Our family went on the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Tour from Oahu and had such a wonderful time seeing all the sites with Melvin (Mel) as our tour guide. Mel was extremely knowledgeable about all of the history of Hawaii, as well as the volcanoes. He took us on an extensive tour of the the Volcano National Park and drove through other towns, like Kona, which was so beautiful and a place we want to return to soon. Although this day trip was long (including the flights), it was worth it to see the big island. And Mel made all the difference with his warm and personable demeanor. We highly recommend this trip!

Anthony was the tour guide on our tour yesterday. It was a fun and informative tour of the island. Ask for Anthony when you book your tour.

This is for Dell, our guide on the Road to Hana tour on Maui. He was great! He kept such a positive and fun attitude throughout the tour, even when we had a really inconsiderate couple on the tour who made the whole group wait for them on more than one occasion. He was a great driver too. We were scared off by everyone talking about motion sickness prior to booking, but it was totally fine! The tour itself is pretty nice. A bit pricey (their price is very competitive with all others - so no need to price shop around) - it would be kind of a drag to drive yourself with the one-way bridges and such. We did get to stop at waterfalls and beaches and go into the water, which was great. One tip: We planned like crazy in advance for this and stocked up on food and drink, but it turned out we had a very long stop at Safeway to start the trip, so you can just wait and get anything you need there. I actually wish they let us know this in advance.

Our tour guide, Mel, was fantastic. His knowledge of the big island's flora, fauna, and history was impressive, as was his knowledge of Hawaiian culture and customs. I've traveled extensively and can say he is the best tour guide I have ever had. His driving was careful and he was very courteous the entire time. We asked many questions, and he was patient and knowledgeable in his replies. He made the tour interesting and enjoyable. We only went on the tour to see Volcanos National Park, but it was so much more. Because of him, I'm giving a 5-star rating. As a side note: I called their office the day before the tour with some questions. Whenever any customer relations person starts a sentence with "No disrespect intended," it's already disrespectful. She chewed me out for calling the day before and not sooner. I know she was having a bad day due to many flight cancellations, but that certainly wasn't my fault. The way she spoke to me was insulting. I would have canceled our tour if I could have gotten a refund. Ultimately, I'm glad I didn't because Mel more than made up for the rudeness I experienced the day before.

Wonderful way to see the island of Oahu! Especially if you have a good group of people that would enjoy the private experience. And if I'm being honest, our tour guide Papa P is the real gem of the tour. Papa P really made the tour great with all the personal stories and notes about the island. This company is awful. On October 13, 2023, I took Oahu Grand Circle tour. I had booked shore excursion on Vacations to Go and paid $151. I booked Princess Majestic Cruise from Los Angeles to Auckland. I wasn't given time of departure on confirmation. I contacted Abel Belvin my Vacations to Go agent requesting departure time. She resent email with e-Shore Excursion e ticket with no departure time and tour company name. I called phone number given fir tour company with no answer. I was stressed out not knowing time to meet tour van at cruise port. I called Vacations to Go and Abel shift had ended. I called back Vacations to Go shore excursion department that didn't have departure time. I was put on hold and call was dropped. Vacations to Go called me back to inform me 8:15 am was departure time. On October 13, at 7:45 am, I just at buffet finishing breakfast. Ms. Bush touur bus driver called me that van was waiting for me for 10 minutes at pier and demanded the to board van immediately. I told her my pickup time was 8:15 am. She told me my pickup time was7:30 am. I pleaded for Ms. Bush to wait for me. I ran to my room to get my belongings and fell on carpet near my cabin. I bruised my forearm. I got on van. I was not told by tour company to bring bathing suit and towel for 1 1/2 hour beach stop. I didn't have towel and bathing suit. Tour was mediocre and not worth price.

By far the best Pearl Harbor, dole plantation, Polynesian cultural center and other private excursions tour...the ONLY reason it was such a great tour? You guy guessed it, because of our awesome tour guide ANTONY!!!! He made this tour a memorable one that we will remember for years to come!!! Coming from a retail background, Anthony literally went above and beyond the steps of customer service!!! He made us feel comfortable and secure when leaving our personal belongings in the shuttle, as in Pearl Harbor, there are no bags allowed...we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in Waikiki....didn't worry about an Uber ride at all!!! Trust me, you can't go wrong with Anthony!!! You will not be disappointed :)

Our experience with Aloha Sunshine Tours was so amazing thanks to our amazing tour guide Papa P! He was very knowledgeable about Hawaiin history since he was born there. He was so kind that he made a palm tree braid crown for my fiancé and I since we recently had gotten engaged on Honolulu. He even took out his guitar and played and sang, "Can't help falling in love with you" by Elvis and dedicated the song to my fiancé and I . This man deserves a raise! If you take this tour in Honolulu and get Papa P as your tour guide you will be greatly blessed and are in for an unforgettable tour!

We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads.
