You may have heard of Yoga with Adriene . It’s a YouTube channel with over 10 million followers led by quirky, lovable yoga powerhouse Adriene Mishler. If you’ve heard of Adriene, then you’ll definitely know about the 30 Days of Yoga with Adriene challenges. They’re guided video practices released daily in January each year. These series are available for free on YouTube, and contain 30 (or 31) videos at 15-45 minutes in length. If you sign up on the website , you’ll also receive a daily message to supplement the practice of the day. Beginning in January 2015, Adriene released 30 Days of Yoga , 30 Days of Yoga Camp , and Yoga Revolution . I personally found that each one is unique, fun, and invigorating in its own way.

Just beginning your yoga journey? Check out my tips for starting an at-home practice here !

Looking for an update? Click here for my review of TRUE (2018), here for Dedicate (2019), here for HOME (2020), and here for Breath (2021) and Move (2022)!

Why a 30 day experience? While it’s awesome to practice yoga wherever and whenever it fits into your life, a daily practice provides great structure for growth. This was true for me physically, mentally, and emotionally. Adriene gets into some of this in the intro video for her first series, 30 Days of Yoga.

So what if you’ve just found out about Yoga with Adriene, and want to begin a month-long yoga journey? Should you choose 30 Days of Yoga (2015), Yoga Camp (2016), or Yoga Revolution (2017)?

Naturally, I (and Adriene, I’m sure) would recommend all three — probably in chronological order. But perhaps you’re looking for a particular type of yoga challenge. If that’s the case, I want to provide you with some context and insight to help you choose, based on my own experiences with these three 30 Days of Yoga with Adriene series.

If You’re New to Yoga

My recommendation for newcomers would be the original 30 Days of Yoga . Adriene’s guidance is very clear and informative in this series — but don’t worry, there’s lots of fun and silliness along the way. There’s also a natural progression of difficulty throughout the series. As a relative newbie myself, I found the earlier videos helped me build strength and mindfulness to prepare me for the rest of the series.

If You’re Looking for a Physical Challenge

Is yoga your workout of choice? Awesome! I’d recommend Yoga Camp . I found this series to be the most physically demanding of the three. Like the first challenge, this sequel series provides a ramp up to the more challenging videos. Adriene provides opportunities to practice new, more difficult poses, but also offers modifications as you work towards them. Props like yoga blocks or straps are always optional in Adriene’s videos, but I’ve found that they’re a great, inexpensive way to work on a new pose without throwing off your alignment.

If You’re Seeking a Journey of Self-Love

Committing to any yoga experience is an act of self-love, but if your ultimate goal is an emotional experience, then Yoga Revolution is for you. This series is the embodiment of Yoga With Adriene’s slogan/mantra, “Find What Feels Good”. The focus is much more on mindfulness, positivity, and “tapping into your inner smile” than the other two 30 Days of Yoga with Adriene experiences.

If You Want a Consistent Practice

Maybe you’re having trouble sticking to your New Year’s Resolutions or other lifestyle goals. If you’re looking to make yoga a daily ritual to carry you into the rest of the year, I’d suggest starting out with 30 Days of Yoga . I found this series to be the most consistent in terms of style and length. The day-to-day cadence of difficulty and focus was also more predictable in this series. This made it easier to fit yoga into my daily schedule. And after these particular 30 days of yoga with Adriene, I felt the most prepared to continue my home practice without YouTube video guidance.

If You’re Looking for Something New

After practicing for a while in a highly structured public yoga class (or the same old YouTube videos), things can start to get stale. Yoga Camp and Yoga Revolution will help you step out of your yoga comfort zone, in slightly different ways. Yoga Camp focuses on the link between mind and body, using mantras to channel energy and breath throughout both gentle and challenging sequences. I found Yoga Revolution to be a bit more instructive, as Adriene discussed alignment, energy, and chakras, for example, throughout the series. Both experiences incorporate a bit of Kundalini Yoga as well, which was new for me, and might be new for you.

I hope these considerations help you Find What Feels Good — whether that’s 30 Days of Yoga , Yoga Camp , or Yoga Revolution ! Let me know which one(s) you choose!

It can be hard to slow down in the midst of crazy schedules, memory overload, and the stress and anxiety of everyday responsibilities. But I’ve found that committing to 30 days of Yoga with Adriene (at a time) helps me to create that consistent space in my day to tend to my mind and body. As a Life Organization Coach, I also help my clients build that consistency into their routines as they get organized across many aspects of their lives. Pleeeaase update this post to include the more recent 30 Days series! Just finished the first one and will just go onto the 2016 one (camp? Whatever is next) but I’m curious about how you’d compare the later ones.

Thanks for the feedback Michele! I will have to complete the challenges before I review them 😉 I’ll do my best!

I’ve just finished my review of Dedicate, Michele! Thanks for following along! xx

' src=

Thanks Michelle. This was helpful as I was searching for a 30 day series that was more physically challenging

Yes, an update would be cool ! I’m just finishing “HOME” which was perfect for me, and I’ve made “30 DAYS” a long time ago. I’m wondering which program would fit for me next…. … YOGA CAMP will be too hard I think (I’m 46 years old and not sportive…) I’m wondering if I try 30 DAYS or an other one… …

Glad you liked HOME! I’ve just started Dedicate and will be summarizing my thoughts on TRUE shortly… You might consider trying TRUE next! Though every single series has lots of modifications so none of them will be too hard. As Adriene says… “Find what feels good!” ☺️

Thanks Hilary. Let’s start with TRUE 🙂 Beginning tomorrow 🙂 It’s perfect for the quarenteen… And Adriene is perfect to practice English also (I’m French) All the best

Love it! Have an amazing time! 🙂

Here I am, one month later 🙂 I’m finishing TRUE tonight. I’ve managed to do Warrior III, I’m so proud 😉 I feel ready for YOGACAMP. This is kind of addictive, isn’t it 😉

AMAZING Laurence! Thanks for checking in! I’m now halfway through HOME and I totally agree, it’s such a great routine to have in your life everyday 😄

I am 66 and have taken several yoga classes in my life. I think yoga is the perfect exercise for women my age and recently heard about yoga with Adrienne from a friend. I am currently doing the 30 day challenge HOME but plan to try everything she has on YouTube. Adrienne is easy to follow and I thoroughly enjoy my time with her each day!

Quarantine brought me to yoga, which quickly led me to Adriene. I did the 30 days, but (regardless of whatever day I was on) I either landed on the 2015 ones or the Home ones. So, if I was on day 10 and I saw the Home version of day 10 come up first, I picked that one. Now that I’m at my 30 day mark, I think I’m going to stick with them all and go in order! I love this! So much fun, and an easy way to find love in yourself all over again. I’m 33 yrs old this came at just the right time in my life when I was starting to doubt in myself. Stick with it, guys!

Thank you so much for sharing, Alyson! Yes, many of the programs build on each other class after class, so Adriene will refer back to the day before if something is relevant – but the structures of the 30 day challenges are all similar so it’s not a huge gap (I’m on Day Six of Dedicate tomorrow so I KNOW it’ll be “Six Pack Abs”, haha!). I’m so glad you’re enjoying this process. See you on the mat! 😉

Thank you Hillary I will move on to dedicate next. Thank you

Great choice! I’ll see you on the other side! 🙂

I’m new to yoga and enjoying the 30 day Home, I am on day 26 and was wondering what you would recommend when I’m done home. I am a woman 69 years old and not flexible, but feeling a lot better since I started this challenge. Thank you

That’s amazing, Marcia, great to hear! If you’re leaning into the spiritual benefits of yoga you could try Yoga Revolution. But for something a bit lighter, I’d recommend Dedicate! I’m on Day 22 of that series and will be releasing a review once I finish, but I’m finding it very foundational and consistent. Also, none of Adriene’s series require any specific level of flexibility – she provides modifications for EVERYTHING, which I totally love about her channel! Let me know which series you choose! 💖

I’m new to yoga and enjoying the 30 day Home, I am on day 26 and was wondering what you would recommend when I’m done home. I am a woman 69 years old and not flexible, but feeling a lot better since I started this challenge. Thank you. You said I have already said this which I don’t think so but could you tell me what yoga plan I should try next

I just finished Dedicate today and have previously completed 30 Days of Yoga, Home, and True. I will start Yoga Camp tomorrow, based on your recommendation. I am a 49 year old woman who just started my yoga journey 2 years ago. Thanks for your reviews! They helped me choose…that rhymes. 🙂 Be well.

Happy to help, Dianne! Let us know how Yoga Camp goes for you, it’s a fun one! ☺️

I am 69 yrs old and have done Home and almost finished dedicate. What would you suggest for my next 30 day challenge. Thank you so much Adriene, I have had heart surgery and I am finding your yoga classes are really making me stronger. I love being able to do the classes at home. I live in Alberta and my sister lives in B.C. and we are doing your classes together. My sister is 72 and she is really enjoying the classes. Thank you, you are a life save….hugs

Agreed, Marcia, Adriene is such an amazing teacher and guide! I’m so glad you and your sister are enjoying your yoga practices 😊

Hi, I’m 63, fairly flexible and really love the improved strength and balance I’ve developed during lockdown doing the 30 day home and then 30 day dedicate videos. I want to continue developing good balance in particular and would love a 30 day programme that takes beginner/intermediate through a sequence where they can develop expertise in each pose. I know that to some extent each of the videos does that but a poses led 30 day programme would be sweet! Also which video would you recommend for me next? Thanks!

Thanks for dropping by, Kate! You might want to check out Adriene’s “Foundations of Yoga” playlist, where she has one video for each pose and talks about the theory behind them. I’ll drop the link for that below. That being said, it’s definitely good to have a well-constructed series that gives you a blend of strengthening, balance and restoration. You might enjoy Yoga Camp, which was a bit more technical! Foundations of Yoga: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLui6Eyny-UzyugJTu3l1YFL0k3nGIlaz9

Thanks Hilary. I’ve started the Yoga camp and am enjoying it but will also check out the foundations of yoga.

I have come to your blog also looking for the next 30 day programme. I have completed Home at the start of the year and True during the pandemic which took me a lot longer than the 30 days as I lost my mojo from the exhaustion of working from home and then becoming really rundown but I did finish it yesterday! I am also interested how others feel about the day 30 unstructured/improvised final session. I find it the most challenging as I like to follow someone and end up repeating the moves I am most familiar with! I was wondering which to do next or even to go back to Home? I am also a big fan and enjoy Adriene’s personal motivational comments/observations.

So great to hear Emma! I’d recommend checking out the original 30 Days of Yoga series, I found it very similar to Home so you’ll love it! Also Day 30 is definitely a challenge – that’s why I look forward to it every time 😉 And you can always just follow what Adriene’s doing if you’re at a loss!

' src=

Hello I have 73 years of “doing what feels good “spirit. Completed Home and Dedicate then went to the weight loss playlist. Have not missed a day since March 15. I feel and look different. I loved Home as a perfect starting place I may go back to it and see how it looks to me now after all this time.

I am just plunking around each day and pick a practice that has a time frame I like and a title that suits me for that day but I am am looking for a new 30 day program . Love to connect with Adriene lovers. I call her the Fred Rogers of the Pandemic.

' src=

Thank you. Very helpful. Starting today. New to yoga so will start with 30 Days of Yoga 🙂

' src=

Adrienne saved my mental health during lockdown. I am 68 years old woman and I have done yoga on and off most of my life. It wasn’t until my retirement that I took it up seriously, going to classes 3 times a week. Then lockdown happened and I found Adrienne. I have done 30 days of Home once, Dedicate twice, True twice and Revolution once. Does anyone know of any different 30 days that they can recommend.

' src=

Hi there, this will sound silly but which ones have Benji in? I’ve nearly finished dedicate and am probably ready for something slightly more physically challenging but I love Benji too much to do any that don’t feature him!!?? Thank you 🙂

Benji is in almost every video in Home! If I recall correctly, Dedicate was the only series shot somewhere other than Adrienne’s home studio. 💚🐶

' src=

Could you please give me the order that the 30 day courses should be done in. From the beginning to the most current please

Hi May! Feel free to complete them in any order you like – I recommend starting with the OG “30 Days of Yoga”, or the most recent series “Breath”!

' src=

I loved your reviews. I just have two questions. Is revolution more focused on the lower body (due to all of the balacing poses)? And is True easier than revolution? Thank you do much. Keep the amazing work❤🙏

Great questions, Maria! True and Revolution were a similar difficulty level, but since some of the practices in Revolution were longer, I’d say that True would be slightly easier overall. I haven’t found any of the 30-day challenges to be heavier on one part of the body vs. the other, but alignment/balance was definitely a big focus for Revolution. That essentially means that your core is getting stronger, even if you don’t realize it! Hope that helps 😊

30 day yoga journey with adriene 2023

Yoga With Adriene's new 30-minute flow is the perfect way to get moving without leaving your house

I t's hard to motivate yourself to exercise on dark, rainy days. Fortunately, there are plenty of gentle ways to get moving without leaving your house.

Yoga is a great option for people looking to improve their core strength and flexibility, as well as tap into more mindful ways of moving.

Adriene Mishler—better known as Yoga With Adriene—has become the internet's most popular yoga teacher, thanks to her simple but creative routines. Her latest routine is ideal for those days when you want to get moving, but don't have much energy.

Combining two styles of yoga—vinyasa, which involves moving in flow, and yin yoga, which is more slow-paced—it will challenge your flexibility and engage a range of muscles, including the core, while also providing moments of stillness to help you relax.

Watch Yoga With Adriene's VinYin yoga routine

Follow along with Mishler in the above video as she takes you through the routine, which combines meditation and breathwork with slow vinyasa movements and challenging yin poses.

Yin yoga encourages you to hold stretches for several minutes, which can improve flexibility and range of motion in a joint. In our guide to yin yoga for beginners, YogaWorks instructor Tamika Caston-Miller explains that one of the main benefits of yin yoga is that it can encourage mental fortitude: "Mental mastery and the ability to sit with challenge is the biggest benefit of the practice."

This routine acts as a great introduction to yin if you're more comfortable with vinyasa-style yoga. And it will be sure to provide a low-impact way to get your heart-rate up slightly and engage a wide range of muscles.

If you want an even shorter introduction to yoga, try doing some of these beginner yoga stretches, or have a go at this 15-minute yoga flow.
