2023 TOUR Champions Tickets on Sale to General Public

FedExCup Playoffs finale returns to East Lake Golf Club, August 23-27

ATLANTA – Tournament officials announced today that Daily Grounds and upgraded Michelob ULTRA Athletic Club tickets are now on sale to the general public for the 2023 TOUR Championship. Serving as host of the culminating event of the FedExCup Playoffs and PGA TOUR season, the tournament will be held once again at historic East Lake Golf Club, August 23-27. Only the PGA TOUR’s 30 best players punch their ticket to the TOUR Championship and earn the right to compete for the FedExCup and the season-long title.

The launch of ticket sales for the TOUR Championship comes on the heels of the PGA TOUR’s new Netflix docuseries, “Full Swing,” which was unveiled on Feb. 15 and features East Lake Golf Club and the TOUR Championship in the show’s final episode. With this unprecedented access to the PGA TOUR and its players, fans will get to view behind-the-scenes footage of Rory McIlroy’s dramatic six-stroke final-round comeback over Scottie Scheffler to win his record third FedExCup title.

The 2023 TOUR Championship will also serve as the final opportunity of the year for fans to see the PGA TOUR’s best players compete against each other. Beginning in 2024, the PGA TOUR season will run from January-August, replacing the wraparound season model that ran from mid-September through the following August.

Daily Grounds

Daily Grounds tickets for the 2023 TOUR Championship start at $35 for Wednesday, $75 for Thursday, $80 for Friday, and $90 each for Saturday and Sunday plus taxes and fees. Tickets are dynamically priced, so fans are encouraged to purchase early to secure the lowest available price.

Daily Grounds tickets for the 2023 TOUR Championship grants you general grounds access, as well as entry to open-to-the-public spaces at the TOUR Championship.

The TOUR Championship is Atlanta’s must-attend outdoor sporting event of the summer, with something for every fan to enjoy. A Daily Grounds ticket offers unparalleled value with access to several unique, open-to-the-public venues throughout the golf course, including the Coca-Cola Fan Lounge and SO Cool Zone presented by Southern Company.

All Mastercard® cardholders can use their Mastercard to receive preferred pricing for the TOUR Championship while supplies last. Cardholders may purchase up to eight (8) Daily Grounds tickets per day.

For an upgraded experience, the Michelob ULTRA Athletic Club is an exclusive, open-air hospitality experience with covered stadium seating on a first-come, first-serve basis overlooking the 13th green. Once players complete the 13th hole, the Michelob ULTRA Athletic Club also provides a covered patio to watch as players tee off at the 14th hole. A full premium bar and upgraded menu offerings are available for purchase within the Michelob ULTRA Athletic Club along with upgraded restroom facilities. For convenient access to and from the Michelob ULTRA Athletic Club, the UBER Gate is located a few steps away near the 13th fairway. On a windy Thursday in San Antonio, Akshay Bhatia got hot, going out in 32 and coming home in 31 to post a first-round 63, good for a three-shot lead after 18 holes at the 2024 Valero Texas Open.

This is the final PGA Tour stop before the Masters, the final chance for those not already in the field at Augusta National Golf Club to punch their ticket. Bhatia is among those not yet qualified, so a win this week would come with a nice addition prize.

There are two golfers three back in a tie for second at 6 under, Justin Lower and Brendon Todd. Lower shot a 66 and held the lead after the morning wave. Todd started on the 10th hole and closed with four birdies on his last five holes.

Jordan Spieth, meanwhile, managed just a 1-over 73 but had the highlight of the day with an ace on the 16th hole .

The purse at the Valero is $9.2 million with $1.656 million going to the winner. The winner will also receive 500 FedEx Cup points.

Who's in the field, how to get tickets for annual Club Car Championship golf at The Landings

The picturesque Deer Creek Course at the Landings Golf & Athletic Club again will play host to the seventh annual Club Car Championship.

This week's event has become one of the marquee stops on the Korn Ferry Tour, a developmental tour where players compete to earn their way to the PGA Tour.

Past champions include Sam Burns, who won the title in 2018 and is now No. 21 in the Official World Golf Ranking. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, the betting favorite headed into the Masters Tournament next week, finished second behind Dan McCarthy in 2019 Club Car Championship.

Last year, David Skinns of England provided a great storyline as the 42-year-old University of Tennessee product won by a stroke, edging former Armstrong State star Shad Tuten and Tom Whitney for his third Korn Ferry Tour victory.

Wednesday, April 2: There will be an Opening Ceremony held on the 10th hole tee box at noon.

Thursday-Sunday, April 3-6: The action will get started at 9 a.m. each day for ticket holders.

Players to watch

There are 156 golfers in the field who will be competing to make the 36-hole cut on Friday and compete on the weekend. Three former Georgia Southern standouts are in the field.

• Ben Carr was the runner-up in the 2022 U.S. Amateur and earned spots in the 2023 Masters and U.S. Open tournaments. He is playing in on a sponsor's exemption and making his debut on the Korn Ferry Tour.
• Former Eagle star Steven Fisk, who has a school-record nine collegiate wins and finished second in the 2019 NCAA Tournament, will also be teeing it up.
• The pair will be joined by Mason Williams from the GS Class of 2023, who punched his ticket to the tournament by shooting a 63 in a Monday qualifier.
• Every player ranked inside the top 50 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List is in the field this week.
• Three past champions are in the field this week: T.J. Vogel (2022), Evan Harmeling (2020) and Dan McCarthy (2019).
• In addition to the three player from Georgia Southern, 12 players with collegiate ties in Georgia are in the field with eight from Georgia Tech (Shunyat Hak, Paul Haley II, Connor Howe, Chris Petefish, Seth Reeves, Ollie Schniederjans, Ross Steelman and Richy Werenski) and four from the University of Georgia (Erik Compton, Joey Garber, Trent Phillips and Spencer Ralston).

Other notables in the field include Mason Anderson and Kevin Velo, who are No. 1 and No. 2 among the Korn Ferry Tour money leaders. Anderson, the former Arizona State star, has won $233,483, while Velo, a former San Jose State standout, has pocketed $219,150.

Television coverage

The Golf Channel is set to broadcast the tournament, putting the spotlight on one of the top golf courses in the South. It is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets for the Club Car Championship can be purchased at  clubcarchampionshipattlc.com/tickets . Several ticket options are available. Daily tickets start at $10, and kids 17 and under receive free grounds access with a ticketed adult. In addition, the tournament offers free admission to all approved Active Duty, National Guard, Military Reserve Service Members, Military Retirees, Military Veterans and First Responders.
