Get ready dive k-pop girl group ive is gearing up for their first world tour..

On August 11, Starship Entertainment announced their girl group IVE’s first world tour, Show What I Have, through IVE’s official SNS channels.

The Seoul performance to kick off the start of the Show What I Have tour will be held at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on October 7 and 8. On the second day, the 8, the performance will be broadcast live through the global platform Beyond Live for fans around the world who cannot attend the event in person. This tour is IVE’s first world tour since its debut. In particular, ahead of its comeback in October, IVE plans to unveil its new album for the first time through the concert, further boosting the heat of its comeback.

While attention is focused on the stage that IVE will show through the world tour after successfully wrapping up the previously held Asian fan tour concert The Prom Queens , Ive is launching a global move with the world tour Show What I Have . Ticket reservations will be available on Melon Tickets, with fan club pre-sales launching at 8:00 pm KST on August 22 and general reservations at 8:00 pm on August 25. VIP tickets will also be available for purchasing, allowing VIP ticket holders access to the pre-show sound check event.

IVE debuted in December 2021 and established itself as a ‘representative 4th generation group’ by causing a syndrome-like craze with the first single “Eleven,” the second single “Love Dive” and the third single “After Like. As if to prove this, last year IVE swept the annual charts of various major music sites through “Love Dive,” the most used sound source record on the TikTok platform, and the newcomer award, main prize, and grand prize at various awards ceremonies.

Following this, IVE’s first full-length album I’VE IVE , released in April 2023, sold more than 1.1 million copies in the first week of sales, making IVE a million-seller for the second consecutive year. In addition, with the double title songs “Kitsch” and “I Am,” IVE recorded ‘Perfect All Kill’ on major music sites in Korea and won 11 crowns on music broadcasts (2 crowns for “Kitsch” and 9 crowns for “I Am”),  surpassing their previous records.

Meanwhile, the Seoul concert to kick off IVE’s first world tour, Show What I Have, will be held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul at 6:00 pm KST on October 7 and 5:00 pm KST on October 8.

These 3 title songs gave IVE a total of 37 award wins across various Korean music shows.

In 2022, IVE won Best New Artist for their debut song ‘ELEVEN’ and Best Song of The Year (Grand Prize) for ‘LOVE DIVE’ at the Melon Music Awards. They also won Song of the Year (Grand Prize) at the 2022 MAMA Awards and 2022 Asia Artist Awards, Digital Song of The Year (Grand Prize) at the 37th Golden Disk Awards, and Best Song Award at the 32nd Seoul Music Awards.  At the Golden Disk Awards, which has been running for 37 years, IVE made history by receiving the Rookie Artist of the Year Award, the main award for Digital Song of the Year, and the Grand Award for Digital Song Division. In addition, IVE’s Executive Producer and Vice President of Starship Entertainment, Hyun Joo Seo, was also honored with receiving the Producer Award at two award shows.

In 2023, IVE’s first full-length album <I’ve IVE> sold more than 1.1 million copies in the first week and their title songs ‘Kitsch’ and ‘I AM’ went on to win 11 awards domestically (‘Kitsch’ 2 wins / ‘I AM’ 9 wins), sweeping various major music charts in Korea. <I’VE MINE> has sold more than 1.6 million copies and became a ‘Million Seller’ for the third consecutive time. Title tracks ‘Baddie’, ‘Off The Record’, and ‘Either Way’ have shown their strength by making their way into the top of the Korean charts.

Taylor Swift European dates kick off in Paris

T he highest-grossing tour in history finally arrived in Europe on Thursday as Taylor Swift kicked off her European dates with four nights in Paris.

Thousands of fans were already visiting the La Defense Arena 24 hours before the show just to get their hands on the merchandise as soon as possible.

A handful of superfans camped out from Tuesday to ensure they got a prime spot in the standing section.

"I didn't plan to, but I came to check it out and I saw the first tents and I panicked a little," said Chris, 30.

Noah, 20, is seeing all four Paris concerts -- he used 22 email addresses to get through the lottery system and secure the tickets.

Many accents in the crowd were American -- the venue says a fifth of the audience has come from the United States.

Georg'Ann Daly decided to celebrate her 23rd birthday with the show in Paris. It meant flying from Nashville to Chicago to London and catching the Eurostar to Paris.

"I've always been obsessed with Taylor Swift," she told AFP.

"I went to her show in Nashville and thought I'm never doing that again because it was crazy. It's a lot of over-stimulation and I have social anxiety.

"But it's my birthday and it's Paris and it's the first night of the tour, and I thought why not? It's so worth it!"

- Record-breaker -

Some 42,000 people will see Swift in Paris before she heads on for dates in Sweden, Portugal, Spain, Britain, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria.

The Eras Tour has worked its way across North and South America and Asia since starting in March 2023.

By the end of the year, it had already become the first to sell more than $1 billion in tickets and is on track to more than double that by the time it concludes in Vancouver this December.

Swifties in Paris are especially excited to hear songs off her new album, "The Tortured Poets Society", being performed for the first time.

Many critics have derided the 31-track album as bloated and lacking in sure-fire hits.

But you won't hear that from the devoted crowd in Paris.

"I love the new album -- it's chill, it's fun to listen to even though it's got a sadder vibe," said Kelly Shrout, 40, who flew with 11 friends from Kentucky in the United States for the show.

"I hope she plays 'Fortnight'," she added.

Her popularity shows no sign of dimming -- the new album shifted 1.4 million copies on its first day and broke every streaming record going, reaching a billion streams on Spotify within five days.

Swift's tell-all dissections of her love stories have been the fuel powering her global domination, and fans have been pouring over "The Tortured Poets Department" for cryptic clues about Joe Alwyn, her short-but-dramatic fling with Matty Healy (lead singer of The 1975), and her current partner, American football star Travis Kelce.

"Taylor talks about toxic relationships, impossible love, politics, mental health, and so much more -- I think we can all find a song that resonates with our experiences," said Chris as she waited by her tent for the big moment.

Some 42,000 people are set to see Taylor Swift in Paris
