2023 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas: Gorgeous Cars, Grand Events

Car aficionados will once again flock to Wynn this fall when the award-winning resort hosts the event that’s quickly gained popularity among lovers of fine automobiles: Concours at Wynn Las Vegas , set for November 10-12, 2023.

This is the second year the resort is hosting a Concours weekend on the pristine greens of Wynn Golf Club, a truly picturesque backdrop for historic and modern examples of exceptional automotive design. The inaugural event in October 2022 was roundly agreed to be a huge success, with attendees equally thrilled with the stunning cars on exhibition and the elegant events planned and hosted by Wynn Las Vegas. From delicious food and beverage offerings situated amid the club’s fairways to room and event packages to suit every guest’s preferences, Concours at Wynn enjoyed a much-lauded kick-off that ensured its return for years to come.

Indeed, look for expanded offerings this November, notably during the Concours d’Elegance exhibition on Saturday, November 11. The centerpiece event of the weekend, this juried display will showcase more than 250 examples of pre- and post-war automobiles vying for a variety of coveted award categories, culminating in the top prize of “Best of Show.” Two prizes also have been added to this year’s exhibition: “Most Fashionable” and “Spirit of Wynn,” open to any car that doesn’t capture “Best of Show.”

Adjacent to this juried exhibition, attendees also will enjoy a display that’s likewise grown this year. Alongside a selection of elite Hypercars from acclaimed brands including Bugatti, McLaren and Koenigsegg, organizers this year also are including the latest in Electric vehicles, as well as a display of Concept and  Culture cars, ranging from limited-edition autos that exemplify forward-thinking design to famous cars associated with cultural figures or recognized for their appearances in film, television and music.

With this year’s Concours at Wynn taking place the weekend prior to the high-wattage F1 Race Week in Las Vegas, the selection of the event emcee was a natural: Justin Bell, the world-champion British racing driver who has emerged as one of today’s most popular hosts of automotive programming. Bell will welcome attendees to Saturday’s Concours d’Elegance and trophy presentation before leading as grand marshal of the event that caps the weekend:  the Tour d’Elegance, a stunning morning parade of vehicles along Las Vegas Boulevard on Sunday, November 12.

Attendees also can look forward to thoughtfully designed food and beverage experiences, from the Hosted Bar package to the delectable Chairman’s VIP, which will combine an open bar with a variety of savory and sweet chef’s stations positioned under Wynn’s open-air Event Pavilion. The band that brought the world “Sympathy For The Devil” is headed to Sin City.

On Saturday, May 11, the Rolling Stones are dropping into Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium with special guest The Pretty Reckless.

This concert will be the third official stop on the Stones’ ”24 Hackney Diamonds Tour.’ At the first two gigs, the Rock Hall of Famers have played a mix of classic hits like “Start Me Up,” “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “Miss You,” “Gimme Shelter” and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” along with a handful of cuts from their 2023 album “Hackney Diamonds,” according to Set List FM .

And if the band’s Instagram is any indication, the shows look like a blast.

The Rolling Stones new music

On Oct. 20, the Stones released their 26th American studio album,  “Hackney Diamonds,”  featuring special guests Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder.

Comprised of 12 hard-rocking tracks that wouldn’t be out of place alongside their singalong stadium anthems of yore, “Diamonds” shows that Mick, Keith, and Ronnie still have their sticky fingers on rock and roll’s pulse.

“We wouldn’t have put this album out if we didn’t really like it,” Jagger, 80, told Jimmy Fallon. “We must say that we are quite pleased with it. We’re not big-headed but we hope you like it.”

Their longtime drummer Charlie Watts passed away in August 2021.

The Stones will be joined by frontwoman Taylor Momsen’s band in The Entertainment Capital of the World.

Formed in 2009, the hard rockin’ group is known for megahits like “Heaven Knows” and “Make Me Wanna Die.”

Why Travis Kelce missed Taylor Swift’s revamped Eras Tour return in Paris

Travis Kelce was a no-show at Taylor Swift’s revamped Eras Tour concert in Paris because he was busy filming a TV series.

Niecy Nash shared a video of Kelce on the set of Ryan Murphy’s forthcoming FX horror drama “Grotesquerie” on her Instagram Story Thursday.

“Look who’s getting ready for his close-up,” the actress said while filming the Kansas City Chiefs tight end sitting in a makeup chair.

“Who, me?” Kelce, 34, replied with a grin as crew members powdered his face.

“Are you ready?” Nash, 54, captioned the clip, tagging the athlete’s Instagram handle.

Kelce wore a black long-sleeve sweater, black pants and brown boots as he got ready to film in Los Angeles. He accessorized with a gold medallion necklace.

The behind-the-scenes glimpse explained the three-time Super Bowl champion’s absence from his girlfriend’s performance in the City of Light that evening.

Swift, also 34, resumed her blockbuster world tour at Paris La Défense Arena after taking a two-month break from the road.

Kelce was clearly missed by the pop star, who gave him a subtle shout-out during her show by doing his favorite “Swag Surfin'” dance move while singing her song “So High School,” which is believed to be about the NFL star .

“It’s true, scout’s honor / You knew what you wanted, and, boy, you got her,” she sang while doing her choreography.

Kelce still cheered on Swift from across the globe by commenting on her guitarist’s Instagram post about the concert, which added songs from her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” to its setlist .

“LFG!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻,” the football player wrote, using the acronym for “let’s f–king go.”

Kelce has turned up to several of Swift’s performances when his schedule allows, though it has become less flexible amid his rising Hollywood career.

Since making his relationship with Swift public in September 2023, the “New Heights” podcast co-host has taken on several new jobs, including hosting Amazon Prime Video’s “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?”

Swift has also made sure to show her support for Kelce’s football career, as she was a constant staple at his Chiefs games throughout the 2023-2024 NFL season.

Most famously, the “Fortnight” singer flew from her concert in Tokyo to Las Vegas to see Kansas City defeat the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl in February.
