- Taxi and public drop-offs and pick-ups will be at the Wellington Railway Station, Bunny Street and Thorndon Quay. It is a short walk along the Fran Wilde Walkway to the front gates.

Key timings
Please note: the gates will remain open into the main act. Set times are approximate and subject to change. Do not buy from unauthorised resale scalper websites. You risk buying invalid or fraudulent tickets.
At the gates
- At the main gates, look for the signage colour that matches your ticket and join the queue to go through the entry process.
- At the turnstiles, patrons with field tickets will be given a wristband to access the field. Please wear this at all times and show to security staff to enter and exit the field.
- Please ensure you enter via the correct gate, as wristbands cannot be collected after entry.
- It is a requirement of this tour that every patron passes through a metal wanding process before entering, so give yourself plenty of time to get inside the venue and leave any non-essentials at home.
- We strongly recommend patrons do not bring bags. At the request of the tour, bags must be no bigger than A4 in size (30 x 21cm) and bag searches will be conducted at the gates. A temporary bag drop service will be set up in the Indoor Sports Centre down by the Railway Station. Bag drop opens at 4.30pm and closes at midnight (or once the queues for collection have gone). It is $5 per bag. Westpac Stadium holds no responsibility for this service and any queries for uncollected bags need to be directed to Wellington Indoor Sports.
- You can bring in an empty clear plastic water bottle (max. 1 litre). Bottle caps must be removed on entry.
- Once inside, bottles can be filled from water coolers around the concourse and field perimeter.
- At the request of the Tour, professional cameras or audio recording devices are not permitted, including selfie sticks, GoPros or drones. Mobile phones are permitted.
- Please collect or pre-print your ticket in advance and have ready to scan at the entry turnstiles.
- Ticketek is the only authorized ticket seller for this event. Tickets purchased from other sellers may not be accepted.
- For full entry conditions about what you can and can’t bring into the venue, click here.

The Australian leg of Eminem’s 2019 Rapture tour will kick off tomorrow night at Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre before taking on Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on February 22, Melbourne Cricket Ground on February 24 and Perth’s Optus Stadium on February 27, with ticketing and other info available via theGuide below.
The epic stadium tour is in support of Eminem’s latest album, Kamikaze , which dropped last August out of nowhere. "Tried not 2 overthink this 1… enjoy,” the rapper said via Twitter when announcing the LP.
In an interview with Sway Calloway last year, Eminem said his latest album serves as a response to criticism he received from 2017's Revival , something the above single, Fall , illustrates perfectly.
The album debuted at #1 on the Australian Albums chart upon release and also featured Perth singer Donna Burke on single Good Guy , with Eminem sampling her vocals from a tune called Glassy Sky , which originally appeared on hit anime show Tokyo Ghoul .
Check out our track-by-track for more insight into Eminem’s tenth studio LP.
Eminem’s first show of 2019 took place across the weekend in Honululu, with the rapper sharing some images from the event via his website.

Eminem 2019 Rapture tour to break more records
Eminem is set to attract record numbers of visitors to New Zealand capital Wellington on Saturday, following on from his record-breaking Melbourne show
By Anna Grace on 27 Feb 2019
Westpac Stadium in Wellington
Eminem’s upcoming show in Wellington, New Zealand, is expected to bring record numbers of visitors to the Kiwi capital, as well as breaking the attendance record for the city’s 34,500-seat Westpac Stadium.
The rapper’s TEG Dainty-promoted 2019 Rapture tour has already been one for the history books, as a record 80,708 fans attended the Eminem concert at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday night.
A total of 45,000 fans will attend the one-off Eminem concert on Saturday 2 March in Westpac Stadium. According to stadium chief executive Shane Harmon , this will be the largest ever crowd to attend a single-day event in the stadium.
The venue organisers will have 1,500 staff members on hand at the concert, as well as installing additional food, drink and bathroom facilities.
“It’s going to be another huge weekend in the capital”
It is expected that 22,000 of these fans will be visitors, travelling from outside Wellington to attend the show. The previous record for single-day event visitors was set in 2017, when 20,000 British Lions rugby fans visited the city for a test match against the New Zealand All Blacks.
“It’s going to be another huge weekend in the capital,” says Wellington mayor, Justin Lester . “People will need to expect a bit of congestion on the streets and footpaths. Let’s welcome visitors and enjoy the occasion.”
Eminem has only played one New Zealand show before, at Western Springs Stadium (49,000-cap.) in Auckland, as part of his 2014 Rapture tour. The concert was the stadium’s fastest-selling show ever, attracting over 50,000 fans.

Shady’s heading back Down Under.
After bagging another No. 1 on the Australian albums chart with Kamikaze (Interscope/Universal), Eminem will return to Australia next February for another run of stadium dates, his first in these parts for almost five years.
The Detroit rap legend will kick off the Australian leg of his Rapture jaunt Feb. 20 in Brisbane, then visit Sydney (Feb. 22), Melbourne (Feb. 24) and, finally, Perth (Feb. 27), for his first-ever concert on the west coast. Marshall Mathers will then take his show to Wellington, New Zealand (March 2) for the first time.
Eminem's 'Kamikaze' Continues Streak Atop Australia's Albums Chart
Eminem previously visited these shores in 2014 for the first installment of his Rapture Tour . All shows on that trip sold out briskly, according to Paul Dainty, who has organized all of Eminem’s concerts in Australia this decade and is behind the upcoming tour. “Eminem is a global superstar and his live shows are phenomenal, we’re proud to once again present his Australian tour,” comments Dainty, president and CEO of TEG Dainty. Dates on Eminem’s 2011 tour of Australasia sold out in just 30 minutes, Dainty reported at the time.
Eminem’s surprise release Kamikaze blasted to No. 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart last month, his ninth No. 1 on the survey. The LP ruled for four consecutive weeks and currently sits at No. 2. Of his 10 albums, only The Eminem Show (seven weeks in 2002) and Recovery (nine weeks in 2010) have spent more time at the summit.
Presales for Rapture 2019 commence this Wednesday (Oct. 17) and the general onsale starts next Monday (Oct. 22) via Ticketek .
Eminem’s “Rapture” 2019 tour dates: Feb. 20 — QSAC, Brisbane Feb. 22 — ANZ Stadium, Sydney Feb. 24 — Melbourne Cricket Ground Feb. 27 — Optus Stadium, Perth March 2 — Westpac Stadium, Wellington

Eminem Rapture 2019 Tour
The wait is finally over! Eminem will grace our shores for four massive Australian stadium shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and for the very first time Perth – in February 2019. Eminem’s fiercely loyal Australian fanbase has been willing for tour dates to be added in this territory, constantly spinning the rumour mill into overdrive, and now their prayers have been answered: the rap god is on his way. Eminem himself has hand-picked the supporting acts of Australian faves Hilltop Hoods, appearing alongside Royce da 5’9″ and Boogie.
The long awaited Australian instalment of the EMINEM RAPTURE 2019 tour kicks off at the QSAC in Brisbane on 20 Feb 2019, followed by ANZ Stadium in Sydney on 29 Feb 2019, the MCG in Melbourne on 24 Feb 2019, and finishing at Optus Stadium in Perth on 27 Feb 2019.
Eminem’s live show illustrates exactly why he remains the “greatest in the world” of hip hop. The Detroit rap icon’s rapidfire flow, expansive phrasing and acerbic lyrics are awe-inspiring to witness live. Studio trickery? No, none of that. He attracts countless imitators, but none can match Eminem’s rhyme-spitting majesty in the flesh.

Australian DJ Talks About Working With Eminem on Rapture Tour
The 2019 Rapture tour took Eminem around the world, giving exciting opportunities for local artists in countries he visited. In Australia, it was hip hop legend, DJ Nino Brown.
Ex-DJ and radio host Rush hosts a podcast about sports and hip hop personalities. Recently, he invited DJ Nino Brown and asked him about the time he spent with Marshall.
His first big tour was with Snoop Dogg, he toured with 50 Cent and Jay-Z, but playing for Eminem has left the biggest mark, admits Nino.
I always tell this story that when Eminem toured, I think, in 2014 or 2015 with Kendrick and J Cole, my manager told me that it came down between me and M-Phazes. And M-Phazes produced a track for Em, and they put him on the tour. Much love to M-Phazes. He and I are friends and he knows this story. But it was dirty! Because, you know, he’s a phenomenal producer but in my mind, I was like, “If I’m the DJ guy I will just do so much damage on that stage!” So yeah, it was a bit dirty but when Em came back around they let me know and reached out. It was about a week out and they still hadn’t confirmed. Apparently, Eminem and Paul Rosenberg have to personally approve everything. So I’m telling everybody like, Eminem! But I really only got the confirmation about a week out. The touring company TEG were super professional. It was by far my best touring experience. It was just a dream come true.
DJ Nino Brown had to open the show and then play between the supporting act and Em’s part. To hold a crowd of this size at the Melbourne Cricket Grounds was unforgettable.
I was told it was the biggest crowd of all time at the MCG. The records recently were one of the Bushfire appeal events and then Madonna smashed the record, but then Em took it . I think there was something like 87 000 people. It was insane, and the set right before Hilltop Hoods was basically my last time on stage, and it was just bananas. But after the Hoods performs stage got cleared because Eminem performed with Alchemist DJing. But he had an orchestra, so they had to get everyone off and things changed. It was just a massive production. It was insane, dude. Apparently, there was not enough sound gear in any city to do this thing. So it would be like Wednesday Brisbane and then Friday Sydney because they had to combine stuff from all over the country and then ship it. The only problem I got now is that I don’t know what’s going to outdo that feeling. You know, I play at someone’s party. I love playing at your party, man, but you’ve got 600 people, it’s cute.
Apparently, his playlist had to be vetoed by Eminem. Nino had a moment of tension with 50 Cent earlier about a certain choice of music, so he wouldn’t make the same twice, but Shady leaves nothing to chance.
With Em, I had to actually submit my playlists because they wanted to make sure I wasn’t playing music from any artists that they may not like. Because sometimes, for example, when I tour with 50 Cent on the first night I might have played “Still Dre”. I hate don’t play no Shady Aftermath music. I’m like, cool, I was a funny one. As Fifty’s guys got a little salty at first. I was like, happy to help, bro, but if you don’t tell me I don’t know. So with Em’s thing, I was like, hey, is there stuff you don’t want and they’re like, “Yeah, let us know what you want to play”. I wasn’t playing any Ja Rule records. To be honest, I probably wasn’t going to play them anyway.
