“Amazing Traveling Experience”

It was nice experience, value for money. Variety of game options just good for a day outing. It would have been complete if boating was available at all times. There is natural lake adjacent to the property which could have been used. Staff was co-operative and does their job very well.The mud bike and cycling laps were too small. I wish cycling can be extended as complementary and if they could dedicate more space for it. Food was very good. Overall a great place to hang out. Thanks to the management and staff for maintaining it well.

PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE - AVOID VEENA WORLD AT ALL COSTS! One of my relatives booked an Europe trip 3 years ago with Veena world. Unfortunately, the trip was cancelled by Veena World due to Covid-19 outbreak. After taking the complete booking amount, Veena world promised to plan them in the next tour once the tour resumes. My relative was quite understanding, agreed to the proposal and patiently waited for Veenaworld to resume their tour operation. In 2023 Q1, Veenaworld planned them on a tour starting May 2023 at last minute without reserving adequate time for visa processing. Unfortunately, at last minute(in Apr) visa application got rejected. Frustrated with this poor planning by veenaworld and the never-responding customer service, my relative decided to cancel the tour. Since then, she is being totally ignored by Veenworld. Customer service is totally un-responsive (neither responds to her email nor picks her call). She is still awaiting for a fair refund from Veenaworld. I feel that Veenaworld is just a SCAM given the experience that my relative is going through and also based on the worst review I read everywhere. REFRAIN FROM USING ANY OF THE SERVICES FROM VEENA WORLD. I hope the management of veenworld notices these concern and take fair measures, if they still want to be in business.

Very bad experience. Rooms and food not good.Tour operator also not proper.After so many complaints no resolutions.Whole trip is disaster.

Its very good product and it has many benefits and I suggest evry one to use these type of hood products which will improve their requirements

PATHETIC START BY TOUR MANAGER (Prasad Chavan)

Once we reached to Srinagar the tour manager has started tour with negative statements in spite he has to say it positively that although weather is not good we can enjoy the tour.

Stay at houseboat: WORST NIGHTMARE. Very very cold. No security and privacy. Also allocated separate small houseboat to 3 families which is very bad and smelly.

Food quality was bad and 70% of people faced the food poisoning and bad stomachache due to this. (check with other tour members pls)

Pick and drop from one boat loaded with heavy luggage (here tour manager can take decision to drop luggage in one boat and other boats for the tourists). DIRECTLY playing with guests' life.

Hotel Room: NO Privacy at all and everyone can see the room from outside.

Tour manager has not given proper information about site scenes and also has not provided add-ons ( like Maggie and all on that places properly, provided it at last day but has to provide as per itinerary)

Asked few questions to tour manager and answers will be like this :

Guest: How to go to Sonamarg from here?

Manager: Go straight and turn left Sonmarg will come (sarcastically smiling)

Guest: Tea is not good today?

Tour Managers Answer: This is not your home to get the tea like home.

We are not here to entertain tour manager we paid high cost to Veena World so we can’t expect answers like this.

Tour manager initially allocated one room to us and due to something our family reached last. They have Directly changed the room numbers allocated initially. The hotel room is very small and bedsheets are too dirty (I took photographs of the same as well if you need it )

Hotel at Sonmarg: Hotel room is good but NO HEATER WORKING in minus 15 temperature.

Food: VERY VERY bad and no action was taken by your manager after complaining it.

Hotel room: NO Privacy at hotel room. When we open curtain of the window CRPF base camp was there so no privacy. Food was OK OK but no cleanliness and my bathroom was blocked and the water was not going.

We have got ice cream add on, Popcorns and Maggie on same day it should be designed separately because of some reason in iternary .

Just showed the gardens and local site scenes without proper information and enjoyment .

I am regular customer of Veena world and I NEVER expected this from well known company like Veena world. As per my opinion the Tours success depends on how tour manager deals with situations and not only show and tick itinerary mentioned in your. This time I feel bad that I booked Veena World tour!!!

I never book Veena World tour further due to this experience!!

Veena World's handling of my canceled trip was nothing short of a nightmare. They made an error that led to the cancellation, yet when I sought a refund, they fell short of providing the full amount. It's disheartening to see a company shirk responsibility for their mistakes.

To add insult to injury, they failed to refund the airline ticket prices, leaving me with a significant financial loss. The lack of transparency and empathy in their customer service process is deeply troubling. I expected more from a travel company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, Veena World has left me with a bitter taste and a cautionary tale for anyone considering their services.

I just came back from my tour of Central & Eastern Europe today, and I have a few things to say about the whole experience.

If I have to summarize the experience in just one word, I would choose the word ' irritating'. I'll explain why below.

There were plenty of points to complain about.

Let's start with my experience with the Borivali office staff.

No call backs, no responses and no proper conveying of important information. For example we were never told that Vienna was cancelled from our itinerary and that the Warsaw city tour was rescheduled on the day of our arrival. We were just sent the itinerary, but no one actually called and explained.

So they basically sold us one tour, but then didn't bother explaining the changes in the tour plan and simply sent us the revised itinerary without telling us that it was revised. Smart.

Yes, in the night, when everyone was dead tired and we could barely see anything out of the window. That's when they gave us a 'city tour' of Warsaw. We left for Krakow the next day so missed Warsaw completely. These things need to be explained properly by the office staff and I'm sorry to say that the employees failed miserably at doing that.

Then we come to the actual planning part of the tour. I have to be quite blunt here and say that it was abysmal. Again, the people who plan these horrible itineraries need to be retrained. Because the whole tour felt like a military camp and not a vacation.

Yes, seeing a lot of countries is an objective but that should not come at the cost of mental peace and comfort. We go on a vacation to relax and enjoy new experiences. Not to run from one country to the next. I'll give you a short example. We travelled for around 5 hours, to do a city tour that lasted for about an hour and 15 mins. Does that seem like a good idea to you? And we did this twice. Once for Bosnia and once for Montenegro. Especially when the city tour was of a city that was in no way beautiful or even that special as was the case with Bosnia. We just saw a bridge. Yay. And then again had to go through border immigration for 2 hours.

Tell me one thing. Has any restaurant ever, anywhere, served you cold food? Does anyone do that? Except for the dishes that are meant to be served cold or at room temp, most food is served hot. Chefs are trained that way. We were served cold food multiple times on this trip.

Both the Indian as well as 'local' food that we were served was cold. Again, why? Were had paid for our trip. We didn't go there on someone's charity. So why were we served food as if we never get to eat good food? I have travelled extensively in Europe before this trip. I have also travelled across South Eastern Asia and the Middle East. NO ONE has EVER served me cold food, whether I was last or on time.

While travelling from Bosnia to Dubrovnik, the driver broke the speed limit. We were stopped by the cops and the whole situation took around an hour to resolve. Then we had to go through immigration. Because of this, we were late for lunch. So the restaurant had already laid out the tables with the food when we arrived. Yes. And we were said we had to eat that. The chicken, which was roasted was rock solid and cold. So was everything else. So the restaurant will serve you cold food because you're late? Can't they at least reheat it? Also, since it was the driver's fault, why should we eat cold food? How is that our problem? Isn't this the tour manager's job to sort this out? Because of your bad planning, we should eat cold food in 15 degrees weather? Seriously?

Here's the funny part. The tour manager said that the driver did everything for us and his job was to get us there on time. As if we should bow down to the driver. It's the driver's job to drive and he's paid for it. He's not doing it for us. So if he makes a mistake then it's his mistake. Fair and square. No need to sugar coat it.

If you want to travel, do it with some other company or plan it yourself. You'll save a lot of headaches. Trust me, they're not worth it.

I have a very long story to tell so let me first summarise my feedback if you won't read the entire story. My experience in this tour was pathetic. I expect a refund of the day lost due to the driver's death which was due to no contingency plan by your esteemed company. I also expect a refund for my flight tickets from Mumbai to my hometown which I had to book again at the highest price because of the negligence of your tour manager. Now comes the entire experience and story.

It started with 2020 when my trip was booked and cancelled due to COVID. I asked for an immediate refund and was told that I would get only 50% of the amount paid.. otherwise they asked us to wait for some more time and they would book us on another trip. 3 years later.. we had to pay for our transfer charges extra. Our planned trip from May was postponed to June since they could not arrange an appointment for Swiss Visa. Multiple to and fro for all visas as well to Mumbai since we are not from there.. so right now we have already paid 30% of the total trip amount extra from our pockets.. coming to the itinerary.

1) London sightseeing: We were not shown the Piccadilly Circus. When we asked the tour manager where it was he said we drove past it. It would be great if the tour guide/tour manager are alert when such important sightseeing places pass and tell us on time.

2) At Cologne: In an unforeseen event our bus driver passed away! My sincere condolences to him and his family. However, Veena World had 0 backup plans for this.. it was not just his death but the bus could also break down but you guys have no contacts in Germany to get a spare bus/ driver or atleast accomodation in proper rooms for the guests. All of us were stranded in a small room (42 people in a room for the entire day) with arrangements for a few old people in 2-3 rooms that too for 1-2 hours. This was not all, another driver from Paris was called who reached at 5ish. When we left from there tired, the bus tyre got punctured and then we had to sit on the highway for another 1 hour. Due to all of this, we faced a lot of inconvenience and missed our sightseeing for the day.

Places missed: Black Forest, Cuckoo Clock Factory, Zurich Lake (which was shown to us in transit from very very far the next day) and Rhine Falls which was also adjusted the next day where we literally had to run to catch the boat. I just pray you guys never have to see the sight of 60+year old people literally running to catch this boat.. Poor fellows really!!!

That's not it.. we have barely slept in this entire tour, a max of 4 hours. We always returned late to hotel due to traffic or some or the other reason and had to wake up early for the next day. So the tour was extremely hectic. You should have kept in mind that max people travelling were old people, you would be responsible for any mishaps with them.

Also 2-3 days back to back we had to eat English lunch/dinner which basically was a McDonald's burger. Good try on cost-cutting but I've lost your customer trust as well!

Next are the hotels, maximum hotels that we checked into were not from the list provided. The hotel rooms were too small with barely some place to move. I would appreciate if you work on what you commit.

Last but not the least, the last day where our flight got cancelled. We were at the colosseum in Rome when we received this message that our fight was cancelled. The tour manager still took us to the airport at 4 am (mind it we slept at 2am). We sat at the airport till 2pm (people had to sit on the floor since there were not enough chairs at the airport). The tour manager was so helpless all the time, in fact he asked us to talk to the person on the ticket desk. Everyone else from other tours went ahead and boarded their flights. Some from our tour also were sent before. We had a connecting flight from Mumbai which I had already informed the tour manager and so I had asked him to put me on the next earliest flight to Mumbai. Since as usual he doesn't have a say on anything, he booked me and my husband on the last flight next day which reaches Mumbai at 11 am next to next day. We missed our flight and due to his negligence, we had to book the most expensive flight to fly back from Mumbai to our hometown. I expect a refund for those flights as well.. but duh uh.. nobody from Veena World would respond to your calls. So nothing doing.. my hard money is all gone down the drain. The tour manager himself left in the very first flight! Wow.. and what if there were issues with the ones going after him? Nobody cares! Your customer support hangs up the calls in between if the conversation does not go their way. They made false promises of Giving us a resolution on the Germany incident the very next day but in fact stopped responding to our emails and calls.

I wish you guys were there as well to enjoy this comedy of terrors.. cuz this was no vacation for me but only 13 days of extreme stress, fatigue and irritation.

I am definitely not booking from Veena World again after this experience and my parents who were loyal Veena World travellers and have taken multiple trips with you guys will also lose trust in you.

I VISITED PARIS N SWISS DURING 23 TO 30 MAY 2023 WITH MY FAMILY BY PAYING Rs.2, 40, 000/-PER HEAD. VEENA WORLD PROVIDED 3rd CLASS HOTELS EXCEPT 02 NIGHTS, THEY DO 'FRAUD'.

Very pathetic experience. selling TOURS which are not operational and asking more money when you book it. when you ask for refunds use delaying tactics.

I travelled through Veena World to kashmir last week.Our tour was Wonders of Kashmir dated 9th April'23.

THIS WAS MY 1OTH TOUR..

I m having mixed feelings on this tour.

Positive Points:-

1) Office staff Vishkha Udas from Dombivli office had done her job brilliantly as usual.

2) I must say our tour manager Mr. AKSHAY MAYEKAR & his assistant Mr.Bhushan both have done a good job.

3) Especially Akshay ( a good , smart and cooperative person) tour manager has taken a tremendous care of my mother throughout the tour.....all unforgettable moments...a token of appreciation from the entire Pethe family

4) Sightseeimg policy of Veena world was upto the mark during this tour.

Negative Points:-

1) On very first day of our tour , we got a THIRD CLASS NON AC bus( a surprise shock ??considering premium tour price)

2) Shockingly, our tour manager said that it's difficult to have anAC BUS in this sector.??

3)But at Avantipura ruins, we spotted a new AC BUS for another Veena world group ( SHAME ON VEENA WORLD FOR SUCH A DISCRIMINATION).

4) When we complained about this , the same evening....they arranged an AC BUS....Still I don't know ...in such a short time, how they managed an AC BUS in this sector out of thin air (ref point 2)

5)During our return journey from Sonmarg to Srinagar, we spotted another NON AC BUS carrying VENNA WORLD tourists towards Sonmarg. ( very cheap feeling )

5) Hotel quality ( except houseboat stay ) and food menu selection was below average. Poor selection of deserts(for first 3 days .)at such a premium price .

6) Last but not least , Veena World stopped to provide for poncho, sling bag, capetc. due to Covid reason

Now , it's a high time to rethink.....should we approach VEENA WORLD for our next tour or not ?

Worst experience with Veena world Greece trip. They have attractive itinerary just for the sake of getting more customers. They don't give further information until you pay atleast 50% to them. They had mentioned 1 night stay in Mykonos and 2 nights in Santorini which are the main attractions in Greece. Stay in Mykonos was cancelled and Santorini stay was changed to single night a day before we start for the trip. Mykonos is famous for night life and we visited it morning 11am, spending only 1.5 hour there. The trip started with totally different sequence than what was mentioned in the itinerary; making it too hectic for all tourists. The places were just visited and ? in the itinerary. We couldn't not experience things silently even for a few minutes. Greece food served was too budget picture which started giving us feeling of a beggar - only Greece food included was cooked moong dal, jaziki and stuffed tomatoes. Itinerary had lunch at 1500 BC restaurant and we were actually taken to Barolo restaurant justifying that it's by same shef. Stay at Athens was confirmed at Athens Tiara and was provided at Wyndham residence (which was again low budget picture of Wyndham chain). Hotel stays were without toiletries. Santorini stay was check-in by 11pm and check-out by 10am. Hotel stays at syros and Santorini were all the way outside the main area, totally countryside.

They saved their money where ever possible giving all kind of discomfort to tourists. More than 70% of time was in travel via coach or ferry. 9 out of 39 tourists felled sick that they could not continue sightseeing after 3rd day.

Veena world happily booked our Europe tour for May. Then called us for Visa documentation, did the process and after 2 weeks said that there is no appointment and we either have to cancel our trip or chose another destination. We believed them and then started the trauma of follow ups as there was no communication from their end. We pushed them for a date in June and they agreed. Again we had to follow up for Visa as now the documentation has to be done again as dates changed. We literally went to their office on our own just 4-5 days before visa appointment date and this time the process was different. Then we realised that last time when they did the documentation it was just a show as they knew the appointment was not going to happen. Then we realised that Veena world cheated us and made us block money. Then 2 days before Visa appointment they called us to their office to collect the kit and asked for my fathers death certificate in English and notary. This was the limit.

Worst expe By th tour group. Really unprofessional behaviour, they didn’t even manage a simple airline crisis by booking other airlines. For just 100-200 peoples .

They even don’t have ability to cope up or make desigion for the crisis . They didn’t able to manage the situation. Hence can’t call themselves as a leading first company in india.

Tour group didn’t even unable to communicate between the advisors and tourists about the situation .

What stand should taken by such big company. The reputation is in their hands.

Worst experience ever , after 3 months of booking they not even answering the calls and emails.

Worst experience with first ever trip booked with Veena World.

I had asked for a customized tour. After several to and fro, team provided me the package. I booked the tour after providing all important documents like PAN, Passport etc. Paid the advance as well. Next day, team told me that package cost increased by 100%. Earlier cost was sent by mistake!!! Had to cancel the booking (which was officially in their system and booking was done after providing all docs). Follow up to get my refund.

Total frustration and harassment. Team had no knowledge, totally unprofessional behavior. Will never book with them again. I should give zero stars. Small tour operators are way better than these guys.

Our first ever trip with Veena world is marred with Go First Insolvency issue and cancellation of flights. We we are scheduled to go on 27th May, 2023 to Amritsar from Mumbai. We approached their Vasant Vihar, Thane branch office to check on the flight cancellation issue due to the Go First Airlines crisis situation but were totally disappointed with the way their executive behaved.

We had booked for Shimla manali trip for senior citizens and it was to leave on 3rd May from Mumbai. we had paid full money as told by the Pune office on 4 th April and on May 2nd we had already reached Mumbai. On same day afternoon I saw the news of Go first airline cancelling flights from 3 rd May and shared this information with veena world coordinators. one of them confirmed the news and asked us to wait. Afterwards i received a call from Pune office making an allegation that we have not paid balance 5000 Rs. and he will send us new tickets for 3 rd May after receiving this money. Actually there was no

such balance shown in earlier documents but Pune office had offered us a discount of 5k (without we asking for) and now last minute when we had even the boarding pass of go first Verna World person is coming out with this balance document. I have copy of earlier receipt of Rs. 1 lakh which says page 1 of 1 and 15 hrs before travel he sends a document with 2 pages - second page showing 5k balance.!!!

In good faith We transferred that money immediately (in spite of knowing that go air flight of May 3 is cancelled) - because we were told that other air line ticket will be sent

This was a trap - professional misconduct and cheating-and at mid night an official email and a phone call from mumbai office comes to say that trip is cancelled. They do not have refund policy. now i came to know that many persons who booked even international trips and due to lock down the trip was cancelled and their money in few lakhs is still with Veena World for those years.

This is the first time in my life we booked veena world - and it will be probably the last time also !!!

We had booked for group tour in the month of Feb 2023 fully paid for Shimla manali and manikaran which was scheduled on 15 may 2023 but due to flight canceled by go first we have been very disappointed as we have already paid full amount to veena world this last minute cancelation has made our plan go for a toss.My request was that Veena World should book an alternate flight for all the tour members and not keep us in a dilemma whether our trip will be cancelled or not.

This is our first trip after covid which we were looking forward to and also planned our holidays accordingly.We have had a very bad first time experience with Veena World which was very unexpected as they are not bothered about customer service and are just looking at minting money from us.Pls pay our full money back.

Worst management and very unprofessional way by Veena Group of the tour “Best of Kashmir”.

Important points:

Accommodation: Hotels chosen were of its lowest category, No door locks to the main door or broken, Uncleaned and dirty mattresses, blankets, bedsheet except at Hotel in Gulmarg. Non-working of TV’s. Room heaters were made OFF after 12 at the night, Hot water was the perennial issue.

Houseboat: Very unclean and lousy houseboats. Unprofessional caretaker.

Food: Worst ever food at all locations(Barring only lunch at once place-Gulmarg). No child friendly food at any location. Fixed menu, Why? Tour manager said “you shall get only this in these areas”

However, when we explored outside, everything was available including vegetables.

Breakfast: Upama/Poha, bread butter jam, tasteless egg bhurji.

Lunch and Dinner: Roti, Dal, Potato’s and paneer…No change.

Sweet: All horrifying and tasteless.

Rice: Only one type of boiled rice.

Non-veg: Only chicken and not at all eatable. Eggs were served fried in sour way.

Evening snacks: Only waterbased tea with GoodDay biscuits. One evening after tea, immediately offered ice cream….Is it right?

Just to cover up your itinerary are you playing with our health?

In Kashmir, not a single Kashmiri delicacy or saffron in any of the dish in the entire tour was served. In all Hotels, menu & taste of the food was same. No differentiation.

Itinerary: Very boring itinerary of Veena World. We were in Kashmir to see the beauty and explore. However, we were maximum time inside the hotel. On rest day/time, no local sightseeing or guidance from tour manager.

Are we supposed to be in the hotel like lockdown?

Local transportation at Srinagar, It is illegal to ply with vehicles having more than 10 years for passengers on tour. Veena World used vehicles were outdated vehicles (Sumo & Tavera) might be more than 20 years old, dirty and stinky. Drivers talking on mobiles and smoking all the time, Non-working of AC’s/heaters, in fact no dials in the vehicles, Torn seats, non-operative windows. We found this tour with Veena Worlds arrangement at its lowest and at very unprofessional level. We won’t be recommending, rather we all have made up mind NOT to travel with Veena World anymore. With high frustration level, finally we ourselves explored markets and various places.

We found places are far better than what Veena World’s manager was offering rather NOT offering including shopping places/food etc (which was horrible in hotels).

Information:

No guide at any place either to give information or guide, It was only “time is over, jaldi chalo….but where…you know…In the hotel…What for?”

Start of sightseeing early morning around 8:30 -9:00 AM and were completed before lunch. After lunch just seat or locked in the hotel. Snow ride information was not provided properly. We lost paying unnecessarily therein. We choose/prefer, traveller NOT to get cheated or Not to spend on unwanted things but this was not the case here.

Last day was lost doing nothing, we were just idle for the entire day, It's a waste of money.

Finally pleasant points:

We could ourselves explore places of shopping, photography, information of places. Weather was good, so could enjoy snow-related activities. Hotel at Gulmarg was hygienic and comparatively good.

My husband and I traveled with Veena World to Lahaul Spiti between 2nd June and 13th June. As soon as we reached Chandigarh from Mumbai, I realised what a mistake we had made. First, the car allotted to four of us of the group of 20, didn’t have a functioning AC, a horrendous experience in the 41 degree heat! Next, the sight seeing began almost immediately with a visit to Pinjore gardens in the sweltering heat and burning hot sun. Obviously, no one did any sightseeing, but Veena World had completed part of their itinerary! This was a recurring experience throughout. For example, when we had reached the heights, we were taken sightseeing to Pin Valley National Park, which was just a repetition of the rocky terrain we drove through during the entire tour. The ‘running’ kitchen dished out the same insipid cuisine day in and day out. We could hardly sample any of the local cuisine. There was often a feeling of being herded like cattle and dragged to different sightseeing spots. Undoubtedly, Spiti is a most majestic and grand part of the Himalayas, but it’s not for seniors, which was the major age composition of the tour. Additionally, the ‘hotels’ allotted to us were substandard, to use an understatement. Only after we fought and argued with the Mumbai office, were we allotted more decent rooms. Veena World was most poorly organised in its plans, dragging us through 12-13 hours of driving in rocky river beds and dangerous routes almost daily . Luckily, the drivers of the cars were experienced, and so they were able to steer us safely through these. Had Veena World warned us of these pitfalls at the very outset, we would never have booked for this tour. This company seems to go to any extent to cut costs, even endanger the lives of its patrons. One of the group had to be rushed to a ‘primary health centre’ as he was feeling very uneasy. There was no doctor, as expected and when one was found, she hardly had any wherewithal to even conduct an examination! Such negligence renders one speechless. My only suggestion is the one must AVOID travelling by VEENAWORLD at all cost! Trash it!

My niece and myself had booked Veenaworld spiti valley tour from 2nd june to 13th june. Got the list of confirm hotels only 3 days before the tour after persistently asking about it. They did not give us the hotels given in the list at three places out of four in the first four days of the tour. The hotels provided by Veena world were absolutely pathetic and at places not suitable for family crowd. At Nako and Losar only 10 people out of 20 got good rooms rest of us had to stay in underconstruction (Nako) and filthy hotel (Losar). I would not be surpised if I come to know that the tour managers are getting incentives if they make us stay in degraded hotels, since in the first few days of the tour we were all not familiar with each other and everyone complained individually. After the fourth day we all were complaining like a group. The food provided was not up to mark. Vehicles provided were not in the best of conditions. This is a reputed tour operater and it is unacceptable that the hotels in the list provided to us had 'bounced' the word used by our tour manager, in three places of our stay in the first four days of our tour. In sangla we had to stay in Prakash guest house instead of Prakash regency. And in losar the hotel provided had only 5 rooms of which one was given to someone else, and we were 20 people to be accomodated which they knew when we had booked the tour. The rest of us 12 people were given accommodation in dirty hotels nearby. Same was the case in Nako. The harrasment we faced on ground cannot be described in words. Even after calling their representative and sending mails we did not get any reply from them. Very bad experience I will not recommend Veenaworld tours to anyone in my circle.

I am a frequent and widely travelled senior citizen, who had to suffer the misfortune of doing a trip to Kashmir recently with Veena World (VW). Easily one of the most incompetent and unprofessional tour operators in business today, I would like to outline below some of the grossly unacceptable practices being adopted by Veena World, for the cautionary benefit of the tourists who wish to patronize this tour operator: 1. Once you have paid up for an upcoming trip, in case your travel plans change due to an unforeseen family or medical emergency, you can forget getting a refund. You are likely to be stuck with VW, and forced to travel on one of their other tours, whether you like it or not. I know of several cases among my friends who have paid up Rs. 1,00,000/- – Rs. 5,00,000/- , and who are entrapped in the ‘No Refund on Cancellation’ policy since several months, doomed to travel with VW as an when a suitable opportunity or tour presents itself. 2. No amount of convincing or protesting, even during the recent covid pandemic, when cancellations due to the precarious prevailing conditions within the country and abroad were justified, would make them refund your hard earned money. This unsympathetic and unreasonable practice is appalling, to say the least. 3. During day long travel, especially when our travel involved change of aircraft and a long layover, food was offered to us only after we protested loudly demanding that food packets be distributed between our connecting flights. 4. Forget being welcomed with a chilled welcome drink upon arrival in Srinagar, we weren’t even offered a small bottle of mineral water. 5. The buses engaged by VW throughout the sightseeing tours on all the days, were extremely badly maintained NON – AC BUSES, with cramped seating arrangement and virtually no leg room. 6. The rash bus drivers drove the buses with absolute no consideration for traffic rules or speed limits, making these bus rides near traumatic. 7. The hotel rooms allotted to us in Srinagar were absolutely pathetic 8 ft X 8 ft dingy affairs, with NO AC, unwashed linen and poor room service eg. My request for a couple of clothes hangers or a cup of tea took nearly two hours to be attended to. 8. The quality of the food served left a lot to be desired. It was alternating between extremely spicy and completely bland. 9. Snacks like mini Cadbury Perks chocolate bars, Maggie noodles and popcorn were served ever so unimaginatively during travel. 10. The general itinerary comprised of several inconsequential places of little or no significance that could have been easily avoided. These are only a few of the rather long list of inconveniences we had to put up with. A word of caution to anyone even remotely contemplating taking tours with Veena World…just avoid VW like plague. Trust me, you’ll never regret it!

This was by the best travel group company I have ever dealth with. Been on many all over the world Veena world was prompt with any questions I had prior to trip and during trip. My trip was cut short due to covid 19. Our guide and driver were phenominal . Sagar our guide for whole trip was outstanding. Very compassionate . My 16 year old son adored him. We were on a lifetime trip to India. Sagar made this trip memoreable . Highly knowledgeable of history .Veena world took our safety as their forst priority everywhere we went. All hotels were good clean and excellent meals provided. Sagar while in Ranthaborne took us to an old fort which is not a tourist spot. It was amazing. We were saddened when we told by our govt advising to get home. Next march we will go back and using Veena world again. the whole team at Veena was amazing . Every tour was top notch and I had flexibilityi of not being herded like big bus tours do. When covid travel restrictions put in place I must admit India was pro active airports hotels sites etc.Once I arrived home was expecting the same as India but our Canada was no where near India with precautions. I left India feeling like I needed to get back asap. Veena world is all over use them for your travel Best experience form start to finish. This travel company made everything seamless. The trip was pure magic from beginning to end. From our amazing driver to each guide.. everyone was informative and kind. All credits goes to Mr. Roshan Singh. He is very kind person and he himself comes to pick you up at airport. We were 3 couples so he specially arranged a good Toyoto Hiace AC car (10-12 seater including luggage). Because of this, we were all comfortable during travel and together in one car. He also suggested us to go for Mt. Everest flight which was truly mesmerizing. Also, this customized tour package was much more affordable as compared to other travel companies. So if anyone want to do Nepal tour, go through Aid Journeys and Adventures. It is highly recommended.

Seriously, I have travelled through various travel companies but this one was the best I have experienced. Mr. Roshan Singh (company owner) himself comes to pick you at airport. He is very kind and patient person. He takes care throughout your journey. The hotel also he provided were all 4 star-hotel. The driver was also very kind and experienced because of which our journey went smoothly. Also a trip to Muktinath temple (situated 3800 m above sea level) he arranged was fantastic. Moreover, the package cost was very much less as compared to other travel companies. I highly recommend Aid Journeys and Adventure if you are planning for Nepal.

We booked our 7 nights 8 days Nepal package online with AID Journey and Adventure...first we were a little worried how things will go as we had kids with us..but as we landed in Kathmandu Mr Roshan and Mrs Alisha personally came to receive us at the Airport so our little worry was cleared as we spoke to them, and he explained us the itinerary details...and then everything was taken care ...right from hotel ,travelling ,sightseeing,etc. Had a wonderful memorable holiday...of Nepal..Will surely suggest book a holiday with them, Thanks to AID Journey and Adventure. .
