11 Common Google Ads Login Issues

Google Ads is the most popular PPC platform used by SMBs. Almost 70 percent of SMBs use Google Ads, but this troubleshooting guide is for you if you’re having trouble logging into your account.

It can be frustrating when you can’t access your Google Ads account. We know. We’ve been there before. You might have forgotten your password, or maybe you didn’t know that you needed to add a new sign-in. Luckily, there are some easy ways to fix these problems.

password incorrect

1. Forgotten Username and Password

You can also recover your username, email address, or password by logging into the website where you made your account. It is very common to forget your username, email address, or password. The good news is that you can usually recover it very quickly.

When you receive an email from Google asking you to confirm that you own an account, you must follow the instructions that come with the email. The process can be tricky, and it’s easy to make a mistake.

If you forget your password, there are a few options available. The most common is to request a replacement or reset with your designated recovery method. You can also request a temporary password reset for 30 days. This will allow you to access your account until your password is changed.

2. Deleted Google Accounts

Sometimes accidents happen. When they do, it’s important to get the account back up and running as quickly as possible.

If you’ve accidentally deleted your Google account, it’s crucial to understand that account recovery options may be limited. Contact Google support immediately and provide them with all relevant details. They may be able to assist you in recovering your deleted account. In the future, regularly backup your Google Ads data to prevent data loss due to account deletion.

3. Password and Username Do Not Match

There are several ways to fix these errors. The first thing to try is simply entering the username and password again. If that doesn’t work, you may need to clear your browser cookies and try again. If you are still unable to log in, you can call Google and ask for help.

It is important to double-check your text formatting before re-entering your password and email address in the form. Suppose you also use your account credentials for Google Ads to access other Google products, like Gmail. In that case, updating those credentials (and entering the old ones in Google Ads) can also cause a password and/or username error. That’s because your Google Account uses the same credentials to access all Google products.

It’s easy to make a simple mistake when you are trying to set up a new email account or password. Make sure you check for capitalization, spacing, and spelling before hitting send.

4. Verify Username and Password

If you’re using the same username and password that you used to sign up for your Google Ads account, you’ll need to verify your email address. You can do this by clicking on the link in the verification email that was sent to your inbox. Verify your email address and then follow the instructions that were included in the email.

  • Log in to Google Ads.
  • Click on the Settings tab at the top right corner of the page.
  • Go to Account Settings and select Verification.
  • Enter your email address and click on the Verify button.

5. Getting an Error Message “Click Here to Continue.”

It’s important to note that you need to have a Google account when you’re using the Google Ads platform. If you don’t have one, click here to create one.

You can try several solutions to fix this Google Ads error, including using a different browser and updating your browser settings. If you’re using Internet Explorer, you can try one of these fixes:

Try the following:

  • Open the Click here to continue the link in a new window.
  • Close the current browser and open a new browser.
  • Go to your browser’s help section and check for any updates.

Just right-click the link and select “Open in New Window.” This will allow you to see the site in a new tab or window. If you want to change your Internet Explorer settings, you can click here. Change or reset Internet Explorer settings (microsoft.com)

6. Google Account is Not a Valid Google Ads Account

This problem occurs because you have a new Google Ads account, and your old one is still linked to your old Google Account. To fix this issue, you need to remove your old Google Ads account from your Google Account and then add your new Google Ads account to your Google Account.

If you have previously been logged into Google Ads with your Google Account, you may be asked to update your login information. When you are finished updating your information, log back in with your Google Account.

7. Migrated Google Ads Data and Can’t Log In

If you are having trouble logging in to Google Ads after migrating your data, try the following:

  • Make sure you are using the correct account.
  • Make sure you are using the correct password.
  • Make sure you have access to the account.

If you have a problem with your data, log in with the credentials of the account that accepted the migration. It is possible that you may need to do this if you have two or more accounts and you want to move your data to a single account.

8. Error Message, “Google ads can’t complete your request right now …”

A problem with your Internet connection may cause the issue. You may need to try again later or restart your computer. If that doesn’t work, contact the company that hosts your website.

If you’re having trouble logging into your Google Ads account, you can also try logging in from a different computer.

It’s not always the fault of the website, so it’s important to rule out any problems with your browser or device. For example, if you’re using Chrome on Windows, try switching to Firefox or Safari.

9. Google Ads Account Has Been Disabled or Suspended

Account suspension can be a major source of frustration for advertisers. It occurs when Google Ads detects policy violations or unusual account activity, which can lead to temporary or permanent suspension. This might happen for various reasons, including non-compliance with Google’s advertising policies, suspicious payment activity, or repeated violations of their terms of service.

If you find your Google Ads account suspended, it’s crucial to address the issue promptly. Here’s what you should do:

  • Review the Suspension Notification: Start by thoroughly reviewing the suspension notification sent to your registered email address. It should contain information about the specific policy violations or reasons for suspension.
  • Correct Policy Violations: If the suspension is due to policy violations, make the necessary changes to your ad campaigns or website to ensure compliance with Google’s advertising policies. This may involve editing ad content, landing pages, or addressing any other issues pointed out in the notification.
  • Contact Google Ads Support: Once you’ve addressed the policy violations and believe your account is now in compliance, reach out to Google Ads support. You can do this by clicking the “Contact Us” link within the suspension notification or by visiting the Google Ads Help Center. Explain the actions you’ve taken to resolve the issues and request a review of your account.

Block pop-up ads and windows in Safari

Learn how to block pop-up windows and handle persistent ads on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Pop-ups can be ads, notices, offers, or alerts that open in your current browser window, in a new window, or in another tab. Some pop-ups are third-party ads that use phishing tactics such as warnings or prizes to trick you into believing they’re from Apple or another trusted company, so that you’ll share personal or financial information. Or they might claim to offer free downloads, software updates, or plug-ins to try to trick you into installing unwanted software.

Use these tips to help manage pop-ups and other unwanted interruptions.

Avoid interacting with pop-ups

Unless you’re confident that they are a legitimate ad, avoid interacting with pop-ups or webpages that seem to take over your screen.

If you see an annoying pop-up ad in Safari, you can go to the Search field and enter a new URL or search term to browse to a new site. If you don’t see the Search field on your iPhone or iPad, tap the top of the screen to make it appear.

Some pop-ups and ads have fake buttons that resemble a close button, so use caution if you try to close a pop-up or ad. If you're not sure, avoid interacting with it and close the Safari window or tab.

On your Mac, you can quit Safari, then press and hold the Shift key while opening Safari. This prevents Safari from automatically reopening any windows or tabs that were open.

Update your software

Always install the latest software updates for all of your Apple products. Many software releases have important security updates and may include improvements that help control pop-ups.

The safest way to download apps for your Mac is from the App Store. If you need software that isn’t available from the App Store, get it directly from the developer or another reliable source, rather than through an ad or link.

Check Safari settings

On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Safari.

Turn on Block Pop-ups.

Turn on Fraudulent Website Warning.

On your Mac, open Safari and choose Safari > Settings (or Preferences) from the menu bar.

In the Websites tab , you can configure options to allow or block some or all pop-ups .

In the Security tab , turn on the setting to warn when visiting a fraudulent website.

If adware or other unwanted software is installed on Mac

If you see pop-ups on your Mac that just won’t go away, you might have unintentionally downloaded and installed adware (advertising-supported software) or other unwanted software. Certain third-party download sites might include software that you don’t want along with the software that you do.

If you think that you might have malware or adware on your Mac:

Update to the latest version of macOS. If your Mac is already using the latest version, restart your Mac. macOS includes a built-in tool that removes known malware when restarting.

Check your Applications folder to see if you have any apps that you don't expect. You can uninstall those apps .

Check the Extensions tab in Safari settings to see if you installed any unnecessary extensions. You can turn extensions off .

If you continue to see advertising or other unwanted programs on your Mac, contact Apple.

Top 8 Ways to Fix Safari Can’t Find Server Issue

Apple is opening the doors for third-party web browsers on the iPhone. Starting with iOS 14, one can set Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox as the iPhone’s default browser . However, the studies have shown that the majority mostly sticks with the default apps and services on the device. In that context, we can assume that the Safari browser will continue to lead over the rivals on the iPhone.

Safari cant find server issue

While Safari does offer speed, customization, and security options, it’s not free of issues either. One of the common ones is where Safari fails to find servers and unable to load webpages. It can be quite irritating as the behavior breaks your workflow and leaves you scratching head.

  • Make sure your iPhone is connected to strong Wi-Fi.

2. Make Sure You Type the Right URL

Normally, we consume articles and posts using social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. But if you are still old school and typing full web URL manually, you need to double-check the URL. Even one letter mistake is enough to send your web query to the nowhere land.

Safari offers a native ad-blocking solution on the iPhone. You can download and integrate ad-blockers with the Safari browser and enjoy a distract-free reading experience. However, publishers aren’t fans of the current trend as it hampers their earnings.

As a result, many publishers have implemented a filter to detect the ad-blocker on the reader’s device, and if they find one, you won’t be able to browse their content.

You can follow the steps below and disable the content blocker on the iPhone.

Step 1: Open the Settings app on the iPhone.

Turn off content blocker

Step 2: Navigate to Safari > Content Blocker and turn off the service for the Safari browser.

5. Modify DNS Settings

One of the prime reasons you are getting a ‘Safari can’t find server’ issue is an unreliable DNS server to load a web page. DNS is a domain name system that is used in the loading webpage on the internet. Most prefer the Google DNS server, which is more reliable and efficient to use. To check and modify the DNS server, follow the below simple steps on your iPhone.

Step 2: Move to the Wi-Fi option. After that, click on the icon that is next to the Wi-Fi name.

Step 3: Thereafter, click on the Configure DNS. If it is Automatic, change it to the Manual. From the Add Server option, add the Google DNS server either 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.

Step 4: Don’t forget to tap Save to save the changes.

6. Restart iPhone

Many common iPhone issues get solved by just restarting the device. The trick differs based on the iPhone model you have.

For iPhone 8 and earlier, press and hold the side or top button till you see the slider.

For iPhone X to iPhone 12, press and hold the side button and either volume button until the slider appears.

Turn on the device and check if Safari connects to the server.

7. Reset Network Settings

When you reset network settings, all the Wi-Fi passwords will be removed, and the DNS settings will be reset. The network settings will be reset to factory defaults.

Step 1: Go to Settings > General > Reset.

Reset network settings

Step 2: Tap Reset Network Settings. A dialog box will appear asking for your confirmation. Again tap Reset Network Settings.

8. Update iPhone

Safari can’t find a server issue could be a result of a recent bug in the iOS software. Thankfully, Apple is quick to resolve critical issues. A new software update might be waiting to get installed on your device.

Is Google Search Not Loading on Safari? Here’s the Fix

Google Search Not Working on Safari

Safari is the default web browser for MacBook and iOS, running on Apple’s WebKit engine. Safari browser is smooth. loads the page quickly and comes with some cool customization features. Though the browser is pretty stable and works without any issues, but still some of the users may face issues while trying to access Google Search on Safari. Either the Google Search keeps loading or is not able to open.

There may be several reasons why Google search may not work on the Safari browser on your Macbook, but the most common is the issue with DNS servers or Browser cache. Today in this post, I will talk about some of the best solutions to fix Google search not loading in Safari for Mac.

1. Change DNS Address

DNS is like a directory of IP addresses that are retrieved when a browser requests one. The MacBook sets a predefined DNS taken from the ISP. This DNS can sometimes not be able to connect with certain IPs temporarily. Just change the DNS to Google DNS servers and fix the Google Search not loading issue.

System Preferences

  • Here click on the  DNS  tab.
  • Click on the plus icon and change the DNS servers to Google DNS, and hit  OK .
  • Use the following Google DNS server. 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 2001:4860:4860::8888 2001:4860:4860::8844

Change DNS

Once done, restart the browser and check if the Google Search loading issue is fixed.

2. Clear Safari Cache

The cache is a set of data that stores the site’s data and other web information. If cache build-up occurs, some sites may not load; thus, deleting the Cache will fix the Safari browser error.

  • Open Safari and click Safari in the menu bar

Safari Preferences...

  • Here click on  Advanced Tab

Advanced_Tab_Develop

  • Now click on  Develop  in the menu bar

Empty_Cache_Develop

3. Change TCP/IP4 on Mac

TCP helps establish network conversations through which application programs can exchange data. A wrong IP4/TCP can cause connection issues on Safari; the settings below can help you fix the problem.

  • Open  System Preferences
  • Open the Network  option in the preferences
  • Click the  Advanced  option from the  WiFi connection  tab.
  • Under  TCP/IP ,

Use_DHCP

  • Click  Renew DHCP Lease  and hit OK.

That’s it with this Simple Guide; you can fix Google Search not working on MacBook PC.

I had the same issue, for example the “Shop on Google” links that take you to product suggestions at various retailers.

I solved it by adding to the whitelist:

Settings -> Content Blockers -> Advanced Settings -> Whitelist -> +

an entry for:

www.googleadservices.com

This got me about 90% success.  Most opened OK, whther it was a link to a retailer’s website or would redirect to their app (sich as opening the HomeDepot or Amazon app to the product page).  There are still some suggested products that give me the “Hmm...” error, not sure why, but its rare enough.

Do you want to turn off Google ads? Internet ads can be incredibly annoying and invasive. While you can't turn off or stop getting most ads online, you can block them using your web browser's built-in ad blocker or by using a third-party extension. If you are worried about privacy, you can disable personalized ads. If there's a specific ad you don't want to see, you can tell Google Ads to not show you that ad anymore. This wikiHow will show you how to turn off Google ads in your web browser.

Things You Should Know

  • Google Chrome has a built-in ad blocker that can block the most intrusive ads under "Settings" > "Privacy & Security" > "Site Settings" > "Intrusive Ads."
  • You can also use a browser extension, such as AdBlock to block ads on most browsers. There are also mobile apps you can use to block ads.
  • You can also turn off personalized ads on your Google account or tell Google Ads to stop showing you specific ads.

Using Google Chrome on PC

Step 1 Open Chrome icon.

Using Google Chrome on Android

Step 1 Open Google chrome icon.

  • This won't block all ads, but it will block the most intrusive ads.

Using Google Chrome on iPhone or iPad

Step 1 Open Google chrome icon.

Installing the AdBlock Browser Extension

Step 1 Open the AdBlock extension page for your web browser.

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari for Mac

Step 2 Click Add to Chrome, Add to Firefox, or Get.

  • You may see a pop-up asking you to contribute. You can close out of this window. You are not required to pay anything. This is entirely voluntary.

How to clear the cache on your iPhone (and why you should)

How many tabs are open on your mobile browser right now? Go ahead, check -- you might be surprised by what you find.

Americans spend over five hours a day on their smartphones. That's over five hours of your phone potentially accessing, retrieving, and saving cache and cookies, which can negatively impact your iPhone's storage space .

What is cache?

Cache is the temporary storage of some data, like parts of a website from the last time you visited it, for example. Browser cache is content from a website that is stored on your phone during a browser session to help the browser execute faster the next time you visit that page.

Also:  How to clear Google search cache on Android

Cache data can slow down your phone's overall browsing performance, however, since it takes up storage space on your device, so it's good to clear it out regularly. In this article, we mainly focus on clearing web browser cache on an iPhone, but you should know that other types of cache include mobile app cache and CPU cache.

How to clear cache on iPhone

What you'll need: Everything you need to clear your browser cache is within the iPhone's settings app or the Safari app, so grab your iPhone to get started.

Keep in mind that clearing the cache can clear private data, which can close all open tabs in Safari. This is also likely to log you out of all your websites, prompting you to sign in again the next time you open them.

How do I clear the cache from Chrome on iPhone?

If Google Chrome is your preferred browser, it may have a substantial amount of data stored on your device, which could also slow down performance.

To clear the cache in Chrome, open the Google Chrome app and follow these steps:

  • Tap  Settings .
  • Go to  Privacy and Security .
  • Select  Clear Browsing Data .
  • Select the time from which to delete the data (if you want to delete all your browsing history, choose All Time ).
  • Go through the items you'd like to delete, like your Browsing History, Cookies and Site Data, Cached Images and Files, Saved Passwords , and Autofill Data.
  • Confirm by tapping  Clear Browsing Data  at the bottom of the screen.
  • Tap Done when you've deleted the Chrome cache.

Also: Apple releases iOS 17.4 with podcast transcripts, new emojis, and EU app store changes

Clearing the browsing and cache data in Google Chrome doesn't close all open tabs, but it will refresh each tab and log you out of websites. Once you tap on one of the tabs you want to access, you'll have to log back in.

How can I browse on Safari without history?

If you're learning how to clear cache on an iPhone, you may also be wondering if there's a way to use Safari without saving any browsing history. You can turn on Private Browsing by following these steps:

  • Open  Safari .
  • Tap on  Tabs .
  • Choose Private .

You can also enable private browsing by going to your iPhone Settings, finding Safari, and toggling on the private option.

How do I clear my app cache on my iPhone?

To clear the app cache from your iPhone Settings app, you can either delete the app and reinstall it, offload it, or try to clear the cache from within the app. Unfortunately, iOS apps don't have consistent settings across the board that would allow you to clear the cache of every app.

Also: Apple warns: Don't put your wet iPhone in rice. Do this instead

Apps like TikTok and CapCut, for example, have options to Clear Cache within their respective settings. Amazon lets users delete their browsing history, while the Reddit app can clear local history. It all depends on what the app's settings let you do.

Is "clear cache" the same as offloading?

Not exactly, though app offloading can help if your phone is slowed down by low storage. To offload an app  means to uninstall an app without deleting any documents or data associated with it.

Also: Apple secures iMessage against threats from the future

To offload an app, go to  Settings , then  General , choose  iPhone Storage  and select the app to offload, then tap  Offload App . If you ever download it again, you'll pick up where you left off for that app.

Are cookies and cache the same thing?

Cookies and cache are not the same. Cookies are data files that websites send to your phone, including things like saved passwords to keep you logged into an account or even the website preferences from the previous time you visited.

Also: I tested the best Mint alternatives, and this is my new favorite money app

Though they do sound harmless, cookies can also track how you browse the internet. They monitor patterns in your browsing and search history, even seeing what you clicked on or what your mouse hovered over. Ever made an innocuous search on Amazon only to find ads for it on all the apps you use? Cookies likely made that possible.

Can I block cookies on my iPhone?

While you can block cookies on Safari, the ranks are divided on whether you should. Blocking cookies entirely means that websites won't be able to get information from you, but it also means that some websites may not even work correctly on your browser. A lot of users actually enjoy a more personalized browsing experience, so cookies are a good thing for them.

If you'd like to block cookies in Safari, follow these steps:

  • Go to  Settings  and select  Safari .
  • Tap on the toggle next to  Block All Cookies .

There are also third-party extensions that help you block cookies and trackers in Google Chrome, like Ghostery and Disconnect .

How do I check iPhone storage?

On an iPhone, Settings can show you what's taking up most of your media storage, like photos, videos, and music. You can also see what each particular app's storage consumption is, which includes temporary data. To view the details of your iPhone's storage space, follow these steps:

  • Go to the iPhone Settings .
  • Tap on General .
  • Select iPhone Storage .
  • Scroll through to find the app you're looking for.
  • Tap on the app to view storage status and options.

Unfortunately, you can't clear your iPhone cache for third-party apps by going into your Settings app, but this gives you a visual of your iPhone's storage and the option to delete or offload apps.

Also: Here's the fastest way to declutter your iPhone and free up Gigabytes of space

When you look at your device's storage space, you'll probably see recommended steps you can take to optimize your iPhone's storage, like offloading unused apps.

How to fix Google Ads Search campaign not running or low traffic

Image of YouTube settings icon

Occasionally, you may find that your Search campaigns are not serving as many impressions as you would expect, or are not spending much of your set daily budget. In this article, we’ll outline common reasons why your ads may not be serving, and how you can troubleshoot using the tools in Google Ads.

Before you begin

What to expect when a campaign is enabled.

If you recently enabled your Search campaign, it can take some time for your campaign to start serving impressions. There are a few reasons for this:

It takes 24-48 hours for newly created or edited ads to be reviewed to ensure they meet all policy requirements . For campaigns using automated bidding strategies , there may be performance fluctuations or changes in spend as Google Ads learns to optimize towards your set goal. It may take Google Ads some time to adjust serving if you make changes to your campaign settings.

Go to the Campaigns page in your Google Ads account

Using the Ad preview tool

The Ad Preview Tool and Diagnosis tool helps you identify why a specific search term may not be serving. Note that the search results returned by this tool may change over time.

Recommendations

Recommendations help highlight opportunities to improve performance when your Search campaign is not running or is getting low traffic. For example, you can look out for the following example recommendation types when troubleshooting these issues.

Common recommendation types to fix campaigns not running:

Campaign hasn’t started or has ended Create or unpause an ad group Account budget exhausted All ads disapproved Add or unpause keywords

Common recommendation types to fix low traffic:

Adjust your CPA targets Adjust your budgets

Go to the Recommendations page in your Google Ads account

Use diagnostic insights to identify why your campaign isn't serving

Diagnostic insights highlight issues that may be limiting your campaign’s ability to serve. Diagnostic insights also provide recommendations on how to resolve these issues. Learn more About diagnostic insights .

Example: An advertiser hasn’t gained any conversions or traffic after creating a campaign. They use diagnostic insights to discover that their campaign isn’t serving because their assets are disapproved, and views a recommendation to fix these disapproved assets.

11 common reasons why your Search ads are not running or are getting low traffic

1. account issues.

Learn more about Ad groups, assets, or ads are not active or have policy issues .

4. Low bid targets and optimization goals

While it may be possible to serve ads with a very low bid, your campaign is not likely to enter or win as many auctions and your ads may not have any impressions.

Learn more about Low bid targets and optimization goals .

5. Low budget

When you have a low budget, your ads may not serve as often while Google Ads ensures your campaign doesn't spend more than your spending limit .

Learn more about Low budget .

6. Targeting is too narrow

While targeting settings help you find the right set of users most interested in your business, each time you add targeting or if you have issues with your remarketing lists, you narrow the potential reach of your ads.

Learn more about Targeting is too narrow .

7. Targeting overlaps with other campaigns or ad groups

You may have multiple campaigns or ad groups in your account that are eligible to enter overlapping auctions due to similar keywords or other targeting.

Learn more about Targeting overlaps with other campaigns or ad groups .

8. Lost impression share

Impression share data , specifically Lost Search IS (ad rank), can help you identify the percentage of time that your ads weren't shown on the Search Network due to ad rank in the auction.

9. Conversion tracking

If your campaign is using Automated bidding to optimize towards conversions, but is not getting sufficient conversion data or your conversion tracking is not set up correctly, your ad may have limited serving.

how to watch fallout online streaming

“ Fallout ” is stepping out of the vault earlier than originally planned.

Prime Video has announced that “Fallout,” adapted from the retro-futuristic video game franchise of the same name, will premiere all eight episodes on April 10 at 6 p.m. PT. The special release includes a live global fan premiere of the first episode, where viewers worldwide can choose their faction and interact with other fans via a live chat function.

Popular on Variety

This is the second update Prime Video has made to the series’ release strategy: “Fallout” was set to drop all eight episodes on April 11, one day earlier than its original April 12 premiere.

MacLachlan, who plays Vault 33 overseer Hank McLean, told Variety of the “Fallout” series adaptation, “The people that play the video games that are real fans are both excited and somewhat hesitant, I think, because they’ve been burned before. But as we’ve been progressively getting into more press about it, as more of the teasers have come out, I find that the tone is shifting from one of ‘Oh, I hope I don’t mess it up’ to one of ‘Oh, I’m so excited. I think this looks pretty great.’”

how to fix googleadservice.com issue?

I am unable to open any links via ads services from my Safari on my iPhone 12 pro max. When I click the link or pictures, it takes me to googleadservice.com with error message "safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server." I wouldn't find any useful solutions from other posts.

I did below with negative result:

  • clear Safari history, data, remove cookies, cache, and other data
  • turn off/back on my phone I also did
  • reset all setting
  • reset network setting
  • I don't have any security software on my phone

Only thing I didn't do is factory reset.

I saw many iPhone users experience same issue but no one has good solution right now. Please help me to fix it if you know how.
