D.R.U.G.S. Return for First U.S. Headline Tour Dates in Eight Years
Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows ( D.R.U.G.S. ) will be back on the touring circuit this fall, heading out on their first headline tour of the U.S. in eight years.
Singer Craig Owens will be joined by guitarist Jona Weinhofen in the band. Weinhofen's past credits include stints in Bring Me the Horizon, I Killed the Prom Queen and Bleeding Through. The group split in 2012 after releasing their sole self-titled album and a live EP in 2011.
"I can’t wait to head back out on tour with D.R.U.G.S. this fall,” says Owens with enthusiasm. "This tour has been a long time coming, and we’re all stoked to revisit classic D.R.U.G.S. songs for our fans, along with debuting some of the new music that we’ve been working on. The idea of playing heavy music again on these intimate stages is sure to bring us all some much-needed relief and chaos after such a long time without live music. See you soon!”
The trek will span nearly a month-and-a-half, hitting over 30 U.S. markets as D.R.U.G.S. make the most of this touring opportunity. The run officially kicks off Oct. 27 at the House of Independents in Asbury Park, New Jersey, with dates currently booked through Dec. 10 at Columbus, Ohio's Woodlands Tavern. Support bands for the run will be announced soon. See all of the stops listed below and get ticketing info here .
Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows reformed earlier this year, signing a record deal with Velocity Records. Look for a new album expected to arrive before year's end. This would be the band's first new music since their 2011 self-titled release.

Scary Kids Scaring Kids and D.R.U.G.S. Announce 2022 U.S. Tour
Fans of 21st century post-hardcore are in for a special treat next year. Post-hardcore vets Scary Kids Scaring Kids and D.R.U.G.S. — the band featuring Chiodos frontman Craig Owens and ex-Bring Me the Horizon guitarist Jona Weinhofen — have announced a co-headlining U.S. tour that also boasts support from Secrets and Dead American, the group fronted by former Saosin vocalist Cove Reber.
Helmed by Velocity Records and presented by Revolver , the journey begins on February 16th in Fort Wayne, IN, and will travel throughout the Midwest, South and both coasts — including three California dates and three Texas stops — before concluding in Worcester, MA, on March 20th.
Back in September, D.R.U.G.S.' played their first show since 2012 at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival, so this will mark their first proper tour in 10 years. Similarly, SKSK dusted off their tour boots in early 2020 and again this past fall to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their 2005 debut, The City Sleeps in Flames . For many fans, this will be the first opportunity to see these bands perform in over a decade.
Today (December 15th) at 12 p.m. EST, fans can access exclusive Revolver pre-sale tickets by entering the password "VELOCITY" at the point of purchase. Head to D.R.U.G.S. ' and Scary Kids Scaring Kids ' Bandsintown pages to snag tickets for your preferred date and see the full routing below.

When Craig Owens was asked to leave Chiodos in 2010, that didn’t dampen his spirit. He went one step better and created super group- Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (abbreviated as D.R.U.G.S.). The band featured members of: Matchbox Romance, Underminded, From First To Last and Story of the Year to complete this Michigan post-hardcore outfit.
Naturally their first live shows were played were hometown, two back to back sold out instantly. 2011 was a great year for D.R.U.G.S. not only releasing their debut album but also, playing main stage for the duration of Vans Warped Tour and headlined the Alternative Press tour with Black Veil Brides.
Witty titles such as “If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is” and “Mr Owl Ate My Metal Worm” (Fun Fact: “Mr Owl” is a palindrome, basically it reads the same backwards as it does forwards!) are only small insight into the genius of D.R.U.G.S. Owens commands the stage, calling out for the largest circle pit known to man the crowd happily oblige gradually as it increases in size. It’s mesmerising to witness such a display as the crowd gets so actively involved running in unison round a circle whilst sings directly for a crowd. If an electric live atmosphere’s what you want, look no further than D.R.U.G.S.

Post-hardcore Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (D.R.U.G.S.) is back with a new full-length album,'DESTROY REBUILD,' their first release since 2011's acclaimed self-titled debut album. Craig Owens isonce again at the project's helm and has again orchestrated a band and record that is sure not just tocatch your attention but also keep it. The new release, 'DESTROY REBUILD,' offers listeners the uniquelynostalgic D.R.U.G.S. sound they have been craving while also exploring new territories making 'DESTROY REBUILD' the perfect progression and exciting new chapter.
When Owens got to writing, he described Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows's signature sound as "fast, tothe point, syncopated rhythms with a melody on top." The aggressive melodies are paired with low-tunedguitars and introspective lyrics to create the nostalgic alternative rock sound that we all grew up with andhave come to crave. To capture this sound, Owens connected with A-List producer Howard Bensonwhose past work with My Chemical Romance and The All American Rejects heavily influenced themodern alternative rock world. Benson's raw talent for recording helped shape the structures andharmonies of the album. Owens found this collaborative process cathartic and embraced his newfoundflow of creativity.
Owens' knack for creating sincere lyrics shines through while touching on topics like destiny, perspective, and redemption on 'DESTROY REBUILD.' It is a physical manifestation of the course he has taken in hismusical career and encapsulates each step along the way. "Everything that we are today is because ofyesterday, and this depicts where I have been, but also where I'm going." It is a bright reflection of one'slife and actions, and it encourages the listener to do the same in their own life.
"DESTINY," the first single off of the record, is a solid bridge between the first D.R.U.G.S. self-titled recordand 'DESTROY REBUILD.' Is it a hard-hitting track that expertly blends the nostalgic alternative rocksound with enough modernity that's sure to appeal to many different listeners. Another track off thealbum, "The Arm," is a collection of melodies, lyrics, and hooks eloquently constructed together. It isknown as the "anomaly" of the album due to its organic nature of origin and leans toward the band'sfuture.
'DESTROY REBUILD' is an exciting new beginning for Owens. It is a way for him to connect with fans toshare life experiences, and he is hoping the album will help them cope with whatever they are dealingwith and experiencing. "This album is my first step forward without thinking of running back," Owensstated. "I hope it can leave a mark and grow with people."

D.R.U.G.S. Announce New Album 'DESTROY REBUILD'
The new album will be released on June 17.
Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows (D.R.U.G.S) have announced the release date of their forthcoming, highly anticipated new album 'DESTROY REBUILD' which will be released June 17, 2022 through Equal Vision Records/Velocity Records. Today, the band also shares the new single and music video for "Satellites In Motion" which fans can see below.
It is their first release since 2011's acclaimed self-titled debut album. Craig Owens is once again at the project's helm and has orchestrated a band and record that is sure not just to catch your attention but also keep it. 'DESTROY REBUILD,' offers listeners the uniquely nostalgic D.R.U.G.S. sound they have been craving while also exploring new territories making 'DESTROY REBUILD' the perfect progression and exciting new chapter.
To capture this sound, Owens connected with A-List producer Howard Benson whose past work with My Chemical Romance and The All-American Rejects heavily influenced the modern alternative rock world. Benson's raw talent for recording helped shape the structures and harmonies of the album. Owens found this collaborative process cathartic and embraced his newfound flow of creativity.
The album is now available for pre-order at this link here .
"Satellites In Motion" is the second song to be released from 'DESTROY REBUILD'. Owens explains that the song "is about emotionally distant to someone you are physically close to."
The single follows "DESTINY" which was released last month. "DESTINY" is a solid bridge between the first D.R.U.G.S. self-titled record and 'DESTROY REBUILD.' Is it a hard-hitting track that expertly blends the nostalgic alternative rock sound with enough modernity that's sure to appeal to many different listeners.

D.R.U.G.S. at Bogart's - Destroy/Rebuild Tour Review
Jared bowers .
Full disclosure: I’m in a weird place when it comes to heavy music. The landscape of hardcore, metal, and everything in between has shifted so dramatically since the late 90’s/early 00’s, when I was really cutting my teeth on contemporary heavy music like Shai Hulud, Bane, Deftones, etc - I’ve done my best to keep up, but I admit that I’ve missed quite a bit of what’s been going on. Or, honestly, it just hasn’t worked for me. I’d eventually make my way to Norma Jean, The Chariot, Every Time I Die, Between The Buried And Me, etc, and I think that’s where this tour more comfortably exists, sonically speaking.
The audience for last night’s show was primed, though. Even as the pre-show music was playing, standing in the photo pit I could see folks who were ready for whatever happened - they were just stoked to be there. An image of Shrek kept popping up on the projection screen on stage, and the crowd would scream with excitement. It would disappear to audible sighs and disappointed shouts. It turned into a game that whoever was running the projection screen at the time took to with good humor, as this continued for basically the rest of the night. Good for Shrek, I guess?
Openers 156/Silence and (personal favorites) The Callous Daoboys certainly tap into those particular icons of their genres. 156/Silence traffics in moody, roiling, breakdown heavy post-hardcore, with a few sprinklings of metalcore and the more angular takes of bands like Norma Jean. Snarling vocals in between droll stage presence, they were a good way to start the night.
The band I was, admittedly, most curious to see played next. The Callous Daoboys are that weird mix of “we’re good and we know it” and “we’re really not taking any of this too seriously,” and that’s a really wild sweet spot to try to live within. They pull it off pretty flawlessly, though. A 6-piece, they were almost on top of each other on stage, and between two guitarist, a violinist (yes, really), keyboards, and drums, it was a chaotically entertaining 30 minutes of Wii Sports jokes, a 30 second dance party, and some of the most interesting and complex (and lyrically impenetrable) songs from their catalog. They’re not quite metal, not quite hardcore, not quite progressive, but somehow all those things at the same time.
Philly’s metalcore-adjacent Varials took the stage next - a violently loud, bass-drop heavy set that varied from mid-tempo chugfests to monstrous, circle pit inducing breakdowns. I noted to a friend who attended the show with me how amusing and also baffling it was to see what I’d assume to be mild-mannered, relatively quiet folks with veins popping out of their necks, screaming lyrics, shouting at the crowd throughout a song, then ending with a quiet, sincere, “Thank you so much.” Their set was one of variations on a theme, with chunky low-end and throbbing bass coupled with swift guitar work, driving drums, and clean to scream vocals throughout. It was a well calibrated set, timed perfectly with projected visuals on the backdrop. Solid all around.
Closing things out was Craig Owens, formerly of post-hardcore legends Chiodos, with 3 of 4 members of Varials playing the backing band for his once defunct project, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows. Or, D.R.U.G.S. As he took the stage shortly after the rest of the band, it was easy to see that this was his project, his show, his stage. His vocals were as on point as ever as the band tore through D.R.U.G.S. songs from 2 full length releases, even veering into the Chiodos catalog a few times (much to the crowds delight). Naturally high notes and piercing screams paired with more straightforward melodic post-hardcore are a good combination, and coupled with some Chiodos arrangements, it was a dynamic set that let Owens shine as both a vocalist and a frontman. That’s not something everyone can do.
When it was all said and done, it was a good night not just for heavy music, but for collaboration - throughout the show, members from other bands routinely joined the band on stage for guest vocal spots, all of them fun and well placed. No doubt the crowd left sated. I hope the bands did, too.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:
From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.
At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.
According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.
The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.
Coffee Ring
The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.
Zodiac Metro
According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.
Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.
Paleontological finds
Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

Go beneath the streets on this tour of the spectacular, mind-bending Moscow Metro! Be awed by architecture and spot the Propaganda , then hear soviet stories from a local in the know. Know More about this tour
We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.

Traveler Reviews
This tour exceeded our expectations. Nikolai (Nick), our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, thorough, and has a great personality. He didn't take shortcuts and really covered everything that was on the agenda in great detail. We saw beautiful metro stations and learned the history behind them, including many of the murals and designs.
We did the tour with Anna her knowledge and understanding of the History surrounding the metro brought the tour alive. Well done Anna!
