Finding images of Tom Cruise’s adopted daughter is usually a mission impossible — until now.

Isabella “Bella” Kidman Cruise made a rare social media appearance on Sunday, Sept. 17, when she shared a selfie on her Instagram .

In the carefree picture captioned “What a summer,” the 30-year-old looks coyly at the camera. Donning a simple white top with a cute bow decorating her décolletage, the brunette shows off her appreciation of jewelry wearing a number of gold necklaces around her neck and a gold ring in her nose.

Bella, an artist, normally shares images of work with her nearly 52,000 followers.

According to her website , “Bella has been drawing ever since her wee hands could pick up a pen. Since that point in time she’s been evolving in her arts.”

Bella sells her work on reasonably priced totes, pins and limited edition prints. “Her go-to medium was pen and paper for most of her life,” the site explains. “However, she is now venturing into other formats and mediums. Including digital. Which has been a bit of a game changer in her opinion.”

Bella was adopted by Cruise, 60, and Nicole Kidman, 55, in 1992 after the couple married in 1990. The Hollywood pair also share a son Connor, 28.

Bella and Conor have chosen to stay mostly out of the limelight and in the past their superstar parents have chosen to keep their children’s lives out of the public eye as well.

“I’m very private about all that,” the Academy Award-winning actress told Australian outlet  Who  in 2018. “I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150 per cent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”

Kidman is set to be awarded the Life Achievement Award at the The American Film Institute (AFI) ceremony on June 10, but it is rumored that Connor and Bella may not be in attendance although they have both been invited.

“Nicole knows Connor is extremely loyal to his dad so she doesn’t expect him to come, but the invitation is there for both of them,” an alleged source tells  New Idea . ‘It’s an event they have every right to celebrate along with the rest of Nicole’s family.”

The source added: “Nicole is trying to limit her expectations, but is clinging to hope Bella might make it.”

Also set to be in attendance at the ceremony are Kidman’s two daughters Sunday, 14, and Faith, 12, whom she shares with her husband Keith Urban.

Tom Cruise was born in 1962 in Syracuse, New York, where he grew up in near poverty. His mother was a special education teacher and his father -- whom Tom's described as "a merchant of chaos," a "bully" and a "coward" -- was an engineer who often physically abused him. After Tom's mother left his dad, he attended Glen Ridge High School in New Jersey, where he discovered acting. Never too old for a ball game with dad! Tom Cruise’s son Connor joined the Mission Impossible star for a rare family outing together in California, where the pair watched the Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the San Francisco Giants.

At one point during the game, which took place on Saturday, October 9, Cruise was spotted on the Jumbotron—and he wasn’t alone! The 59-year-old  Top Gun  actor was seated next to his son, 26-year-old Connor Cruise . While the elder Cruise flashed a smile for the cameras, his son could be seen chatting with other fans sitting next to him, according to Us Weekly . The Edge of Tomorrow share shares his son Connor with his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman . The former couple, who got married in December 1990 and divorced in 2001, also adopted a daughter, Isabella. While the pair rarely speak about their 11-year marriage, Kidman recently opened up about the media attention she experienced during their relationship in an interview for  Harper’s Bazaar   for their October 2021 cover story.

“I was young. I think I offered it up?” Kidman   said when asked about the media frenzy she and Cruise faced. “Maybe I’ve gotten a bit more trepidatious, but I’m always trying to be as open as possible. I just prefer to live in the world that way.”

The  Big Little Lies   star went on to explain why she prefers to be honest in the public eye: “I’m wary at times, and I’ve been hurt, but at the same time I much prefer a warm approach rather than a prickly shutdown approach. My husband, Keith [Urban], says that when he met me, he said, ‘How’s your heart?’ And I apparently responded, ‘Open,'” she said, referring to her new spouse, whom she married in 2006.

Ever since she split from Cruise, Kidman has also kept her relationship with her children private. Some have speculated over the years that the Nine Perfect Strangers  star is estranged from her children with Cruise due to their involvement in the Church of Scientology with their father, however, Kidman has since denied these rumors.  “They have made choices to be Scientologists. It’s our job as a parent to always offer unconditional love,” she told  The Sun  in 2019. These days, it looks like both Cruise and Kidman are offering that love up to their kids.

Nicole Kidman is a proud mother of four, however the star rarely speaks publicly about her oldest kids, the two now-adult children she adopted with ex-husband Tom Cruise during their decade-long marriage .

But now she's breaking her silence. In a new interview, the 51-year-old not only opened up about Isabella Cruise, 25, and Connor Cruise, 23, she also revealed how she sees her own role in their lives today.

"I’m very private about all that," the cover star on the latest issue of Australia's Who magazine explained. "I have to protect all those relationships."

But don't mistake her hesitancy to discuss them for any distance on her part. She's still as committed to their needs as ever.

"I know 150 percent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is," she said plainly.

Isabella and Connor, like their father, belong to the Church of Scientology , and while Kidman has no such affiliation with the controversial organization , she has a live-and-let-live attitude about it all.

"They are able to make their own decisions," she told Who. "They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them. And I am an example of that tolerance, and that’s what I believe – that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here."

She stressed that it's wrong to ever "sever" that unwavering bond.

"So that's our job as a parent, to always offer unconditional love," she added.

Kidman has that for Isabella and Connor, and for the two younger children she raises with husband Keith Urban , Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith, 7. And, if she'd had the chance, she would have offered to other kids, too.

Last year, in an interview with BBC News , the "Big Little Lies" star confessed that she wished she had "probably two or three more" ."

Bella captioned her latest pic with, "Same face, new prints now available on the shop." She is an artist who often shares images of her paintings on Instagram, where she has more than 26,000 followers and follows more than 200 people, including both her parents.

Bella last shared a photo of herself on social media in September—a selfie showing her rocking blue streaks in her brown hair. She also shared another rare selfie a month earlier.

In addition to Bella, Tom and Kidman share son Connor Cruise , now 26. The former couple's 11-year marriage famously ended in 2001.

The 28-year-old son of  Tom Cruise  and  Nicole Kidman  took to his Instagram Stories over the weekend to share a rare photo of himself at the Belleair Country Club in Florida.

In the shot, Connor poses in a blue checkered polo shirt, shades, and a hat and flashes a peace sign while posing for the selfie alongside two friends.

The smiling shot was taken in Belleair, a city just a few miles away from Clearwater, Florida which, as of 2019, Connor calls home.

The re-post marks the first from Connor since an April 29 photo , which also saw the son of two of Hollywood's most famous actors, on the golf course. This time, Connor was seen at the Pelican Golf Club, also in Belleair. He rocked a similar fit, wearing in the pic, wearing a striped polo shirt, gray shorts, shades, and a hat, flashing a thumbs up while standing next to a friend on the green.

He captioned the post with some golfing emojis.

Connor has mostly stayed out of the spotlight in recent years despite his famous parents. He did, however, attend the Diesel Fashion Show for Milan Fashion Week in February.

Kidman, 55, and Cruise, 60, were married in 1990 before splitting in 2001.

While public appearances from the 28-year-old are few and far between , Connor has been photographed alongside his famous father on multiple occasions over the years, including an appearance at a 2021 October Los Angeles Dodgers game in San Francisco. The pair were photographed sitting side-by-side in the stands as Cruise took photos with fans.

Cruise and Connor were also photographed together in October 2019 in London before boarding a private helicopter.

In addition to Connor and Bella, Cruise shares 17-year-old daughter Suri with his ex-wife, Katie Holmes. Kidman, meanwhile, is also mom to daughters Sunday, 14, and Faith, 12, with husband, Keith Urban.

Suri Cruise: The Lavish Life Of Katie Holmes' And Tom Cruise's Daughter

Before she ever even dreamed a dream in her designer crib, blissfully unaware of the existence of paparazzi and tabloids, Suri Cruise was a star. No red carpet arrival could rival the attention that the coming of the TomKat child received in 2006, and rumors swirled about how "Dawson's Creek" alum Katie Holmes and "Top Gun" actor Tom Cruise were preparing to become parents of one of the world's most famous babies.

There were the whispers that Tom was pushing Holmes to embrace Scientologists' preferred childbirth method while she was pushing in the delivery room: a "silent birth." Cruise denied speculation that this meant Holmes would have to stifle her screams of pain, but told " Primetime " host Diane Sawyer that everyone else in the room would be expected to pipe down. "If she's going to make noise, she's going to make noise," he said. "But why have other people make noise?"

So it's safe to say that no trumpets were blasted to herald Suri's arrival on April 18, 2006, and Holmes would later tell Glamour that the little Aries wasn't all that extraordinary when compared to other kids — Suri liked listening to her dad read to her and watching "Cinderella." But most parents can't rent out the highly coveted Cinderella Castle Suite in Disney World through mysterious means, which is exactly what Tom did for Suri in 2012. And this wasn't the only time that the child of Hollywood royalty got the princess treatment.

Her Vanity Fair debut

The Instagram era hadn't arrived when Suri Cruise was born in 2006, and it was expected that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes would follow Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's lead by agreeing to have their child's first photos published in the pages of a major magazine. Days ticked by with no such splashy debut, but the nonexistent pics were still a story; TMZ spoke to industry insiders who estimated that the baby photos could fetch up to $5 million. A source even suggested that Suri's parents were holding out for the best possible payday.

When Suri made her magazine debut in Vanity Fair  about five months after her arrival, the cover girl's parents decided not to accept any payment at all. They also revealed that they were flummoxed by the photo frenzy, which had People polling its readers to see if they believed that Suri was even real. (A majority were convinced that her existence was a fairytale.)

Holmes explained the delay, telling Vanity Fair, "We were always going to release a photo. We just didn't want to get into the whole production of setting up a photo shoot at that time. I really just wanted to enjoy this precious time with my daughter. I knew I'd never get that time back." Among those who were aware that Suri did, indeed, exist before then were her celebrity visitors, who included "Men in Black" star Will Smith, his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tom's "Vanilla Sky" co-star Penelope Cruz. Suri also met famed photog Annie Leibovitz, who snapped the tot's Vanity Fair photos at Tom's sprawling estate in Telluride, Colorado.

A sitcom star comforted Suri Cruise during her parents' wedding dinner

Suri Cruise was present at her parents' 2006 fairytale wedding in Italy, but aged just seven months, she was far too young to remember the star-studded event. Per People , the guest list included a number of high-profile Hollywood couples: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. "King of Queens" star Leah Remini also attended the ceremony, which was held at the Orsini-Odescalchi castle.

In her book " Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology ," Remini, a former Scientologist, claims that poor Suri couldn't stop crying during a pre-wedding dinner and had been placed in the care of a group of female Scientologists, including Tom Cruise's sister. They were gathered inside a bathroom, but Remini could hear Suri's wails from the dining area. She eventually decided to scope out the situation herself.

Inside the bathroom, Remini saw that the women had placed Suri on the floor. "[They] were looking at her like they thought she was L. Ron Hubbard incarnate," Remini recalled. "Rather than talking to her in a soothing voice, they kept saying, 'Suri! Suri!' in a tone that sounded like they were telling an adult to get her s*** together." Remini realized that Suri was likely hungry and ended up tracking down her bottle and taking it to the kitchen to have it heated up. When she returned and directed Suri's caretakers to feed her, the distressed infant quieted down.

Tottering around in heels as a toddler

In 2009, outlets including Just Jared published photos of Suri Cruise taking a stroll with her mom while rocking a pair of tiny silver kitten heels. Some critics felt that the then-three-year-old was too young to be wearing such mature footwear, including famed shoe designer Manolo Blahnik, who expressed surprise over Suri channeling her inner Carrie Bradshaw at such a young age. "That girl is destined to be a victim of a high heel!" he predicted while speaking to New York magazine (via Radar ).

The outcry over Suri's footwear put her parents' feet to the fire, and both of them explained why they supported her right to add an inch or two to her diminutive height. Holmes told Access that her daughter was just trying to be like her stylish mom (awww!) and even revealed where she got Suri's heels. "They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids," she said. "I found them for her and she loves them." Tom Cruise also mentioned dancing in his defense of his parenting skills. "In Spain, they wear the high-heeled flamenco dance shoes from birth," he said on GMTV (via Now to Love ).

If Star magazine (via the Daily Mail ) is to be believed, Suri was a full-blown shoeaholic by age five, adding so many pairs of designer heels to her collection that it had a value of around $150,000. "She's a massive fan of Marc Jacobs and she's had several shoes custom-made," an insider dished.

Suri Cruise's closet quickly got filled with designer clothing and accessories

Suri Cruise's street style made her a fashion icon as soon as she started getting papped. The Suri Cruise Fashion Blog broke down the estimated cost of an outfit Suri wore to school in 2013, and she was giving the "Gossip Girl" elite a run for their old money. Her Lanvin mink vest was valued at $850, while her velvet frock from the same designer retailed for $750. She traded her heels for a more practical pair of $130 Crewcuts flats. (Blair Waldorf who?!) In 2018, Page Six published a photo of Suri rocking another expensive piece, a bright pink $900 trench coat from Burberry. Oh, and let's not forget the $850 Ferragamo handbag she was spotted toting around at age three, per Us Weekly .

In a 2010, Tom Cruise confirmed that he didn't take cost into account when it came to his daughter's wardrobe. "Whatever she wants to wear, she wears it. I'm not going to tell her different," he told Oprah . "She's got great taste too. She tells me what to wear." As for Katie Holmes, she seemed hopeful that her daughter would gradually develop a similar sense of style to her own, allowing Suri to fully appreciate her fashion inheritance. "Oftentimes, I will buy something with her in mind, thinking, 'Maybe I'll wear this once or twice,'" Holmes told Extra , "'but it's gonna look so great on her when she's 25.'"

Suri Cruise made a lot of fun memories on her parents' sets

Suri Cruise spent a lot of time on her parents' sets when she was a young child. Tom Cruise told Extra that she became interested in the dynamics of his vocal performance in the 2012 movie "Rock of Ages" after attending a few rehearsals. "I'd get all the questions about, 'How's it going? How are you moving the air through the diaphragm and the vocal chords?' So she's fascinated by it," the actor said. 

Two years earlier, Suri had joined her mom on the set of "The Romantics." The film's cast, which included Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Josh Duhamel, and Adam Brody, treated her like she was the biggest star present. "We all shared her," Akerman told People of their adorable new bestie. "We drew, we played hide and seek, we played dogs and cats, ate cupcakes together."

That same year, Suri worked her magic again on the set of Holmes' miniseries "The Kennedys." There, she made some new friends closer to her age, including the child actors who were there to work. In 2012, Katie Holmes decided to pull the plug on her marriage to Tom Cruise. After their divorce settlement was quickly hammered out, TMZ reported that Cruise's annual child support payments would be around $400,000, and he'd also be obligated to pay for his daughter's schooling and medical expenses. Additionally, Cruise had to sign off on certain restrictions on Suri Cruise's education options — which would reportedly prohibit Tom from enrolling her in a Scientology boarding school.

When Tom took Bauer Publishing Company to court over claims its tabloids made about the actor purportedly abandoning Suri, he acknowledged in a deposition that his religion played a role in Holmes' decision to divorce him . Specifically, Holmes didn't want their daughter to become involved with the Church of Scientology, per ABC News . Tom continued to spend time with Suri after the divorce, with a source telling E! News  in 2013, "Tom sent his private jet to NYC to pick up Suri so she could come to London and spend some time with him." That was reportedly the last year the father and daughter were photographed together. 

While Tom had visitation rights and could continue seeing Suri if he wished to, an insider told  Us Weekly , "He chooses not to because she is not a Scientologist." However, Leah Remini shared a theory with the New York Post , saying, "I'm sure [Tom's] master plan is to wait until Suri gets older so that he can lure her into Scientology and away from her mother."

Inside Suri Cruise's pricey private school

After Katie Holmes divorced Tom Cruise , she and Suri Cruise started building new lives for themselves in NYC's swanky Chelsea neighborhood. Their rent was $12,500 a month, and, according to the New York Post , one of their apartment building's big selling points was easy access to the mixed-use property's ground-level Whole Foods. In a New York minute, Holmes and Suri became proud New Yorkers. "New York has been very good to both of us," Holmes told People . "I love the theater, the galleries in my neighborhood. Stuff [like] that is so much of what makes me love this city."

The city also provided Holmes with plenty of education options for young Suri, and she chose Avenues , a private school that caters to the elite. It was new at the time, and tuition was $40,000 a year. What made the school an ideal pick for the pair was that it was designed with parents who travel in mind, allowing students to switch campuses when needed. Students Suri's age were given the option of learning either Spanish or Mandarin. 

While Suri had to wear a school uniform, Us Weekly shared a photo that showed the stylish kindergartner taking a sartorial cue from "Gossip Girl" fashionista Blair Waldorf: She added some visual interest to her outfit by rocking a bright orange headband. Suri also used her outerwear to express her personal style, wearing a vivid pink jacket over her dark skirt and white collared shirt.

The body double conspiracy

The cost of caring for a kid as famous as Suri Cruise is astronomical. In 2012, a divorce attorney told E! News  that the total monthly support expenses for her caretakers, travel, schooling, and security could be as much as $100,000. But an insider told OK! (via Contact Music ) that Tom Cruise was willing to pay half that weekly for Suri's security alone after he and Katie Holmes divorced. "Katie believes money is no object when it comes to the safety of Suri and insisted Tom handle that side of things. She'd go broke if she had to pay for it and it's a total necessity with the enormous interest in Suri," the source dished.

There were even reports that Suri's parents had hired a look-alike daughter decoy in early 2013. According to the Daily News , paparazzi trailed an SUV that Suri was thought to be inside of one afternoon after waiting outside her school. When the vehicle stopped, a little girl with brunette hair was photographed getting out and hiding her face. Not long afterward, Suri and her nanny, who were in a different vehicle, rushed inside a nearby sandwich restaurant. However, Suri was also photographed, and she and her doppelganger were wearing matching dark leggings, pink-soled boots, and eggplant-colored puffer jackets.

Around that time, Tom was reportedly paranoid about Suri potentially getting kidnapped. However, according to Yahoo! Entertainment , a source said that the supposed body double was just a friend of Suri's.

She got charitable and political at a young age

While Suri Cruise grew up wanting for nothing, she's not oblivious to the fact that there are less fortunate people in the world. In a 2015 appearance on "Today," Katie Holmes praised her daughter for having a giving spirit. "My little one is very, very generous and very sensitive. So she's always [saying], 'Mom, let's give my old toys to people who need it,'" she said (via Us Weekly ).

In 2014, Cruise adopted a rescue dog in need of a loving home, per TMZ , and that same year, she offered a $1,000 reward when she lost her pet. Thankfully, Honey the chihuahua was found and returned home safely.

Holmes has shared an Instagram photo of Cruise putting a smile on the face of a child at a Moria refugee camp — and flashing a pretty big grin herself — by playing a clapping game with her new friend. The activist-entrepreneur attended NYC Pride in 2018, where she sold lemonade to thirsty revelers, per Us Weekly . "She was very sweet and kind, telling everyone to enjoy their day," said one parade attendee. Cruise also got interested in politics at a young age, with Holmes telling Jenna Bush Hager (via  Vanity Fair ) that the then-10-year-old was disappointed when Hillary Clinton lost her 2016 presidential bid. "We have to raise our girls to be very strong, not just for themselves, but to open the doors for other people," Holmes said of what she learned from the loss.

Suri Cruise's birthday celebrations are always special

Proving that her daughter always gets the princess treatment on her birthday, Katie Holmes shared an Instagram photo of Suri Cruise wearing a tiara when she turned 12 years old in 2018. However, the birthday girl didn't exactly look thrilled about having her picture taken. Two years earlier, Suri celebrated her 10th birthday in NYC with some friends. According to E! News , they were spotted polishing off burgers and cookies at Tavern on the Green, where they dined al fresco. Suri's days-long festivities also included a fun-filled night at Dave & Buster's with a large group of kids and trays loaded with treats from Georgetown Cupcake. According to Radar , an insider claimed that one of her gifts that year was a baby grand piano.

However, one of Suri's most extravagant birthday celebrations took place when she turned 13 in 2019. The French publication Closer (via People ) reported that Holmes whisked her daughter and two of her pals away to Paris, where they dined at the upscale eatery Les Ombres. While enjoying a view of the Eiffel Tower, the sophisticated group reportedly sipped on alcohol-free mojitos and noshed on caviar before generously tipping their server $100.

A year later, Suri's birthday would look much different. During the pandemic, Holmes shared a snapshot of her daughter rocking a floral crown at home and captioned it, "Birthday vibes." Speaking to ET about their low-key celebration, Holmes said, "I think when you have less, you're more creative."

Suri Cruise's happy holidays

Simply stepping inside Suri Cruise's closet would feel like Christmas morning for many girls. But throwing on a coat that would cost some parents an entire week's salary is nothing for Suri, whose dad reportedly paid $5,000 to reserve a special section of Rockefeller Center's ice skating rink in December 2011. A source told the Daily News that Tom Cruise also had hot cocoa and gourmet treats delivered to his daughter during their family outing.

In 2014, Katie Holmes confirmed that Suri makes a Christmas list and checks it twice. "She's just very specific," Holmes said on " The Ellen DeGeneres Show ." "'I want a puppy,' then, 'I want a pink collar that has sparkles on it that says the puppy's name,' then, 'I want shoes for the dog.'" Holmes also said that she tries to make sure that Santa gets everything on Suri's list.

While a magic sleigh is one item that Suri can't get her hands on, she does spend plenty of time in the sky during the holiday season. In 2016, she and her mom spent Thanksgiving in Holmes' hometown, Toledo, Ohio. On Instagram , Holmes revealed that they visited a local Dave & Buster's and played video games. Two years later, she and Suri brought in the New Year during a  ski trip . Holmes also makes sure that Suri remembers others during the holidays. "She and Suri spent Christmas afternoon visiting children at a local hospital in L.A.," Holmes' rep told People in 2014.

Suri Cruise made some friends in showbiz

Speaking to InStyle in 2020, Katie Holmes painted a pretty lonely picture of Suri Cruise's life as a baby. "I just wanted her outside, so I would walk her around to find parks at, like, six in the morning when nobody would see us," she said. But Suri did make some famous friends fairly early in life. In 2009, the almost-three-year-old was photographed out on a playdate with two of David and Victoria Beckham's sons, Cruz and Romeo, at the Children's Art Studio in Los Angeles, per X17 . That same year, Cruise and future "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin" star Bailee Madison hung out together when Holmes and Madison filmed "Don't Be Afraid of The Dark" in Australia, per Hello!.

When she hit her tween years, Cruise befriended more kids involved in the entertainment industry. Speaking to Elle UK about her very "Gilmore Girls" relationship with Suri Cruise , Katie Holmes said of her daughter, "Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match. We kind of grew up together." Evidence of their complementary ages? A shared appreciation for Taylor Swift. An insider told OK! that Holmes befriended Swift when they worked together on the movie "The Giver" in 2014, and Holmes set up a surprise meeting between her daughter and the singer. "They spent an hour chatting that day, and Taylor still makes a point to spend time with Suri in New York City — whether it's going to Katie's for baking sessions or teaching her how to play the guitar," the source claimed.

Cruise didn't show off the results of those priceless guitar lessons from Swift at Z100 New York's 2017 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball, but she and her mom did introduce the singer. Their rare public appearance took place at Madison Square Garden, where Billboard quoted Holmes as saying, "She's one of our favorite performers — and who is it tonight?" Cruise was given the honor of excitedly announcing Swift's name, and she was dressed to impress the music star in a dark blue, star-spangled dress. Suri Cruise's laidback lockdown with her mom

Suri Cruise and her mom got to spend even more quality time together than usual at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it sounds like Katie Holmes went out of her way to make sure that her daughter didn't feel too isolated or scared. However, Holmes said that she and Cruise did isolate themselves from the rest of civilization by spending part of their lockdown somewhere near a lake. The idyllic location made Holmes want to watch one of the most iconic dancing scenes that actually takes place in a lake over and over again. "We probably watched 'Dirty Dancing' 10 times,'" she told Amazing magazine (via the Daily Mail ). 

Holmes and Cruise also had the time of their lives getting in touch with their crafty sides. "I painted, we had a sewing machine so we were making quilts, we were cooking; we were on a perpetual vacation," she said. In an interview with The Daily Telegraph , Holmes explained why it was important to her to remain positive and upbeat. "I feel strongly that the power of your own attitude definitely influences those around you, including your children," she said. Luckily, she didn't have to feign her contentment, since she actually enjoys her daughter's company. "I will say that this time of quarantine has been such a lesson, just really looking at everything you have and celebrating the simplicity of making dinner," she added, noting that she prefers not to discuss Suri with the press.

Suri's special contribution to one of her mom's movies

In 2012, Tom Cruise told Extra that Suri Cruise was following in her daredevil dad's footsteps by getting into gymnastics and swimming, skills that could greatly benefit any future actor who someday plans on doing their own stunts. But Suri didn't make her movie debut playing a spy kid in one of Tom's "Mission: Impossible" movies. Instead, at age 16, she showcased her vocal talent in her mom's 2022 movie "Alone Together," a rom-com set during the start of the pandemic. Suri can be heard sweetly singing the classic song "Blue Moon" at the beginning of the film. While Suri's mom directed, wrote, produced, and starred in the movie, Holmes insisted that it was her daughter's ability, not her blood bond, that got her the gig. "I always want the highest level of talent," she told Yahoo! Entertainment . "So I asked her! She's very talented."

Whether Suri sets her heart on a singing career or chooses a different path, her mom will always be her loudest, proudest cheerleader, and she already knows that Suri has what it takes to accomplish almost anything she sets her mind to. "My biggest goal has always been to nurture her into her individuality," Holmes told InStyle. "... She'll pick an activity and work her butt off until she's really good at it. Then she's like, 'Okay, I'm going to try the next thing.' She's very focused and a hard worker."

The never-before-seen black-and-white picture was taken when Suri was just a baby and showed Katie tenderly kissing her cheek as Suri looked straight down the camera.

Tom Cruise is a bonafide Hollywood star, but he's also a father of three children.

Despite being a major movie star Tom has managed to keep his private life quiet over the years.

The Top Gun actor's marriage to Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes made him a dad to Bella Cruise , Connor Cruise and Suri Cruise.

Here's everything we know about the Hollywood A-lister's children.

How many kids does Tom Cruise have?

Tom has three kids!

He shares two adopted children with Kidman, daughter Bella, now 28, and son Connor, now 26. The pair divorced in 2001.

The actor was then married to Holmes between 2006 and 2012. The pair welcomed their biological daughter Suri Cruise, who is now 15.

Does Tom Cruise see his children?

It's hard to know exactly how often Tom sees his children, but he appears to have maintained a closer relationship with Bella and Connor.

They are both dedicated Scientologists like their father.

In 2016, Bella told The Daily Mail that she is still in regular communication with her parents.

"Of course we talk, they're my parents", adding, anyone who claims they don't is "full of s--t".

Connor was most recently seen with Tom during an outing in London in 2019.

"Tom and Connor stepping out together in London was a big deal," a source told People at the time. "It was the same weekend that Scientology does their annual gathering called the International Association of Scientologists (ASI). Tom has attended numerous times in the past, but this appears to be the first time Connor has gone."

It's believed Tom is mostly estranged from his daughter Suri. However, this claim has never been confirmed.

He was last seen holding her in 2012 when he was boarding a helicopter.

Why did Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman adopt?

When Kidman married the Hollywood star, she was excited about the prospect of being a mother.

Sadly, she endured an ectopic pregnancy and lost her first child during her marriage to Tom. The experience influenced her decision to ultimately adopt.

"From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies," Kidman previously told Marie Claire in 2007. "And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic."

The pair tried to have a baby again, but Kidman suffered a miscarriage in 2001. Tom filed for divorce that same year.

Does Nicole Kidman talk to Connor and Bella?

It's been widely speculation that Kidman doesn't see her adopted kids that often. Their devotion to the Church of Scientology is believed to be the reason she keeps a distance.

The Big Little Lies actress has spoken about her relationship with them on a handful of occasions.

In 2018, she opened up about her adopted kids' choice to be Scientologists.

"They are adults," Kidman said in an interview with WHO magazine. "They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, and it's my job to love them. And I am an example of that tolerance and that's what I believe — that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I'm open here."

Meanwhile, Connor told Woman's Day in 2014, "I love my mum. I don't care what people say. I know that me and mum are solid. I love her a lot".

Kidman went on to marry country singer Keith Urban in 2006. The couple are the parents to two daughters: Sunday, 12, and Faith, 10.

What does Bella Cruise do?

She owns a company called 'Bella Kidman Cruise' where she sells t-shirts and tote bags.

Is Bella Cruise still married?

She sure is!

Bella has been married to Max Parker since 2015. Parker is an IT consultant and the pair got married after less than a year of dating.

Where is Connor Cruise now?

Connor is now a DJ and musician living in Florida.

In 2013, he released a song titled 'Closer to Heaven' and starred in 2008's Seven Pounds and 2012's Red Dawn . In March this year, he also announced he'd be starting a food Instagram account.

"Connor lives in Clearwater, which is the church's main hub. He still deejays but he has really become a big fishing guy. He's content with living a quieter life," a source told People in April this year.

On June 9, he debuted a new look for his followers on social media.

"New face, who dis?" Connor captioned a selfie of him without his shaggy hair and thick beard.

Are Bella and Connor Cruise Scientologists?

They sure are!

In September 2019, Kidman opened up to The Sun about the highs and lows of being a parent.

"Motherhood is about the journey," she said. "There are going to be incredible peaks and valleys, whether you are an adopting mother or a birth mother. What a child needs is love. They have made choices to be Scientologists. It's our job as a parent to always offer unconditional love."

The Top Gun star, who has been married three times , shares two adopted kids — Connor Cruise  and Isabella ‘Bella’ Cruise  — with his ex-wife, Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman . He also has one biological child, a daughter named Suri  with his other ex-wife, Katie Holmes .

Tom lives an extremely private life, despite being a major movie star. While he may hit the occasional red carpet if he has a movie premiering, the actor is rarely photographed anywhere else, or with his kids. Though, he does have a relationship with all three. Isabella Cruise

Tom and Nicole adopted Connor and Isabella during their decade-long marriage in the ’90s. Isabella, who was born on December 22, 1992, took a page out of her father’s book by adopting a lifestyle away from the spotlight, however, she recently resurfaced on her Instagram  with a selfie on August 25, and fans went wild. The new photo came four months after she last shared a photo of her face online, so her followers were elated to see her sharing a new picture of herself.

The London-based artist owns a company with the title of her namesake, “Bella Kidman Cruise,” which sells phone cases, tote bags, and more. As far as her personal life is concerned, Bella married Max Parker , an IT consultant, in an intimate ceremony in London in September of 2015. Neither Bella’s nor Max’s parents attended, which led to speculation that she was estranged from her parents. Though, that was later proven not to be the case .

“Of course [we talk], they’re my parents. Anyone who says otherwise is full of sh-t,” Isabella told Daily Mail in March of 2016. When asked if it was hard not to have Tom walk Isabella down the aisle to give her away, Max admitted, “Yeah. It is what it is.” Isabella also has a good relationship with her mother, whose last name is included in her company’s name. And, she’s close with her brother, Connor, which is evidenced by various social media posts.

Isabella caused a slight stir in July 2021 when she and brother Connor both posted a selfie – a rare thing from these private kids – on the same day. Bella’s selfie was taken during the Euro Championship when England took on Denmark. “My face during extra time. Fingers crossed,” she captioned the shot. It clearly worked, as England prevailed. Earlier in the year, Bella posted another selfie – a black and white photo advertising prints in her shop. When Isabella shared a snap in September 2021 , fans thought she looked amazing.

Connor Cruise

Just like his sister, Connor, who was born on January 17, 1995, also enjoys living a private life. Though, he was very much in the spotlight in the past. Connor briefly followed in his parents’ footsteps and starred in two films — 2008’s Seven Pounds and 2012’s Red Dawn remake. The well-accomplished DJ eventually pursued his passion for deep-sea fishing, though, and now spends a lot of time in Clearwater, Florida, as seen on his Instagram page. Connor is very close with his sister, which was further proven by a cute throwback photo he shared to his Instagram in August 2019.

Connor appears to be quite close with his dad, too, as the two were most recently spotted together in October 2019. The father and son bonded over the actor’s love for helicopters, according to People — which reported that Tom took Connor on a chopper in London to show him “some aviation basics.” In 2012, Connor tweeted a black and white baby photo of himself, along with Isabella, in the arms of Tom.

Connor had a busy 2021. While on a fishing trip in Costa Rica in February, Connor showed off a catch that was almost bigger than him. “ Yellowfin were chewing today ,” he captioned the shot. He became an “ influencer ” in March of that year, launching the @connorsmeatshack IG account with his friend, Kim Joyce . The BBQ-themed account featured Connor’s love of grilling, and the man knows his way around a “rolled cap of ribeye and some lobstah tails,” as he put it . When the summer months rolled around, Connor decided to shave off his hair. “ New face, who dis? ” he captioned a June 8 IG story.

While on an August 2022 fishing trip with friends, Connor showed off his catch – a massive fish he hauled in from the ocean. In his most recent post, Connor revealed that he and his fishing buddies donated a large portion of their catch — “108 pounds of grouper” to be exact — to a charity. “I know it was tough to fit that in the truck but glad the fish was able to go and help those in need of it!!,” he wrote. Overall, Connor is enjoying a life of fishing, grilling, and living in the great outdoors.

Suri Cruise

Following his 2001 divorce from Nicole, Tom went on to marry Katie Holmes in 2006. They welcomed their only biological child, a daughter named Suri, that same year on April 18. Suri made her magazine debut on the October 2006 cover of Vanity Fair with her then-married parents. The accompanying photoshoot showed the family smiling while cuddled up together. Unfortunately, the trio didn’t have a happily ever after. Tom and Katie eventually divorced in 2012, and the actor has rarely been seen out with his daughter since the split. Believe it or not, one of their last photographs together was at Disneyland on January 25, 2012.

Tom’s relationship with Suri is a tumultuous one , multiple sources have expressed to  HollywoodLife . “As challenging as things have become for him and his daughter, he still loves her,” an insider told us in April 2019. “Tom never intended to be estranged from his daughter when he decided to have a family with Katie, and he looks forward to repairing their relationship one day,” the source said. Tom and Katie have never spoken publicly about his estranged relationship with Suri. And it’s unclear when the actor and his now teenage daughter last saw one another. Suri resides with her mother in New York City, where she attends school.

While Tom and Suri’s relationship has remained strained, she has continued to have a positive connection with her mother. Suri and Katie are often seen together on the streets of New York City. In 2021, a 15-year-old Suri started venturing out into the Big Apple on her own . Even with the newfound teenage freedom, it doesn’t appear Suri has an Instagram account at this time.

The 28-year-old son of Hollywood superstars threw up a peace sign alongside his golf pals in newly shared photo

Connor Cruise is all smiles on the golf course!

The 28-year-old son of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise shared a rare glimpse into his life on Saturday when he reposted a selfie with his golf buddies on his Instagram Story.

In the Story, Connor put on a smile and threw up a peace sign alongside two friends on the golf course. The eldest son of the 60-year-old actor rocked his usual golfing attire — a blue polo, a hat and sporty sunnies — as well as a smartwatch in the new photo.

The picture was taken at Belleair Country Club in Belleair, Fla, a city only a few miles away from Clearwater, which, as of 2019, Connor calls home.

The reshare was a rare post by the son of Hollywood royalty, whose last Instagram post, shared over a month ago , was also golf-related. In April, Connor posted a photo of himself alongside a fellow golfer at Pelican Golf Club, also located in Bellair, which he simply captioned “🏌️‍♂️⛳️.”

Though he attended Diesels’ show during Milan Fashion Week earlier this year, where he wore an acid-wash denim fishing vest — fitting for the avid angler — Connor isn't frequently photographed in public.

When he is spotted out and about, it’s often with his dad. The father-son duo’s outings have been captured a couple of times in recent years, including an appearance at a 2021 October Los Angeles Dodgers game in San Francisco. The pair were photographed sitting side-by-side in the stands as Tom took photos with fans.

Tom and Connor were also photographed together in October 2019 in London as they walked to a private helicopter together.

Cruise is a leading figure in Scientology, and in “typical” situations, members of the Church are not allowed to speak to family members who left the Church. But given Cruise’s profile, it’s unlikely that rule will be enforced.

So will Suri be getting a birthday call? It’s hard to say. There’s plenty of precedent to think she’ll be getting an extravagant gift. He’s certainly been generous with costars on their big days. Dakota Fanning recently told Harper’s Bazaar that Cruise has been getting her birthday gifts every year since they costarred in War of the Worlds in 2005, when she was just 11 years old. Plus, he got her her first cell phone.

Plus, in court documents obtained by the New York Post , former Scientologist Leah Remini claimed she was made to “raise money for Scientology causes led by Cruise” and “ forced to donate money to name a seat in a Scientology auditorium after Suri.”

… Just what every teen wants!

Or , will Suri be the one to make a move? Maybe instead of getting a birthday tribute from her dad, she’ll be posting an Instagram tell-all. Holmes likely had to sign nondisclosure agreements at the time of the divorce that keeps her from talking about her former marriage and time inside the Church of Scientology, but Suri would have been too young to have a signature — much less sign a contract.

“She will now be free to talk if she wants to and it’s going to be really interesting if she has something to say,” Ortega said.

Regardless of how any family drama plays out, we’re wishing Suri a very happy 18th birthday!

Inside Tom Cruise's Relationship With His Daughter Suri Now

If you're a fan of going to the movies, odds are you've seen at least one Tom Cruise project. The "Mission: Impossible" star is absurdly famous around the world. As a result, many parts of his life have played out in very public ways on very public stages. 

Cruise is also a dad to three children. He shares his oldest, Isabella and Connor, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman , and his youngest, Suri , with ex-wife Katie Holmes. While it's clear that Cruise has a great relationship with Isabella and Connor, and both children are active members of his Scientology faith (per The U.S. Sun ), it's less clear what kind of relationship — if any — that he has with Suri. In fact, when Holmes and Cruise divorced, he affirmed that Holmes' desire to keep Suri out of the Scientology faith was a factor in their split (per HuffPost ).

The last public photos of Cruise and Suri date all the way back to 2012, when the two were snapped visiting Disneyland (per Yahoo! ). Here's a look into Tom Cruise's relationship with Suri and where it stands today.

Tom Cruise was so excited about Katie's pregnancy that he bought a sonogram machine

Like a lot of expectant parents, Tom Cruise was ecstatic about the impending arrival of his third child, Suri Cruise. In fact, he was so excited about Suri that he reportedly bought his own ultrasound machine so that he could see her every day. Cruise told Barbara Walters about the purchase, which can cost up to $200,000 (per  BBC News ). He seemed to understand that the purchase was on the lavish end, as he reassured people that the machine would be donated to a hospital after Katie Holmes gave birth.

However, not everyone thought the act was a great idea. In fact, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine issued a statement condemning the act, noting that the buy bordered on abusing the equipment. President Lennard Greenbaum, MD, said, in part, that "Tom Cruise's recent purchase of an ultrasound machine for personal use at home is both inappropriate and in violation of FDA rules addressing the sale of medical equipment."

Tom Cruise described his daughter Suri's birth as 'spiritual'

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes welcomed Suri Cruise on April 18, 2006 . From all accounts, and especially from Cruise's, Suri's arrival into the world was fairly extraordinary. In fact, only a few days after her birth, Cruise described the experience to "20/20" and still seemed in awe of everything he witnessed (via ABC News ). He said, "It was everything that we wanted it to be. ... It was spiritual. It was powerful. It was indescribable."

Plenty of outlets shared news of Suri's birth, as public interest in the newborn was quite high. CBS News  noted that Suri weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and clocked in at 20 inches long. A representative for Cruise and Holmes also shared information about her name, noting that Suri has Hebrew origins and can mean "princess," as well as Persian roots, which could give her name the meaning "red rose." 

Notably, Cruise and Holmes were also able to leave their home to head to the hospital in private, which was quite a feat considering the vast amount of attention they were receiving at the time.

Tom Cruise and Suri Cruise appeared to have a good relationship until 2012

In 2004, a then-engaged Katie Holmes admitted to Seventeen that she had once fantasized about marrying Tom Cruise (per HuffPost ). Fast-forward a few years, and Holmes found herself walking away from the very marriage she once said she wanted.

From all appearances, Tom Cruise and daughter Suri had a solid parent-child relationship up until 2012. That was the year that Katie Holmes filed for divorce in a move that apparently surprised Cruise. While speaking to German TV network ProSieben (via CBS News ), he admitted that he didn't see the divorce coming at all, saying, "I didn't expect it." He added, "Life is a tragicomedy. You need to have a sense of humor."

It seems that after he recovered from the shock of his wife of six years wanting a divorce, he bounced back pretty quickly. InStyle noted that the two were able to work through their divorce pretty quickly, with a settlement being reached after only 11 days. 

He admitted that Katie Holmes left him to 'protect' Suri from Scientology

While Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have been pretty quiet when it comes for the exact hows and whys of their divorce, when pushed, Cruise definitely let something slip: One of big reasons Holmes said she wanted a divorce was reportedly to "protect" their daughter, Suri, from Cruise's religion, Scientology . The admission came out during his deposition during a libel lawsuit he filed against a tabloid. When asked if Holmes felt she had to protect Suri by leaving the relationship, as reported by  HuffPost , he first replied that the question was "offensive" and that "there is no need to protect my daughter from my religion," before saying, "Did she say that? That was one of the assertions, yes."

On top of that, Cruise also admitted that Suri was no longer a practicing member of the religion (per TMZ ). While HuffPost asserts this means Suri has now been deemed a "suppressive person" in the eyes of the Church of Scientology, there have been no public statements made to that effect. Notably, "suppressive" people are often, if not always, "cut off" from those that are still active members of Scientology.

Tom Cruise was not awarded custody of Suri

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes hammered out the details of their divorce settlement in 11 days (per InStyle ), which is pretty remarkable. Surprisingly to many, Cruise was not awarded custody of the pair's daughter, Suri Cruise, at all, and instead walked away from the discussions with visitation rights only. In fact, Tom Cruise was told he can visit with Suri up to 10 days a month, according to Us Weekly .

Cruise also committed to a fairly hefty sum for child support, and TMZ reported that he pays over $33,000 a month for Suri's care. While that's noting to sniff at, it's a far cry from the sum a judge could have probably ordered him to pay if the divorce had gone to court, especially as his overall net worth is believed to be approximately $600 million (per Celebrity Net Worth ). Cruise is also in charge of covering any necessary expenses Suri might rack up, including medical and dental insurance, schooling, and college, and he also funds extracurricular activities (per TMZ).

It sounds like Tom Cruise doesn't always see Suri in person

Even though the custody agreement struck between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes makes it clear that he can see their daughter, Suri Cruise, for 10 days a month, it seems like he hasn't been able to make that happen. On top of that, a source apparently close to the situation told Us Weekly that this seems to be a deliberate choice that Cruise is making. The source told the publication, "Every person is allowed to see their child if they wanted to. He chooses not to because she is not a Scientologist."

Outspoken critic of Scientology Tony Ortega spoke to Us Weekly about what might be going on behind closed doors, explaining that it's possible Holmes signed a document agreeing not to speak badly of the religion in order to get full custody. Ortega added that Holmes only had one objective: to take care of Suri. He said, "She wanted to get away and she wanted to get Suri."

In 2013, Tom Cruise admitted he hadn't seen Suri Cruise for 100 days

Things only got messier for Tom Cruise in the year after his divorce was finalized. In 2013, he admitted that he hadn't seen his youngest child for at least 100 days, explaining that his prolonged absence was due to his filming schedule. 

According to  People , Cruise said in a deposition hearing for her lawsuit again Bauer Publishing that it was "impossible" for him to see Suri during that time, and on top of that, he claimed that the then 7-year-old seemed just fine without him. After sharing that he's "very good" at talking to his daughter on the phone, Cruise added, "I also find that, you know, Suri is a very happy child, and confident, and has a good sense of herself."

He further explained that, though he missed Suri's first day of school, that was because his daughter didn't ask him to be there herself.

How long has it been since he's seen his daughter in person?

While Tom Cruise might have been able to explain why he didn't see Suri Cruise for 100 days, he then reportedly missed out on seeing his daughter in person for over 1,000 days. In 2016, In Touch Weekly reported that Cruise had not seen or exchanged words with Suri in over two and a half years. A source allegedly close to the situation told the publication that the pair had been using video chat and text messaging to stay in touch but that it had slowed down, before adding that Suri no longer really bought her father's explanations for why he was missing. The source said, "He uses his film commitments as an excuse, but the truth is that doesn't hold much weight with Suri anymore."

As in the past, some believe that Cruise's religion is the reason why he keeps missing out on his daughter's life. The same source told In Touch as much, noting, "He's disconnected from Katie, and then de facto from Suri, because of her connection to Katie. He hasn't seen her since she was 7."

A friend reportedly said Tom Cruise never meant to 'be estranged' from Suri

Despite Tom Cruise's reportedly prolonged period of estrangement from Suri, an alleged friend of his has stated that the actor never meant to be so far removed from his daughter. While speaking to Hollywood Life in 2019, the friend explained that, even though Cruise isn't with Suri on important days like her birthday, he's always planning for them. The friend said, "Tom does plan to send Suri a gift and call her on her birthday."

The friend added that Cruise has a lot of love for Suri, and that being this distant from his daughter wasn't something he anticipated when he and Katie Holmes welcomed Suri to the world. The friend explained, "Tom never intended to be estranged from his daughter when he decided to have a family with Katie and looks forward to repairing the relationship one day."

While it's unclear when Cruise will ever reconnect with his daughter, assuming the reports about their estrangement are true, one thing that is certainly true is that the path getting to this point has been long, winding, and, truth be told, quite confusing. Perhaps the two will grow closer when Suri is an adult.

Tom Cruise doesn't live in the same state as Suri

One factor that likely complicates the relationship between Tom Cruise and daughter Suri is that they don't live in the same state — or even the same country. While Suri lives in New York City with her mom, Katie Holmes, Cruise has reportedly been living in London, England, since April 2021 (per In Touch Weekly ).

A source told the publication that the city is a natural fit for Cruise, explaining that he especially enjoys the rainy weather and being able to walk around his new home. He is also reportedly fond of the city because of the anonymity it lends him. The source said, "If he wears a hat and mask, he can slip into bookstores or antique shops and no one knows it's him. He's got family living there, too, which gives him a sense of belonging."

As for Suri, she and her mom moved to New York following the divorce. Holmes admitted to InStyle in 2020 that the city isn't quite as private as she'd like, but she said that the city is just right for her and Suri. She shared, "What I love about New York is that for me and my child, this is our vibe."

Tom Cruise is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars — but his children have maintained a relatively private life.

The 56-year-old actor’s daughter Isabella , 26, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman , recently opened up about her involvement in Scientology to fellow church members .

Kidman and Cruise, a high-ranking Scientologist, also have a son, Connor, 24. The two divorced in 2001.

Isabella, a fashion designer who also goes by Bella, detailed her training as an auditor for the Church of Scientology. Her testimonial was first posted by Tony Ortega, a prominent critic of the church.

Bella described the training as “exactly what I needed” telling church members, “We all need to do this. It’s hard work. It’s a lot of effort. It’s a few meltdowns and running to the bathroom to have a mini-episode, but it is worth everything because you will get through.”

An auditor within the church is extensively trained to help other members through intense self-examination sessions with the help of an electronic device called the E-meter.

She thanked her family members, including her father and his sister, Cass Mapother, for supporting her on her journey.

“Thank you to my Dad for everything,” she wrote. “I would have drowned in my own problems if you hadn’t been there to sup [sic] me or get me through the preliminaries. It took a whole family and an org to get me here.”

She also thanked “COB,” or the church’s chairman of the board, David Miscavige, as well as Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.

Bella and her siblings’ low-key lives have been protected by their famous parents.

In July 2018, a source told PEOPLE Cruise “loves all his children. And each of them has a right to their own story .”

The actor also has 12-year-old daughter Suri with ex-wife Katie Holmes .

Bella lives a quiet life in London with her husband, Max Parker, whom she married in 2015. Though neither of her parents attended the wedding, Cruise helped pay for the nuptials and party afterward, and a Kidman source told PEOPLE in October 2015 that the actress “is very happy for Bella.”

Connor also leads a private life in Clearwater, Fla., near Scientology headquarters. Though Connor used to DJ, he now spends much of his time deep-sea fishing and even competed in the sport earlier this year .

“Connor has a pretty simple life in Clearwater,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “He lives in his own home in a Scientology community. His life is deep-sea fishing. He has a lot of friends and seems very well-liked.”

Suri has lived with her mom in New York City and L.A. since Holmes and Cruise’s 2012 divorce. Neither Cruise nor Holmes has ever addressed speculation about his relationship with her.

She was seen selling lemonade during the Pride parade in N.Y.C. in June and loves helping people, according to her mom.

“My little one is very, very generous and very sensitive,” Holmes said about Suri in 2015 on Today . “She’s always [saying], ‘Mom, let’s give my old toys to people who need it .’ So we’re always doing that.”

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s adopted daughter, Bella, shared a rare social media snap of herself on Monday.

The rarely-photographed artist, 30, showed off her nose ring as she smoldered at the camera while reflecting on the last few months of the year.

“What a summer,” she captioned the photo, which was shared to her Instagram Story .

Bella, the eldest child of the Hollywood stars, wore a lacy sheer blouse over a black top and accessorized with a chic black beret.

She also rocked a fresh face of makeup, opting for just a light swipe of mascara on her eyelashes, a touch of blush on her cheeks, and bushy brushed-up brows.

Bella topped off her look with a red lip.

Bella also shared an Instagram video of an ocean sunset, captioning the post, “In my element 🌊.”

The illustrator, who often uses her social media account to share her abstract masterpieces, tends to keep a low profile – but does like to switch up her ‘do.

In March, she surprised followers when she debuted her new choppy haircut in another rare selfie on Instagram.

Bella is known for experimenting with different hairstyles, from dying her hair blond or red to rocking a chic bob or a short fringe.

The designer, who launched a clothing line in 2018 and lives in London with husband Max Parker, rarely shares glimpses of her personal life and steers clear of high-profile events.

Tom, 61, and Kidman, 56, adopted Bella and her brother Connor, 28, during their 11-year marriage. The “Big Little Lies” alum and “Top Gun” star divorced in 2001.

Kidman has previously addressed Bella and Connor’s decision to follow in their father’s footsteps and practice Scientology, sharing that she is supportive.

“They are adults,” the actress said in a 2018 interview with Who.com . “They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them. And I am an example of that tolerance and that’s what I believe – that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here.”

After her split from Tom, Kidman married Keith Urban, 55, in 2006 and the couple welcomed two daughters: Sunday, 15, and Faith, 12. Kidman gave birth to Sunday in 2008 and welcomed Faith via surrogate two years later.

Rumors have swirled for years that Bella is estranged from her parents, though she shut down the rumors in 2016.

“Of course [we talk], they’re my parents,” Bella told New Idea  of her relationship with Tom and Kidman, adding that anyone who believes the gossip is “full of s–t.”

However, she added fuel to the fire when she only thanked her youngest daughters during her awards show acceptance speeches in  2017  and  2018 .

But all seemed fine when Kidman thanked “all” her children while accepting her 2018 Critics’ Choice award.

Meanwhile, Tom seems to maintain a good relationship with Connor as the father-son duo joined forces at the actor’s New York City promotional event for “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning” in July.

The “Jerry Maguire” alum also shares daughter Suri, 17, with ex-wife Katie Holmes, whom he was married to from 2006 to 2012.
