Fabolous, Emily B debut newborn daughter: ‘Life is a journey’

Rapper Fabolous and his longtime girlfriend Emily Bustamante showed off their newborn daughter in an Instagram post on Sunday. 

Journey Isabella Jackson is the couple’s third child together, and Bustamante has an elder daughter from a previous relationship. 

The photo of the adorable baby girl was posted on Bustamante’s page with the caption, “Life is a Journey.” She also tagged the baby’s own Instagram page, which is private. 

In her Instagram Story , the mom also shared a photo of herself happily holding her new daughter while still in the hospital. 

Bustamante and Fabolous, whose real name is John Jackson, welcomed their daughter into the world on Oct. 10.

The couple announced that they were expecting a daughter in June. The rapper shared a sonogram photo accompanied by the words, “Girl Dad,” a phrase made popular by late NBA star Kobe Bryant . In the caption, Fabolous wrote, “Got the best gift ever for Father’s Day!” Bustamante shared the same image in her IG Story with a pink heart.

In 2018, the couple had a domestic violence incident that was captured on film. Reportedly, the Grammy Award-nominated rhymer hit Bustamante in the face multiple times, knocking out her two front teeth. He was later charged with one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill and one count of possession of a weapon.

Fabolous ultimately participated in a pre-trial intervention program, which he completed without any additional incidents.

In September, the couple shared photos from their baby shower. He posted the photos on Instagram with the caption, “My Daddy planted a seed… My Mama watered me wit a plan to succeed.” 

A clip of the couple’s eldest child, 22-year-old Taina Williams, tending to her little sister has also made rounds on social media. 

Fabolous’ domestic violence history trended again this weekend on Twitter after a blogger posted a photo of the couple with the caption, “Note To Women: Mr. Right won’t be perfect, but he will love you perfectly through your imperfection and show you what love truly is.”

Fabolous and Girlfriend Emily Bustamante Welcome a Daughter

The birth comes a year and a half after Fabolous reportedly struck a plea deal after allegedly punching Emily Bustamante in the face seven times

Fabolous is a father once more.

The 42-year-old rapper and his girlfriend, Love & Hip Hop: New York alum Emily Bustamante , welcomed their third child together and first daughter on Saturday, Oct. 10, Bustamante shared Sunday on her Instagram Story .

First posting a video of her hospital bracelet alongside the date "10/10," the new mother of four then went on to share footage of her 22-year-old daughter Taina tending to her new baby sister .

"She's nice and warm in here, too, she's about to be so mad! But it has to get done," Taina says, presumably as she's getting ready to change the newborn's diaper.

The new parents — who also share sons Jonas , 5, and Johan , 12 — have not released any other birth details, including their new addition's name.

A rep for Fabolous didn't immediately return PEOPLE's request for comment.

Fabolous was at the center of controversy in March 2018, when he was charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats after allegedly punching Bustamante, 39, seven times in the face "causing severe damage to her two front teeth" and threatening her father and brother during a "domestic dispute" in Englewood, New Jersey.

The "Make Me Better" rapper, born John Jackson, and Bustamante allegedly got into an argument over text message after he "became enraged" when he found out via Instagram she was also in Los Angeles, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Bustamante told authorities that Fabolous wrote that he wanted to "hit her in the head with a baseball bat" and that he would "kill her" but he "did not want to go out like that," as reported by NorthJersey.com.

According to TMZ , Fabolous struck a plea deal in March 2019 and avoided jail time. The outlet reports that the rapper was not required to participate in anger-management courses or therapy, but did have to take part in a "pretrial intervention program" for a year and check in with the court monthly.

Fabolous addressed the incident on HOT 97's Ebro in the Morning this past December, where he said he had "put his energy and focus into" dealing with it "internally" instead of worrying out external backlash.

"Publicly, everybody is going to have their opinions, there's gonna be speculation ... but the clarity that I was looking for was inside more than anything, 'cause that's the people that I have to deal with every day," he said. "Those are the people that I care about, that I love, that I want to make sure that they are clear on what's going on. ... I didn't really focus on what was going on the outside."

As for the video of himself threatening Bustamante's father, "Looking at the video is different from being inside of it. From the video's point, it looks crazy," he said. "[I'm not] trying to excuse myself or anything of that nature; it was really more of an internal thing with us going through the motion of what was happening ."

"I apologize for coming across in the light I wouldn't want to be represented in," the rapper continued. "I don't know anything else to really [say]. People make their opinions. It's hard to, after the fact, change somebody's opinion on seeing a video of something, because people see with their own eyes and they make their own judgment. So all I can I do is apologize for being in a light that's not showing [my] best self."

Fabolous brought in the New Year with his wife, stylist Emily Bustamante, and expressed his love to the lady of his life. Posting a few romantic pictures, the “Can’t Let You Go” rapper wrote, “I know the cool of this generation is being savage & not giving a f—.. And all the rap songs say money over everything & everybody is sleeping wit somebody else’s man or woman.. But fa real.. having a partner to love, share life with, raise a family together with, & make each other better is real GOALS. That’s the real COOL. That’s really WINNING!! Love You @emilyb_”

Fab and Emily welcomed their first daughter together in October named Journey Isabella. The happy couple also has two sons together, as well as Emily’s 21-year old daughter Taina from a previous relationship, that they raised.

Fabolous and T.I. recently discussed their relationships and how record labels wanted artists to shield their private lives away from the public for marketing purposes. During the chat on T.I.’s expediTIously podcast, Fab explained, “Family life wasn’t at the forefront of your career or who you was at all as an artist. You was even supposed to be projected as a single man for the public. I didn’t know DMX or Ja Rule was married. People been married ten years or been together for years with their girl from their high school. That wasn’t the thing then. I also feel that was wrong. Because if we would have seen those key figures with their families, we would’ve also thought that was cool.”

Fabolous and Emily’s B’s family is further expanding as they are awaiting their first grandchild. Their daughter Taina and her boyfriend, Chicago rapper G Herbo , announced her pregnancy at the top of the year on Instagram. They happily posted, “You were made with so much love no one else will ever know the strength of my love for you already. 2020 was hard but you gave me hope for 2021. We love you & cannot wait to meet you my sweet baby. Happy new year.”

Rapper Fabolous and Emily Bustamante have welcomed their third child — a daughter.

Taina Williams, G Herbo’s girlfriend and Fabolous’s stepdaughter is seen comforting the little bundle of joy in a heart-warming video.

The couple has not announced the baby’s name. Fabulous and Emily have been an on-and-off couple for about 18 years but have never married. She’s best known for her appearance on Love & Hip Hop: New York but fans’ reaction to the baby news is mixed due to a viral domestic dispute two years ago.

Fabolous allegedly knocked Emily’s two front teeth out

In 2018, a video surfaced appearing to show rapper Fabolous pointing a sharp object at Emily B and her father while threatening them and lunging at her. In the disturbing video, published on TMZ , children can be heard screaming in the background as the reality TV star’s father calls the 42-year-old rapper a coward.

Fabolous later faced charges including one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill, and one count of possession of a weapon.

Court documents revealed that the Brooklyn-born rapper allegedly punched the mother of his children seven times in the face, which caused her to lose her two front teeth. He was arrested but did not serve any jail time after entering a plea deal .

Reactions to the baby news were mixed due to the couple’s turbulent relationship history. “Babies don’t save the relationship,” one commenter said in reaction to the news.

Another questioned the reality TV star ‘s decision to reconcile with her longterm partner, writing: “She still having kids by him after he knocked her teeth out?”

Fabolous is close to his stepdaughter’s boyfriend G Herbo — a popular Chicago rapper. The 42-year old took to Instagram to celebrate Herbo’s birthday, symbolizing his approval of the PTSD rapper.

According to BET ,  Emily B has revealed the first picture of her daughter since she gave birth on October 10. The cute picture showed her daughter wrapped in a floral blanket and a head wrap with a bow. "Life is a Journey," she wrote alongside her child's Instagram handle and the date of her birth. Fabolous also shared on his Instagram a picture of his newborn baby daughter. The photo featured the rapper holding his daughter  wrapped up in a white, fuzzy blanket with her wearing adorable knit booties. The caption read, "My baby girl big stepping into the world," alongside her birthdate, as well.

The 39-year-old announced the birth of her daughter on October 11 in an Instagram story. Emily first posted a video of her hospital bracelet with the date 10/10 alongside. She followed the post of footage of her 22-year-old daughter, Taina, taking care of her new baby sister. Her eldest daughter said in the video, "She's nice and warm in here, too, she's about to be so mad! But it has to get done," assuming the baby's diaper needed to be changed.

Emily and Fabolous aren't new to the world of parenting . The couple also shares sons Jonas, 5, and Johan, 12. Emily's eldest daughter, Taina, is from a previous relationship. The couple now has a beautiful family of six. Their newborn baby daughter will definitely have more than enough love from all of her six family members.

The new addition to Emily B and Fabolous' family will hopefully bring these two closer together. The couple has had a tumultuous past that many couples usually could never get through. Fabolous has shown how great of a father he has been to their children and how great of a partner he has been to Emily B. It seems as though these two are able to get through their past and look into the future with their growing family.

The 42-year-old rapper — whose real name is John David Jackson — has yet to speak publicly on the newest addition to their family.

The longtime couple made headlines two years ago after Fabolous allegedly knocked Emily’s two front teeth out. Fabolous turned himself in and was arrested on domestic violence charges. He was indicted on four felony charges in October 2018.

Fabolous found out on Father’s Day that he was going to be a dad again.

However, the couple had not always seen such smooth waters. Two years ago the rapper clashed with Emily B and her father (as we reported here ). During the incident, he is said to have knocked out two of her teeth. The rapper then turned himself into the police after.

The couple has since made amends, despite reports – that have since been denied by the rapper- that they split last July.

Either way, congratulations are in order for them and their new bundle of joy.

Rapper Fabolous Called 'Bitter' And Manipulative By Stepdaughter For Not Taking Care Of 2-Year-Old Child

In an attempt to wish his youngest child a happy birthday, rapper Fabolous may have just played himself big time. Fab’s daughter, Journey Isabella , turned 2 years old on Oct. 10. Journey is the youngest of three children that the artist shares with his stylist ex-girlfriend, Emily B . Aside from their daughter, the couple has two sons — Johan and Jonas Jackson, ages 14 and 7.

Like most parents would, the “Make Me Better” rapper took to Instagram to acknowledge his daughter’s birthday with a heartfelt message. The post featured a sweet picture of the Brooklyn rapper holding his daughter and a few words for her on her special day.

“I named you Journey because that’s really what it’s been,” the caption began. “Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end I don’t believe you can have faith unless you trust the JOURNEY. You have taught me that so I look at you with understanding & love. Your life assures it will all add up… 10 • 10 • 2020

Fab’s followers sent their virtual birthday wishes to the toddler and commented on her father’s meaningful explanation for her name. However, quickly after the post went up, the artist’s stepdaughter, Taina Williams , demanded the Brooklyn rapper stop the charades.

Williams, Emily B ‘s daughter from a previous relationship, took to the rapper’s Instagram comments to accuse him of abandoning his youngest daughter after he and Emily B split. She also accused Fabolous of only being a father to his sons and manipulating them.

“This post is hilarious,” wrote Williams . “‘Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end’ Is Translation for = I haven’t taken care of my daughter in almost a year & don’t even ask about her well-being because IDC & I’m bitter & I’m only a father to my two beautiful sons who I can manipulate. Stop playing with the internet.”

The comment by Taina is just another item added to the dirty laundry that’s been piling up about the family for years.

As Blavity previously reported, Fab, whose real name is, John Jackson, and the mother of his children, Emily, whose full name is Emily Bustamante, have had a tumultuous relationship. In 2018, Fabolous was indicted on four felonies for assaulting her.

Fabolous allegedly assaulted Bustamante on Mar. 7, 2018, after discovering she went on a trip to Los Angeles on Instagram, TMZ reports. The then 40-year-old was also in the city at the time, and on his flight back to New Jersey, he allegedly sent a text message to Bustamante saying he wanted to hit her in the head with a baseball bat and kill her, but that he “did not want to go out like that,” NorthJersey.com reports.

Following the trip, the rapper allegedly punched his girlfriend in the head seven times and knocked out her two front teeth. According to an affidavit, Bustamante later called her father and brother to the home the couple shared to retrieve some guns because she feared Fab would use them on her, NorthJersey.com reports.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Fabolous is chasing Bustamante and threatening her dad later. The rapper appears to be holding a metal item and threatening to shoot Bustamante’s father as a bodyguard attempts to intervene. Fab lunges at Bustamante at one point, causing her to scream and run away. A child can be heard hollering in the background.

This incident left the rapper facing up to 20 years in prison .

To everyone’s surprise, the couple stayed together after the altercation and then had their daughter Journey in 2020.

According to The Jasmine Brand , fans speculated a breakup between the couple, as the celebrity stylist celebrated her birthday without Fab and unfollowed him on social media.

Neither Bustamante nor Jackson have commented on whether the split has affected his ability to be an active parent.

Fabolous Called Out by Stepdaughter Taina Williams After He Wishes Other Daughter Happy Birthday

Fabolous  is catching flak from his stepdaughter, Taina Williams , who is alleging he is not involved in his young daughter's life.

On Monday (Oct. 10), Loso wished his 2-year-old daughter Journey a happy birthday in a heartfelt post on Instagram.

"I named you Journey because that’s really what it’s been," Fabolous captioned a photo holding his young daughter. "Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end. I don’t believe you can have faith unless you trust the JOURNEY. You have taught me that so I look at you with understanding & love. Your life assures it will all add up… 10 • 10 • 2020. Happy Bday Journey Jackson."

Apparently, the post did not sit well with Fabolous ' stepdaughter, Taina Williams, who called the Brooklyn, N.Y. MC out in a since-deleted comment.

"This post is hilarious," Taina wrote along with crying laughing emojis. “‘Might not know when you going thru it , but you’ll get it at the end' Is Translation for = I haven’t taken care of my daughter in almost a year & don’t even ask about her well being because IDC & Im bitter & I’m only a father to my two beautiful sons who I can manipulate. There has been speculation going on since earlier this year that Fabolous and Emily B, Taina and Journey's mother, have ended their 20-year relationship. This is after they worked through Fab being charged with assaulting Emily in 2018 . Fab and Emily also have two sons together.

On Oct. 10, the 44-year-old Brooklynite posted a sweet picture of his daughter Journey in honor of the young tot’s 2nd birthday.

Fabolous and Emily welcomed Journey in October 2020, but according to Taina, Emily B’s eldest daughter, it doesn’t seem like the rapper has been around much to spend time with the youngster. After catching wind of the emotional post on Monday, Taina hopped into Fab’s comment section where she went in on the Hip-Hop star for being an absent father over the last year.

Fab and Emily B’s rocky relationship journey

Fabolous and Emily B’s romance blossomed in 2001, but the couple hit a rough patch in 2018 after the fashion designer accused the “Cold Summer” hitmaker of knocking out two of her teeth during a domestic dispute. The “Street Dreams” rapper was indicted by a grand jury on DV charges, but he later struck a plea deal with Emily B and avoided jail time, according to TMZ.

In February 2022, some fans began to speculate whether the couple had split after a few people noticed that they had unfollowed each other on social media. Emily was also recently spotted celebrating her birthday without the rapper.

It’s a sad story given that in the past, the couple have been able to work out their differences for the sake of their kiddos. Emily and Fab were married for four years before rumors of their alleged split surfaced. In addition to Journey, the pair also have two sons together.

Hopefully the on and off again couple can work through this rough patch to figure out the best way to successfully co-parent their three children together.

Fabolous Claps Back at Emily B’s Eldest Daughter After She Accused Him of Abandoning, Manipulating His Kids

Fabolous is calling out the daughter of his longtime ex-girlfriend Emily Bustamante, aka Emily B , in his new single, “Selfish Freestyle.”

The song included lyrics about his would-be stepdaughter, Taina Williams, for her past comments claiming the rapper hadn’t “taken care of” his and Emily B’s 3-year-old daughter, Journey Jackson, in nearly a year.

Fab and Emily B also share two sons, 15-year-old Johan Jackson and 8-year-old Jonas Jackson.

The lyrics reference Williams’ comments on the rapper’s birthday Instagram post to his daughter on October 10, 2022. It was captioned, “I named you Journey because that’s really what it’s been.. Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end I don’t believe you can have faith unless you trust the JOURNEY. You have taught me that so I look at you with understanding & love. Your life assures it will all add up… 10 • 10 • 2020 Happy Bday Journey Jackson@journeyisabella_.”

Williams wrote and later deleted, “This post is hilarious. Might not know when you going thru it, but you’ll get it at the end’ Is Translation for = I haven’t taken care of my daughter in almost a year & don’t even ask about her well being because IDC & Im bitter & I’m only a father to my two beautiful sons who I can manipulate. Stop playing with the internet.”

On the new single, Fabolous claimed he had taken care of Taina and her mother since she was a 6-year-old. He maintained a father figure role in her life after he began dating her mother in 2001 when Taina was 3. The former couple dated on and off for 20 years before splitting in 2022. The rapper’s new lyrics seem to respond directly to Williams:

“You know what’s selfish? / The confidence of a snitch / Luck is a lady but Karma’s always a b—h / Selfishness that makes someone comment under your pic / When he took care of you and your mama since you was six / Who’s selfish? / Maybe we all are.”

Four years before the split, the New York recording artist was charged with domestic violence after he assaulted Emily B and reportedly knocked out her two front teeth.

Video of the incident that took place at their New Jersey home shows the “Cold Summer” rapper threatening Emily B and her father during a heated argument as he held a pair of scissors in his hand. Fabolous later apologized , claiming the argument stemmed from ongoing tensions and other household issues between the two.

“Looking at the video is different from being inside of it,” he stated on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning.” “From the video point it looks crazy. I’m not trying to excuse myself, it was really more of, like, an internal thing with us going through the motion of what was happening, our emotions and a lot of things that was building up with our relationship and our family,” the Def Jam artist explained.

“It wasn’t about the video or who put out the video,” he added. “It was more just about us getting back to the place that we need to be.”

The “Make Me Better” rapper was also charged with one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill, and one count of possession of a weapon for brandishing the scissors. He avoided jail time after completing six months of violence prevention workshops, which led the couple to separate briefly in 2020.

The following year, Fabolous caught flak for sharing a sweet post about Emily, as fans reminded him of his past abuse.

As did fans in the comment section after his new video was shared via Onsite’s Instagram page.

“Ain gone hold you Fab .. I like you .. and you can dress but that girl watched you beat her mom and break her teeth . Hold what ya got,” replied one. “There it is…..thank you,” added another. “Must’ve hit a nerve so bad u had to write bout it put her in a song u wrong.”

“Baby, I wouldn’t care if you bought my mama new legs and eyes. The minute you knock her teeth out, it’s UP FOREVER. TF!?!?!?! FOH.”

“This is sassy at its finest,” added another. “He a corn ball, corn on the cob, corn on bread, sweet corn, street corn, sir corn sir. Like you took care of her because you was with her mama wtf.”

One fan sided with Fabolous and wrote, “I don’t blame him!!!! People be forgetting.”

The new single “Selfish Freestyle” dropped on Dec. 29.

His original post got love from several of Fab's rap friends such as Busta Rhymes , Jadakiss , Ludacris and more ... but Taina would hear none of it and proceeded to scold him for allegedly being an absent daddy-o these last couple of years.

Fabolous and Emily B , Tania and Journey's mother, ended their longtime relationship earlier this year after nearly four years of marriage ...but according to Taina's tea, he's just gaslighting the situation and only keeps up his relationship with her brothers because the male-bonding is perfect for manipulation.

She has two half-brothers, Johan, born February 16, 2008, and Jonas, born in 2015, and a half-sister Journey Isabella, born October 10, 2020, as a result of her mother's relationship with Fabolous.

The comment has since been removed from the platform.

The rapper has found himself in trouble before.

In 2018 he was accused of knocking Emily B's two front teeth out, after he discovered she was in Los Angeles without his knowledge.

Police reports stated he sent abusive text messages to his then girlfriend, and threatened to kill her with a baseball bat.

A video was released by TMZ that revealed Fabolous threatening his girlfriend and her father with what appeared to be a gun.

The rapper later went to the cops himself and was charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats.

A grand jury indicted him on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, one count of possession of a weapon and two counts of threatening to kill.

He avoided jail time by accepting a plea deal which meant he was required to attend a domestic violence prevention workshop for six months.

Introducing Journey Isabella Jackson! The daughter of Fabolous and Emily B made her debut on social media earlier today.

Emily B took to Instagram to not only announce her daughter’s name, but to also share a photo. She captioned, “Life is a journey.” The post immediately garnered thousands of likes and comments.

The Love and Hip Hop: New York (LHHNY) stars announced that they were expecting another child earlier this year. Some fans criticized the couple for choosing to expand their family because of previous allegations of domestic violence from Fabolous. Emily B, nevertheless, honored the father of her children with a heartfelt post on Father’s Day.

“One day isn’t enough to honor how phenomenal of a father you truly are because you are special every day,” Emily wrote to Fab . “Thank you for all that you do for our family,” she added. “I love you!”

Emily B and Fabolous’ newborn is the couple’s first daughter together. The couple also has two sons, J onas and Johan, together. Emily B has an adult daughter named Taina from a previous relationship as well.

American rapper and singer John David Jackson got a minor hit with 'Can't Deny It' straight away in 2001, identifying himself as a burgeoning East Coast rap sensation.

Who is Fabolous?

John David Jackson, mostly known by his stage name Fabolous, is an American singer and rapper born on 18 November 1977 in Brooklyn, New York. He went to Manhattan's High School of Art and Design and City-As-School Hugh School, and Boys and Girls High School in Bed-Stuy.

When Fabolous was in high school, he decided to pursue a career in music. DJ Clue, a producer and music executive who had a radio show on New York City's Hot 97 at the time, eventually noticed the young rapper. He invited him to rap on the show, which raised his profile even higher.

Fabolous' first album, Ghetto Fabolous , was released on 11 September 2001, the same day as the attack on the Twin Towers in New York City.

In 2003, he released 'Into You,' the second single released from his sophomore studio album, Street Dreams. The song was produced by Ken "Duro" Ifill and DJ Clue? and reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100. It reconstructs Tamia's 1998 song, 'So Into You,' which samples 1978's 'Say Yeah' by the Commodores. 

The following year, Fabolous released another of his popular songs, 'Breathe.' The music is known best for its titular metaphors, sing-along track, and overall New York vibe. In November 2004, it peaked at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

From Nothin' to Somethin' , his fourth studio album was released in June 2007. For the first time in Fabolous's career, it debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts. His long-awaited sixth studio album, The Young OG Project , debuted on the Billboard 200 after its release on Christmas Day in 2014.

While Fabolous doesn't have any Grammy wins, he has been nominated for it three times: in 2005 for 'Best Rap/Sung Collaboration,' in 2009 for 'Album of the Year,' and in 2010 for 'Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.'

Fabolous Hit Emily Bustamante, Seven Times In The Face

Fabolous is in an on-and-off relationship with American celebrity stylist and shoe designer  Emily Bustamante . The ex-couple met in 2002 and have two sons together, Johan and Jonas, and one daughter, born in 2020.

In 2020, while she was pregnant with her third child, Bustamante posted to her Instagram story, revealing a hospital bracelet with the caption "10/10," implying that she arrived at the hospital on Saturday night, 10 October.

Moreover, she posted a short video of her daughter, Tania Williams, from a previous relationship, holding the baby with the caption 'Sister.'

In 2018, Fabolous surrendered to authorities after an alleged domestic dispute with Bustamante. According to court documents obtained by NorthJersey.com , Fabolous hit Bustamante seven times in the face, causing her to lose two front teeth. It was also reported that Fabolous later threatened Bustamante's father and brother's lives.

According to TMZ , Fabolous was arrested for aggravated assault and terroristic threats before being cited and granted bail. The incident occurred in Los Angeles when Fabolous "became enraged" after discovering Bustamante was also on the West Coast through Instagram.

Bustamante later told police that she "feared for her life" following the incident and related texts. According to the report, she and Fabolous had a separate altercation that turned physical between 7 March and 28 March.

Fabolous and Bustamante have one daughter together, born on 10 October 2020. In addition, Fabolous also has a stepdaughter named Tania Williams from Bustamante's previous relationship.

Fashion's biggest night will go on without one of pop culture's biggest stars. ET has learned that Taylor Swift will not attend this year's Met Gala so that she can continue preparing for her Eras tour. 

The 2024 Met Gala will take place, as always, on the first Monday of May -- this year, on May 6 -- in New York City. The star-studded event -- helmed by  Vogue  editor-in-chief  Anna Wintour  -- will feature the theme Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion as a nod to fashion history.  The Metropolitan Museum of Art's exhibition theme -- curated and organized by The Costume Institute -- will feature 250 items from its permanent collection displayed in a new, innovative way.

Wintour has served as co-chair of the Met Gala since 1995, the year  Vogue 's partnership with the Met Gala began. This year's co-chairs also include  Jennifer Lopez ,  Zendaya ,  Chris Hemsworth  and  Bad Bunny .

Meanwhile, Swift is gearing up to resume her blockbuster Eras Tour on Thursday, May 9, in Paris, France, after dropping her record-shattering album, The Tortured Poets Department , last week. 

Swift recently released a collection of new behind-the-scenes videos from what appears to be recent tour rehearsals. The black-and-white clips are set to her current single, " Fortnight " featuring  Post Malone , as part of her ongoing #ForAFortnightChallenge on YouTube Shorts. 

Swifties wasted no time dissecting the images, taking note of what appears to be new props that could indicate the addition of  TTPD  songs to her already extensive setlist. 

In one shot, Swift appears to stand before a sign that looks quite similar to her  TTPD  logo. In another, her background dancers all wear top hats that have not been included in previous performances. 

Swift has attended the Met Gala a number of times since 2008. Most recently, she stunned in a futuristic Louis Vuitton look as she co-chaired the Manus x Machine: Fashion in an Age of Technology themed event in 2016. 

Before that, she had a princess moment in Oscar de la Renta for the 2014 Charles James: Beyond Fashion themed gala.

No word on whether Swift's boyfriend , Travis Kelce , plans to attend the high-profile event solo. The Kansas City Chiefs player -- who recently extended his contract to become the NFL's highest paid tight end -- has never attended the Met Gala in the past. His teammate, Patrick Mahomes , did make an appearance last year along with his wife, Brittany Mahomes . 

In February, the Met Gala announced that this year's dress code is The Garden of Time, which is inspired by J.G. Ballard's 1962 short story of the same title. According to  Vogue , "the most obvious interpretation would be to embrace the 'garden' part of 'The Garden of Time.' Think melancholic florals (as moody florals aren’t moody enough)."
