Who Is Tom Cruise?

Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, better known as Tom Cruise, was born on July 3, 1962, in Syracuse, New York, to Mary and Thomas Mapother. Cruise's mother was an amateur actress and schoolteacher, and his father was an electrical engineer. His family moved around a great deal when Cruise was a child to accommodate his father's career.

Cruise's parents divorced when he was 11, and the children moved with their mother to Louisville, Kentucky, and then to Glen Ridge, New Jersey, after she remarried. Like his mother and three sisters, Cruise suffered from dyslexia, which made academic success difficult for him. He excelled in athletics, however, and considered pursuing a career in professional wrestling until a knee injury sidelined him during high school.

At age 14, Cruise enrolled in a Franciscan seminary with thoughts of becoming a priest, but he left after a year. When he was 16, a teacher encouraged him to participate in the school's production of the musical Guys and Dolls . After Cruise won the lead of Nathan Detroit, he found himself surprisingly at home on the stage, and a career was born.

'Taps,' 'The Outsiders'

Cruise set a 10-year deadline for himself in which to build an acting career. Next, Cruise hit the big screen with two huge hits—the $64 million blockbuster Mission: Impossible (1996), which the star also produced, and the highly acclaimed Jerry McGuire (1996), directed by Cameron Crowe. 'Eyes Wide Shut,' 'Magnolia'

In 2002, he starred in Vanilla Sky , his second collaboration with Crowe, as well as Steven Spielberg 's Minority Report . “They’re very happy,” the insider told Us . “And Tom’s extremely confident about it working out for the long term.”

The source shared that the pair met through mutual friends in London. “What started as a basic friendship quickly turned into something more special,” the insider added.

As for where Cruise’s eldest children, Isabella and Connor, stand with the relationship, the source told Us that they “think Elsina is great and are so happy to see that their dad has love in his life again.” (Cruise shares both children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman . Watch Latin American Music Awards

Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment are in negotiations for a new film from Alejandro González Iñárritu , with Tom Cruise attached to star. The untitled project would be Iñárritu’s first English-language film since “The Revenant.”

The film will be produced and directed by Iñárritu, with a script he co-wrote in 2023 with “Birdman” co-writers Nicolas Giacobone and Alexander Dinelaris, along with Sabina Berman. Plot details are still under wraps.

This will be Cruise’s first film since signing a deal to develop and produce theatrical films with Warner Bros. Discovery in January. His last project with the studio was “Edge of Tomorrow” a decade ago.

Iñárritu won back-to-back Academy Awards for his direction of “Birdman” in 2015 and “The Revenant” in 2016. He followed up those projects with 2017’s “Flesh and Sand” (“Carne y Arena”), a virtual-reality short giving viewers the perspective of migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border with a coyote. The project debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 and earned a special achievement Oscar in 2018. In 2022, he co-wrote, co-scored, edited, produced and directed “Bardo,” which earned an Oscar nomination for best cinematography.

Cruise and Iñárritu are both represented by CAA.

It’s not the first time Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has ever been smitten by a Latina. is one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors and it looks like his has set his eyes on a sexy Latina.

While promoting the latest film in the The Mission Impossible series, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation , the well-known bachelor allegedly became enamored with reporter Jessica Cediel from Univision while at an event held for the film in Times Square .

“ She’s a Sofia Vergara- Penelope Cruz type, very good looking, ” said a close source who was at the same event, and noticed Cruise’s focused attention on the Colombian-born, reporter.

Allegedly, the two chatted for about 10 minutes and it didn’t seem at all like it was an interview but a friendly conversation.

On Cediel’s Instagram , she posted several photos of herself and Cruise from the red carpet.

In one of the posts with the actor, she wrote in Spanish: “ This was Tom Cruise’s face when I showed him my commercial for Mission Impossible! Hahahahahaha He congratulated me and he loved it! ”

Cediel also mentioned in the post that she had to record his laugh on her phone because it sounded “ so pretty. ”

According to another insider on the carpet, Cruise had stopped doing interviews and asked his assistant to obtain Cediel’s number for him.

Whether or not that happened is unknown at the moment.

Quentin Tarantino y su propio “Tarantinoverse”

Así, en un principio, ‘ The Movie Critic ’ pretendía presentarnos a un crítico de cine anónimo que escribía para una revista para adultos durante la década de los años 70, aunque tras varias reescrituras de guion, el proyecto se convirtió en una suerte de spin-off de ‘ Érase una vez en... Hollywood ’, su última película protagonizada por Brad Pitt , Leonardo DiCaprio y Margot Robbie , de nuevo con Pitt en el papel de Cliff Booth .

De este modo, Tarantino pretendía presentar al público su propio crossover de todos sus anteriores filmes, donde todas sus anteriores películas tuvieran presencia en su obra final de un modo u otro, presentando así una especie de “ Tarantinoverse ”. Su intención es que todos estos personajes tuvieran algún tipo de relación con un adolescente con sueños de convertirse en cineasta, una especie de autoprospección sobre su propia vida .

Para ello, el director quería contar con la presencia de muchos de los actores y actrices de sus anteriores películas, desde Brad Pitt a John Travolta , pasando por Margot Robbie , Jamie Foxx o Bruce Willis , incluyendo a la superestrella de Hollywood Tom Cruise , aunque se dice que Tarantino no llegó a hablar con el protagonista de la saga ‘ Misión: Imposible ’. Sea como fuere, Tarantino pretendía retirarse por todo lo alto con una idea tan ambiciosa como surrealista . ¿Cuál será, entonces, la última película de Quentin Tarantino? Desde luego, parece que no será ni ‘ Kill Bill Vol. 3 ′ ni su propia visión de ‘Star Trek’.

Tom Cruise to Star in Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s Next Movie

Warner Bros. Discovery and Legendary Entertainment are in talks to acquire the project

Tom Cruise is attached to star in acclaimed filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s next movie, which is currently untitled, according to an insider with knowledge of the project.

Warner Bros. Discovery and Legendary Entertainment are currently in talks to acquire the film.

The script was written last year by Iñárritu with his “Birdman” co-writers Alexander Dinelaris, Nicolas Giacobone and Sabina Berman. Iñárritu is also producing.

Plot details are currently under wraps, however, the project also marks Iñárritu’s first English-language film since directing Leonardo DiCaprio in “The Revenant” back in 2015. That film garnered over $500 million worldwide at the box office and got Iñárritu the Oscar for Best Director.

The news comes on the heels of Cruise signing a deal last month to develop and produce original and franchise theatrical films with him as the star under “a new strategic partnership” between Cruise and Warner Bros. Discovery.

Cruise is currently in production on the eighth “Mission: Impossible” film, which is set for release in summer 2025. Iñárritu most recently directed the Spanish-language drama “Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths” for Netflix.

Tom Cruise is repped by CAA and Greenberg Glusker. Iñárritu is repped by CAA and Gang Tyre.

Deadline first reported the news about the project.

Entertainment | tom cruise’s daughter suri will soon be free to talk about their estrangement and scientology: report, with suri cruise turning 18 this week, she should be free to speak out about her father, his beliefs and their rift, a scientology expert says in a new report.

Tom Cruise’s three ex-wives, Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes, probably would have a lot to say about being married to the famously intense mega-star and their time inside his beloved Church of Scientology.

But these women have mostly kept Cruise’s secrets, with experts in the inner workings of Scientology saying that Kidman and Holmes, in particular, probably signed non-disclosure agreements when their marriages to the “Top Gun” actor ended.

But no such agreement probably applies to Cruise’s youngest child, Suri Cruise, from whom he’s long been estranged, Page Six reported . With Suri turning 18 on Thursday, she and her mother Katie Holmes should no longer receive the reported $400,000 a year Cruise paid as part of a divorce settlement. Cruise also agreed to pay Suri’s college and health care costs, Page Six added.

As an adult, Suri Cruise should be free to speak out about her father, his beliefs and their rift, journalist and Scientology expert Tony Ortega told Page Six.

“Suri would have been too young to sign any agreement (when her parents divorced in 2012), but she will now be free to talk if she wants to and it’s going to be really interesting if she has something to say,” Ortega said.

Page Six said that representatives for Cruise, Holmes and the Church of Scientology did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

It’s possible that Suri may choose to stay silent about her famous father. For one thing, if she gave an interview or published a tell-all about him, she’d probably have to give up the mostly private life she’s been able to enjoy thus far. People credit a protective Holmes with trying to give Suri as normal life as is possible under the circumstances, while raising her in New York City.

“Katie has safeguarded Suri and she’s a devoted mom,” a source told Page Six. “This is a girl who is a private citizen. She hasn’t lived her life in public.”

Suri’s life, though, started out in a very public way. As Page Six pointed out, she was once “the most famous baby in America” because of the very high-profile way that Cruise conducted his courtship of the “Dawson’s Creek” star, who was 16 years younger that Cruise when they began dating. When news came that Cruise and Holmes had become parents to a baby daughter in April 2006, a global frenzy erupted, with media outlets competing to be the first to publish the little girl’s photos.

At the age of five months, Suri Cruise made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair, in a glossy photo taken by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

For the first six years of Suri’s life, Cruise seemed to dote on his youngest daughter and enjoy being seen with her in public. He also is the father of two older children, Isabella, now 31, and Connor Cruise, now 29, whom he adopted with Kidman.

But Suri’s relationship with her father changed after Holmes reportedly “blindsided” him by filing for divorce in 2012. The following year, Cruise gave a deposition in his $50 million court fight against a pair of tabloid magazines and admitted that Holmes filed for divorce “to protect Suri from Scientology,” court documents revealed, Page Six reported.

There have been questions about whether Holmes and her daughter were declared Scientology “suppressive persons,” or SPs, after the divorce. According to Scientology , SPs are people who have “anti-social” personalities who seek to “upset, continuously undermine, spread bad news about and denigrate betterment activities and groups.” Scientology recommends that members stay away from SPs for their own well-being, but the church’s own website said it is “extremely rare” to label someone an SP.

“We don’t know for sure if Katie was ever declared an SP,” Ortega told Page Six. A regular church member, whose wife and daughter left Scientology, would be encouraged to disconnect from them, but Cruise might have been spared that option because of his “top celebrity” status. “He gets to ignore all this stuff,” Ortega said.

In any case, Holmes secured sole custody of their daughter, while Cruise retained “meaningful” visitation rights, according to The Blast . Yet, public sightings of Cruise with his daughter soon dwindled, with Page Six saying they were last seen together at Disney World in the summer of 2012.

Even if Suri has lived a mostly private life, paparazzi are known to follow her and her mother Katie Holmes around the streets of Manhattan. Still, as Suri reportedly prepares to head off to college, Holmes revealed in a 2023 interview with Glamour that she has grown up to be “an incredible person.”

Cuando 'Misión imposible' se estrenó en 1996, nadie esperaba que llegaríamos a este punto: una macrosaga de ocho películas dividida a lo largo de 25 años y en la que Tom Cruise se ha convertido en el hombre orquesta definitivo. Corre, se cuelga de helicópteros, salta de aviones y se tira de motos al vacío absoluto. Y todo ello sin perder la sonrisa.

'Misión Imposible: Sentencia mortal - Parte 1' será, como su propio nombre indica, la primera de dos partes que a priori pondrán fin a las andanzas de Ethan Hunt . Tom Cruise, a punto de entrar en su sexta década, lo sigue dando todo en cada escena, y su alianza con Christopher McQuarrie no para de dar alegrías a los fans del cine de acción. Vamos a ver qué sabemos de esta séptima parte de la mejor saga de acción de la historia del cine.

La producción de 'Misión Imposible: Sentencia mortal - Parte 1'

Después de la pandemia, el equipo de 'Misión Imposible' fue uno de los primeros que volvió a rodar una película de estas características. Y eso que ya habían empezado a rodar el 20 de febrero de 2020 en Venecia, pero tras tres semanas tuvieron que pararlo todo. Volver a la producción fue prueba y error constante , con distintos parones, lo que provocó el famoso enfado de Tom Cruise que se hizo viral.

¡No quiero volver a verlo otra vez, nunca más! Y si no lo haces, estrás despedido, si veo que lo haces otras bien, estás fuera. Y si alguien en este equipo lo hace - Sí, y tú, y tú también... no volváis a hacerlo, joder. ¡Ya está! Sin pedir perdón. Pídeselo a la gente que está perdiendo sus putas casas porque nuestra industria ha cerrado. No va a poner comida en su mesa o pagar su universidad.

La película se ha rodado en Italia, Noruega, Reino Unido, Suiza y casi en Polonia. "Casi" porque la idea original de McQuarrie y compañía era volar un puente que llevaba en el lago Pilchowickie desde 1912 y que había usado en la II Guerra Mundial. Aunque en un principio en Polonia no pusieron muchos problemas, los entusiastas de la historia consiguieron convertirlo en propiedad cultural e impedir el destrozo . Al final, la secuencia se hizo en Reino Unido.

Durante la grabación se vio a Tom Cruise haciendo diferentes acrobacias en un avión , lanzándose al vacío en moto o encima de un tren. De hecho, McQuarrie ha avanzado que el actor y él consiguieron hacer una escena de acción que parecía imposible ("El viernes por la mañana, le dije a Tom que la tecnología para grabar una escena específica simplemente no existía. Esta es nuestra oportunidad para controlar la verdad , los conceptos del bien y el mal, para todos durante los próximos siglos".

¿El Sindicato? ¿Un nuevo grupo de asesinos? Lo que está claro es que Ethan Hunt y su equipo viajarán alrededor del mundo , lucharán en submarinos, se tirarán por acantilados y destruirán todo lo que pillen a su paso (excepto puentes polacos del siglo XX). Si no, no sería 'Misión Imposible'.

Será el 14 de julio de 2023 , a priori en todo el mundo. En ese mes tendrá que competir contra 'The Marvels' , 'Barbie' , 'Oppenheimer' y 'Madame web' . Que empiecen los juegos del hambre.

After Cruise and Elsina Khayrova made their public debut in December, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the pair have been quietly dating for “a while now.”

“They’re very happy,” the insider told Us . “And Tom’s extremely confident about it working out for the long term.”

The source shared that the pair met through mutual friends in London. “What started as a basic friendship quickly turned into something more special,” the insider added.

As for where Cruise’s eldest children, Isabella and Connor, stand with the relationship, the source told Us that they “think Elsina is great and are so happy to see that their dad has love in his life again.” (Cruise shares both children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman . He also shares a daughter with ex-wife Katie Holmes .)

‘She was tough, but it broke her’: why There’s Something About Miriam was reality TV’s most shameful low

From Miriam being ‘revealed’ as a transgender woman to the contestants trashing the set, it was the cruellest reality show ever. Ahead of a new series about its tragic fallout, Miriam’s brother and friend open up for the first time about her death

I t was the very definition of “different times”. In summer 2003, a TV dating series saw men compete for the affections of a 21-year-old Mexican model named Miriam Rivera. What her suitors didn’t realise was that the glamorous star of the show had a secret. In the climactic episode, Rivera announced that she was a transgender woman. All hell broke loose. Contestants sued the show in an attempt to ensure it never aired.

There’s Something About Miriam would go down in the showbiz hall of shame as one of the most controversial reality shows ever. Now, a Channel 4 docuseries revisits the making of the show 20 years since it aired – and five years since Rivera died at the age of 38. It’s a story of belief-beggaring insensitivity and its tragic aftermath.

In the new investigation, Miriam’s family tell the story of her turbulent childhood before transitioning. Named Hugo Cesar, she was assigned male at birth but always felt different to her three brothers, playing with dolls while they preferred baseball. When she was 11, she started taking hormones. Her disapproving father carried out an exorcism to “cure” her.

At 14, now called Miriam, she fled to Tijuana, then the US in search of a better life. Miriam found her niche on the New York ballroom scene. Fellow queen Nikki Exotika describes her in the film as “a sexy Latina siren” who “looked so feminine without many surgeries”. Rivera said, “I’ve had no operations except these”, pointing to her chest.

When she came to the UK to join transgender girl band Speed Angels, Miriam was spotted by TV producer Remy Blumenfeld. He cast her in a show made by his company Brighter Pictures, a subsidiary of Endemol. Blumenfeld said it was “a social experiment about gender and sexuality”, intended to be a positive onscreen representation. However, the British Medical Journal wrote: “The premise was not a celebration of transgender people’s lives. It was designed to elicit horror from the winning contestant, discovering that his dream date had a penis.”

Miriam’s childhood friend, Daniela Real, who calls her “my little sister”, had high hopes: “At first I was like, ‘Wow, Miriam hit the big time!’ I hoped it would be good for our trans community. I thought the world was ready, but obviously not. The ending was trash.”

The Sky One show flew “six red-blooded lads” to a £2m Ibiza villa to woo “one stunning babe”. They competed in challenges to win dates with Miriam. Whoever she ultimately selected won £10,000 and a romantic cruise aboard a luxury yacht. They weren’t told that she was a trans woman who hadn’t undergone gender-affirming surgery. There have been other reality shows that weren’t all they seemed – from Joe Millionaire to Jury Duty to the recent The Underdog: Josh Must Win – but none as crass.

Scene-setting narration from the show’s host, Blue Peter alumnus Tim Vincent, said: “These heroic guys have no idea that Miriam is as much Steve as Eve. As much Arthur as Martha. From the waist down, she’s a man.” This was the time of Little Britain’s “I’m a lady!” sketch. Terms such as cisgender and non-binary were not in common parlance.

“The fact that she had a penis seemed to be the punchline to a joke,” says the production’s psychologist, Dr Gareth Smith, now. “But it wasn’t a joke. It was Miriam and her life. These boys didn’t have the option to consent. It was cruelty television.” So ill-prepared were producers that Smith was only parachuted in for the finale to help contain the fallout. As he says: “Reality TV was brand new and a bit like the wild west.”

Among the cast was 22-year-old Aron Lane – now 42, a father of three and a fundraising manager. “We were whisked abroad, all expenses paid,” he says. “It was like a free lads’ holiday.” They’d applied for a fun-in-the-sun dating show called Find Me a Man. The title was later changed as a nod to the hit Hollywood romcom. As Smith says: “The subtext was that there’s something weird about Miriam and you’re going to be shocked by it.”

Huge effort went into keeping the secret. NDAs were signed. Producers made a point of never using pronouns, referring to Miriam as “the model” or “a beautiful person”. Contestants weren’t allowed to spend much time with her. Anyone who began to suspect was swiftly eliminated. Things got awkward when she and lifeguard Tom Rooke grew intimate. As the pair passionately kissed and his hands began to wander, panicking producers intervened, terrified that Rooke would discover the truth too soon.

As the series progressed, the crew grew increasingly uneasy about their part in the deceit, dreading what might happen at the big reveal. “There were suddenly lots of big, intimidating guys around,” says Lane. “They’d drafted in bouncers from local clubs as extra security. That was when we knew something was afoot.”

Miriam chose Rooke as the winner and told the assembled contestants: “I tried to be as honest as I could. Yes, I am from Mexico, I am a model and I’m 21. Tom, I love spending time with you and kissing you. You see, I love men and I love being a woman. But I am not a woman. I was born as a man.” Daniela suspects this was scripted: “Miriam wouldn’t say it that way. She was classier and more subtle. It made her a clown in a circus.”

Miriam’s disclosure was met with nervous giggling. Rooke was lost for words. Runner-up Scott Gibson, a martial arts instructor, was so enraged that he vandalised the set and chased the director around the pool. Smith told the show’s creator: “Remy, make yourself scarce because they’re going to kill you.”

“Suddenly everything happened at a million miles per hour,” says Lane. “Cameramen were crying. Miriam got swept off and we never saw her again. I would’ve liked a conversation about what she might have been going through. We’ll never have that opportunity.”

While contestants had each other for support – “We formed a brotherhood, bonded by our shared experience,” says Lane – Miriam was left isolated. “My sister was exploited, then abandoned,” says Miriam’s youngest brother Ariel Mendoza, the closest to her of all the siblings. “She was alone in a foreign country. Miriam was a tough girl but it broke her.” “I really think they used her,” says Real. “The boys got more help than Miriam.”

On the flight home, they plotted revenge. The men filed a joint lawsuit, seeking an injunction to prevent broadcast. They settled out of court for a sum rumoured to be £3m but actually nearer £500,000, half of which went on legal fees. The case created a media storm, mostly mocking Miriam. Lurid headlines included “Oi, Miriam, you bloke the rules” and “Big Miss-take”. The outrage was targeted at a 21-year-old woman, rather than the TV executives who’d put her in this position.

“She was upset when they sued the show,” says Mendoza. “The press trashed her. People blamed her. Some still do. I recently saw a Facebook reel saying ‘Look who fooled some guys on TV by pretending to be a woman’. After the show, Miriam went down and down. She looked sad whenever it was mentioned. Maybe she was ahead of her time but I hope her story teaches tolerance.”

The show was slated to air in November 2003. Legal proceedings delayed its airing until February 2004. Thanks to the hype, nearly a million viewers tuned in – big ratings for Sky at the time. Miriam was hailed as “Britain’s first transgender TV star”, but her shameful treatment contrasted starkly with the positive response to Nadia Almada, a Portuguese-born trans woman who won Endemol stablemate Big Brother just a few months later.

After an initial burst of notoriety, work dried up for Miriam. She went back to the US but the scandal followed her. Friends believe she had PTSD, precipitating a dark descent into drugs. In 2007, she fell in suspicious circumstances four storeys from her apartment balcony, leaving her in critical condition. She later disappeared for six months, and claimed she had been kidnapped at gunpoint and forced into sex slavery.

Robbed of everything, she returned home to Mexico. In 2019, Miriam was found dead in her mother’s apartment – in a tragic twist, on exactly the same spot as her eldest brother Luis 13 years previously. It was officially recorded as suicide. Some claimed foul play but Mendoza and Real are sceptical. Real believes the show gave Miriam fame and it was fame that killed her. “She’d gone from being a big star to a small town.”

“Miriam was struggling with depression,” says Mendoza. “She’d always provided for our family. Now she was back home with nothing. Our mum, Maria, just wanted to blame someone. It was her second time going through that loss. She’s the strongest person I know but it broke her heart. She’ll never be the same again.”

“I don’t regret the lawsuit,” says Lane. “Our beef was with the TV company, not Miriam. I do regret her becoming collateral damage and the domino effect it might’ve had. She was like a prisoner in her own TV show. A character rather than a person. They made her a laughing stock, which was cruel. I would’ve loved to make this documentary with Miriam still with us. It’s desperately sad.”

Sky apologised and removed There’s Something About Miriam from all its platforms. Yet it stands as a cautionary tale of what happens when TV loses its moral compass, leaving traumatised participants in its wake.

While at the party, Cruise began break-dancing and ended his routine by doing the splits, according to the Daily Mail . “People were absolutely dumbfounded,” a source mentioned. All we’ll say about that is that if there’s one thing the Mission: Impossible franchise could do to s ecure those Imax screens , it just might be a (gay?) club scene in which Cruise distracts the bad guys by jumping into the splits like a Drag Race contestant. Hayley Atwell Breaks Silence On Tom Cruise Dating Rumors During ‘Mission: Impossible’ Interview

Hayley Atwell revealed that Tom Cruise gave her advice on how to navigate the rumors that the 'Mission: Impossible 7' co-stars are dating.

Hayley Atwell , 41, finally addressed the rumors that she’s dating Tom Cruise , 61. After the two actors were romantically linked when they were filming  Mission: Impossible 7 in 2020, Hayley set the record straight about their relationship in a July 8 interview with The Independent . Hayley confirmed they aren’t dating and said that she looks at Tom as an “uncle”. “I would be like, ‘Ooh, there’s some weird rumors, and it feels base, it feels a little dirty, it feels grubby, it’s not what I’m about,'” she said in the interview. “Why are things being assumed or projected onto me about my relationship with my work colleague and boss?”

Hayley said that the rumors about her and Tom were “upsetting” to her because “it’s involving people in my actual life, my personal life, who have to be on the receiving end of that. It becomes invasive.” The  Captain America: The First Avenger  star also revealed that she got advice from Tom on how to handle the speculation about their connection . “When I’ve talked to him about it, he’d be like, ‘You know exactly who you are. You know what you’re about. And that is the only thing that matters. It doesn’t matter what people think of you, if you are in integrity with yourself, if you know what your value system is,’ ” she said.

Ahead of their movie’s July 12 theatrical release , Hayley praised Tom and pushed back against any of the criticism about the Oscar nominee. “I truly feel you could meet him and go, ‘He’s nice; he’s charming; he’s charismatic; he knows how to make people feel good about themselves. So that’s just a tactic for total manipulation, because he’s probably just an egocentric.’ Or whatever bulls*** people want to make up about people,” Hayley said. “But over time, you’re just watching him, going: he really works hard, he really cares, he’s really interested in people and wants to engage with them, and he believes in the power of cinema as much as he did when he was five years old.” Hayley also said that Tom made her feel “safe” on the set of Mission: Impossible 7 .

When Hayley and Tom were filming their action movie in 2020, it was rumored that they were dating , but they never confirmed the relationship themselves. In June 2022, news of their split was reported and Hayley started dating actor and music producer Ned Wolfgang Kelly . She got engaged to Ned in April 2023. Hayley and Tom had a friendly reunion at the Mission: Impossible 7  premiere in Dubai on June 26. The co-stars shared a hug and Tom leaned in to give Hayley a kiss on the cheek, proving they’ve stayed friendly amidst the rumors about their relationship.
