ABOUT THIS ARTIST

The Garden  is an American experimental rock band from Orange County, California, formed in 2011 by fraternal twin brothers Wyatt and Fletcher Shears. The duo released their debut album  The Life and Times of a Paperclip  in 2013, with several smaller releases following. In 2015, the group released their second studio album  Haha  along with the lead single "All Smiles Over Here :)" to critical acclaim after being signed to Epitaph Records. They released their third album  Mirror Might Steal Your Charm  in March 2018, and their fourth album,  Kiss My Super Bowl Ring  was released in March 2020. The brothers have toured across the US, Europe, United Kingdom, China, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Mexico, and in 2019, they appeared at Coachella.

Both twins have experimental side projects: Wyatt's being  Enjoy  and Fletcher's being  Puzzle . They’re also models, having campaigned for brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Hugo Boss, Ugg, and Balenciaga.

Enjoy is a solo venture from Wyatt Shears . The project was formed in 2010 for the sole purpose of making music for easy listening. Among being in other acts such as The Garden, Wyatt has been releasing albums steadily since Enjoy’s start, with 26 releases under his belt since 2010.

I'm so glad I got to see her in a small venue; what a magical and powerful experience. This girl radiates happiness and joy and on top of all of that, she sounds great live! There was confetti, a disco ball, Neil Young, and lots of dancing. I don't think it would have had the same effect in a large or open space, definitely jump on any chance you have to see her before she really blows up! So much love!

Moses Sumney

Moses was amazing. Very enigmatic but still approachable, and he had a lot of fun with the crowd. The performance was incredible, his voice is truly something to behold. I've listened to "Worth It" a million times but still got chills when he hit the high note. Would highly recommend seeing Moses live, especially before he gets really famous and expensive to see.

Ethereal, hopeful, humble, powerful... just absolute ART. The show was focused on everyone, a celebration of culture, love, identities, and struggle. I love that she made it more about the group on stage as a whole than just her- Tons of stage presence nonetheless. Beautiful band, beautiful backup singers. The lighting was amazing and the stage was so well done and simple. Solange holds her own and I cannot wait to see her when she comes back. You can tell she was feeling it when she got down on the left side of the stage and started singing to us, beautiful moment that reminds me why I love going to live shows/concerts. Flying Lotus was an absolute trip as well. I wish she would've brought Kelela out on this date... Scales is such a beautiful song and I'd of loved to see it live with them two.

Absolutely incredible! The music sounded amazing live, not like anything I've heard before. Jónsi Birgisson's voice is incredible live also, even earning applause from the crowd for the length of some of the notes he pulled off. The visuals were stunning. The lights and background of the stage were beautiful. Overall a wonderful experience and will absolutely be seeing them again if I get the opportunity!

The most incredible, angelic, beautiful person to ever grace this earth. I've never been more stunned by a performance. SZA met and exceeded all of my expectations, I cannot put into words how amazing she is live. It's an experience you don't want to miss if you get the chance to see her. She was so happy and humble and was continuiously appoligizing for being sick and I honestly couldn't tell, that's how great she is. Also the experience brought me life not only because I got to see her preform but because everyone was singing every single word to every song with her. Truly incredible when you are surrounded in a room full of people singing your favorite songs at the top of their lungs. Needless to say I want a live version of ctrl after all of this so I can reminisce.

The Ed Tracey Band, Mr. OK & The Last Light set to headline spring concert series at Red Cliffs

CONTRIBUTED CONTENT — Have you stopped by The Terrace at Red Cliffs lately? It’s a new outdoor area featuring exciting amenities surrounded by great shopping and fabulous food.

This spring, Red Cliffs will further showcase The Terrace, among other recent improvements, with a concert series featuring dazzling performances from a diverse lineup of musicians based right here in Southern Utah.

“We love to support local artists as they grow,” general manager Cory Ashby said.

The spring concert series will continue with performances from The Ed Tracey Band on Saturday, May 11, and Mr. OK & The Last Light on Saturday, May 25. Both of these bands previously played at Red Cliffs and were a hit with audiences, Ashby said. Now, they’re back by popular demand.

Showcasing masterful musicianship, The Ed Tracey Band plays a dynamic mix of blues, classic rock, R&B and top 40 hits that’s just plain fun. The group came together as an offshoot of the Famous Unknowns, which performed dance tunes while dressed as Elvis, Neil Diamond and the Village People.

Ed Tracey leads the show with his high-energy antics and hilarious crowd interactions, even doing the hula hoop while singing hits from Journey, Led Zeppelin, Bruno Mars and The Black Crowes, to name a few. Based in Washington City, the band’s membership also features Gary Huff on vocals and lead guitar, Shane Stewart on bass, Steve Flaig on drums and Jedrick Fossati on keyboards and guitar.

Offering good vibes and heavy grooves, Mr. OK & The Last Light are sure to get everybody moving with their unique mix of funk, hip-hop and reggae. Local artist Mr. OK, best known for his signature sound that incorporates live looping technology, originally assembled The Last Light as a backing band to breathe new life into his solo arrangements. However, it didn’t take long for all six musicians to realize the enormous potential of their collaboration.

Every member of The Last Light brings an impressive musical résumé to the table. They’ve been creating together since the summer of 2021, blending various influences to develop a style of groove music unlike anything else in Southern Utah’s music scene. Their debut EP, “Music is the Medicine,” was released last year.

Each concert lasts from 7-9 p.m. and is free to attend. Limited seating will be provided, so guests are encouraged to bring a chair or a blanket and make themselves comfortable on the grassy area near the stage. Concertgoers can browse a variety of vendor booths and grab a bite to eat while they rock out.

There’s always something happening at Red Cliffs, Southern Utah’s place to shop, eat and play. All month long, Red Cliffs and Premier Health & Wellness will be celebrating moms with a series of spa day giveaways. Follow @ShopRedCliffs on Facebook and Instagram for more details.

And don’t miss the Paper Jams Music Fest on Saturday, June 1, from 7-9 p.m. Presented by Cloud 9 Vapor, this free mini music festival will feature Acoustic Adventure, Sky Allen Ledesma, No Proof and more of Southern Utah’s hottest emerging artists, plus prizes.

Red Cliffs, located at 1770 E. Red Cliffs Drive in St. George, has been Southern Utah’s premier retail destination since opening in 1990. As the only major indoor shopping center between Las Vegas and the Wasatch Front, it features more than 60 stores and nearly 450,000 square feet of retail space.

With grass areas, waterfalls and seating built into the landscape, The Terrace is the centerpiece of a significant rejuvenation project that aligns the mall’s offerings with what today’s customers want and need. That includes even more shopping and dining options, like the Al’s Sporting Goods, Tillys, WannaCinn and Kaiseki Sushi locations that opened last year.

“It’s a great place not only to shop but to spend your time,” Ashby said. “Holding these concerts and other free events throughout the year is a way that we can give back to the community for supporting us as we continue to grow.”
