The Safari Zone has been a staple of mainline Pokemon games since the first games released in 1998. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl continue the tradition, except the designated zone is rebranded as the Great Marsh.

The Great Marsh is similar to many previous Safari Zones, but it has its unique differences in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl . The dedicated area has its own set list of Pokemon that can spawn within all 6 zones. The chances of encountering a specific character changes based on the time of day, whether the National Dex has been acquired, and a randomized potential daily encounter with one character from a binoculars sighting.

Great Marsh Safari Zone Guide

There are a total of 31 Pokemon that can be caught in the Safari Zone/Great Marsh in Brilliant Diamond and 30 in Shining Pearl, with 8 only catchable after getting the National Dex from Professor Oak after beating the Elite Four . Arbok is exclusive to Brilliant Diamond players.

Trainers will start the Great Marsh Safari Zone after buying 30 Safari Balls and entering the area. They have unlimited time to explore, but the adventure ends when every Pokeball has been thrown, or 500 steps have been reached. Trainers don't battle, but instead must use bait and lure to alter the catch/flee rate. It is highly recommended to just throw a Safari Ball without using any Bait or Lure .

There are 14 Pokemon that can only be encountered after spotting them on the lookout binoculars located on the second floor of the Safari Zone building. This character is randomized daily, and ordinary random catches have the ability to appear in the binoculars for all 6 zones as well. So, there's no guarantee a character that can only be captured after spotting it with the binoculars will actually spawn.

The date/time on the Nintendo Switch can be manipulated (just like time traveling in Animal Crossing: New Horizons ) to simulate a new daily binoculars potential Pokemon encounter.

Safari zones in every Pokémon game are essentially mini-games in which players are presented with a limited number of Safari Balls to catch as many Pokémon as possible. Additionally, players are also presented with the challenge of being able to only walk a certain number of steps.

One of the defining features of the Great Marsh in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is the trolley system. The trolley system is a free means of transportation that takes players to various areas of the Great Marsh without costing them any of their limited 500 steps. It's also the easiest way to access Pokémon in certain areas. Although the majority of encounters in the Great Marsh in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are for common Pokémon like Starly, Bibarel, and Wooper, players can find the rarer encounters rotating daily. Additionally, having fishing rods grants more access to purely aqua-based Pokémon like Magikarp and Barboach. The better the fishing rod players bring with them and use, the better the Pokémon they can catch. With a Super Rod, players can even catch Whiscash, Carvanha, and Gyarados in the Great Marsh. The Super Rod in Pokémon BDSP can be found by speaking with an NPC fisherman on Route 225.

The Great Marsh is Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's equivalent to the Safari Zone, allowing you to catch some rare and unusual Pokémon - and pick up some essential items - as you explore its six areas. Below we'll explain how the Great Marsh works, including how daily spawns work and where to get any key items on your first visit - and what to do and where to go next if you've come here from our walkthrough guide.

Great Marsh explained: how daily spawns work

Should you use bait or mud in the great marsh, great marsh pokémon and item locations.

The Great Marsh is a Safari Zone-like area in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, accessed via Pastoria City, which is split into six areas with a tram in the centre that will take you to each of them, saving you the walk.

Each entrance to the Great Marsh costs 500 Pokémon Dollars, and you get a limited amount of time in there, measured by the number of steps you take when walking, running, or cycling. That means using the tram is essential if you want to go to some of the deeper areas of the marsh and still have enough steps left over to walk around chasing Pokémon and collecting items.

There's also one central mechanic here that works differently to anywhere else: rare, rotating daily spawns. Here's how that works.

How daily spawns work

Before you acquire the National Pokédex, there are eight special Pokémon spawns that can only occur in the Great Marsh via this method. Each day, an unknown number of them will spawn in the Great Marsh, and those that spawn will be set to only appear in a specific Area (there are six in total).

To find out which rare daily spawn Pokémon are spawning where, you can use the binoculars on the upper floor of the entrance building of the Great Marsh, which cost 100 Pokémon Dollars each time you use them. These do not change the spawns, and you do not need to use them in order for the spawns to appear (we've personally verified this). The binoculars are just a method to help you locate which Area the Pokémon you're after is spawning in that day, so you can head there and run around in the long grass until it appears.

The binoculars, meanwhile, can show any Pokémon that spawns in that area. So, for example: looking through one pair might show Area 1, with a Bibarel. This does not necessarily mean that there are no rare Pokémon spawning in Area 1! Keep re-using those binoculars and it might eventually show a Carnivine, for instance, is also spawning in Area 1 that day.

Below are the rare spawns that can appear. Note that several of these Pokémon, such as Roselia, are catchable elsewhere, while Skorupi for instance can be caught in Pokémon Hideaways in the Grand Underground . Again, several (more than one in total, but possibly less than one for all six Areas at once) can spawn per day, and you don't need to use the binoculars to trigger the spawns.

Rotating Daily Spawn Pokémon

Note that after you get the National Pokédex, another handful of new Pokémon are able to spawn here as Rotating Daily Spawns.

Whether to use Bait or Mud depends on two things: what effect you want, and whether you like to gamble or play things safe.

For starters, let's explain the basics: in the Great Marsh you can't battle or weaken Pokémon, you just find them and get presented with four options: throw a ball, throw Mud, throw Bait, or run away from the battle. Throwing both Bait and Mud has two effects.

Bait - increases the chance of Pokémon fleeing; increases the chance of you successfully catching it with a ball.
Mud - decreases the chance of a Pokémon fleeing; decreases the chance of you successfully catching it with a ball.

It might sound backwards, given the word "bait" is used by the game, but basically: throw Mud at Pokémon you don't want to run away. Throw Bait if you want to gamble on them running before you've even had a chance to throw a ball.

Aside from those new mechanics, the Great Marsh is also a location that you'll need to pass through on your journey through Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's main story.

With that in mind, here are the spawns and items in each Area of the Great Marsh, so you can collect absolutely everything you want.

Trainers looking to complete their Pokédex in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will need to make the most of Pastoria City's Great Marsh.

The Pokémon series has a ton of different recurring elements that fans tend to either love or hate depending on the generation. For example, the frequently-present Safari Zone allows trainers to participate in a unique catching mini-game as they track down rare Pokémon. Generation IV's take on the Safari Zone, the Great Marsh, returns in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl 's Pastoria City and remains fairly unchanged from its original incarnation .

With the inclusion of the Grand Undergound's unique biomes and the Pokémon that appear there, the Great Marsh's less-varied Pokémon options may initially make it seem like little more than a fun distraction. However, there's still plenty of reason to check out Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl 's Safari Zone. With consistent Pokémon between both versions of the game and some notable rare creatures available, here are some things players should keep in mind to make the most out of their next Safari.

How the Great Marsh Works

In addition to limiting trainers to 500 steps and 30 Safari Balls for each visit, the Great Marsh features a unique catching system, as well as unique catch rates for the Pokémon who appear there. Typically, a Pokémon species has a set catch rate that determines how difficult they are to catch in the wild. In the Great Marsh, these numbers are either lowered or raised depending on the species. There's also a unique chance to flee statistic applied to Great Marsh Pokémon, who are not battled and cannot be weakened like other wild Pokémon.

While it is currently unclear if specific numbers have been adjusted for the remakes, in the original Diamond and Pearl , players had the best chance to catch Pokémon if they exclusively threw Safari Balls. While throwing bait or mud may seem useful on paper, players have found that just throwing Safari Balls gives the best chance at catching a Pokémon before they flee. While it may be a bit tedious to just spam a single option, players looking to get some of the rare finds in the Great Marsh should give this strategy a try.

Come with the Right Tools

While players can absolutely jump straight into the Great Marsh as soon as they step foot in Pastoria City, they won't be able to get the most out of the Safari Zone without the right tools. Certain Pokémon require the right field moves and key items to even encounter. Revisiting the Great Marsh with the ability to Surf and use the Super Rod will let trainers catch a far wider variety of Pokémon -- including some that make the Great Marsh worth visiting.

For example, Pokémon like Carvana and Whishcash can only be caught with a Super Rod. Whishcash is especially notable for being a fantastic defensive Pokémon with the always-powerful Water/Ground dual-typing. Having Surf and the Super Rod also opens the player up to the daily rotating Pokémon in water environments, provide even more opportunities and ways to encounter different kinds fo Pokémon.

Use the Binoculars Before Starting a Safari

Knowing which Pokémon are in the daily rotation and where certain ones are located can help players really make the most out of the time limit. To check the entire Great Marsh, players will have to spend 300 Poké Dollars to look through the binoculars on the second floor of the Great Marsh building. Some of these Pokémon really make the Safari worth the time and effort, particularly those who can only her caught here, and checking the binoculars can help players decide whether they should visit or wait for another day.

Keep an Eye Out for Useful Items

Long-time Pokémon fans will know that, wherever there's a Safari Zone, there are important items hidden inside. The Great Marsh in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is no different, as players can find some rare and unique items if they take the time to explore each zone. One of the Great Marsh's most important finds is the TM for Defog, a former HM move that greatly helps players traverse Route 210 and reach Celestic Town.

Outside of that, players can also find a Rare Candy, various Poké Balls, nuggets and different kinds of healing items scattered around the various areas. There's also a Toxic Plate located in Area 2 for players looking to collect every kind of plate in the game, plus various items that can be sold for Poké Dollars. It should be noted that Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl features Diamond and Pearl 's item layout, not Platinum 's.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond (Japanese: ポケットモンスターブリリアントダイヤモンド Pocket Monsters Brilliant Diamond ) and Pokémon Shining Pearl (Japanese: ポケットモンスターシャイニングパール Pocket Monsters Shining Pearl ) are the second paired Generation VIII games. They are enhanced remakes of the fourth-generation titles Pokémon Diamond and Pearl .

The games were announced worldwide on the 25th Anniversary of the release of Pokémon Red and Green on February 27, 2021, at 12 am JST through Pokémon Presents . The paired versions were released worldwide for Nintendo Switch on November 19, 2021. All copies of the game are playable in nine languages: Japanese, English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. These are the first core series games not to be developed directly by Game Freak .

After witnessing a news broadcast about the Red Gyarados being sighted at the Johto region 's Lake of Rage , the player and their childhood friend Barry venture out of their hometown of Twinleaf and to the nearby Lake Verity to see if they can see one there too. Instead, however, they briefly encounter Pokémon Professor Rowan and his assistant , Lucas / Dawn , as they leave the site and accidentally leave behind Professor Rowan's briefcase. When the player and Barry examine it, they are attacked by a pair of wild Starly , forcing them to pick a Poké Ball each from inside the briefcase and use the first partner Pokémon within them to fend off the Starly. Later visiting Professor Rowan's laboratory in Sandgem Town , the player and Barry are allowed to keep the Pokémon they used and start their respective Pokémon journeys with them.

The player first travels to Oreburgh City and defeats the local Gym Leader Roark as their first step on their road to win a Badge from every Sinnoh League Gym . On a return trip to Jubilife City , the player has their first run-in with Team Galactic , whose members try to harass Professor Rowan for his research notes. The player later encounters them again in Floaroma Town , where they attempt to take over the Valley Windworks power plant with the lead of one of the organizations Commanders , Mars . After thwarting their schemes, the player travels through Eterna Forest to reach Eterna City , where they encounter a fellow Trainer named Cynthia , earn their second Badge, and confront Team Galactic's second Commander, Jupiter , at the Team Galactic Eterna Building .

Traveling through Mount Coronet to reach eastern Sinnoh , the player encounters a mysterious man named Cyrus and passes through Hearthome City , where the local Gym is closed for the moment, forcing the player to continue traveling, until they make their way to Veilstone City , wherein they can earn their next Badge. After the fourth Badge has been earned in Pastoria City , the player encounters Cynthia once again and visits her grandmother in her hometown of Celestic , before returning to Hearthome City to challenge its now-reopened Gym. Once the player has earned their sixth Badge from Roark's father Byron in the city of Canalave , a massive explosion caused by Team Galactic at Lake Valor shakes the entire region. Professor Rowan dispatches the player to investigate Lake Valor, while Lucas/Dawn and Barry do the same with Lake Verity and Lake Acuity , respectively. At Lake Valor, the player encounters the last one of Team Galactic's Commanders, Saturn , but is too late to stop him from capturing the Legendary lake guardian Azelf before he has the team retreat from the lake.

Traveling to the other two lakes as well, also earning their seventh Badge in the process, the player witnesses Team Galactic also capturing the other two lake guardians, Mesprit and Uxie , and taking them to their HQ in Veilstone. The player storms the HQ, confronts the organization's leader, Cyrus, and succeeds in freeing the captured lake guardians, but is unable to stop Team Galactic from completing the creation of the Red Chain , which Cyrus takes with him to the Spear Pillar at the summit of Mount Coronet. The player follows him, defeating a horde of Team Galactic Grunts along the way, and reaches the Spear Pillar just in time to see Cyrus using the Red Chain to summon and take control of the Legendary Pokémon Dialga BD / Palkia SP , intending to use its divine power to remake the universe in his own image. Before the new universe can be born, however, the lake guardians appear and destroy the Red Chain, stopping the creation process. Flying into a rage, Cyrus battles the player, but is defeated, ordering a retreat afterwards. The player is then given the chance to catch the Legendary Pokémon for themselves.

Following Team Galactic's defeat, the player earns their final Badge in Sunyshore City and travels to the Pokémon League , making their way through Victory Road and being granted the chance to challenge the members of the Elite Four : Bug-type specialist Aaron , Ground-type expert Bertha , Fire-type master Flint , and Psychic-type expert Lucian . Once the player has emerged victorious against all four of them, they're allowed to challenge Cynthia, who reveals herself to be the Sinnoh League Champion . Defeating her makes the player the new Champion and allows them to enter the Hall of Fame , after which they return to Twinleaf Town.

Now officially recognized as the strongest Trainer in Sinnoh, the player is allowed to travel to the Battle Zone , where highly skilled Trainers gather, and take on Gym Leader rematches . The main attraction of the Battle Zone, the Battle Tower , is led by Palmer , Barry's father, and offers high-level competitive battles against powerful Trainers from all over Sinnoh. A facility called Ramanas Park also becomes available to the player, allowing them to catch Legendary Pokémon from other regions.

Overall, the game's graphical style is different compared to Pokémon Sword and Shield . The camera returns to a mostly top-down viewing angle similar to the original Diamond and Pearl, while the player and NPCs appear with chibi proportions in the overworld but regular proportions in battle. The regular overworld uses random encounters only, while Pokémon Hideaways in the Grand Underground use symbol encounters .

Like in the originals, the games only include Pokémon from the first four generations ; therefore, the games include a total of 493 Pokémon.

New features

The Underground has been replaced with the expanded Grand Underground .
Pal Park has been replaced with Ramanas Park . At Ramanas Park, Mysterious Shards S and Mysterious Shards L (found in the Grand Underground) can be traded for slates , which can then be used to encounter various Legendary Pokémon .
The Global Trade Station (GTS) has been replaced with the Global Wonder Station (GWS); Wonder Trades are the only trades available in the GWS.
The player may also pose for screenshots and save them to the Nintendo Switch's album.
Poffins can now be made inside Amity Square. The player's walking Pokémon surround the bowl during the cooking minigame, visibly reacting to the player's cooking.
Hidden Moves now skip the splash screen animation when used multiple times in the same area.
Due to this, the Pokétch's Berry Searcher app has been removed, as it would be redundant.
Cooking a Level 95 or higher Poffin without any overflows or burns creates a rainbow-striped Super Mild Poffin.
The small menu sprites used for all Pokémon from Generation VI to Pokémon Sword and Shield have been redesigned, no longer looking pixelated. [1]
The icons that represent types have undergone numerous changes. For example, the plain circle icon for the Normal type now bears two nubs resembling Bidoof 's ears.
Pokémon now have different cries when they faint .
Pokémon featured in mass outbreaks can now be seen emerging from tall grass in the overworld en masse, though these Pokémon cannot be interacted with as they vanish into the grass when approached, and the means of encountering them remains the same as before.
Each Gym Leader can now be rematched once per day after the National Pokédex has been obtained, with each having a new, stronger team of Pokémon.
Lucas / Dawn can be battled once per day on weekends in front of Professor Rowan 's laboratory in Sandgem Town after entering the Hall of Fame .
In addition to Palmer , other notable Trainers can now also be faced at the Battle Tower , including the Gym Leaders, Cynthia , Barry , Team Galactic Commanders , and Cyrus .
A new Key Item has been added: the DS Sounds . It is very similar to the GB Sounds from Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver , and can be used to replace the music in the game with the original versions of the songs from Diamond and Pearl. It is obtained from the Sound Designer, a Guitarist who appears in Game Freak 's house on Valor Lakefront after the player enters the Hall of Fame.
A new book has been added to the Canalave Library , titled "The Sea's Legend". It provides a hint on how to obtain Phione and Manaphy in Pokémon Legends: Arceus .
The Belle & Pa Trainer class has been renamed " Ranchers ".

Features from Pokémon Platinum

Like in Generation V onward, Rotom's forms have different types.
As Giratina can only be caught in Turnback Cave , the Origin Forme Giratina in the Distortion Room is shown in a shadow-based form when fought to signify it cannot be caught.
Shaymin 's Sky Forme is included. The NPC in Floaroma Town from Platinum who gives the Gracidea is present.
If the player rematches the Pokémon League again after completing the event at Stark Mountain and the first rematch, the Elite Four and Cynthia again use different teams with stronger Pokémon, though these teams are entirely new to this game and not based on Platinum.
As in every game since Platinum, entering the Hall of Fame causes in-game event Pokémon who have been defeated to reappear, so they are not permanently missable .
Foreign Pokédex entries exist for all Pokémon, rather than only for a select few.
Some Trainers use Stickers to create special effects when sending out certain Pokémon.
It is possible to buy ten jars of Honey simultaneously.
The Bicycle can be ridden inside gates .
The theme of Mystery Gift is based on that of Platinum.
The Pokémon Storage System wallpapers introduced in Platinum return, and now coexist with all wallpapers from the original Diamond and Pearl. However, the Platinum version of the Team Galactic wallpaper is altered to replace Charon with a Team Galactic Grunt .
Like in Platinum, the error from the English version of Diamond and Pearl in which almost all Pokémon from in-game trades had Japanese as their language of origin is corrected.

Features from later generations

The Fairy type has been added. The Roseli Berry , Pixie Plate , and Arceus 's Fairy-type form have also been added to accommodate for this.
The Steel type no longer resists Ghost and Dark .
As in Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, different Pokémon walk at different speeds, and the player may directly interact with their walking Pokémon.
Though all Pokémon available in the game have existing walking animations, some Pokémon (mainly serpentine Pokémon such as Onix and Ekans ) do not use them and instead glide over the ground with no animation.
At the beginning of the game, the player can choose from eight different appearances (four for Lucas and four for Dawn ), which feature different skin tones and hair colors.
An early-purchase bonus event gives the player character an outfit based on their design in Pokémon Platinum .
The Apricorn Poké Balls return, albeit as event-exclusive items.
The Autosave option returns from Sword and Shield.
The Exp. Share functions how it has since Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. Rather than an item, Exp. Share is a background mechanic that applies to the player's party from the start of the game and cannot be turned off.
Type effectiveness is shown in the move selection screen.
The player can press the Y button to bring up a Bag sub-menu for Poké Balls in wild battles.
The Pokémon Box Link returns (albeit no longer as an item), allowing the Pokémon Storage System to be accessed from anywhere (besides Gyms and the interior of the Pokémon League ). This ability is obtained from Bebe in Jubilife City following the defeat of the Team Galactic Grunts .
The Pokémon Nursery replaces the Pokémon Day Care .
Origin marks return. A new origin mark that corresponds to these games has been added, and the Legends: Arceus origin mark also appears.
Like in Sword and Shield, affection has been merged with friendship , meaning that friendship now results in affection bonuses.
The Best Friends Ribbon is obtainable for Pokémon with maximum friendship from the female NPC in the Pokémon Fan Club in Hearthome City . As such, the Footprint Ribbon is given to most Pokémon for being 30 levels higher than the level they were obtained at rather than for having maximum friendship, though a certain group of " voiceless " Pokémon still require maximum friendship to obtain it.
The Catching Charm returns from Sword and Shield. It is given out by one of the Game Directors on Valor Lakefront after reaching the criteria for obtaining the Regional Pokédex diploma .
Ability Patches return from Sword and Shield. They can be purchased from the Battle Park 's Exchange Service Corner for 200 BP .
Terrain returns, excluding Psychic Terrain .
Poison does not deal damage outside of battle .
Morimoto is now present on Route 213 as a Swimmer , being available to battle once per day after the Hall of Fame has been entered. After the first time he is defeated, he rewards the player with an Oval Charm .
Hyper Training , Bottle Caps , and Gold Bottle Caps return. A Veteran in the Battle Park 's Exchange Service Corner can Hyper Train the player's level 100 Pokémon in exchange for Bottle Caps and Gold Bottle Caps.
When a Repel 's effect wears off, the game asks if the player wants to use another one, provided they have more.
The player now receives one Premier Ball for every 10 Poké Balls of any type bought at once, instead of only receiving one Premier Ball anytime they buy 10 or more.
The Rotom Catalog returns from Sword and Shield. It is obtained after Rotom first enters one of the appliances in Rotom's Room , though at first it only contains Rotom's normal form and the appliance that it entered to obtain the catalog. The other appliances can then be taken from Rotom's Room to add them to the catalog.
The Shiny Charm returns, albeit only increasing the chance of an Egg containing a Shiny Pokémon .
The Pokédex can show form differences and foreign languages from the start, rather than having to be upgraded to unlock these features. The NPCs who originally gave the Pokédex these features will still attempt to upgrade the Pokédex, only to find that it does not need any upgrades.
Though the Running Shoes return and still must be obtained before the player can run, there is no longer a button that must be held down in order to run; instead, the player runs by default after the Running Shoes have been obtained, like in Sword and Shield, provided they are using the joystick. If using the D-Pad, holding down B is necessary to run, as in prior generations.
The HP bar drains noticeably faster than in Diamond and Pearl. [2]
Pokémon names are no longer rendered in all-caps, now using the proper case.
Like in Sword and Shield, the Fisherman Trainer class has been renamed " Fisher ".
Like in all games since Pokémon X and Y , the Socialite Trainer class is renamed " Madame ".

Returning features

The player may now earn Stickers from completing Super Contest Shows or by defeating Gym Leaders.
There are now "over 90" different Stickers in the game, up from 77. "Ribbon Sticker C" and "Ribbon Sticker D" have been seen in screenshots as new Stickers.
Up to twenty Stickers may be placed on a Ball Capsule , up from eight.
The menu for positioning Stickers on a Ball Capsule now supports 3D movement for more detailed placement.
The boy in the easternmost house of Solaceon Town no longer awards letter Stickers for showing him the different forms of Unown , instead awarding extra Ball Capsules.
Pokémon Super Contests return for the first time since Platinum, and are renamed Super Contest Shows . They have been changed in various ways, such as Ball Capsules and Stickers being used during the Visual round in place of Accessories , and they support online play.
There are now two rooms, called the "Local Room" and the "Global Room", the latter of which newly supports online connections.
The Manaphy Egg is obtainable through an event for the first time since Generation IV. It is now an early-purchase bonus event .
Unlike in Diamond and Pearl , however, all TMs have repeatable acquisition methods. Most NPCs who give TMs now give three of the same TM, while Gym Leaders give five of the reward TM with the badge. All TMs can also be bought in the Grand Underground by trading Spheres.
The National Pokédex returns in a core series game for the first time since Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (though it only features the first 493 Pokémon, as in the original Diamond and Pearl).
Despite the removal of HMs , field moves return for the first time since Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The eight hidden moves corresponding to the original game's HMs can only be used outside of battle from the Pokétch , but the field moves which were not originally HMs (namely Flash , Dig , Teleport , Soft-Boiled , Milk Drink , and Sweet Scent ) can be used outside of battle by Pokémon in the party like in the original. Chatter is an exception to this, being unusable outside of battle as it has been from Generation VI onward.
The Berry growing mechanic returns.
Honey Trees return for the first time since Platinum.
Footprints are displayed in the Pokédex for the first time since Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 .
The Bicycle is obtainable for the first time since Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
The Badge -polishing feature returns. The Badge case can be viewed from the Trainer Card .
The Key Items Vs. Seeker and Poké Radar both return.
The Moss Rock , Ice Rock , and special magnetic field return following their removal in Sword and Shield. As in Sword and Shield, most of the Pokémon that evolve using these methods can still evolve using Evolution stones instead, although the Ice Stone is not obtainable, and Nosepass still cannot evolve unless leveled up in a special magnetic field.
Several moves that were unusable in Sword and Shield have returned: Flash , Sketch , Hidden Power , Tail Glow , Psycho Boost , Heart Swap , Rock Climb , Chatter , Judgment , Dark Void , Seed Flare , and Toxic Thread . However, other moves that were unusable in Sword and Shield remain unusable in these games, even those that were usable in Diamond and Pearl. More information can be found here .
Like in games prior to Pokémon Black and White , the maximum amount of money the player can carry is $ 999,999.
Like in games prior to Sword and Shield, the Escape Rope is a consumable item in the Other Items category.
Like in games prior to Sword and Shield, the nickname of an outsider Pokémon can only be changed by its Original Trainer , even if the Pokémon has no nickname.
Like in games prior to Sword and Shield, the Move Reminder requires the payment of a Heart Scale for a Pokémon to remember a move. However, he will now teach Pokémon for free after receiving a total of ten Heart Scales.

Connectivity

As with other games on Nintendo Switch, the game is not compatible with other games in the same generation, outside of its pairing. The game does not support competitive features such as Ranked Battles , as Sword and Shield were used for competitive play until the beginning of Generation IX in November 2022. The game received Pokémon HOME connectivity on May 18, 2022 as part of HOME's version 2.0.0 update.

Due to coding issues, game engine compatibility problems, and glitch abuse mitigation measures, compatibility between these games and HOME has limitations. For example, Legendaries may only be moved out of a save file once per legendary per save file, and certain Pokémon like Nincada and Spinda can't be imported to or from other games. Additionally, when a compatible Pokémon from another game first enters these sets of games, its moveset is changed to its four most recent level-up moves by default (though the player can make alterations as of HOME's version 3.0.0, released on May 30, 2023).

Users of HOME can transfer Pokémon between other Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl save files on the console, even if the files belong to different profiles.

Only Pokémon that exist in the game data (i.e. those from the first four generations of games, excluding regional forms ) can be transferred to Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. In addition any compatible Pokémon brought from Legends: Arceus will have their Poké Ball displayed as a Strange Ball , due to the invalid Poké Ball ID not being otherwise recognised in these games. The Pokémon will also not have its Origin mark displayed if it was brought from Scarlet and Violet.

Version-exclusive Pokémon

The following Pokémon are only obtainable in one game of this pair. [3] In order to obtain Pokémon exclusive to the other game of this pair, they must be traded from that game. Alternatively, all Pokémon listed below are able to be transferred from previous games via Pokémon HOME .

Save data bonuses

If the Nintendo Switch system being used has save data from previous mainline Pokémon games, the player may talk to an NPC in Floaroma Town to receive a Mythical Pokémon :

Mew , if Let's Go, Pikachu! or Let's Go, Eevee! save data exists.
Jirachi , if Sword or Shield save data exists.

If there is save data for Pokémon Legends: Arceus in which all missions have been completed and Arceus has been obtained, the Azure Flute will appear in the player's room. After entering the Hall of Fame and obtaining the National Pokédex , the Azure Flute can be taken to Spear Pillar in order to battle and catch another Arceus at the Hall of Origin , which can be Shiny , unlike Mew and Jirachi.

Save data for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl unlocks content in the following Nintendo Switch games:

Pokémon Legends: Arceus : The player receives the Modern Jacket, Modern Trousers, and Modern Shoes of Team Galactic 's uniform. After the credits, it also unlocks Request 93: "The Darksome Nightmare", in which the player can catch the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai .
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet : The Pokétch Case for the player's Rotom Phone is obtained through Rotometry in Mesagoza .

Localization changes

Localization changes shared by pokémon diamond, pearl, platinum, brilliant diamond, and shining pearl.

Both Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl hold a rating of 73% on Metacritic . [4] [5] Nintendo Life gave the games a "Not bad" 6/10, criticizing that the artstyle is a downgrade from the original and "lacking Platinum features". [6] Gaming magazine Famitsu gave Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl a score of 34 out of 40. [7] IGN rated the games a "Great" 8.0/10, [8] commenting that they lean "on the past, with all of its triumphs and tripwires." Game Informer gave the games a 8.5/10, noting that "they mostly hit the mark in being faithful to the originals". [9]

The games sold over 6 million units in their launch week. [10] In the fiscal year of their release, they sold 14.65 million units. [11] As of December 31, 2022, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have sold 15.06 million copies worldwide. [12]

Version history

v1.0.0 is present on the physical Game Cards, and is playable on a Switch whose internet connection remains off.
v1.1.0 was released 8 days before launch when digital preloads became available. [16] Official reviewers were also able to play this version before launch. [ citation needed ] Outside of being an official reviewer, it is possible to play this version by pre-ordering the digital version of the game at least 3 days before launch, preloading it at that time, turning auto-updates on the Switch off, and then opting not to download the v1.1.1 update on launch day when unlocking the preload. [17]
v1.1.1 was released 2 days before launch. This version is playable by purchasing either the physical or digital versions on/soon after launch day and then downloading the updates at that time.

Rarest Pokemon In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl offers a chance to catch every Pokemon from Generation 4 National Pokedex.
Legendary Pokemon like Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai require specific items or events to catch in the game.
Completing the Pokedex involves finding rare Pokemon like Munchlax and Manaphy through unique methods.

With Sinnoh renewed and remade for Nintendo Switch, players old and new are going to be looking for Pokedex completion once again. A unique quality of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is that just about every Pokemon in the Generation 4 National Pokedex is catchable across the two games.

Every Mainline Pokemon Game's Post-Game Content, Ranked

As with any Pokedex, though, some Pokemon will be a real pain to get hold of. Legendary Pokemon have their own challenge, but finding them often isn't too tricky. It's other random Pokemon that are seemingly impossible to find.

With that game done and dusted, Pokemon fans look ahead to the upcoming entry into the franchise, Pokemon Legends: Z-A .

But while that comes out, gamers may want to go back to previous Pokemon games, and why not choose Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl? The remakes of the Sinnoh games are readily available on the Nintendo Switch. One thing that players could do is go back and try and complete the Pokedex, which includes the hardest Pokemon to catch across the two games.

Scyther/Pinsir

Bug/flying-type, bug-type.

These Bug-types made their debuts way back in Pokemon Red & Blue in Generation 1 and have been mainstays of the franchise ever since. But gamers may want to think twice before wanting to use these 'mons in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl.

They can only be caught after acquiring the National Dex on Route 229, which leads up to the Battle Resort and in the Grand Underground as rare spawns in select locations. It is also worth noting that Scyther is exclusive to Brilliant Diamond and Pinsir can only be caught in Shining Pearl . To get both bugs in one copy of the game will require some trading.

Scyther/Pinsir's Base Stats:

Magby/elekid, fire-type, electric-type.

Game Location: Elekid ( Brilliant Diamond only) Grand Underground - Dazzling Cave, Whiteout Cave, Stargleam Cavern, Glacial Cavern, Magby ( Shining Pearl only) Grand Underground - Volcanic Cave, Sandsear Cave, Typhlo Cavern

Similar to the aforementioned Bug-types, Elekid and Magby are counterparts. In fact, they only appear in one game; Elekid the Electric Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and Magby the Live Coal Pokemon in Shining Pearl .

However, they can only be found as rare spawns in specific locations in the Grand Underground. Gamers will want to search high and low (mainly low) to add the baby Pokemon to their Pokedex. But if found, they can be evolved into the powerful Electivire and Magmortar, which are very useful to take on the various gyms and other powerful trainers across the Sinnoh region.âââââââ

Elekid/Magby's Base Stats:

Game Location: Route 230 (Poke Radar), Grand Underground - Fountainspring Cave, Dazzling Cave, Stargleam Cavern

Previously a Normal-type Pokemon before Generation 6, the now Fairy-type 'mon is difficult to locate in BD&SP . It is available in specific locations in the Grand Underground as a rare spawn.

It is also found only on Route 230 while using the Poke Radar , an item that is available from Professor Rowan in Sandgem Town after acquiring the National Dex. Togepi eventually evolves into the powerful Togekiss, which is one of the best Flying-type Pokemon in the game with high Special Attack and Defense.

Togepi's Base Stats:

Dialga/palkia, steel/dragon-type, water/dragon-type.

Game Location: Spear Pillar

The mascots of either game, Dialga for Brilliant Diamond and Palkia for Shining Pearl are caught as part of the storyline, but that doesn't take away from their rare nature.

Gamers can only catch one of each Pokemon and will need both copies of the game to complete the full Pokedex, and it will require some trading. Catching them is no easy feat without the use of a Master Ball and players will need to pull out all the tricks to make Dialga or Palkia a member of their party.

Dialga/Palkia's Base Stats:

Cresselia/giratina/heatran/uxie/azelf/mesprit, psychic-type, ghost/dragon-type, fire/steel-type, psychic-type.

Game Location: Cresselia (Roaming), Giratina (Turnback Cave), Heatran (Stark Mountain), Uxie (Lake Acuity), Mespirit (Roaming), Azelf (Lake Valor)

There are a lot of Legendary and Mythical Pokemon in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl and a select few are only available through events and other means, but these 'mons can be found in regular gameplay. The Lake Trio can be found after catching Dialga or Palkia in their specific lakes. Mesprit is found in Lake Verity but becomes a roaming Pokemon and is found in a random location across the Sinnoh region.

The other three Legendaries can be encountered in their specific locations, but it will take a lot to catch these 'mons. With only one Master Ball in the game , it can be tricky to figure out the best 'mon to use it on, so gamers will need to be careful to not knock out these Pokemon as there is only one in each copy of the game.

Cresselia/Giratina/Heatran/Uxie/Azelf/Mesprit's Base Stats:

Normal-type.

Game Location: Route 210 (Poke Radar), Grand Underground - Grassland Cave, Riverbank Cave, Still-Water Cavern, Sunlit Cavern (After obtaining the National Pokedex)

A Pokemon often neglected by Game Freak, still unobtainable in Pokemon GO , and rarely featured in regional Pokedexes, Kecleon is kept camouflaged in these games. The bright side is that there are two ways to get hold of Kecleon, but both can be troublesome.

Firstly, it is exclusive to Brilliant Diamond . From there, it can be found in the Grassland, Riverbank, Still-Water, and Sunlit Caverns of the Grand Underground. However, only after the player has obtained their National Pokedex. The other way to get it is to use the Poke Radar on the Northern part of Route 210, with a 12% encounter rate. But again, the Poke Radar is only obtained after getting the National Pokedex.

Kecleon isn't anything special from a competitive perspective, but it has a few unique traits that make it fun to play with. Its ability, Color Change, means that it changes type to that of the move it last got hit by. In most cases, that makes it resistant to that move, but there are some unique cases, like Dragon, where it will actually give it some trouble.

Kecleon's Base Stats:

Game Location: Trophy Garden

A Pokemon that changes with the weather, Castform has been somewhat rare in every game it's appeared in. It often requires the right weather effects to spawn or is simply given away as a gift to the player. Thankfully, pinning down its location in this game isn't too difficult, but getting hold of it is.

For Castform, players will need to use the Trophy Garden at the back of the Pokemon Mansion on Route 212. Each day, the owner, Mr. Backlot, will mention a rare Pokemon he's seen in the garden that day. This is random and can be one of 16 Pokemon, of which Castform is one. Once Mr. Backlot mentions Castform, it will have a 5% encounter rate in the Trophy Garden's grass for that day.

Castform is unique in the Pokemon world, as it is one of the only non-Legendary Pokemon not to have a Hidden Ability. Castform's stats are downright average, with 70s across the board. Its different forms give it some range, although it does require players to have weather-changing abilities elsewhere on their team to get the most out of Castform's ability to change type.

Castform's Base Stats:

Electric/ghost-type.

Game Location: TV in Old Chateau (Night) (Only one)

Those who played the original Diamond & Pearl will remember the creepy event that surrounded the capturing of Rotom. It was presented almost like a Mythical Pokemon, with the circumstances surrounding the encounter. These players will be pleased to know that it remains intact in these remakes.

After getting the National dex, players must head to the Old Chateaux next to the Eterna City exit of Eterna Forest. Venturing around in here will lead players to a TV showing static and creepy imagery. Interacting with it will cause Rotom to attack. Once it's caught, players will get the Secret Key, which they can take to the Veilstone Galactic HQ to get Rotom's various forms.

Once players have captured Rotom, they'll be given the Secret Key item. Taking this to the Eterna City Galactic Building will grant access to a secret room with appliances that Rotom can possess. This gives Rotom a wide range of uses, some of which are occasionally seen in the competitive battling scene thanks to the boost it gives Rotom's stats and alterations to its type.

Rotom's Base Stats:

Game Location: Route 218 (Poke Radar), Grand Underground - Dazzling Cave, Stargleam Cavern (After obtaining the National Pokedex)

Friend to Pokemon breeders and members alike, Ditto is a hot commodity whenever a new Pokemon game comes out. While Ditto is available in the game, players will need to wait until after they've got their National dex before venturing out to find it.

The first place Ditto can be found is in the Stargleam Cavern in the Grand Underground . This is the giant cavern in the center of the Underground map, which can only be reached by entering the underground from Celestic Town. The other way is to use the Poke Radar on Route 218 to get it at a 12% encounter rate.

Ditto's transforming ability isn't so great under normal circumstances. The fact that it has to use a whole turn to change puts it at a severe disadvantage. That's why players should get an Ability Patch on it as soon as possible, to give it the Impostor ability, which causes it to change immediately. It's sadly below-average stat-wise, but single players can have fun with it.

Ditto's Base Stats:

In the original games, the best way to get Porygon was via the Veilstone Game Corner. However, due to a change in ESRB rating policies since then, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl weren't allowed to include this due to it being gambling. To avoid having their kid-friendly game rated a 12 by ESRB, ILCA replaced the Game Corner with a clothing shop.

This meant that Porygon had to be moved somewhere else, though, and their place of choice was the Trophy Garden. Porygon is among the 16 Pokemon that Mr. Backlot may tell the player about each day. This makes getting hold of it relatively simple, although it will require some patience.

Porygon's evolved forms are pretty powerful Pokemon for players who are willing to get the items and do the trade evolutions. Porygon2 is preferred in the competitive scene due to a slightly wider movepool and the use of Eviolite. However, Porygon-Z is just as good for single players, it has some great stats, and depending on its ability, the way players train those stats can affect what role it fills in a team.

Porygon's Base Stats:

Game Location: Received from Bebe in Hearthome City, Trophy Garden

A Pokemon that has surged in popularity since the original games, Eevee was a big part of Generation 4, as it got new evolutions in Leafeon and Glaceon. That said, it isn't actually part of the Sinnoh Pokedex and may be a bit harder than expected to track down.

The first way to get it is as yet another Trophy Garden Pokemon, which means more talking to Mr Backlot. However, there is another way, but it requires getting the National dex. Once this is done, simply talk to Bebe, whose house is next to the Pokemon Center in Hearthome City, and she will gift one to the player.

Eevee is undoubtedly one of the most versatile Pokemon in the game. Players can make an Eevee on their team into almost anything they want. If they want simple attacking power, then Flareon, Vaporeon, and Espeon will be great. Jolteon can strike ludicrously fast, whilst Umbreon takes a few good hits whilst chipping away at opponents. Ultimately, players can make their Eevee into whatever suits them best.

Eevee's Base Stats:

All starter pokemon.

Grass Types - Grassland, Riverbank, Still-Water & Sunlit Cavern
Fire Types - Volcanic, Sandsear & Typhlo Cavern
Water Types - Fountainspring, Riverbank & Still-Water Cavern
(Bulbasaur can also be found in the Swampy & Bogsunk Cavern)

Starter Pokemon are usually a rare commodity in Pokemon games, especially those of the region where the game is set. However, the designers were nice this time around, and players can get every starter Pokemon in a single save file without the need for trading.

Pokemon: The 10 Most Defensive Type Combinations

Players must obtain their National dex, and then navigate the Grand Underground to find them all. Each type can be found in different caverns and are all fairly rare encounters.

Starter Pokemon are always going to have solid stats. These Pokemon are designed to be the player's primary companion, after all. These early Generation Starters aren't seen in competitive all that much, although Venusuar has some interesting niches thanks to the Chlorophyll Hidden Ability. Given the Pokedex is restricted to just Generation 4, though, Pokemon like Infernape could make a substantial impact on almost any battlefield.

Ghost/Dark-type

Game Location: Hallowed Tower on Route 209

A Pokemon famously annoying to get ahold of whenever it appears, Spiritomb is a strong Pokemon that has found its way home to the Sinnoh Region and the Hallowed Tower once again. The first thing players must do is get the Odd Keystone, which is handed out by a Blackbelt on Route 208, just before reaching Hearthome City.

With this item in their bag, players must then interact with a pile of rocks in the Southeast of Route 209. It will then become the Hallowed Tower. The next step is a bit of a pain, but players must go into the Grand Underground and talk to 32 different people. These remakes make it easier than the originals, though, as NPCs now count towards this total, and the online mode makes finding other people very easy. Getting this Pokemon as early as possible will be great to help with the game's biggest challenges .

Spiritomb is one of the few Pokemon in the game that enjoys having just a single weakness. The addition of Fairy-type has since thrown a wrench into things. Spiritomb still has a lot to offer, though. It has great defensive stats, and while its attacking power is nothing special, it's enough to put Pokemon weak to it on notice.

Spiritomb's Base Stats:

Game Location: Mount Coronet (four fishing spots)

While later Generations would cool their jets about Feebas, it is a tremendous pain in both Generations 3 and 4. The Generation 3 remakes, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire gave players a break by changing Feebas' encounter mechanics. However, these Generation 4 remakes did not.

The first step is to go into Mount Coronet and find a foggy cavern. Using Defog here will reveal a large lake. In this lake, 4 of the water tiles contain Feebas. These tiles are decided at random and change every day . What's more is that the tiles where Feebas appears only give a 50% encounter rate, meaning players will need to check every tile in the lake multiple times to know for sure that they didn't accidentally miss it.

Whilst Feebas is in the Magikarp class of joke Pokemon, Milotic is a powerful ally that players should be desperate to get their hands on. It has a couple of useful abilities. Marvel Scale increases its defense whenever it has a status condition, and Competitive raises its Special Attack whenever a stat is dropped. It has access to an incredibly wide movepool and enjoys the luxury of 100 in Special Attack and 125 in Special Defense.

Feebas' Base Stats:

Honey tree munchlax.

Game Location: Routes 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 218, 221, 222, Eterna Forest, Floaroma Meadow, Fuego Ironworks, Valley Windworks (Honey Trees), Grand Underground - Grassland Cave, Spacious Cave, Whiteout Cave, Riverbank Cave, Still-Water Cavern, Sunlit Cavern (after obtaining TM97 (Defog))

This, the rarest Pokemon, arguably in the entire franchise, is still very much a feature in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl . While Munchlax is now available in the Grand Underground, players of the originals will remember the pain of trying to get one purely by using Honey Trees, something they can still do in the remakes.

The way honey trees work is simple, slather honey on a tree, wait for 6 hours, and encounter a Pokemon from a random pool. Munchlax is extra horrible, though, because only a random four trees out of the twenty-one in the game can spawn it. What's more, two of these trees are determined by the save file's Secret ID, which the player can never know without hacking. The cherry on the cake, though, is that even when players do locate the right trees, Munchlax's encounter rate is a pitiful 1% meaning it will take days or potentially months to find.

Munchlax is surprisingly strong for a baby Pokemon, but players are going to want to evolve it into a Snorlax as soon as possible. The absolute walling capabilities of Snorlax are well documented, as it has 160 in HP and 110 in Special Defense. This can be enhanced with a move like Curse, which lowers Speed but raises Attack and Defense. Snorlax is undoubtedly slow, but it can hit like a truck when used by a player who knows its strengths.

Munchlax's Base Stats:

Game Location: Event

The only way to obtain the Water mythical Pokemon Manaphy in the Nintendo Switch titles was through an event that was distributed to fans from November 19, 2021, to February 21, 2022. What makes this 'mon unique is that it came via an egg, which is rare for a legendary or Mythical.

If players were lucky enough to get a Manaphy a second mythical Pokemon follows, which is a Phione, only obtainable from breeding a Manaphy. Another unique thing that this Generation 4 Pokemon can do. The Seafaring Pokemon has 100 base stats all across the board, so in battle, it is perfect to be used as a jack of all trades, and with its varied moveset it can be a great 'mon to use in the game.

Manaphy's Base Stats:

Game Location: Snowpoint Temple (requires Regirock, Regice, and Registeel in the player's party) (Only one)

The leader of the Regis , to obtain this beast of a Pokemon, gamers will need RegiRock, Regice, and Registeel in their party and head to Snowpoint temple, which will allow players to enter.

To get the Generation 3 legendaries in BD&SP, players must first unlock the National Pokedex, this will allow Mysterious Shards to be found in the Grand Underground. These items can be traded for slates at Ramanas Park, which look a lot like Game Boy and Game Boy Advance cartridges.

The Discovery Slate is what is required to get the Regis, so three of these will be needed and then be inserted into the specific pedestal. Once all three are obtained, they need to be in the party and then gamers can finally unlock the ability to capture Regigigas and make use of its powerful Normal-type STAB attacks.

Regigigas' Base Stats:

Grass-type/flying-type.

Game Location: Flower Paradise (requires Oak's Letter) (Only one)

Shaymin is another really rare find in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl as it is only available with the Oak's Letter item, which was distributed through an event from February 27 to March 27, 2022.

If players were lucky enough to receive this item they will be told to head to Route 224, and they will be greeted by the one and only Professor Oak. Upon doing this, the Seabreak Path will be opened up which will lead to Flower Paradise, where the little green hedgehog awaits to be captured at level 30.

Naturally, Shaymin appears in its Land Forme, but if the player takes it to a blonde-haired lady in Floaroma Town, they can receive the Gracidea Flower, which can be used to change it to its Sky Forme giving it the Flying secondary typing.

Shaymin's Base Stats:

Game Location: Newmoon Island (requires Member Card) (Only one)

Darkrai is up there with Giratina's Origin Forme in being the most evil-looking Pokemon, suiting its Dark-type status very well. To pick up Darkrai in the Diamond & Pearl remakes is tricky. Gamers will need an event-exclusive item, the Member Card, which was only available from April 1 to April 30, 2022.

Players will head to the Harbor Inn in Canalave City, which will spawn a quest involving a nightmare and let the player battle and then capture the Pokemon.

But before even doing that, the player must first meet Cresselia, obtain the Lunar Wing, and use it to dispel the nightmares Darkrai inflicts on the character's son. With a staggering 135 attack and 125 speed, Darkai is worth all the trouble to have a 'mon capable of mass destruction.âââââââ

Darkrai's Base Stats:

Game Location: Hall of Origin (Only one)

The god of all Pokemon, the all-mighty Arceus , how could anyone not want this Pokemon in their party? It has the unique ability to change its type depending on what plate it is holding as a held item. This means he can be useful for a whole host of different scenarios in battle, perfect for the Elite Four.

But to get this 'mon is no easy task, first gamers will need to have save data from Pokemon Legends: Arceus and have completed all the missions in that game. Then, the player will need to enter the Hall of Fame and receive the National Dex in BD&SP. Doing both of these things will make the Azure Flute appear in the player's room in Twinleaf Town.

Playing the flute at Spear Pillar will open up the Hall of Origin and then comes the not-so-easy task of actually capturing the god of all Pokemon. With 120 base stats across the board, it has 720 total base stats, making it the most powerful Pokemon without a Mega or other form.

I created a QR CODE Collection of 6IV Dittos for breeding and trading ready! /// !!!ONLY FOR SUN & MOON!!! I know its maybe not importend to have such a QR CODE Collection but I had too much freetime left and so i decided to create some QR CODEs of breeding and trading ready Dittos with 6IV and with all Nature and an item for Level up. And soon I'll upload many CP Ready Pokemon 100% LEGAL and Event Pokemon too, which will be also 100% LEGAL!
