A - It is wheelchair accessible, but only one wheelchair is valid on the bus, so two wheelchair users would not be able to enjoy the tour at the same time.

A - The length tour will depend on your pace, although the tour usually lasts about three and a half hours. On this tour you'll have a total of four hours free for the visit.

15th September – 5th November Delve a little deeper into the world of the Dark Arts as the Studios are transformed for the Halloween Season. From floating pumpkins in the Great Hall to pools of silvery unicorn blood, you’ll learn how the Prop Making Department hand-crafted spooky items to bring the Wizarding World to life. You’ll also be able to test out your wand combat skills against an actual Death Eater as they patrol an eerier Diagon Alley!

Hogwarts in the Snow

11th November – 14th January The Studio Tour becomes even more magical during the Christmas season! Explore Hogwarts in the Snow to learn how film-makers created ice that never melts and fireplaces that burn forever with special effects. Special Christmas props including hand-made cards, Christmas trees, and decorations from the Yule Ball will also be on display.

Once your guided tour comes to an end, you have the option to re-enter and explore the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London at your leisure, find a special Harry Potter souvenir at the Studio Shop or enjoy a coffee in the Studio Tour Cafe. When you're ready to head back to central London, your City Wonders representative will provide train tickets and all necessary information for an easy journey.

The journey from Victoria Coach Station to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter takes between 1 - 1½ hours, depending on traffic. Inside the Studio Tour we spend up to 4 hours, followed by a return journey to London of approx 1 - 1½ hours. Therefore we advise passengers to factor in about 7 hours for the whole experience. Itinerary including finishing point is subject to change.

Although Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is wheelchair accessible, the transport coach to get there is not, therefore we can only accommodate wheelchair users who are able to board and alight the coach on foot and who have a folding wheelchair.

Warner Bros. Discovery has named Buddy Marini as its Japanese GM, reporting to WBD Asia-Pacific president James Gibbons.

Based in Tokyo, Marini’s role will involve leading WBD’s home entertainment, digital and TV licensing, consumer products, anime production, franchise and pay TV networks operations, but excludes theatrical operations and the Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo: The Making of Harry Potter business. He takes up the post June 3.

Most recently, Marini founded global mobile platform Mangamo, offering a large mobile manga library to fans worldwide. With more than 25 years’ experience in leadership across media and technology companies in Japan , China and the U.S., Marini was also Japan’s GM for gaming company Supercell, as well as the CEO for streamer Hulu Japan.

Additionally, he has held leadership positions at Avex Group Holdings Inc., Universal Studios and Mitsui-Sumitomo Investment Bank. Marini earned his Finance degree at Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, and an MBA in Entertainment Marketing from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. “Buddy brings an impressive track record to WBD, with two decades of broad industry experience across several markets and verticals,” said Gibbons. “Japan is a key growth driver, with opportunities to scale further through franchise and IP development, distribution partnerships and content for both local and global platforms. Buddy’s expertise, proven leadership and commercial mindset will be key as we look to deliver these ambitions.” Marini added: “I am honored to join WBD at such an exciting time in the industry. Japan holds a special place in the world of entertainment, and I look forward to working with the talented team at WBD to deliver world-class content and unforgettable experiences to audiences in Japan and around the globe.” WBD also confirmed the promotion of Chieko Nishi as Vice President, Head of Networks, Japan, replacing Glen Kyne, who has decided to depart the company and will leave on July 5.

Nishi joined WBD in 2023 to lead the company’s content and network operations and brought more than 17 years’ experience to the business, including a role as Head of Studios at Spotify Japan. Over the past year, Nishi consolidated WBD’s seven-channel linear portfolio under a new joint venture with J:COM, and spearheaded new commercial partnerships locally. Nishi will report to Marini.

Buddy Marini, Veteran Asia Executive, Hired as GM of Warner Bros. Discovery in Japan

Veteran Asian executive Buddy Marini has been appointed GM of Warner Bros. Discovery in Japan.

The role covers all operations in Japan including home entertainment, digital & TV licensing, consumer products, anime production, franchise and pay-TV networks, but excluding theatrical and the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo: The Making of Harry Potter business.

Marini joins WBD with 25+ years' experience in leadership across media and technology companies in Japan, China and the U.S. Most recently, he founded global mobile platform Mangamo, offering one of the largest mobile manga libraries to fans worldwide. Prior to this, Marini was GM, Japan for gaming company Supercell, and CEO for Hulu Japan, where he successfully oversaw the streaming platform's development and growth into one of the country's leading services. He has held additional leadership positions at Avex Group Holdings Inc., Universal Studios and Mitsui-Sumitomo Investment Bank.

WBD also confirmed the promotion of Nishi Chieko as VP, head of networks, Japan, replacing Glen Kyne, who has decided to depart the company and will leave on July 5. She will report to Marini. Marini, who joins from June 3 will report to WBD Asia Pacific president, James Gibbons.

The company said that Marini will be expected to drive growth and revenues business-wide, including expansion across distribution and sales strategies, digital platforms and local anime production.  Gibbons recently revealed an expansion of its anime production operations in Japan .

Nishi joined WBD in 2023 to lead content and network operations. She was previously the head of studios at Spotify Japan. During the past year, Nishi has been instrumental in consolidating WBD's seven-channel linear portfolio under a new JV with J:COM, and spearheading new commercial partnerships locally.
