Clear Bag Policy

Fans are strongly encouraged to not bring any types of bags to the North Charleston Coliseum & PAC, however, outlined below are types of bags that will be permitted:

- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 14” x 6” x 14” - One-gallon plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) - Small clutch bags, with or without a handle or strap, not to exceed 4.5” x 6.5” - An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at designated entrances specifically for this purpose. - Diaper bags will be allowed for families with infants and toddlers. Child must be present.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Fans will continue to be able to carry items allowed into the venues such as non-professional cameras, binoculars, and smartphones as long as they are in their pockets or one of the approved bags outlined above.

Food and Beverage

The North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center are now cashless facilities for food and beverage services.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Charleston Sternwheel Regatta Commission and Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin have announced the entertainment lineup for the 2024 Charleston Sternwheel Regatta.

“If there’s one thing we know – live music has the incredible power to bring people together to dance, sing, and create unforgettable shared experiences,” said Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin. “The City of Charleston is thrilled to join the Kanawha County Commission, Encova, Moses Auto Group, USI Insurance, WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals, Charleston Area Medical Center, WVCorp, The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, and many more to support the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta and bring you an amazing lineup of entertainment.”

“We’re excited for another outstanding lineup of entertainment for this year’s Regatta,” said Regatta Commission President Andy Richardson. “We couldn’t have done this without the sponsorship of key partners like Encova, the City of Charleston, and the Kanawha County Commission. The Regatta has a legacy of excellent entertainment, and I’m proud of the hard work by the board, the staff, and the entire team in ensuring this year will be one of the most memorable years ever.”

General on-sale for tickets for the tour begins Friday.

Menzel rose to fame for her role as Maureen in the popular Broadway musical Rent , and her career took off when she won a Tony Award for her role as Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, in the smash musical Wicked . Her voice can be heard as Elsa in Disney’s Frozen (the film’s song “Let It Go”, voiced by Menzel, won the Oscar for Best Original Song).
