This guide will teach you how to become a tour guide on Club Penguin Rewritten, so you can obtain a cool hat, postcard and more!

In order to be a Tour Guide, you must be  45 days  or older. To find out your penguin age, click the “?” button in the bottom right of your screen, the furthest right on the toolbar.

Firstly, head to the Ski Village. This can be done by opening your map and clicking the building which looks like the image above.

Next, click the “Tours” stand! From here a screen will appear. Click anywhere on the dark brown section at the bottom of the screen.

You will then be asked a series of questions, but don’t worry! This guide will contain the correct answers to all the questions which you will be asked. You will only be asked 8 questions from this list and they will not necessarily be in order.

Q:  Which of these games has a shark in it? A:  Jetpack Adventure

Q:  Which of these rooms does NOT have a game in it? A:  Beach

Q:  Which color of puffle can catch fire? A:  Black

Q:  What is the name of the big fish in Ice Fishing? A:  Mullet

Q:  What item is always hidden in a different place in the clothing catalog every month? A:  The Viking Helmet

Q:  How many coins does it cost to buy a player card background? A:  60

Q:  How do you get a pin? A:  Click on it

Q:  Which room has a cuckoo clock? A:  Ski Lodge

Q:  Which of these rooms doesn’t have music playing in the background? A:  Pet Shop

Q:  In what room can you find old copies of the Club Penguin Times? A:  Boiler Room

Q:  What is the name of Captain Rockhopper’s ship? A:  The Migrator

Q:  How does a pink puffle play? A:  Skips with a skipping rope

Q:  How many Sled Racing tracks are there? A:  4

Q: What item is thrown out of the truck in Level 4 of Bean Counters? A:  A flower pot

If you enter all the answers listed, you will be able to click “Receive the Tour Guide Hat” to officially become a tour guide!

Click “Yes” to receive the hat otherwise you will need to restart the process.

Lastly, you will receive a postcard and will now be an official Tour Guide on Club Penguin Rewritten! I hope that this guide helped, thank you for reading!

How To Become A Tour Guide On Club Penguin

In order to become a Tour Guide on Club Penguin your penguin must be at least 45 days old. If you are go the Ski Village.

You will see a booth marked “tours”. Click on it.

A popup will appear explaining what to do as a tour guide. If you want to become one click the bottom where it says “Would you like to become a tour guide yourself? Click here for more details!”

It will then ask you if you want to take the quiz. You need to answer at least 7 out of the 8 questions correctly. If you fail you can always take the test again.

The answers to all the questions it asks are:

• Which of these games has a shark in it? [Jetpack Adventure]
• Which room has a cuckoo clock? [Ski Lodge]
• Which of these rooms doesn’t have music playing in the back round? [Pet Shop]
• In what room can you find old copies of the Penguin times? [Boiler Room]

• What item is always hidden in different place in the clothing catalog every month? [The Viking helmet]
• Which of these rooms does NOT have a game in it? [Beach]
• How many coins does it cost to buy a player card background? [60]
• What day does the newspaper come out? [Friday]
• What is the name of the big fish in ice fishing? [Mullet]
• How do you get a pin? [Walk on top of it]

After that it’ll let you know if you passed. If you did, click Receive the Tour Guide Hat.

Congratulations! After that if you wear only the Tour Guide Hat and hit W on your keyboard on you will hold up a sign saying Tours Here. If you go to the safe chat messages, under activities click Give a Tour and your penguin will talk about the room you’re currently in!

How to be a Great Tour Guide was a book in Club Penguin found in the Ski Village . The book was a guide to 'how to be a great Tour Guide ' and consists of the primary factors of what you needed to do to get tours and make them as useful as possible (covering the main features of being a Tour Guide ).

Starting a tour [ ].

1. Put on only your Tour Guide Hat , which is your official uniform as a Tour Guide .

2. Go to the Ski Village .

3. While in the Village, have your penguin wave. Your penguin will hold up a TOURS HERE sign.

If there are penguins around here who want a tour, they will come over to you. Three to six penguins is a good tour size.

Going on Your Tour [ ]

1. Welcome everyone to your tour group, perhaps by sending them a postcard .

2. Visit lots of rooms, describing different things about those rooms as you go. Stay in each room for a little while, answering any questions that your tour group might have.

3. When you decide to finish your tour, thank everyone for joining you. Remind them to ask others for help if they need it.

Not sure what to say on your tour? No problem! Click on your Safe Chat menu, click Activities, then click Give a Tour. You will say a few pre-written sentences about the room that you are in.

There are also other good Safe Chat menu phrases, like "Follow me" and "Where do you want to go?". Feel free to use these to make tours easier.

Tips on Giving a Good Tour [ ]

1. Creating a good route is very important. Visit the most popular areas that lead into other rooms. Include the Town , The Beach , and The Plaza .

2. It's a good idea not to use your map when going on a tour. If you waddle from place to place, it will make it easier for your tour group to keep up.

3. Be friendly! A big part of your job is making newcomers feel welcome.

Becoming a Tour Guide:

To become a Tour Guide, your penguin must be 45 days old or older. If you go to the Ski Village (accessible on your map or spyphone), you will see a stand that has a sign that says Tours. Click on it, and click, ‘Would you like to become a tour guide yourself? Click here for details!’

Then, after reading the info, you must take a test. Some of the questions you may not know, so right them down and do some research. Here’s a hint: All of the answers can be found around Club Penguin! If you pass the test, you will earn a Tour Guide Hat. When you want to give a tour, put on your Tour Guide Hat (No other body items), and wave. You will be holding a sign that says, Tours Here. Then, when penguins come around to you, you can give them a tour by going into Messages on your CP toolbar. Then, simply hover over Activities and click Give a Tour. Your penguin will then talk about the room you are in. Don’t use your map while giving a tour, your penguins won’t know where you go. Also, When you click on the Tours stand  after you pass the test, you will see a book entitled, How to Be a Great Tour Guide. There are lots of handy hints in there! Check there for extra tips!

Test Answers:

Please note that the questions change each time, and that these are only some of the answers. However, these are the most common ones.

Giving a Tour:

First, take off all of your other clothes except for your Tour Guide Hat. Then wave so that you’re holding a sign that says, ‘Tours Here’, and penguins will crowd around you or say, “I want a tour!” When you have a good group of penguins, go around from room to room. When you enter a new room, click on the preset messages button on your CP toolbar. Then hover over Activities, then click Give a Tour. You will give a description of the room, and a little info about it. Note: Try not to use your map or Spy Phone, because then your tour group will get lost.

Getting Paid:

The first day of each month, a penguin will receive Penguin Mail postcards from  Club Penguin. They will say that you have gotten paid. 250 coins will be added to your inventory for being a Tour Guide.

Tour Guide Celebration!

The time has come to put your Club Penguin Journey knowledge at play!

From the 8th to the 13th of September we will be celebrating the brand new Tour Guide Update.

Face off the Quiz that will determine if you are ready to become a Tour Guide, an important role for those that are fit to help penguins around the island. To do so, your penguin must be at least 45 days old and have at least 45 stamps.
