Sports fans, listen up. If you want to take a London sports tour or stadium tour in London, you’ve come to the right place.

In this guide, we’re going over all of the best sports tours in London, from football (the British kind – soccer to Americans) to cricket to rugby and more.

How do I know?

If you just want one option, then you can’t go wrong with the Wembley Stadium tour – it’s the home of English football, and arguably there is nothing more iconic than that.

Take That at London’s O2 Arena: timings, tickets and everything you need to know

‘This Life On Tour‘ is coming to London for six whole nights – and there are still tickets up for grabs

Amy Houghton

If your idea of a very nice day (or night) out is watching a veteran boyband dust off their choreography, belt out their biggest hits and sport matching all-pink suits, you’re in luck – Take That have officially returned to arenas around the UK .

Following the release of their ninth studio album This Life, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald (sorry, no Jason or Robbie this time) have kicked off their UK and Ireland tour. Having already stopped by Sheffield, Leeds and Dublin, they’re currently in the midst of a very generous six-night run at the O2 here in London.

Heading to one of Take That’s London shows? From the start times to a potential setlist,  here’s everything you need to know about ‘This Life On Tour’ at the O2.

When are Take That playing London’s O2?

Take That are putting on shows at the O2 on  Thursday April 25 , Friday April 26, Saturday April 27 , Sunday April 28 , Tuesday April 30  and Wednesday May 1 .

What time do doors open?

Doors will open at 6.30pm each night apart from on April 28, when they’ll open at 6pm.

What time will Take That come on stage?

If it goes anything like the dates played so far, Take That fans can expect the band to take to the stage some time between 8.25pm and 8.45pm .

Who is supporting the band?

None other than Olly Murs. He’ll likely appear on stage around 7.25pm.

Has the setlist been confirmed?

A setlist for the London shows hasn’t been officially confirmed but we can get an idea of what it will look like based on a recent show in Leeds. According to Setlist.fm, it went something like this:

  • Keep Your Head Up
  • Days I Hate Myself
  • Everything Changes
  • A Million Love Songs
  • I Found Heaven
  • Forever Love
  • Speak Without Words
  • Get Ready for It
  • March of the Hopeful
  • The Champion
  • Greatest Day
  • Time and Time Again
  • Relight My Fire
  • One More Word
  • Hold Up a Light
  • Back for Good
  • Never Forget
  • Rule the World

What are the reviews saying?

With two more shows to go, reviewers of Take That’s first few London gigs last weekend have noted the tour’s scale and spectacle.

In a four-star review in the i , Shaun Curran described the ‘This Life’ tour as ‘another extravaganza of song, dance and stagecraft’ and that the show ‘brought the house down’.

In another four-star recommendation in the Standard , Ali Shutler said the show was ‘a seriously good time’ and ‘a glitzy, optimistic run-through of their career so far’.

Can you still get tickets to see Take That in London?

You absolutely can. According to Ticketmaster there is still some ticket availability for each night. Check for tickets here .

Emily Blunt makes big Taylor Swift, ‘Eras’ tour London decision

Emily Blunt seems excited to see Taylor Swift and the “Eras” tour during its London stop at Wembley Stadium.

During an interview with Access Hollywood about The Fall Guy , Blunt and her co-star Ryan Gosling were asked if they were Swifties. Blunt called herself a “huge, colossal” Swiftie.

“I’m going to go see her in August and I literally can’t wait,” Blunt revealed. “My daughters are just beside themselves. Yeah, she’s incredible.”

She then joked that Gosling was not invited. Her Fall Guy co-star would “cry too much,” so he’ll have to go on his own.

From August 15-20, Swift will play a five-night stay at Wembley Stadium in London. Earlier in the European leg, Swift will play three dates at Wembley Stadium from June 21-23. These are her final European dates before returning to the United States in October.

Taylor Swift is currently on a hiatus from her “Eras” tour before it resumes in May. She will take her blockbuster tour across Europe throughout the summer before returning to the United States in the fall.

In 2023, Swift began the “Eras” tour. It primarily visited various stadiums across North America before playing select dates in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil.

Additionally, Swift just released her eleventh album of original work, The Tortured Poets Department. At 2 am, Swift unveiled the Anthology edition of the album, which included an additional 15 tracks.

Who is Emily Blunt?

Emily Blunt is an award-winning actress who gained notoriety for her performance in The Devil Wears Prada. She is also known for her roles in Looper, Edge of Tomorrow, and Into the Woods. Her other notable roles include Sicario, The Girl on the Train, Mary Poppins Returns, and Jungle Cruise.

Recently, she also starred in the Quiet Place franchise. John Krasinski, her husband, starred in, co-wrote, and directed the first film. He returned as the director of the sequel film as well.

In 2023, Blunt starred in Christopher Nolan’s Best Picture-winning Oppenheimer . The film was a huge box office hit and opened opposite Barbie. Blunt also received her first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Katherine Oppenheimer.

She now stars in The Fall Guy, which stars Barbie star Ryan Gosling.

In the film, Blunt plays a film director. Gosling plays a stuntman and Blunt’s ex-boyfriend. Together, they have to save the star of Blunt’s film after he is kidnapped.

David Leitch (Bullet Train) directed the film. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Winston Duke, and Stephanie Hsu also star in the film. The Fall Guy premiered at the 2024 SXSW (South by Southwest) Film Festival on March 12.

Coming up, Blunt will star in If. Like A Quiet Place, the film was written and directed by Krasinski. Ryan Reynolds, Steve Carrell, Cailey Fleming, and Matt Damon will also star in the film.
