you stay anonymous if you win lottery in Florida?

According to  Florida Lottery's website , winners cannot remain anonymous: "Florida law mandates that the Florida Lottery provide records containing information such as the winner's name, city of residence; game won, date won, and amount won to any third party who requests the information."

However, the site states, the "names of lottery winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or greater will be temporarily exempt from public disclosure for 90 days from the date the prize is claimed, unless otherwise waived by the winner."

Lottery experts and lawyers have said there are ways to remain anonymous if you win.
